If you want a perfume that screams your presence an hour before you arrive then look elsewhere. However, if you want a scent that announces you perfectly with the aplomb, class and dignity of a distinguished and accomplished individual, read on; Gentle fluidity silver is by no means a powerhouse and certainly isn't something that will cause an olfactory assault..... ....what it is for me though is the most composed, balanced and adequately exquisite everyday fragrance I've encountered. It's got that little bit of magic, like Messi, a Porsche 911, a Cartier Tank and apparently a Hermes bag of some kind! 😞 There's a time and a place for most scents but this one is a rare breed that bucks that trend and will truly excel from the gym to the office or just out for a family day, it'll also standout at any special event too. This marvelous blend offers a mix of freshness, aromatics and woods with a beautiful tail end of powdery musky heaven and just a touch of vanilla. All this and a gorgeous metallic nuance running alongside the whole journey of the wear, I imagine it's the gin like juniper berry that offers this uniqueness! For me, the only person that has to enjoy any fragrance is the person wearing it, if others like it and feel like they want to comment then that's nice but not important for any sane and rational person! Fortunately for some of you, GFS seems to compel people to come close for a better sniff and ask what your wearing! I'm not really sure why this is the case above any other perfume I've ever worn! I actually find it a little unnerving when someone unknown or unfamiliar gets in my personal bubble.😬 The quality is irreproachable, probably why this scent seems to drift and waft for hours in an ethereal manner. It's truly a piece of high end craft and like most Maison Francis kurkdjian fragrances it's bordering on art! Performance is good, just around or above average. Initially a couple of meters on application but within a short while it settles to a classy and comfortable arms length with a sillage that seems to be around a KM long, how is that possible! It'll stay like this for 5-6 hours or so before becoming more intimate and noticeable only to yourself and others up close. I have a lot of fragrances and have tried many more but this one hit me as a signature scent if there is such a thing! It has just enough of everything and a little more in most areas, one of those rare moments in life when you or something you experience will become a "before and after" from this moment forward. This is something I've been lucky enough to have experienced with fragrance once or twice before over many years and once again its benchmarked new standards or comparisons on this neverending olfactory adventure. In fact, Ive put my money where my mouth is and purchased a 200ml bottle. Something I've never done before! I'm able to just about afford it if I rein it in for a bit and sacrifice a couple of other unnecessary luxury purchases......like food 😂 (kidding, see below)! I generally only review products that I'm mostly positive about, a "like" at a minimum as I think there is enough negativity in the world already and hate adding to that. Also, what I dislike many of you will adore, as it should be! In this particular case it's hard to find any negatives at all when wearing this fragrance, perhaps just a few minor nitpicks for balance then! 😏 As mentioned, performance is elegantly satisfying but I guess we'd always like more! Especially at the price....... ....and on to my final issue. We know quality costs (usually) and this fragrance is immediately identifiable as top tier perfumery but bloody hell, it is pricey! However, I'll say it again. This perfume is wonderful in my world but please try it before taking the plunge and bringing it into yours. Every scent should be tested before parting with your hard earned cash regardless of price, but it's not always possible. If that's the case, please don't spend this amount of money unless you are positive you can afford it and are absolutely sure you'll wear it and get the use out of it. For many of us it's a stretch to make ends meet let alone buy high end luxuries at the moment! That's a shame for true perfume lovers who won't be able to experience this product and similar offerings of course but seriously, the basics need to be taken care of first and I'll never buy anything if my family and I require anything deemed as essential. That is and always will be the standard to which I hold myself, non negotiable. Having said the above, if you can confidently and comfortably push the budget to acquire Gentle fluidity silver, not only are you luckier than most but will be privileged to have something quite special, unique and truly excellent.

It reminds me of an elevated, much more enjoyable version of the "blue" fragrances I've tried, like Versace Dylan Blue or Dior Sauvage. "Generic" isn't necessarily a bad thing - this fragrance is different but predictable in all the right ways. Gentle Fluidity Silver's dry-down is even sweeter, with a fruity, berry note poking through that somehow matches the spices perfectly. It's aromatic and incredibly pleasant, retaining its freshness while also morphing in a very enjoyable way. For upwards of $200 from various discounters for a 70ml bottle of this fragrance, it is certainly overpriced, especially for what it is. Still, this may be the only fresh fragrance I've smelled and immediately considered purchasing. It is really good, just not at all unique and way too expensive.

I would disagree with those who call this strictly an office scent. It's a lovely, defined but not too loud, masculine leaning neutral scent, making it suitable for all occasions, including but not limited to office jobs. This smells clean but not in a "just got out of the shower" way, more like almost metallic clean if anything. Maybe it's the name playing games on me, but I really feel like if liquid metal was a scent, this could be it somewhat. Notes wise, I can tell apart juniper berries – it's almost like a combination of plums and something like pine needles, a little pineapple, and definitely something woody at the bottom, making it just a touch barbershoppy, but not too much. It's grown on me the several times I've worn it – I've considered it too boring and without character, but I'm now thinking that maybe it's okay, and you don't always need to smell like an emotion, sometimes you just need to smell nice, making it a perfect no-brainer to put on whenever you're not sure to wear. Performance wise, it's not great – I'd say 2-3 hours of arm length projection until it's a skin scent and 2 more until it's gone completely. So it's hard to justify the price.

Its fresh, sharp opening settles into a smooth, clean fragrance that subtle, yet present and it remains this way with excellent longevity, lasting days on clothes, but in a pleasant and subtle sense, so much so that if you changed fragrances later in the day, the clean minimalist aspect of this is unlikely to clash with anything. Will never not have this one in my collection.

On my skin at least I really do get sweet fresh pineapple and a hint of vanilla, which I don't mind at all.

I saved GFS for a work trip to Hong Kong, and it turned out to be the perfect setting. To me, this is the scent of a crisp white shirt, freshly ironed and folded in a cool, clean room after a shower. It is pure elegance in the form of freshness. The opening is bright and sharp with juniper berries, almost like a chilled gin cocktail, smoothed out by nutmeg and a hint of citrus. There is a herbal, fruity sweetness that never dominates but blends seamlessly into the composition. As it develops, the musk takes center stage. It is sensual, clean, and refined, layered with ambery woods that give it both depth and structure. Nothing feels out of place everything is blended to perfection. I love how refreshing yet luxurious this feels. It is understated but leaves a clear impression, the kind of fragrance that makes you feel put together without trying too hard. For me, it is perfect and well deserved within the MFK collection.

Fragrance Journal Entry #26 To start off i can confidently say this is the best from the house of MFK. This fragrance isn't as complex as his other compositions but it isn't trying to be. This stuff opens up with super bright citruses and juniper berries backed up by a soft herbaciousness and this sort of metallic gin & tonic accord. The result of all that is this gorgeous easy to wear daily mens scent. It smells incredibly expensive (& it is) but if you're looking for the perfect signature scent thats classy and elegant without being too mature then it's worth the money. I think it's also worth noting this is one of those fragrances that will likely never be replicated or cloned as a 1:1 so you can trust you will stand out. I don't often recommend blind buying something this expensive but for this one i'd say just pull the trigger. Rating: 10/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

GFS is a pretty unique masculine fragrance...first, lets be clear, there is no discernible amount of bergamot in this fragrance...even more preposterous, pineapple is simply not present in this perfume whatsoever... On to the opening....this composition opens with a blend of juniper, nutmeg, and coriander...the melange produces a rather interesting/peculiar aroma...on the one hand, there is a coniferous/piney nuance...on the other, there is almost a copper pipe nuance (“in the best way possible”)...these two nuances come together in an odd, yet satisfying, way...the fragrance is further supported by a subtle woodiness, a pronounced clean muskiness, and a generous dose of ambroxan....the finished product is both odd, yet perfectly masculine & mass appealing...has an almost 007 vibe to it...a winner

Clean. Sterile. Metallic/silver. Inoffensive. Masculine. Slightly mature. One of the best masculine fragrances on the market for something safe, inoffensive, clean. This can be a daily wear scent. You could wear this for anything. Probably not the best choice for the cold, but all other seasons are good. The man wears this scent, not the other way around. I'd imagine this is how a doctor with a private practice smells. Clinical, yet comforting. Assuringly (yet not intrusively) masculine. Or maybe an architect would wear this. Organized, yet beautiful. Nothing excessive. Nothing out of place. Yet defined. Confident. If a man was looking to just buy one fragrance, for general use, I would tell them to seriously consider making it this one if he lives in a relatively warm climate.

Very reminescant of something i have smelled before, but i cannot put my finger on it. The first time I tried it, I found it a little uninteresting. But something kept drawing me back. Its a fragrance that really grows on you, its very addicting in a way. Super super clean fragrance with a nuance of that "fresh spicy" that just gives it a little bit more sophistication and nuance than regular clean fragrances to me. I really really love this DNA, and it perfectly captures the energy i want to project (effortless soft sophistication in a modern way) while being high-heat safe. I get the same overall sophistication and vibe as with Luna Rossa Black, but in a completely different DNA. A DNA that is safe for summer and high heat. Its amazing. Love+

Gentle Fluidity Silver. Just by the name, it holds a unique and luxurious scent that leaves a fresh and pleasing trail as you walk in a cold or hot environment. This is an honest opinion and I'm gonna describe it along with its compliment factor. It's the first time I wore this today. Just 4 sprays are enough to cover yourself with that amazing and feel good smell, especially with the nutmeg and juniper berries combo. I got a compliment on the first day, and it's 5 hours passed already! The longevity and sillage is unbeatable. It can last long up to 8-10 hours. I can guarantee you, this is different form all the perfumes you've smelled. The price point won't be a problem if you're in love with it. Well done, Francis Kurkdjian.

This is my signature scent—I think it’s perfect in every way. It’s not too overpowering, yet not too weak. From reading other reviews, I believe the longevity and projection are underrated compared to what many people claim. While I do think it’s a bit overpriced, nothing beats the scent itself. The moment I tried it, I fell in love. I get a fair number of compliments when I wear it, though not as many as with some of my stronger fragrances. In terms of performance, it lasts a solid 7 hours and projects to people within an arm’s length, which I find ideal not overbearing at all. I typically use 3–4 sprays and wear it almost daily. I’m nearly out of my 2.4 oz bottle and will definitely be purchasing the 6.7 oz next.

Incredible. Oozes luxury. Opens with a sensational ''cold'' like scent that is both refreshing and invigorating with its fresh and herbal like touch. If you like Creed Aventus and Nishane Hacivat, you will love this too. It smells extremely close to those but with its own touch. The way this fragrance hits the skin and starts to work it's magic and radiate and develop is almost top notch. Not many fragrances can do what it does. It really captures your attention and is just extremely pleasant. This is one of those neck breakers, 100%. A must sniff for true fragrances heads, no way around it. Big thumbs up. Another bottle added to the dream collection... pending transaction haha.

This is the greatest fragrance ever created. It has two lives and both last insanely long. First life is sharp, bright and a subtle sweetness , but it lives up to the 'silver' in it's name. This first part is very aromatic, airy and insanely high in quality and blends. The second life is a rounded creaminess with the subtle sweetness still lingering. The second phase makes it smell like Laundry Detergent from paraside itself. It has the same creaminess as Allure Homme Sport, but much more refined and better in quality. Everyone will stop you and ask what the hell you're wearing...gatekeep this!! Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 9.5/10 Overall: 10/10 Full A's!

You can't get any cleaner than with this one. Smells like fresh and clean laundry that has just dried out and is ready to be worn. I can't agree with the scent being "sterile" though, as few people below have mentioned. I'd say it's very clean but it doesn't smell overly sterile. I think they get it just about right to be fresh, clean, not intrusive, and very inviting. Sillage is rather moderate, but longevity is very good for a freshie; on my skin, it sits at least 7 hours. I'd recommend using it in spring and summer and maybe early autumn. If you want to smell clean and luxurious, you can't go wrong with MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver

Just picked up a bottle of this after some full wears. Definitely a very fresh gin and tonic profile with a clean sheets feeling mixed in. Very airy pleasant smell with good sillage and longevity from 2 sprays. Slightly masculine but anyone and any age could wear it. Great for outdoor activities or office everyday. Definitely a signature style scent I will probably rotate with Aventus, imagination etc. It is kind of like PDM Sedley with a gin note instead of sprite and a bit less woody dry down to my nose. In the deep drydown it also reminds me a bit of my Creed GIT. Banger of a scent and decent value from a great perfumer. 9/10

Metallic-Ambery, distinctive, long lasting with great sillage all day long. All these qualities have vanished from the current formulations when at the same time from what I remember from the initial £165, no we are in the territory of £185 (soon 10gbp up) with a more and more softened version of the original formula impression. Same fate for Baccarat Rouge 540 original medicinal, resinous quality substituted by the applications of ethyl maltol and synthetic musks to appeal every one. I am worried about this brand now. Add to that Lumiere Noire pour homme is gone too, I have personally lost interest in Francis works.

No Aventus, Bvlgari Tygar, Elysium Roja, Baccarat 540, Orion, Layton, Green Irish Tweed. This is my most comforting, complimented and long lasting fragrance I have ever smelled. The master of a amber + ambroxan without beying a Dior Sauvage. Sweet and salty in the best equilibrium. A fragrance that is worth every penny and must have a 200 ml bottle. It's for all seasons. If an artist creates a peace of art like Baccarat 540, surely efforts to exceed expectations are common. This, for me, is the most incredible fragrance I have ever smelled in my life. Run before it gets hyped and overpriced. A 10+++ fragrance.

Just fantastic. Makes me think of luxurious clean laundry that caught a breeze from a nearby magical forest. Unique yet safe at the same time, I’d be comfortable wearing this under almost any circumstance. Others have described it well, it’s not overly loud but definitely hangs around. “Clean” is the most common descriptor I’ve gotten from others who I’ve let try it. I don’t smell much of a metallic note either. Overall easily a personal favorite. The price obviously may be a turn away for some, but I’m willing to pay a little extra for something so versatile.

Absolutely gorgeous scent! Despite its being unisex, on a woman it a lot more complex and intricate (imho). Smells like a celebratory gin and tonic on a terrace of a closed club after a successful meeting. Been my signature scent for years now and honestly, I refuse to put into a “summer”/ “winter” category. On a summer day, it’ll be reflecting in sophisticated citrusy fresh notes which will be fitting whether you go: night out, office, travelling. During cold time of the year, it’ll be giving more of a metallic hints, which is a perfect “snow queen” vibe.

To me, this feels like a fresher, slightly ambery take on Ormonde Jayne Levant. On skin, it opens metallic, musky, sharp, soapy, fresh, and subtly ambery. On clothes, it turns softer and more Levant-like—floral, musky, and lightly powdery. A luxurious, classy niche-meets-designer scent that leans ~80% feminine, yet men can easily pull it off in summer. The musky, powdery dry-down is beautiful and refined. Performance is average to slightly above, but the scent quality makes it 100% worth trying. Scent: 8.75/10 Performance: 8/10 Price: 7.5/10 Must-try.

With a name like Gentle Fluidity Silver, I can get away with this review: Clinical dry sterile medicinal herbal vintage doctor metallic I'm glad I love this. However I don't agree with people calling it some crystalline mass appealing freshie. Instead, it's got a huge old school, herbal vibe to me. Lastly, here's a strange side note: I have no idea why, but I catch a nice whiff of tobacco or cigarettes every now and then. I don't smoke but I like it! Lol It lasts forever, and then some. Edit: As time goes on, I recognize this as a masterpiece. 10/10

big fan of clean fresh scents, ive tried a decent bit and this one is by far my favorite, so pleasing and unnoffensive, impossible to overspray, doesnt have a strong floral note like most "laundry" scents also does NOT have a SOAPY vibe, its not a shower gel fresh, think of smelling ur aboslute favorite fresh-out-the-dryer clothes scent, i could not imagine someone disliking this unless your a gourmand fan, which obviously its the complete opposite, its just pure clean, 9/10 only because it may fade quick in cold weather, it shines in heat

The opening is super unique. Definitely gin and tonic vibes. Then not long after, the dry down is money. It's a luxurious clean and almost soapy or laundry smelling fragrance. The ladies love it. Gotten told it's sexy and had others ask what am I wearing cause it's so damn good. They knew it smelled expensive and they weren't a fragrance junkie but could tell it was of high quality. The clean musk with woody amber and vanilla is just amazing. I'll always keep this in my collection.

Clean, airy, metallic, and cold. When I first spray this the first thing I get is the juniper berry. It makes the scent smell cold in a way which sounds odd, but if you've tried this you'll understand. I don't notice any pineapple really, although I wish I did. Perfect daily/office scent since it's inoffensive, but go light on the sprays. I usually get 8-10 hours with decent performance on 3 or 4 sprays. In the spring and summer I'll definitely put a solid dent in my bottle. 9/10

Crack cocaine, but bottled. One sniff and you will end up beholden to this fragrance. You will be at work, wondering what your MFK Gentle Silver is up to. You will want to build a pedestal in your fragrance shelf just so this can sit more comfortably than the others. It sparkles and bubbles, it dries down clean and slightly woody. Spicy, but not in an Azzaro Most Wanted kind of cinnamon-y way, but more like a carbonated drink, kind of effervescent-like. Masterful fragrance.

Never give up on a fragrance right away! I thought this was way too male leaning, but it was cold cold winter at the time and could not smell the ripe subtle fruit underneath the juniper and wood. Spring has sprung and a little of that subtle ripe fruit in Gentle Fluidity gold is coming through the fresh pine, citrus, and wood. This feels more unisex and feel great wearing this as a woman in the warm weather. Fresh and clean smell - just beautiful!

This fragrance has a nostalgic smell, since my grandfather used to apply something similar after shaving. Really puts the juniper-pineapple combo on the foreground, with the rest of notes assisting in development. Lasts pretty long, projects well, and is within my top 5 MFK fragrances. Works as a daily wear and for special occasions, could be a signature scent, yet my heart is already occupied. Would refill once it becomes empty.

Fresh, elegant & easy going suitable for everyday use. The quality is noticeable & you don’t need to be expert to know it. Performance is average. Longevity on skin 6/8 hours with below average projection from the beginning but specially after 1/2 hours it becomes closer to skin but if someone gets very close to you they will smell it even after 4/5 hours. The price is very high & unjustified. I wish it was not that overpriced.

This is one of the weirdest frags i own. Smell it up close and i get the animalic/woody/dank smell but just 6 inches away and it is such a beautiful clean scent. Makes 0 sense but thats what i get. DO NOT OVERSPRAY. Also it is somehow sweet just smelling the sprayer. 8.5/10 due to price being so high. Also off clothes it is very clean and off skin it def takes a more dark profile. Intriguing. Absolutely love this one

I love this scent so so so so much. It is my favorite of the MFK scents. Perhaps my affection for it is because it feels like the most appropriate of cold weather scents. It is clean, inoffensive, and calming (the best way to put it). I like to spray it on the inside of my sweaters, so it wafts up as I move around during the day. I wish it was more affordable, but it is totally worth the experience and price.

A sales assistant sprayed some of this onto a sample card. It smelt ok off the bat, wasn't initially that impressed and just put the card in my rucksack. Big mistake, its been 3 days and I've been constantly getting whiffs of a wonderful smell. To me it reminds me of the fruity accords of Aventus mixed with the freshness of Bleu De Chanel. I now need this fragrance! But it's pricey at £150.

Gentle Fluidity Silver embodies the colour silver. It's actually crazy how Kurkdjian created a fragrance that evokes the vibe of a colour. It's fresh, green and slightly fruity but also a bit metallic and crisp in the dry down. GFS is perfectly unisex and versatile. You can wear this to go shopping, go to work, or even to a formal event. It's like the white t shirt of fragrances.

I find it so funny that, after fragrantica, for some reason, wrongly added bergamot and pineapple to the notes, everyone suddenly gets pinepple. The official notes off MFK never mentined these notes in any form. Correct notes of Gentle Fluidity Silver: Nutmeg, Vanilla, Junper berries, Amberwood, Coriander seeds, Musks The development is not in the form of a note pyramid.

its such a neutral, clean but yet heavy scent that gives it great longevity, its a really gorgeous "quiet wealth" kind of vibe, i honestly dont wear it a ton but this is still somehow in my top 5 most complimented, ive yet to encounter someone else wearing it so idk how it smells "in the air" but both men and women have spoken to me over this scent

This one caught me off guard. I did not have high hopes for this due to the fact that I really don’t like most MFK fragrances however, this shit is nice. The first couple of minutes give me floor cleaner vibes but once it settles it’s so nice, It’s fresh and pleasant to smell. I can’t wait to give this one a full days wear to see how it performs.

Gentle Fluidity Silver by Francis Kurkdjian is just... I don't know, I forgot all the words that could possibly describe it when I tried it for the first time. The blend of juniper freshness and coriander spice is from another world — it's impossibly exquisite and adds something unique to any situation one can wear it too. Amazing 100000/10

I sampled this alongside several other freshies and this just kept speaking to me. Clean, fresh, sophisticated and minimalistic but not at all boring or flat. A true formal or dressed up gentleman’s scent. I can’t imagine anyone being offended by this smell. I finally bought a bottle and my only regret is not getting the bigger one.

at first the opening of this was so stinky to me because of the gin & tonic aspect and couldn't rock it. but goddamn after a days, that dry down is incredible. this definitely stands out as a mature and masculine, unique clean frag. as someone who teaches this is veryyyy work/office safe. an absolute spring/summer worthy king.

Absolutely love this one! I’m a huge fan of clean fragrances and this one is my favorite. It’s clean but not like soapy or shower smelling. It’s been compared to a gin and tonic with that juniper coming through. Highly recommend if you like that clean but yet still masculine smelling fragrance. 10/10

Got it as a sample, didn't like it on me since I feel like it leans more masculine, so I gave it to my boyfriend and I absolutely love it on him! GFS is sophisticated and mature, feels like sitting by the woods with your favourite blanket. Hope my boyfriend will in love with it as much as I did!

Such a clean and fresh masculine fragrance. I honestly feel like this is something you can wear year round its so easy to wear. It performs decently which is why I feel like its overpriced, but even with that being said i'm about to be on my third bottle of this because I love it so much lmao

At first i didn't like it, but after some time it grew on me to the point where I only stop wearing it during summer or winter. This is my spring fall fragrance for everyday use. Amazing fragrance I'm glad I bought it. People around me also find this fragrance very good and not overwhelming
