APOM Pour Femme

Another update: Now I can say with certainty that the first version is more elaborate, more complex, and more sophisticated than what followed. At least from the bottles I currently own—one from 2012, one from 2015, and another from 2018. I havent tried the recently lauched Apom, b ut Im curious how it is. Update: After a year, a can say that the juice from the two bottles I own and the decant are pretty much the same. I think whith time they become more intense and more settled. I don't get the vintage vibe anymore from the 2015 bottle with silver cap, instead, it's very close to the one from the decant, which is from a 'pour femme' bottle (before 2015 batch). I'm very happy to own this bottles as this is one of my Top 5 from my collection, and in my humble opinion, one of the BEST Kurkdjian's creations, alongside Lumiere Noire. ....................................................................................................................................... A fragrance that embodies elegance and femininity. My new favorite from MFK after Lumiere Noire <3 Love it to the moon and back! I have two bottles, one a 2018 batch, another from 2015 with a silver cap and a decant from an old bottle "pour femme". All of them are slightly different. The oldest is the best, with more ylang, longevity an sillage. The second has a hint of vintage ylang, like Chanel No.5 and the last one has the least longevity but anyways, I cherish all of them.

Orange blossom is one that always tend to stand out to me. It’s sunny, smiling and unforgivingly cheery – which is great! But often when wearing it I end up feeling like my cheeks have been taped up with Scotch tape, stuck in a rather unfortunate manner. I guess orange flowers just weren’t made to go with Scandinavian melancholy. APOM Pour Femme is an orange blossom scent among millions of others. Still, it’s nothing like any one of all those. When I wear it I hardly notice the orange blossoms. They’re there at the first application but after that, it’s all structures and textures. I see the face of a geisha, white paint and powder on the surface, flesh and blood underneath. I feel the slightly coarse coolness on the lips when taking a sip from an ancient stoneware cup. I feel like walking into an old closet, the roughness of the wooden planks on one side, the silky smoothness of a creme brulee colored negligee on the other. Simply put, APOM Pour Femme is the best orange blossom scent I’ve encountered yet. It’s minimalistic, just a hint of orange blossoms over an equally well-blended base of powdery ambers and woods. The ylang seems to have a starchy effect, binding the swirliness of the orange blossoms, still offering enough transparency for the light to shine through. APOM Pour Femme balances perfectly between gentle prettiness and abysmal womanliness – like a dainty parcel containing all the mysteries of the world.

this is amazing one of the best maison kurkdjian's feminine fragrances,of course it's expensive but for me it's costworthy,imagine the prettiest combination of orangeflower and ylangylang,it's rich,feminine,elegant,warm yet fresh,ladylike,sensual..Love at first sniff,I can smell ylangylang and orangeflower in their most gorgeous face,there is honeylike sweetness in the base with a hint of citrus,bright and opulent.wow but to be honest I'm worried about third note listed here,cedar..I'm waiting anxiously for it to show up and ruin this lovely scent for me..I can already smell it faintly in the background..thanks god it never becomes dominant in the rough masculine way it often tends to be on me,ofcourse there is a deep woodsy base here but in the softest way,anchoring florals and balancing their sweetness without ruining it's feminity apom is simple yet unique,it has all lovely qualities I look for in a feminine fragrance,I find it even great as a wedding perfume..I welcome it happily to my wishlist it's longlasting on me,sillage is more than moderate but not that big,it can't fill a room but is noticeable for others ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

At first, it reminded me of a hairdresser. Probably some hair products they're using. But it was really nostalgic feeling (maybe you should know I haven't really cut my hair for over 10yrs now) . Someone said, it reminded her of bath pearls she used to like as a kid. Exactly!! After hairdresser smell, it comes something that smells exactly like a cute little shop, where my mother used to take me when I was a kid and I loved it. They sold soaps, bath pearls, other soapy products, home fragrances and the most cute teddy bears. So, the beginning of APOM is kind of nostalgic for me. Then, it settles down and it becomes quality white floral, with dominant ylangylang on my skin, which is a bit harsh and overall feeling is really a bit citric. But I like it anyway and I haven't tried it in hot weather yet. It is a white floral as I like it (it creates something similar as Fracas on my skin) and I think I'm falling in love. It is happy, but not naive, it is sexy and light, but not without character. Maybe it is just too sharp for my nose. We will see.

I was so lucky in being able to find a bottle of this off FB and I don’t plan on using it much because I want it to last forever. APOM Femme is a simple but stunning and sexy fragrance. It’s a clean ylang-ylang, made a little bit soapy by the orange blossom, and with the slightest touch of a warm, woodiness. It’s the most beautiful yellow floral I’ve smelled. Right now it’s cold where I live, but even so, this fragrance carries wonderfully. I think it’ll really shine in the heat, so I’m going to try it again when it gets warm. I don’t know why MFK would ever discontinue such a sickeningly and heartbreakingly beautiful fragrance such as this one. It’s become a total unicorn and has been crazy hard to find. I’m going to cherish my bottle forever. Also, this would be a beautiful wedding day frag for a spring / summer wedding. I may use it for my own when the time comes :)

I get a sample 3 mounth ago and yesterday evening I started to use...Ohhhh...it is love at first sniff. I Have to order immedeately a whole bottle. I hope it will be here soon:). The scent: Very-very feminim becouse of the ylang-ylang and orange flover. It is so harmonious and well balanced (the wirginia cedar is a strong equilibrant essence oil for woman!).I need it now very much, it is long lasting and it has big sillage- today I sprayed myself with it and I have 2 compliment in my working place- from 2 woman. "Wooow, You have so good smell!" It is my new favorite scent for august-september-oktober! I reccommend for real WOMAN above 35! My first whole bottle Kurkdjian parfum! :) EDIT:after 2 hours there is some ethereal cloud around me-it is APOM femme. I don’t sniff always but men around me sniffing and saying woow, what is this god damn good smell?

This is a beautiful white orange blossom that is slightly powdery, just a smidge. It's feminine without being overly sharp, soapy or powdery. It's slightly honeyed but not nearly as sweet as other honeyed Orange Blossom scents (ie. Sweet Redemption). The Ylang-Ylang gives it an almost oriental feel and blends well with the cedar to anchor the orange blossom. In the drydown the cedar comes out a bit more but it's always second fiddle to the florals. The overall composition is warm and slightly powdery. the three notes listed are deceptively simple. How they interact with each other is anything but simple. The longevity is actually pretty amazing for an orange blossom scent, about 8 hours. The sillage is moderate. It's personal but not a skin scent.

I thought that this was never going to be discontinued because you know... This is an amazingly warm and luminous scent, like it's the summer and you're on the beach, on the chaise-lounge but under the parasol, just applied your sunscreen so nothing's gonna happen to you, sipping your ice-cold lemonade with a couple of spearmint leaves in it and there's a Mediterranean garden right behind you and you smell yellow and white flowers and cedar at the same time. Life's good... Until it's not and someone goes and tells to discontinue this. Now, because I mostly smell ylang-ylang and tuberose, I'm going to be wearing Do Son in its absence, but this time I'll be stocking it. Would you please stop discontinuing cult fragrances, pretty please?

I found a tester of this with no recollection whatsoever of where I got it or when, so I thought I'd use it up. However, It's far too gorgeous to use willy-nilly. It is a lovely fresh summer scent. The orange blossom is refreshing and bright but not overpoweringly floral. There is a slight hint of soft spice which I think comes from the ylang-ylang, and the cedarwood underpins it all to give a slight musk. Later on, there is a hint of soft powder but no soapiness. This is a gentle summer scent, but a grown-up womanly summer scent rather than girlish. There is a suggestion of erotica, but not in-your-face sexiness, it's elegant and feminine. This is a beautifully blended and layered fragrance and I love it.

I finally managed to get my hands on a second hand bottle through FB. I have been hunting down this fragrance since I got a sample of it 2 years ago and then found out it was discontinued. This was love at first sniff. It’s the most beautiful and addictive fragrance I have ever tried. The ylang ylang and the orange blossom notes are masterfully blended. I cannot understand why this amazing fragrance was ever discontinued. I have now heard rumors that it will be re-launched soon and so I will hold on to my bottle to compare it with the new launch once it happens. If you still have a bottle of this fragrance in your collection hold on to it. An 11 out of 10 for me.

I was not sure if I liked the opening of APOM, but after 20 minutes I have certainly started to fall in love with this perfume. What a natural, fresh and attractive scent! It has some retro vibe, or rather a classic vibe (some old Guerlain feel, anyone?), but it is also very modern, like all FK's creations are. I mostly feel ylang ylang with its wonderful powderiness, and sometimes also catch the fresh whiffs of orange blossom. I cannot tell if I smell many notes here, it's a well blended, smooth, harmonious fragrance. It's a dressy daytime perfume, extremely feminine, with a long and seductive sillage. 9/10, it's worth the high price!

APOM is not what I was expecting. It took me a while to get to know and love it. I guess I was expecting the bright sparkling orange blossom found in Elie Saab, but this is not it. APOM is a more intimate fragrance. The name - A Part Of Me - is right for it. It is the actuall smell of a bitter orange tree on mid-March, with the intoxicating smell of the flowers and the heavy warm scent of the oranges that have fallen from the tree and are lying on the ground in the sun. There is no orange peel note here, so I guess it's the ylang ylang. Beautiful and long lasting. Together with Lumiere Noir, this is my favourite from MFK.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh it's so gorgeous!!! I'm in love!!! The most wonderful orange blossom, yang-ylang and cedar combination! Such a gorgeous smell!!! So sparkling and sweet and delicate and mesmerising! Completely feminine and elegant. So attractive and pretty, and fresh. And such a lovely sweet, honey type of freshness. It's terribly beautiful!!! And it has terrific staying power, and carries delightfully, wafting around me and entrancing everyone who is near me. Everyone loves it. I adore it!!!!! It's warm and sensual, light and alluring, and just PERFECT!!!

This is possibly the best smelling women's fragrance I have ever experienced. This is pure class, elegance and sexiness. It also performs like a fragrance of this genre should perform. It lasts for ages, gives a relatively intimate scent bubble and hangs in the air for a long time. I remember my ex-girlfriend wearing this for the first time. She would have the most divine scent trail the entire day and still have a small scent bubble around her after the 24h mark. So beautiful. Why oh why did they discontinue this? A solid 10/10 for me.

Heavenly elegant, ultra feminine scent! This is the best orange blossom perfume I ever smelled – sweet, soft, soapy. I would add round, golden, intoxicating... the list of positive adjectives could be infinite. Only the true genius, as Francis Kurkdjain is, possesses the capacity to create so wonderfully balanced scent only with three notes. Orange blossom, cedre and ylang-ylang - that's it, so simple and so complex. He earns my absolute admiration and APOM is the next Francis Kurkdjian perfume I add to my want-list!

Amazing Elegant Scent! Beautiful cozy scent. APOM sends delicious wafts of orange blossom curling around your body, with a powdery comfortable warmth that envelops your senses and exudes a sexy feel. The first spray, I detect the cedar almost more than orange blossom and then ylang ylang. 20+ min later.. the orange blossom really comes to life. The fragrance is very smooth and extremely well blended. There is a powdery quality to it that makes it more sophisticated and sexy. APOM is a completely FBW!

The most beautiful orange blossom I've ever smelled. Point. Nothing to add! Well, maybe just this ... In my opinion, APOM is the queen of orange blossom based fragrances and I recommend it to all who love this note. Do not be afraid of the ylang ylang note, I was (because it was a blind buy for me), but the fragrance is so well blended that the orange blossom remains in the forefront. I tried this beauty on last night and am in love. I could still smell it on my wrist this morning. Orange blossom and ylang ylang, how uplifting and sexy at the same time. Not getting the cedar at all on my skin. So sweet, warm, delicate, personal, how can I own a bottle of this as soon as possible? Could replace half of my collection with this one bottle and be happy, I think...

Sad to see this one getting discontinued, it smells like a classic high end facial cream. I always wish to smell like that expensive face cream I use, and now I found it in an old bottle I haven’t touched in years. Too bad it’s gone because if someone asked me what perfume to smell like a good face cream, this would be the one I suggest. It’s clean, soapy, silky, dreamy.

The prettiest of them all! This is a must for any yellow floral lover. So classy and elegant, very fresh and uplifting, no sticky sweetness is involved! it has the signature MFK zesty & airy tone. to me this is happiness in a bottle, picture yourself wearing a white summer dress strolling around central park on a nice sunny day. If you can find a bottle, get it.

Sweet and powdery orange blossom, with a sensuous bright ylang. Very pretty and inviting, feels like sweet and uplifting sunshine. Great sillage, was told I leave a scent trail, and it's very long-lasting, at least 8 hrs. I'd like to try this in the cooler months, I feel like the cold may temper the overall creaminess.

This is the perfect scent for a summer/spring day/night! It’s a bust of sweet/ floral/ fresh. Good performance I get about 6 hours – I use about 5 sprays. I know it's a women's perfume - However, I'd say it is uni-sex. I love this and it smells amazing on my skin. Fragrance 9/10 Performance: 8/10 Versatility: 9/10

ooh this is incredible & gorgeous! on me its a sweet orangeblossom, it has something eastern, nice for summer days/ evenings or maybe even first date :-D love it and it last very well, it totally beated micallefs floral wich i so badly wanted to purchase my search for orangeblossom is over ^_^

Nectar and ambrosia for my mind. Can not imagine better floral for spring-time, that would be easy to wear yet with wow-factor. It is like weightless sunshine rays, but the presence is so obvious - sensual, soft, friendly, classy. Like some reviewers keep saying - heavenly.

I am absolutely in love with this perfume. I don't think I can explain it correctly, the amazing orange flower how effervescent yet suttle and so sexy. I bought the body cream to layer and I am in heaven. There is something so unique about this perfume. It is so gorgeous!

Seemingly simple (only 3 listed ingredients) but don't be fooled. This is a subtly sexy yet elegant fragrance. Perfect in warm weather, and wearable anywhere, anytime. Strong silage and wears over 12 hours. I never tire of this beauty.

This is delicious. I used two samples before I caved in and purchased the whole bottle. Somehow this reminds me of an exotic orange dessert. Love it so much and it lasts.

I love this fragrance. The orange is divine. I wear it often and find it fits most occasions. Its long lasting with a moderate silage.

I think it is lovely .It is wonderful and clean smell, It is floral and much better than the other perfumes

I want this instead of my Elie Saab bottles! It's sweeter, softer and even a bit heavy. I loooove it!

Like a sunbeam peeking from the blinds. This is sun in a bottle, that brings along ripe orange peel, ylang and orange blossom. On steroids. A mood lifter, a very lively and joyful fragrance, but strong. The drydown is a creamy dreamy cedar. Lasts forever. Sillage enormous. This is a powerhouse frag, I got myself years ago after admiring it on a lady in my office. It is not an office scent, but she was admittedly bathing in it (!!!). I recall telling her that was potent and one spritz would have made the deal. I told her "that way you can save the frag, so expensive it is" in order she didn't take offense. She kept on dousing, she didn't care. Even so, i loved the frag and bought myself a small sprayer (it was sold at the time). That I never used for office hours! To me this is a night out scent. It is feminine and sexy. Fast forward many years, I wanted to try it again, only to discover to much of my dismay that on MFK site APOM is not available anymore... so i guess it has been discontinued. In any case a very resembling dupe is Elie Saab Le Parfum or Le Parfum Intense (Francis K. Is behind Elie Saab frags and in Le Parfum made a very similar formula of APOM), that has also been discontinued last year, but i bought backup bottles Lol. I hope they bring it back.

Like most scents from this house I've tried, APOM is simple and intriguing at the same time - just three carefully selected notes done very well, artfully stripped of any superfluous fuss. In that regard it's certainly modern, but otherwise it's of an oldfashioned high quality: a very rich, elegant, feminine scent, strong and dense, a little heady with the ylang ylang. The very opening was surprisingly nostalgic for me; everyone else is mentioning citrus, so I guess my sample must have gone off just a little, because what I got was a pleasantly musty scent that transported me right back to art classes in primary school, an impression of old paint and art supplies and dusty pencil shavings. Weird, but a nice little flashback that disappears quite soon. And then it first settles down into the good kind of soapy, super clean in a luxurious way, before it becomes more powdery, with those beautifully dense or even syrupy florals blooming all the way through. It's not a light scent by any means, but I believe the reviewer below who says it's best in the heat of summer: it's good now, but I'll keep my sample to try it on a really hot day as well, when I think it'll bloom even more.

Apom Pour Femme is quite a nice refereshing one. The start is quite a déjà vu, which makes me think of sweetened, less spicy old fashioned cologne, like 4711, or any good citrusy aromatic perfume like Dior Escale a Portofino. A quite definite bergamot note is here. Soon after, the cologne feel is totally gone, Apom Pour Femme gets sweeter, a little bit powdery with a touch of old days charm, something like Hollywood in the 70s, 80s. Apom Pour Femme actually smell a bit non-dominant baby powder mixed with flower bouquet sweetness to me, I guess it’s the ylang ylang. Somehow it’s like a sibling of Givenchy’s Ange ou Demon and Very Irresistible. Later on, it gets more and more similar to Ange ou Demon, which I used to love a lot. The only difference to me is Apom Pour Femme is a bit smoother and less powdery than Ange ou Demon. Lovely scent to try on, and if you like Ange ou Demon you’ll love this!

Like many perfumes with dominant notes of orange blossom APOM feels warm and sunny, but it's enhanced with golden honey tones and Ylang Ylang. It feels very abundant and somehow open-hearted. I can see that APOM might prove to be one of the most popular from this house; Almost everyone is uplifted by orange blossom and I would definitely wear this on a summer evening. (The sillage is strong, boosted with a synthetic something or other) and I tend to wear light perfumes during the day). I'm looking forward to wearing it for a summer party scenario. It's got a very subtle incense note, and something that reminded me of dried citrus peel. For some reason I was vaguely reminded of an outdoor market in Marsielles selling fruit and flowers It's very pretty and if I was in a morose mood, spraying this on would immediately uplift me! Sillage and longevity are great, noticable and long lasting

I have to test it a few more times but one thing I know for sure: "it does not smell like L heure bleu", not for me at least. Nothing, just nothing at all. I wrote before that APOM smelled like berries but I was wrong. It took me 3 tests to change my mind about APOM. My question was: "would I buy it and wear it regularly?". After 3 tests I could say, yes for sure. It is a feminine, fresh, almost sweet floral scent. It is what the other reviewers wrote and much more. It sits beautiful on the skin and radiates a gorgeus orange and soapy note. As the other perfumes from Kurkdjian this one take a bit more time to fall in love with it. The only issue here is the price but worth of it. Christmas is coming and maybe one for under the tree.

A reviewer mentioned that APOM had a vitamin chalky feel - I agree, it smells a bit like the way a vitamin would taste. Still I find this enjoyable. I am not a huge lover of yellow florals but this one is pleasant and I've worn it maybe 10x now. It has excellent lasting power and moderate sillage. I was not blown away when I first smelled APOM even though I find most MFK fragrances divine. Nothing about this fragrance is surprising but the fragrance is very smooth. If you love yellow florals this is definitely a solid one but otherwise I would try a sample first as to me this is just OK.

APOM is a beautiful natural-smelling sweet floral. Orange blossom is the strongest note to me, but a soft and delightfully Oriental base, and a huff of ylang ylang. the natural strong sharp soapy element of orange blossom/neroli molecules is toned way down, leading to a sensual expression of these few notes. I am not in love for some reason. Perhaps because it is more old-fashioned smelling to me perhaps, because it has the strong orange of very classic colognes. Then the sweetness ends up feeling like too much. Nevertheless, well-done.

Yellow floral. 100% This is quite Heavy, in line with Chanel No 5 or Grand Soir (if you like the latter, there is a good chance you will like APOM). Ylang-ylang is prominent, paired with orange Blossom. Somewhere in heart, it gives a powdery effect (maybe this is what other reviewers said about soapiness?). However, the opening is nostalgic for me, it reminds me of my mom (who barely used perfume), security and warmth. Good longevity (nice sillage withing 5-6 hours and it stays longer on clothes). Try Before you buy.

Hmmm- interesting orange blossom fragrance! At first, the top notes create a smell that reminds me of bandaids and Calamine lotion- but as I get active, the orange blossom kicks in, and the accords blend beautifully into a coherent, sophisticated scent. that I'm beginning to really enjoy! It's funny, I got the same Calamine lotion vibe the first time that I tried La Chasse aux Papillons... it must be the type of orange blossom...

I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume as white flowers can be hit and miss for me, but the orangeflower is beautiful followed by glorious yang yang then a cedar base. It's very feminine, classy with good longevity, not overly floral and in your face I would quite happily wear this at work. I'm quite new to this house but it's very quickly becoming a favourite.

I just bought this perfume after testing it this summer. I had forgotten how amazing this perfume is!! It's so beautiful, I am enjoying it so much. It makes me feel like heaven, even if I enjoy it alone and get no positive comments (which I can't imagine) it's worth every cent! And that's alot of cents!!!

I like this a lot ... it’s like a classier version of Chanel 5 l’eau with extra creamy / powdery notes on top ! So well blended, no sharpness. All year round easy fragrance with that refinement touch, even if I think this scent would shine the best in spring / summer 🥰
