I rarely find myself this captivated by a fragrance, especially one whose performance doesn’t fully meet my usual standards, but there was just something about it I couldn’t shake. Despite my initial reservations, the desire to own it lingered long after the fragrance faded away. In the end, I had to have it. I bought a bottle. I first tested this in 2015. I didn't know much about MFK and I hadn't tried any of the line. Eventually I got round to checking them out. This fragrance stood out to me beyond the others. I loved it but I wasnt sure whether it was too mature for me, being 29 at the time. Every time I went into a store that stocked MFK I would walk out wearing this stuff. Its not the longest lasting or highest projecting scent, so I was keen to test it. Everytime I wore it, I could only pick it up for about 30-60 minutes after, before fading to a skin scent. I was in a pub in London, just outside of the London Palladium where I would be performing in a new musical a few nights later when I smelt the most captivating smell. It was Masculine Pluriel. I had tested this enough to know the scent and Libertys which was a stone through away, stocked the MFK line-up. Either a guy had just been and sprayed this on or he owned it. Never the less, as he walked past me I knew then how truly amazing this scent is. This was summer 16, fast forward to October 17 and I finally made the purchase. Onto the scent - id describe it as sort of a creamy shaving foam fragrance which perhaps is an oversimplified description of how it actually smells. To mention lavender and leather may evoke the wrong kind of feelings. It is a smooth, creamy, clean, modern barbershop style fragrance with a classic masculine base of leather and patchouli. Many barbershop style scents smell somewhat outdated and "old school". Masculin Pluriel takes the genre and completely modernised it, to a point pretty much any man of any age could pull this off. It is a stunning fragrance. What I didn't expect was the amount of compliments I would receive with it. Ive used up nearly all of my first 70ml bottle in 9 or so months. Everytime Ive worn it, people have been unable to not say how amazing I smell. Which really took me by surprise. I was worried when purchasing that it was potentially too mature for me. But it fits like a glove and it seems people of all ages love it. Ive received a lot of positive feedback in the past with specific fragrances but non so consistently as Masculin Pluriel. Now to discuss performance. Admittedly it isnt the most beastly of perfumes. But it does a good job for 1-3 hours. Now, since purchasing my bottle Ive worn this on pretty much all special occassions and also nights out, socialising, bars etc. Ive developed some ways to make it last longer. I have long hair, I wash my hair, apply non scented products such as hair serum etc and I then apply a good 8-10 sprays. I then tie my hair back until I leave in which Ill let it down, and the scent projects heavenly from that. I can smell it the morning after. This also I believe lends its self to the large amount of compliments, the sillage is dispersed well as I moved past people and lean in to chat. To sum it up in one word; "Handsome". If you've never tried it and you want a great modern but classic masculin aroma that women adore, give this a few wearings and see how it wears. 10/10

Lavender, Vetiver, Patchouli and Leather; these are by far the most defined notes, don't expect to smell any wood (as fragrantica calls this a Woody Aromatic) as it is certainly something I struggled to pick up on. This has to be one of the best blended scents ever, to smell so clearly and distinctly of lavender in the top notes and have this simultaneously be seriously masculine, is phenomenal. The lavender is balanced out by vetiver and patchouli which all become quieter to reveal a leather base. as a lot of people discover MFK through JPG's le male (which was made by Francis Kurdjian) and like le male, this fragrance is wonderfully made, but unlike le male it wonderfully subverts genres combining Aromatic Fougere and classical Barbershop die down. it suits a mature man but is a welcoming scent for man to wear. Just as a note, it is very hard to explain how this is Fougere as it has no distinct gourmet smells. However I'd say that the opening smells like a Parma Violets, which for those who don't know are British sweets which are described by the manufacturer as "sweet with a soapy or floral taste" which is definitely what I'd describe masculin pluriel as. The overall performance of this fragrance is satisfactory. It projects well over 6ft for the top notes (1 hour) but dies down to a very wearable 1 or 2ft projection as the fragrance develops. the longevity is anywhere between 4-8 hours based on how hot it is and how warm you are, but I'd say this fragrance is best suited for feb-jun and is absolutely a daytime fragrance. as this bottle is 165£ (210$) I'd say that you will be slightly overpaying despite the master craftsmanship on show with masculin pluriel. but the bottle and the box being incredibly nice definitely soften the blow to your bank account. Overall I love the fragrance, the smell, the sillage and development of the fragrance with time, to me are all near perfection, and I am happy to have added this to my collection and I would be inclined to recommend that you do so to.

The only barbershop style fragrance you need. Masculin Pluriel is an excellent woody aromatic fragrance that evokes the feeling of walking out of a barbershop, with a fresh haircut and clean shave. Francis Kurkdjian's signature cleanness and airiness is present here as well, and it's a match made in heaven with this scent profile. I kept getting a slight citrus feel out of the scent and there is indeed a grapefruit note listed in MFK's website, it's just missing here. I think this is an instantly likeable fragrance, not only for barbershoppy fragrance lovers, but in general. This could easily be any man's signature scent or even their only fragrance, as it's extremely versatile, fit for all seasons and every occasion. Truly an amazing fragrance. In some ways Danaë from Argos reminds me of Masculin Pluriel, but Danaë is not even in the same ball park in terms of quality (not that Danaë is bad at all, it simply doesn't smell as natural and refined as this). If I wasn't set on buying Beau de Jour this would be my pick for a barbershop style fragrance, but I might still end up buying this down the line. Masculin Pluriel isn't perfect, however, its performance leaves a little bit to be desired to me. While longevity is really good for an eau de toilette, lasting 7 hours with relative ease, projection and sillage aren't the greatest. Projection is moderate and sillage is a little on the lighter side, not to mention this only projects for around an hour before becoming a skin scent. I'd love for an eau de parfum version that could potentially be better at projection and sillage, but generally leaving the scent itself intact.

I’m kinda surprised I haven’t reviewed this but here goes... much like what others have already mentioned, the good and the not so good, this is a timeless DNA, one you’re probably already familiar with, especially if you like fougere’s and barbershop style scents. This is basically a soapy lavender shave foam with a slight metallic vibe and some leather and woods in the base. It’s effervescent and projects nicely the first 45 mins before it becomes a skin scent for about the next 6 hours. I’d much prefer this to have stronger performance but I really enjoy the scent so I don’t mind having to refresh after a while. Granted this is a fairly simple scent that will perhaps remind you of others, this is done in a way that feels very modern, almost futuristic... like this came off a spaceship that traveled through a black hole from the year 3,000... In other words, this very much has Francis Kurkdjian’s styling... he has a way of creating scents that feel ahead of their time. Much like MFK Oud EDP, Narciso Rodriguez For Him, Le Male, even BR540 to an extent with its medicinal vibe, all unique in their own way. If this had better performance it would no doubt be my signature scent. I really love everything about the scent but considering I have to spray it frequently to get decent longevity it’s not very practical for a signature, but I really enjoy the times I wear it, it’s one of my favorites. So if you’re looking for a clean, sexy and modern barbershop style scent but you, or someone close to you are sensitive to strong fragrance, this is absolutely one to check out. 8/10

I have a bottle of the purple grayish formulation and I haven’t gotten my nose on the newer paler formulations so I can’t speak for those. However the one I have is a crisp, bright and rich, smooth bordering on creamy LAVENDER. Some are referring to it as ‘old school’ but I think it’s a very clever and bright modern take on an old school concept. Honestly I don’t know what role the other notes play because I can’t detect them. They don’t stand out AT ALL, which is good because I’m not the biggest fan of vetiver or patchouli, all I get is LAVENDER. If anything, the other notes contribute to the silky smooth texture of the composition but definitely not the smell. This is a great fragrance when you want to smell clean and sophisticated but not heavy or overbearing. Excellent office fragrance, I work in a hospital so this is great for that environment too. On the performance front, I was able to detect this fragrance for a full 12 hour shift. It’s not a projection monster but it does have a wonderful light and airy sillage as most MFK fragrances do. You probably won’t get too many compliments but you will smell clean, crisp and professional. No one will deny it. I’d recommend, 7/10.

This is one of the few linear fragrances I have in my collection; that being said, the aroma you get at the opening is something you keep throughout the whole wearing. After the initial spraying, I was hit with lavender, the primary scent in this fragrance. The lavender is supported by vetiver and woods, which have hints of patchouli. The fragrance is well blended; besides the lavender, which stands out, the other notes are well combined and complemented. The scent also has an aroma that gives it a feeling of being creamy and soapy. Due to these aromas, the fragrance reminds me of a warm and luxurious shaving cream, the kind you get at the barbershop when you get a nice shave. While Masculin Pluriel may not be a powerhouse in terms of projection, its subtle aura, extending to about arm's length after the second hour, is perfect for the office environment. What's truly impressive is its longevity for an eau de toilette concentration, lasting a good 7 hours on my skin. This, combined with its moderate projection, makes it a reliable choice for a productive day at the office.

I don't normally write reviews, but I just couldn't help myself. This fragrance is simply the greatest barbershop fougere of all time, and this is coming from a self-proclaimed lover of barbershop scents. I own all the classics: Chanel's Pour Monsieur EDT/EDP, Platinum Egoiste, D&G Pour Homme, Rive Gauche Pour Homme, Sartorial etc., and yet, this is best of the lot. All of them are different takes on the same idea, with Masculin Pluriel being a very clean/clear rendition of the genre with a bit of a patchouli and leather funk to round it out. The lavender is amped up in this compared to something like Rive Gauche, but not so much where it's a lavender bomb. It's not as powdery as Sartorial or D&G Pour Homme, but the powdery undertones are still there. The fragrance lacks any sharp edges like those in Platinum Egoiste – everything is blended quite smoothly – and there is no vanilla like in Pour Monsieur EDP or Chanelade aldehydes like in the EDT. All in all, if you are looking for a perfect middle ground in the barbershop fougere category, then this is the one to pick up.

I just met Francis Kurkdjian this past weekend and let me tell you what a gentleman he is. I was fortunate enough to have lunch with him along with other people. This bottle was on the table and every now and then I would sniff it, and it just made me feel so clean,calm, confident and centred, just the epitome of a "masculine fragrance". Although I haven't tried it on my skin, this is a beautiful timeless scent. I started collecting about two years ago and now I'm concentrating on building my fragrance wardrobe very carefully, not just picking up whatever the next trend is. Therefore neededless to say, I plan on buying this fragrance as it will be my classic gentleman style fragrance when I need it for work, a Formal event or just when I want to feel like a gentleman. It wasn't meant to be a ground breaking fragrance, it was meant to be his take on the classic Woody Aromatic masculine scent,period. He succeeded in doing that. This is a beautiful fragrance. Lavender, woods and leather, perfectly masculine.

This is beautiful. I had a 1.5ml sample from nose paris. I agree, at first this does seem a bit plain, generic, maybe boring. But plain and boring is perfectly fine if it's done masterfully. This along with oud satin mood, are nostalgic to me. They instantly bring me to my childhood, no particular singular moment, but more of a collective of scent memories from that time. I can't put my finger on where or who smelled this way, but it's like a time machine in a bottle. It's classy, mature, simple, and executed perfectly. Im not sure about the longevity, although I wore it to the gym and it projected well for a couple hours and faded pretty quickly but that's typical for most scents I wear while working out they evaporate quite quickly. Although on my clothes it also didn't last more than a few hours so perhaps it's not the longest lasting. Overall first impressions, the nostalgic feeling I get from this, just like oud satin mood, makes me want to get a bottle even if it's not the best performing scent.

Love my fougere frags! This is a very clean, polished, smooth, high-class barbershop fragrance. It’s what someone who is worth millions uses as their signature scent. It has a similar vibe to Egoiste. But it’s simply just much better. Egoiste is a Honda. Masculin Pluriel Is an Aston Martin. *In comparison to Beau de jour (private blend) — BDJ possesses similar notes, but BDJ is much more dense, metallic, and bold. BDJ can be worn everyday, but to me it’s more statement making - due to its density - when you still want sophistication. There’s a boldness there that commands attention, but still laid back enough that can be dressed up or down. MP is simply a a sleek man who knows what he’s doing. Again, high-class fougere. Probably the most polished, balanced, and clean fougere I’ve ever smelled. You’d reach for this when you want to project a seamless vibe. It’s unequivocally a classic masculine scent. And it’s an extremely great scent. Bond. James Bond fragrance.

So I own this and have tested replica barbershop. Not sure which one came first but there is an undeniable similarity. For the purpose of this review I’m going to assume MFK’s version came out first. Lavender fougeres are known for being sharp and robust. This scent flips that concept on its head. This is as smooth as it gets and is masterfully blended by MFK. You still get that babershop freshness and clean feeling. But it’s mixed in with an earthy leather. Well into the base there is a nuttiness or even oud lurking around. It’s clean and sophisticated and quintessentially French. Probably the best office fragrance with a crisp white shirt and or suit. But it has that depth that can withstand after work drinks and flirtatious chat with that women you fancy from accounting. I’m lucky to have bottles of the grey pre formula version so basing it on that. Though I fear it may have been butchered by the yellow reformulation as is the way with the perfume industry.

I've been a fan of Kurkdjian's work ever since I put my nose on Armania Mania back in the 2000s. Although not a great performer, Mania was a great example of the trademark fresh, clean, sophisticated Kurkdjian style. A style that characterizes much of the creations under his own name. With Masculin Pluriel, Kurkdjian takes a traditional barbershop concept and adds his own touch of up-to-date sophistication and smoothness that most fougeres out there seem to lack. It's hard to describe the paradox between fresh sharpness and clean velvety smoothness that this fragrance exudes, as is the paradox between its rather mature and traditional core and its very modern olfactory experience. But all these things are true. Clean, fresh, crisp, slightly metallic. And good permormance to boot, especially for such a fresh fougére. A fragrance that every man over 30 should experience at least once in his lifetime. Especially after going to the barber. 8.5/10

Starts out as a lavender bomb. It’s predominantly lavender for about 30-45 mins on my skin. In the mid is where it starts to get good. The lavender still there, but I can smell the patchouli and woods. I don’t really get leather, but, then again, Masculin Pluriel is masterfully blended. I don’t see the similarities to Zaharoff Signature, which has myrrh and a soapy dry down. Beau De Jour starts out as a lavender bomb as well. However, it has a sweet, spicey shaving foam dry down. I prefer MFK’s Masculin Pluriel because it is less sweet and more masculine. A big negative is that on my skin it lasts about 4hours. In addition, it is not a strong projector. Lastly, I can only find 70ml for north of $200. That’s a good chunk of change for no one to smell you. If I can get it at a good discount, I may buy a bottle because it is that good.

These reviews are all over the place! Please do yourself a favor and try the fragrance for yourself. For starters, there is no perceivable difference in the older, purple juice formulation and the newer yellow-hued version, having owned both. Next, I succumbed to thinking this was a weak, low performing fragrance and sold it before repurchasing. Honestly, I have not yet come across an MFK fragrance that does not perform well. One spray under my shirt for work and I can still detect it after 8 hours. Not a room filler, but two sprays gives me a nice bubble. Now for the scent itself, which I would describe as unique for the genre. Clean yet slightly dank. Metallic but not cold. Smooth but a bit fuzzy feeling. This could easily be an everyday fragrance barring hot summer days. Mature, cleaning, gentlemanly. 9/10

An old school, barber shop, classy and refined fragrance. Smells great, especially after the first 15 mins or so, then it becomes really classy and masculine. The place I ordered from were advertising the old grey juice, but I actually got the new reformulated pale yellow juice. I'll be honest, it has definitely changed. It's not quite as strong and the smell in the opening in particular has changed slightly. After that initial 15 mins they smell the same though, pretty much, but I don't feel like this projects as much. I can't do much about the false advertisement unfortunately: my friends wife got me a really good deal in the place she works and I don't want to seem ungrateful so I'm sucking it up and sticking with the reformulated one! Still a great fragrance either way.

When this 1st came out in 2014, after several attempts I decided to buy it. Yes it has that classic lavender/frougue aroma. I don't know why but I found it on my skin to have a sweet vib. It's likely coming from patchouli with a mix of plum even thou it's not listed. I don't pickup any leather or vertier notes. There's a good dose of wood notes to give this juice a decent base. Longevity and Sillage is moderate, I don't feel like dowsing myself to get it to last a few more hours. It's definitely a summer/fall daytime or night wear. It's very versatile, you can't go wrong no matter what the occasion is. It's not a beast that is cloying. I don't regret buying a bottle. 8/10. I would give it a 9, if it lasts longer.

An exceptionally well-blended fougére, heavy on lavender, with cedar and vetiver to back it up. The sillage is strong, and it lasts better than average, and like most fine fougéres, you could wear it in all seasons. But as nice as this is, I'm not sure about whether it's worth the cost. Certainly this is much more exquisitely blended and luxurious than Caron's Pour Un Homme, but is it really worth so much more when, like PUH, this is pretty much a typical-but-beautiful barbershop fragrance? I have tried (and even bought full bottles of) expensive fougéres that have knocked my socks off, but this is not one of those. As much as I like this and admire it, it's not unusual enough to justify the price.

This is a really nice fragrance. This is a typical barbershop style lavender fragrance and it is way overpriced. My recommendation is Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme instead of this. Though this fragrance is not the same, it is in the lavender barbershop wheelhouse of fragrances. Zaharoff has more depth and overall better performance. You get 120ML for under $200 for any Zaharoff compared to the around $200 for a 70ML MFK. I mean Francis Kurkdjian is a great perfumer. The problem is he knows it and believes he's the best ever.Then he prices his stuff like God anointed it. Don't fall for it. Unless you really have a hard desire for this ok go for it. It's good. I'm just saying there's better.

I got a sample of this after having already owned Tom Ford Beau de Jour and I'm quite torn about buying a full bottle. The two fragrances are in a similar vein, but BDJ is brighter, greener, and more medicinal, while Masculin Pluriel is a bit more of a powdery white cloud with just a hint of the medical note. I find MP a bit more classy and understated, and very well blended. They accomplish very much the same thing though, which is that classic, old school barbershop perfumery. Definite dad-vibes here, but as I'm getting into my mid-40s this style of fragrance appeals to me more and more. Redundant though it may be, I think I'm going to have to buy a full bottle of MP. It's that good!

I adore Masculin Pluriel, Its such a silky smooth pleasing fragrance!. Clean, fresh & beautifully crisp with a superb woody density. Its not complex or obnoxiously loud. Its luxury barbershop oozing class & finesse. Masculin Pluriel is front loaded with an effervescent lavender and a support cast of Vetiver, Patchouli, Cedar & a hint of Leather adding the balance and backbone to the fragrance. Its blended to perfection. If this was water it would be crystal clear. Performance is very good. I use 6 sprays and get a really good scent bubble for 4 or so hours then it dials back hour by hour. It stays on the skin for a good 10 hours though. Perfect for this type of scent.

This is my second attempt at reviewing it. I had a full bottle and sold it (which I regret), recently picked up a sample from MFKs website and wow. Clean, smooth bright lavender. All the edges are polished perfectly, very good projection for an hour or so and then calms down. Very well blended ingredients, smells both mature and refreshing. You can feel the quality, it is a bit on the sweeter side once it dries down, becomes more concentrated and less bright. I am definitely buying a new full bottle again. This is a great clean, smell. You wear this when you got things under control. A shave, clean white shirt on, pearly white teeth and a radiating smile.

It's a fresh, maybe even barber shop like masculine classic all year round perfume. It does lean more mature but absolutely not dated, it just wouldn't suit an 18 year old. it's a fresh lavender far away from toilet products and the overall character is piercing, a bit metallic, fresh, very airy, somewhat ozonic even. There's also some kind of zesty acidity in the back, like lime maybe, or grey grapefruit. It's a masculine, all year round, high quality natural smelling classic EDT that will last you about 5-7 hours with a moderate projection. An all-time perfume, a dumb reach if you want to call it, but not blue. Barbershop, mature masculine.

To enjoy Pluriel Masculin, you have to *wear* it. Not testing it on the wrist and shoving the nose in it. Doing this (as almost all of us usually do) can make you sick of it. No surprises there, I don't mean to be Captain Obvious. But it's a mistake specially in this case. The main base accord that supports the lavender (iso e or whatever) can make the blend stick to your nostrils - enhancing the "metallic" aspect of the lavender - and it will probably become cloying. I was giving up on it until I actually *worn* it. The sample became full bottle almost instantly. That's how it worked for me. A grown ass lavender. 9/10

My absolute favorite barbershop/fougere of all the fragrances I've tried. it starts off with the typical lavender note of this type of fragrance, slightly sharp opening but smoother than most. It settles down in a butter smooth fragrance that remains aromatic. The skill in perfurmery is very evident, turning this classic style of fragrance into something smoother, modern and sophisticated. I feel i can wear this during any season really and it remains versatile for me. This will be my signature scent for spring summer 2022. i've had this for over a year but just started to really enjoy it. Underrated fragrance. 10/10

I hate gendering fragrances, but this might truly be one of the most recognizably masculine fragrances I've ever smelled. It manages to be sharp/crisp and smooth at once. It's sweet, and if I had to guess I'd say there's tonka in there. I used a dabber vial to test a small amount, and I can almost taste it in my throat 2 hours later. That doesn't seem to be everyone else's experience so I guess I'll just have to keep testing. Update: I kept smelling it on myself for hours, but when I put my nose to my wrist it was very faint. I'm not sure if I got anosmic and it was still projecting or if it rubbed onto my clothes.

Gentlemanly and smooth. It is simple, yet very well done. Lavender stands out the most. From all the MFK fragrances I have tried, I like this one the best. Initially the opening vaguely reminded me of clothes put in the wardrobe together with some lavender sachets, so as not to be devoured by moths. I do not say it smells like that, yet because lavender is commonly used for such purposes, I could not help but make this association. Thankfully, I do not get this impression anymore. Either way, Masculin Pluriel is such a delightful fragrance that I am even tempted to purchase it. 9/10

Beautiful scent opening with lavender and great depth. Scent profile is absolutely stunning and exactly what I love as a barbershop style fougere. Very gentlemanly and well crafted with smooth blending. This seems to sit very close to me but i get wafts at the opening... but the performance longevity is very poor honestly for the price point. If it had better performance and longevity, it would be a top tier fragrance. Unfortunately, this will be a pass despite my love for the scent profile. It seems a majority of the MFK line I struggle with in some way or another. A shame...

A very satisfying modern fougere fragrance, done in signature Francis Kurkdjian style. masculin Pluriel takes the green, soapy, and lavender elements of a classic men's fougere and whips them into a composition that is mass-appealing, airy, sleek, a tiny bit metallic, and with a dazzling scent trail. Very long lasting. The base is surprisingly sweet, and I get a lot of patchouli alongside the vetiver. There's almost a fougere funnel cake feeling about it - whipped, airy, sweet, with the smell wafting in the air all around. Very, very pleasing for winter and spring.

As someone who enjoys barbershop fragrances, I was quite excited to try this- and it is exactly what I'd hoped for. Very good stuff. Lavender, cedar, vetiver, a noticeable dose of patchouli and a little bit of leather is what I pick up on this. Pretty much everything you could as for in a fougere/barbershop- and it never comes off to powdery either. The only fragrance I'm familiar with that smells like this is BDJ from Tom Ford, but, BDJ is greener, mossier, and has an even more pronounced Patchouli accord. Great stuff and I can't wait to try it again. 8.5/10

Mature barber scent with a crisp smooth sweet edge. I am on the fence on getting a full bottle. I find it sometimes too sweet for my liking. Its a love for me. Despite the sweetness i get from the first hour. On me this lasts about 5-6 hours. On my clothes a bit longer. Projects really well up to 3 hours in. After that it turns more of a skin scent. For a full workday of wearing. 3 sprays in the morning and around lunch time another spray or two. This will carry you the whole day I found.

If you want to save money try a clone like Perfume Parlour's Man Excess, which is just as good with possibly better performance, and will not break the bank.

For those times when you just want to feel well put together. Makes me feel elegant every time I wear it. That being said, you will be the only one noticing this scent. It won't garner any compliments and it's not trying to. When I first sprayed this on, I tried a few MFK fragrances on my hand but this is the one that stood out the most. It really reminds me of Sauvage Elixir but less loud and more gentlemanly. A must-have in my book.

I just adore this one. This is a silky-smooth barbershop fragrance. Masculin Pluriel is a lavender-dominant, highly polished, classy, clean scent. It doesn't scream. It's not offensive in any way. It's just a phenomenal barbershop-style fragrance. If you like that scent profile, give this one a try. This would be perfect for the office, or if you're just feeling well-groomed and want to smell the part.

Beautiful. My first full bottle purchase from MFK. It is composed to perfection. The lavender shines here, and the vetiver and woods give it an elegant backbone. I prefer to wear this one during the day. Ideal for work/business settings and signature worthy for a well put together man. Longevity/sillage is moderate (this is not meant to be a beast mode fragrance) so an extra spray or two won't offend.

The name should have been MFK Pour Homme really I smelt beau de jour , Azzaro pour Homme and Bottega Veneta pour Homme ..this one is the freshest of the bunch..there is some subtle citrus feel and the perfume doesn't really have a dark base so it can work even in summer it has a nice shaving cream vibe definitely the most modern barbershop fragrance compared to the ones I mentioned above

I had a decant of the grey juice and now have a bottle of the reformulated yellow juice. I can't detect a difference. For me, the performance is great and long lasting. In my opinion, it's not weak at all. This scent may be too minimalistic for some, but that is what I like about it. It's pretty much lavender, soft leather and soft citrus. Very smooth.

I'm really loving the scent of M Pluriel. I've been testing out a decant of this fragrance for several weeks. Not only is it becoming a favorite of mine from MFK, I also think that this is one of the best barber-shopish scents for men. My favorite barbershop fragrance of all time. It's very bright and sparkly, despite the notes making me think it was going to be dark and much more earthy. MFK does the clean soapy thing probably better than anyone, and that's very present here. It's very classic and very modern smelling at the same time. Am absolute joy to wear.

This is a fougere modelled on classic fougeres before they became mossy, green and aromatic in the 70s. In reality, lots of modern designers are a throwback to that style, epitomised by Caron Pour Un Homme. It has that combination lavender and powdery, grassy coumarin. A touch sweet, a touch fresh. Good performance

Testing my sample; a cool and metallic-leaning barbershop fougere that still maintains the earthy woodiness of the notes. It feels like a literal breath of fresh air. Every season but winter, this definitely needs some heat to convey the effects. Definitely full bottle worthy if you want an MFK-style fougere.

A sparkly, vetiver forward fougère. Doesn’t lean too old school barbershop either, strikes a nice balance of feeling comforting and classic yet with modern touches. Agree with the comments comparing to platinum égoïste - they don’t smell the same but have a similar character. A great versatile daily wear.

Pluriel Masculin brings that metallic side of lavender/dihydromircenol. Like Platinum Egoiste or Fougère d’Argent - both bringing that quality on their very names. It’s powdery and chalky. Good, nevertheless. But that metallic edge might become too much throughout the day or with constant wear.

Forty years ago I worked one summer in a shortbread factory. That sweet buttery, biscuit baking smell remains a love. Masculin Pluriel is a lavender bomb overlaid with the same luxuriant, creamy accord. The smoothness is why I keep wearing and enjoying this perfume. I get good performance. 4/5

I know I'm getting old because I love this thing so much now. I smelled it about 10 years ago and was a hard pass for me. Now that I'm older and can appreciate a more grown up scent profile, this has quickly become a signature/quick grab. It's just gives off a gentleman vibe. Love it!

Part of my collection for so many years now! Was always on the lookout for my signature scent. Masculin Pluriel will play that role beautifully! It combines all the best masculin ingredients of a classic perfume and can be used in all seasons day and night! A top classic niche.

I love this but the vetiver is too overpowering unless I spray it on as lightly as possible. I put this on and my stress level literally is cut in half. It’s one of the smoothest and most elegant creations I’ve encountered on my fragrance journey. An absolute masterpiece!

Sweet, creamy lavender mousse. It’s kind of a mix of Grand Soir and Gentle Fluidity Silver if you can imagine that. Got the new yellow juice, performance is great 6 plus hours. This is a cozy sweet scent. Unfortunately, it’s the complete opposite of what I tend to enjoy.
