Kurky Eau Parfumée

I ordered a bottle of this alcohol-free version for myself. I hope it will smell softer and that the musk won’t be louder than the other notes 🤞🏻 So, the bottle has arrived and I immediately sprayed the fragrance. I can say that it smells almost the same as its predecessor in the EDP version. The only difference is that the alcohol-free version contains fewer musks, so the scent comes across softer and more delicate. Expecting strong projection from an alcohol-free formula would probably be unrealistic, as this format generally isn’t meant for that. The fragrance stays close to the skin , you could describe it as a soft body mist or a gentle veil. Personally, I think it definitely has its place, and I’ll happily wear it as an everyday option. Longevity is good 👌🏻 I applied it at 1 p.m., and now it’s already 8:30 p.m., and it’s still quite noticeable on the skin.

I would like everyone to be clear this was made to be wearable for children 3 and up. As consumers it's important that we understand what we're being sold, based on marketing and whatever information we can uncover. That being said if you want a children's fragrance you're better off created your own attar using fragrance oils and moisturizing oils. BUT if you like Kurky this is perfect for your child. Its a niche product from a niche brand.

I'm more so interested to see if the cap is jelly like? It looks see through lime green. This should be pretty cool. Scented water vs the og kurky. So, its a scent for toddlers. Which we all thought the og was as well. Makes a lot more sense now why the OG was so light. I'm a little confused though. We paying $80+ for alcohol? If that's the only real difference.

It smells like original Kurky but maybe a little more powdery. It is however extremely weak, and original Kurky was already really weak to begin with. I've had a few water based perfumes before (Jadore for example) and they are honestly quite strong and projecting. I will probably be returning this. And the cap is plastic FYI.

Because I was just DYING to spend $250 for a water based fragrance so that my 3 year old could be the first girl in her generation to be wearing MFK to her preschool class!!
