APOM Pour Homme

BACKGROUND: Francis Kurkdjian says this fragrance is meant to be a representation of the scent you leave behind on your lover after being with them intimately.... It's an interesting thought, but he's certainly not the first Parfumer to conjure this up. Roja Dove, for example did the same thing in the past.... Great minds do think alike :) APOM strikes me as being very very similar in DNA to another fragrance I recently blind bought based on the reputation of the House and the hype on the market and in the Frag community (Xerjoff, Kobe). Right off the bat, BOTH fragrances open up almost identical Yes guys, this is almost identical -a 95% carbon copy to Xerjoff's Kobe. Interestingly, Kurkdjian lists: Orange blossom, Cedar & Amber as his ONLY notes in this blend.... And yet, despite Kobe using far more: such as Styrax, Brazilian Rosewood, Tonka Bean, Labdanum.., etc- the two come out basically very close copies of each other after the blending process.... I dare to say, perhaps very few of us would be able to readily distinguish between the two in a blind, side-by-side comparison.... For me though, I detect certain nuances between the two: How so, the Brazilian Rosewood, Agarwood (Oud) and benjoin add certain subtle distinctions in Kobe.... Result? A beautiful creamy texture, supported by that vanilla-like, very gourmand appeal.... In the end, it can be illustration this way: two drivers set out on a journey to the same destination. One driver uses the expressway, while the other is content to use the back streets and side roads. Result? They inevitably arrive at the SAME destination, despite different routes..... The proof here is that Francis Kurkdjian lists Amber one of his 3 main notes, while Sergio Momo (Master Perfumer) utilizes the combination of benzoin with vanilla and labdanum to create that addictive accord of amber. CONCLUSION: BOTH GREAT fragrances, well-blended with distinct alluring phases... What it comes down to- Kobe brings a little bit MORE to the table and we rightly pay that added dollar for such luxury & performance. If you already own APOM, then I don't see the need at all to add Kobe and vice versa. However, if you have NEITHER, then I strongly suggest you fork out that extra $75 or so and get the Kobe... And as you indulge in its decadence, you'll see it's worth every penny it commands........

I put it as my signature fragrance, bumping French Lover; I like FL a bit more, but APOM is a go to, wearable, comfortable, and very enjoyable fragrance; one of MFK best and most unique compositions. There are light and dark aspects, so it reminds me of Lumiere Noire done with orange blossom vs rose. This has a little more edge to it than Lumiere Noire, which is smoother. APOM is about fragrance accords. Two or more notes combining to make a unique accord note, rather than the individual notes by themselves. There are synthetics with natural notes. The master at work here, FK. They dont give you a clear note breakdown. Yes, it opens with a strong floral presence, orange blossom, not neroli, and I do get the cedar; amber not so much... But then as Francis Kurkdijian does really well, he mixes masculine notes with the floral. So its a floral Oriental like Ciel de Gum. There may be patchouli here, with a touch of cinnamon, cummin, caraway perhaps, aroma chems.. When I first wrote my review, I hardly noticed the floral, when I saw the notes, I thought, oh yeah, I get it... This has an unusual bite/ sharpness to it. I can see this being a Summertime signature fragrance, but not over, say 85'. Its fresher than Ciel de Gum, and more masculine. This is very floral yet masculine, which is rare. This is like no other, it's subtle. I think many don't get it. There is an unusual spiciness, like an anamalic cummin? There is quite a bit of aroma chemicals, but does not smell synthetic in any cheap way. It makes it fresh, but not your typical citrus fresh. It may have a touch of citrus, but most of the freshness comes from the aldehydes or fresh spices. The cummin like vib, gives it a smell like your own skin may have. So it may smell like it's a part of you, APOM. This is reminding me of his J.P. Gaultier's Le Male collection, done with better quality, yet it is distinct. What he learned from Le Male and flankers, he has perfected here. I did add a bottle to a large collection I rarely now add to. I am glad I rediscovered APOM pour homme. Not good to over spray this one, the powerfull aldehydes or Artemisia become over powering and cloying. Just one spray in a few locations is best. Rating: 9/10 God bless. John 3:16

Not sure about all the mediocre to bad review. Don't really see a reason to dislike other than if orange blossom is not your thing, which I totally get although this has to be the best done orange blossom I have sniffed so far. I've smelled too many orange blossoms that are overpowering, and that I have to scrub off immediately unless I want an imminent headache. This isn't like that, it's impeccably blended and plays well with the amber in this concoction. It isn't linear either. While I appreciate MFK's simplistic approach, I can definitely smell many notes that are not reported. Maybe it's just the well done blending on this puppy, but I get hints of vanilla and caramel during the dry down, all along with the amber. Now I know I'm really selling this one, but it has it's flaws. The first time I wore it I hated it, and when I smelled it on paper I detected a note of burning plastic. I don't know what it is, maybe it's just my skin, but I can't smell this hideous note when I wear it. In fact, it's the least offensive thing I've ever smelled and although it does not come close to being my favorite bottle, it never fails to please those around me. In terms of similarities, I get a semblance of the ck comparisons mentioned here and elsewhere, but I personally don't find it similar at all. This might seem off to some noses, but I'm sitting here wearing MDCI's invasion barbare and to me it seems more similar to MDCI than ck (in the dry down, minus the intense lavender blast in MDCI). The longevity on this thing is beastly as well. It's a scent that seems to me to sit close to the skin, but I find myself sniffing it on my clothes/skin up to 24 hours later (from a single spray). One other thing to mention is that I initially had issues pegging this scent to an occasion. The scent lies somewhere between formal and casual and I've come to the conclusion that this makes it more versatile rather than shooting itself in the foot, but it depends on what you feel comfortable with. Bottom line- not the most interesting scent, but very safe, very complex and rich for something so safe, and very well performing as well as a bit expensive. Sample first, don't take my word for it.

As a big admirer of Francis Kurdjian work, this perfume has a big meaning to me. I struggled to have this one in my collection, and I finally have it:) When I holded a box in which was the perfume, I was spellbounded by two boxes, first box - big one with MFK inicals, and second - smaller one, with a perfume in it which comes out from that bigger box with golden interior...:) I wanted a perfume filled up with something animalistic, I wanted a smell of amber or musk with great silleage, longivity and above all, the perfume which smells great...I have found it all in this bottle (except the musk which can be forgotten because the amber replaces it perfectly). I have never imagined a smell of Lebanon like this, because this perfume is inspired by great master Kurkdjian's journey there. He captured oriental & sweet smell and also his emotions into this bottle. The perfume opens very ambery and has a very small hint of sweetness, but it has that crystalized amber. Opening of the perfume lasts prety long until all of the components have settled down. When it has developed, amber doesn't stand alone anymore. Orange and cedar are joining amber to add sweetness to the composition. That notes are making composition warm and rich. Someone would say that this perfume is slightly sweet, but I would say that a sweetness is the product of the specific amber note mixed up with the orange - the sweetness in APOM is not usual as in the other perfumes. Now...when it has fully developed, the composition is rounded with the amber that is always present and never leaves until the end. In the centre of the composition is orange with a touch of cedar. All of that makes a nice, warm, richfull scent which is made for cuddling...seductive & little bit animalistic and pleasent at the same time. The perfume has a biiig projection, silleage and a tremendeous longivity...it is classy, sophisticated, cozy..it is simply a piece of me:) I always see it as a perfume that will back me up in everything I do, it will come to others before I will. (Because of aura and intensity) It will ask others; Are you ready to get A Piece Of Me?

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" A famous well-known quote allegedly said by Da Vinci but the irony is that old Leo probably never said it at all. But hey, it makes a great wallpaper and it sure as hell is spot on for this symphony of notes. This fragrance truly shines in it's simplicity. All notes are instantly recognizable and so easy to identify making this nectar accessible and uncomplicated. None of this 60 notes blends crap where you can hardly pick up 3 or 4 true notes and personally I already like it just because of that. It makes my nose go 'hey - I recognize you' without deep frying my brain cells. APOM delivers a playful, cheerful and delicious fragrance through domination of high quality cedar and orange blossom notes. The amber is there to connect the dots and keep the entire composition sensual. Personally I find cedar an excellent material to combine with sweeter notes. There is something intelligent about it and this wooden touch provides just enough masculinity to keep it interesting and sexy through all the stages. In a way the vibe is highly similar to 'By Kilian - Straight to heaven' but then flowery instead of boozy. In fact this is the perfect pitstop between Straight to Heaven and Sweet redemption. And yes guys, this is flowery combined with woody so it's not the biggest alpha male scent out there but true alpha men change this into mysterious and adventurous. If you're comfortable with yourself you will treasure the comfort level of this fragrance. Longevity is average (4-5 hours) Projection is average Cum laude in uniting niche and wearibility and does it without a drop of sweat, if only the longevity would be amplified ... 8,5/10

Well here goes another MFK fragrance and I kinda know what to expect from these... unfortunately that something is disappointment. Well that's not fair at all because it's just that my expectations were so high...I want something from this house to come and smack me in the face and make me love it! (I think I'm close with Amyris Homme actually...oh and of course OUD...but I'm greedy and want more!!!) Each fragrance is expertly crafted and the subtlety is remarkable. Somehow Kurkdjian uses ingredients and concepts that don't appeal to me and manages to make them likable, APOM pour Homme is a prime example. Orange Blossom which to me is quite a complex note in and of itself, has a similar quality to neroli for me but with a hint of fruitiness and also something slightly rubbery and off putting. Having said that the unpleasantness takes a few minutes to develop to be fair the opening of this fragrance is stunning as was the last one I tried. The mixture of cedar perhaps gives this effect I don't know? The amber is a great match for the floral top notes of this fragrance and works very well in the composition. On paper again this seems a little simple and feminine but somehow isn't and manages to make great use of few notes to create something slightly more complex than the note breakdown suggests, again this is Kurkdjian squeezing every bit of character out of the different elements. The question is... would I wear this fragrance? No. Not to my taste... I think the price tag is high but if I liked it enough I wouldn't be perturbed. This has quality and if you like white floral and specifically orange blossom this is probably the most finessed fragrance you can get.

I loved Lumiere Noir Homme, a masterpiece composition, the best male rose frag out there. I have tried about 7 other MFK fragrances and mostly dissapointed, looking for another great fragrance to ad to a complete colection. I had some hope for APOM Homme. Yes it is a very nice orange blossom, and it's not feminine like most all the unisex MFK frags I have tried. I have Seville L'Aube by L'Artisan Perfumers by Bertrand Duchaufour. It has a green, quality Orange blosom, but blended with beeswax, balsamic notes, a much nicer, beautiful men's orange blosom edp frag, that can be found discounted on eBay for $80/100 ml. What MFK is doing with a lot of his fragrances that are not very unique except for Lumiere Noir, he takes very popular marketable fragrances, like Lutens Chergui or Chanel Bleu, or Egoist Platinum, Amber Absolu, and making a better quality, more refined fragrance that has a very similar vib to very popular and recognizable fragrances to the fragrance community. Absolu Pour Le Soir is an exceptional, refined amber fragrance, maybe the only one I would consider purchasing. It is very much like Sahara Noir, and TF Amber Absolu... So this house is doing clever marketing and making a lot of money, but I am not impressed with the creativity. Francis can come up with extraordinary and beautiful fragrances, but he is a master perfumer, who has great blending and quality notes. The only knock I have is that he has played it safe with most of his releases. Maybe in future years he will make another masterpiece like Lumiere Noir Homme, and I will be waiting for it, but for now I am done looking at MFK. Rating: 7/10 Merry Christmas. John 3:16

One of my favourite floral fragrances. APOM is what made me really fall in love with orange blossom. It is a fairly straightforward fragrance. I hardly get any cedar, and listing amber is a bit of a stretch as well. I get some ambery sweetness, predominantly benzoin, so don't expect a full-on amber experience. The simplicity allows the orange blossom to shine, and shine it does. It's a little powdery but not stuffy, sweet but not sickly, sensitive and delicate but not feminine. There's a soapiness here as well. While neroli scents have a vivid cleanness, like a bar of soap, orange blossom is much softer, like a liquid or foamy soap. In reality this is a unisex fragrance, despite what the label says. What I love about APOM is that the sweetness is unlike anything else. It's not sugary like honey or vanilla - the sweeteners most men are used to. There's such a natural sweetness which is slightly green, white floral and watery. Try and picture an incredibly natural bubblegum. It's like nectar in fragrance form. The performance is average, but I don't mind. If you're a man who has written off floral fragrances, maybe give this a try. But if you're someone who likes something like Reflection Man, can get along with neroli and iris, and wants to explore more, this is a must-try. Orange blossom is a note everyone needs to sample. I like it a lot, potentially bottle-worthy. Maybe even a love - we'll see. (dislike/indifferent/like, but not BW/like a lot, potentially BW/love, definitely BW/masterpiece)

I often read comments and reviews from men stating that they dislike certain floral dominant scents for being what they perceive as too feminine. This fragrance is one of them and unfortunately the concept of men wearing floral fragrances is still controversial to many. For reasons beyond my understanding, even a lot of women I know will turn their noses up at the very mention of a floral perfume. A close friend of mine swears she hates florals, but frequently wears Chanel's Coco (seriously). These same women will quite literally throw themselves at me just to inhale the scent of fragrances like APOM pour homme (orange blossom), Lumière Noire pour homme (rose) or Dior Homme Intense (iris). When I state that they're smelling a floral fragrance, they usually appear genuinely shocked. A floral that smells good...On a man? As we all know, these floral notes are extremely obvious to pretty much any fragrance enthusiast, but to the common nose, they likely won't even link it to their often outdated concept of what constitutes a modern, wearable floral perfume. Yes, flowers can smell fantastic. With APOM, I occasionally receive remarks along the lines of "Oh my God. You smell SO good. What is that?" It's a strange thing when you try to understand the perceptions of the masses, but I love challenging such perceptions.

Man, this is a good one! I've ordered another sample pack and went through them within a few minutes. Oud? Meh.. BR540? Meh.. This? YES! It starts off with a bunch of floral notes and I immediately get the orange blossom. It's very soft, yet extremely beautiful. Slightly woody but just a hint of it. The amber later comes through a little more but it stays fairly floral but not in a super feminine way. One thing that immediately, without hesitation, came to my mind: The scent of buildings in the middle east. If you've ever been in a mall or hotel in Dubai, you know what I'm talking about. It smells like this sandalwood-spice-mix that they're burning everywhere to give everything a very nice, soft oriental scent. This just reminds me of that, even though the notes don't really match. Anyway, I find this absolutely amazing. Not sure where people get the old people vibe or even saliva from it? I find it extraordinary, amazing and oriental - and I feel like that's really a piece of Maison Francis Kurkdijan, so good job on that! In fact I'd even go as far as saying that this will be a full bottle purchase very soon. It's right on top with my two other favorites: Grand Soir and Oud Satin Mood.

Well, that's good news it's being re released at end of year... I saw a 2024 bottle of APOM Homme (pre release) now on sale on Mercari. I'm glad I bought a bottle when it was still on market. I may have reviewed this many years ago, but I'm really enjoying it today.. It's similar to Le Male and Reflection Man but better. It's more spicy and soapy. They are not listing many of the notes here. In the open you get a nice pencil shavings cedar note, with orange blossom (not neroli) with the Kurkdjian spices, Cumin most likely. Remenisant of his legendary fragrance Le Male. There may be a touch of aldehydes as well. You have a slightly sweet amber and a nice creamy musk in the dry down. Beastly longevity. Overall it's very simple, unique and enjoyable. Like a part of me, APOM. PS: I found my review from 2016. I gave it a 7/10 rating, and was not impressed. Now having a large collection of Areej le Doré and and some of the truly best fragrances in the world. I can say this is very very good for a niche fragrance. Rating: 8.25/10 God bless. John 3:16

I have been sampling samples since last June, both designer and niche. Most of the fragrances I have sampled haven't left much of an impression, either good or bad. Then there is APOM Pour Homme. Wow!! Immediately I was taken with this beautiful fragrance. The opening note I got was a soft orange blossom that only smelled slightly sweet. Soon the amber and the cedar notes join in. Amber seems to be the dominate note but it's a light amber that doesn't steal the show. The way the amber interacts with the cedar and orange blossom actually smells like suede to me. I'm reminded of ELDO's Tom of Finland. APOMPH however is much more subtle. It doesn't have the challenging notes as TOF does, especially the latex. APOMPH is one of the very few fragrances that does not synthetic when I smell it up close on my skin. Excellent longevity and projection on this one. Right now I'm sitting on a park bench in the late afternoon sun in mid October. Such a perfect fragrance for a perfect autumn day. APOMPH is now on the top of my short list. I LOVE this stuff!

The first thing I thought of when I smelled this: velvet. It is a bit heavy, smooth, sexy but not flashy, quality but in a robust no-nonsense way. Also it has a lot of sweetness which on my skin gets stronger as time passes. It is also a rather linear scent: on my skin it does not change much for a long time apart from the progressing sweetness. Sillage was moderate (which I prefer) and longevity definitely on the better side but not incredible, it lasted for the day. This is absolutely a unisex scent. In fact I can imagine more women getting attracted to this scent as it gets so sweet in the later stages which seems to be connected with feminine scents these days. But would also be sexy on a man with a sweet tooth and an urge for smooth leathery scents! APOM probably costs more than the experience I got out of it is worth as it was good but not unique. Conclusion: a sweet, sexy (and overpriced) unisex scent.

Tek tek ayrintiya belki sonra girebilirim ama ilk tespitim hepsinin oldukca başarılı oldugu. Hicbiri rahatsiz etmedi, ucuz yada basit kokan yok. 8 in in arasinda aklimada en belirgin kalan ise Apom oldu. Notalari nedeniyle hafif bir "eski" havasi olsa da eski degil, eskiye saygili bir "yeni" havasi var. Kullanimi cok keyifli, ilk 1-2 saat kuvvetli, 6 saatin sonunda kaybolma noktasina geliyor. Kumas uzerinde 12 saati bulabiliyor. Her yasa uygun, her mevsime yakisir. Sanirim Kurkdjian a bundan sonra daha fazla ilgi göstermek gerekecek.

To be fair I look back at my review of this posted 2013 (but likely written sometime before that) and I'm amazed by how my tastes have changed but my appraisal of this scent even then, was pretty positive, despite really not liking orange blossom all that much. I was 'stunned' by the opening apparently and now I'm just stunned by the entire fragrance. Yet still something about orange blossom is slightly cloying and here clinging onto the warmth of the resinous base beneath it works perfectly. Kurkdjian is a master of this white floral stuff and APOM evokes the classic French and North African influences pretty perfectly. This is a summery, fresh fragrance but has a cosy warm heart, and as a convert to orange blossom I have a new found appreciation for the stuff and this fragrance.

I just love it. This is one of those rare scents that I just don't care of what the notes are. To me this is a great composition and it find it really well balanced. It is flowery, but what I smell it's just a luminous, refreshing, sensual fragrance. One of those perfumes you can either wear in formal clothes or casual...it gives both of the kinds a bit of the other. This is for a person who enjoys life and likes to go out. I never wear it when I have to stay home, I have to perfumes I like to smell on me when I'm relax. This perfume is a statement to me. ''I wanna go out, have fun, and, yes, feel sexy, yet classy'' Long lasting and pretty good sillage: I get used to it really quickly, but people are always making compliments when I wear it (I only spray it twice).

Mfk Apom pour Homme (2009) - orange blossom amber - Discontinued. #franciskurkdijan creates the perfume that got me interested to know more about the brand. A lovely play between cologne elements mixed with an oriental accord. Starts with a bright yet creamy Orange Blossom accord - one of the most beautiful citrus opening in perfumery. But it doesn’t stop there, it morphs to show its spiced-heart - pepper, cumin, and anise. Not as animalic as Eau d’hermes or Fleur d’Oranger, but definitely not a boring citrus clean musk. The heart and drydown has a modern amber accord - golden, spiced and interesting. The orange blossom cologne accord comes out every now and then, brought by carefully chosen white musks - making it balanced and versatile.

Simply perfect! Clean, warm, elegant and somehow sexy fragrance. A reference masterpiece of talented F.Kurkdjian. Soapy-powdery quality of sharp orange flower and soft-sweet warmness of amber combined outstandingly perfect here. There's slight traces of lavender coming to my nose. And the ambery base is like an attractive skin smell under the sun, sometimes you get the "honeyed" sweetness also. Cedar gives just enough amount of woodiness and restrain the whole sweetness of the composition. Very balanced and timeless design which i will keep it with me for my whole life. Refined, subtle and epic beauty for me! P.S. This perfume was custom made for the CEO of the MFK company first, but then they decided to put it in the collection.

This, in my opinion, is MFK's best fragrance. It is such a sophisticated, fresh, and masculine scent, that works all year round, on any occasion. It can best be described as an amber floral, enriched with orange blossoms and woody elements, but some how reminiscent of shaving foam. I can see why this version was originally discontinued as the musk has animalic nuances, which may not have appealed to everyone. However, in my opinion its this musk that enhances its masculinity. The re-release doesn't have this and it actually leans towards the feminine, particularly with the overwhelming incorporation of ylang-ylang and vanilla, which I find totally feminine and unappealing.

Oh man.... you know when someone comes up with a seemingly random, wacky, out of nowhere scent association that is somehow so right on and true that its all you can think about in regards to a fragrance? When a reviewer below said that APOM smelled like Saliva ( he actually wrote high-quality Saliva which is an interesting distiction because it connotes a lover's saliva) I thought oh no, he's kind of right. Alot of people seem to think this has a "lovers bed" or post-sex feel because of the amber creating a warm skin vibe, but to me i get a warm saliva ,kissing for hours aroma. Am I crazy? Maybe but there is at least one other crazy on this site who agrees.

I know this is technically labeled a "man's" fragrance but to my nose it passes as unisex. Both of MFK's Apom's are amazing, but I tend to favor the Homme over the Femme, even though they are very smiliar in notes. My skin does very well with amber and the drydown of the Homme smells amazing. It is no where near what I call a masculine scent and smells very feminine on me, but I can also see a woman liking this on a man because of how great it smells. My husband tried it on and he did say it smells more feminine than's he's used to. I really enjoyed this fragrance and wouldn't mind having it in my collection.

Who would think the simplistic construction of three notes could create such a romance? Clean crisp cedar, honey-like orange blossom and a rich, warm amber that smells as if it were rubbed vigorously between the perfumer's hands before being placed in the bottle. Despite APOM's basic composition, it is full-bodied and affluent with parfum strength. This may be a horizontal formula, however I'm under the impression that there are base notes of class, sophistication and elegance absolute. Whomever you come into contact with while intimately bound to this fragrance, will certainly be left with a piece of you.

This one is all about orange blossom,amber and cedar though they are blended together seamlessly. I sprayed a shot to my chest and both wrists and have been enveloped in a halo of warm orange blossom amber. It is warm and slightly sweet and powdery and has the same ethereal nature as LNPH but this projects more and I have gotten about nine hours plus and it's still going. This scent really is heavenly and it seems to blossom on the skin. It gives you a rich seductive glow and the woods seem to make the scent more masculine by deepening the feeling of the amber/orange blossom.

A part of me, that's the real name of APOM, for those saying "A piece of me". For me, APOM was a real event of "love at first sight"... It's, hands down, the best floral fragrance for men among every other on shelves. As a floral, amber and woodsy notes lover, discovering APOM PH was such an incredible and remarkable experience. The coziness sensation that it gives me, alas... Unetterable! Unique fragrance!!! Amazing one from MFK, and by now, the best from the house, IMO. APOM have already become "a part of me"! Mad longevity though. Overall: 10 out of 10.

I hate the feeling after having tested a completely new scent and thinking; damn this is not new, i have had a similar scent before but then you cannot figure out which scent. This one is a floral and sweet scent at the begging. It smells really good and I also get some dirty vibes once it has dried down which is somwhat similar to leather oud from the house of Dior. I think this one is more wearable for office or school compared to Dior. I still dont think I will invest in a full bottle though. Scent:8.5/10 Projection: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10

Masterpiece fragrance from FK, I bought this one year ago in Kuala Lumpur, after smelling tens of perfumes, APOM is the one that truly shinned. I got many compliments, and even if it doesn't seem to be a compliment getter, many said that it's a signature-worthy fragrance. The composition is Phenomenal, the bubbling orange blossom on a bed of amber makes this a very simplistic, yet nuanced perfume. The aura it creates is alluring, rich, and deep. Performance-wise extraordinary. Let's sign a petition so that MFK relaunches it !

A perfect example of a juxtaposed fragrance. The lightness of the neroli is well blended with the heavy amber accord and an added wood notes (not specifically cedar) i sprayed this around 2pm, then 4am in the morning i was awakened by the sillage on my arm. It performs like an edp. The ambery drydown is approachable and not disgusting like the drydown of heavy perfumes. This smells very french but modern. It has seduction from the amber and the freshness of the neroli.

APOM by Francis Kurkdjian is a true masterpiece! I decided to wear it yesterday (Sunday)and I am so glad I did. The opening is a beautiful orange citrus blast that just knocked me off my feet. So elegant, refined and masculine. If you really like "orange notes" this is THE fragrance to buy. It is "sunshine" in a bottle. It lasts and lasts, I got many compliments. Worth every single penny. Thank you Francis Kurkdjian for creating this beautiful composition.

Idk whose breath you’re smelling, but if that’s what they smell like then I’ll gladly stick my nose in their mouths. All kidding aside, white floral notes - including orange blossom - can definitely come off as indolic. So maybe that’s why (plus the factor of skin chemistry-I often struggle with gourmands:/) but on me this smells nice and well blended. It’s like a happy relaxing scent with something classic to it.

Nice perfume. As most of the MFK's. The opening lasts only 5 to 10 minutes and that's very sad because it's impressively colorful. You get it straight ahead, what the scent will be like, but with the second (and the last) phase there's less amusement. It gets a little bit generic... like a quite cheap shaving foam. In fact it reminds me Blue Stratos, only more rounded and distinctive. Still, I like it a lot.

APOM, wow, I mean how could MFK discontinue this gem. It is so simple yet very complex, it creates a beautiful amber aura, with hints of ultra-natural orange blossom. Excellent for tropical climats, a true masterpiece, my favorite from the brand. very good performance as always with Kurkdjian's creations. A PART OF ME is signature scent worthy, I got compliments from trained noses. 10/10.

APOM PH basically consists of three notes- orange blossom, amber and cedar but with the exceptional talent and skill of Mr. Kurkdjian, he managed to create yet another masterpiece.. APOM PH is a floral powdery scent with the comforting base of amber.. It is clean, natural smelling but with depth that's never too loud or heavy.. It is persistent and projects just right!

I agree with the comment that mention the similarity to Amouoage Reflection Man. I had Amouage, and now have APOM homme, and it is almost the same, very same. I looked for the net if anybody noticed this and found one blog on basenote. Many pepople did not found it similar but it is do the same! Of course very pleasant fragrance.

I just have a tester of this amazing fragrance. It’s amazing 🤩 the opening of the African Orange Flower is heavenly and than dries down to this beautiful well blended and smoothly balanced of the citrus and bit of sweet Amber. Although it’s for a men a woman can rock this! PLEASE kindly recommend me a similar scent. 💜

APOM Pour Homme by Kurkdjian is a floral masculine perfume. The mail accords are Orange Flower, Amber and Cedar. Those people who are interested in "Amouage Refection" would like this magnificent masterpiece. This lovely product is a 4 season perfume for daily usage with great longevity and projection.

Kurkdijian's best floral for men. He is the master when it comes to formulating a very floral fragrance, and still making it quite masculine; as with Le Male series, Lumiere Noire etc They are not listing all the notes here; With the African Orange blossom, you get some dark spicy, musky notes.

This fragrance is in a league of it’s own. People voting saying it smells like Gaultier2, it doesn’t, it smells like the Eau d’Amour version. That was released the year before this came along and both are brilliant. Amazing use of orange flower. One of the sexiest fragrances I’ve ever smelt.

for som reason it is warmer and not citrusy on me; has a good longevity; great for the fall, but can work in summer and winter too. after a day it leaves you with the combination of floral and woody scents, at least on me. it has very intimate feeling.love cedar in it.

I put a sample of this on my left hand before a Christmas party and I got a compliment from almost everyone I talked to. I think it smells very good but this is one of them crowd pleasing scents that others like more than me. Super longevity and projection. 9/10

APOM is a masterpiece!! So elegant but at the same time sillage is very good, it feels like you got wrapped by smooth natural amber, cedar and orange blossom. Nothing is synthectic here. Charming and so sexy, no wonder APOM is a part of master Kurkdjian.

I discovered my love for orange blossom thanks to this fragrance Witchcraft is an accurate description of this fragrance, it's truly magical. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative try (yves saint Laurent l'homme parfum intense) it's very good

All about the orange flower with a touch of amber. Right on the line of masculine and feminine. Strong and long lasting, a great spring time signature fragrance. I love it, but if you do not like the note of orange flower, you may not like this.

Its like Petit Matin but warm and slightly sweetened. Its nice and elegant and inoffensive. The dry down reminds me of Reflection Man, they're nowhere near the same scent, but they share the same vibe.

I simple note tree which works very well indeed. Pretty unisex for a masculine fragrance. Excellent longevity (around 10 hours or more). This actually really reminds me of Amouage Reflection Man.

This is very elegant. Very vintage. It is creamy, cozy, easy to wear and like. It reminds me of something old but also contemporary.. I really loved it once it opened up. Very very good 9/10

Quite linear. Extremely high quality "barbershop soap" fragrance. Not my taste. Too ""heeeeey!" for the night and really cold winter. Easily likeable by anyone but not sexy or sumn like that

I Fell in love with this one very fast. I know it's not listed but I smell Fig and Opium in this. it feels light but manages to fill your sinuses in a very pleasing way. my current favorite

Very natural woody cedar underneath what must be the orange blossom joined later by a spicy, dry amber. Orange spicy amber. Smells fabulous! Great sillage and longevity! I need a decant.

Just bought a new bottle. Previous bottle purchased in 2010. Has it been reformulated?? The floral are significantly toned down and the cedar seems to be more pronounced.
