This underrated treasure is a moody beauty. It has a sweet, green fig opening, but on my skin it quickly dries down to something more sullen and dark. It remains sweet, but the wood and ash notes render it dry, almost arid. I love the resulting combination of softness and austerity. It's easy to wear, but still feels quietly distinguished and a bit mysterious. For me, this is a beautiful evening fragrance for spring and summer, or a generally suitable scent for autumn.

It's very green in the opening. It smells like wood and crushed fig leaves, but without the creamy/milky note, just the green part. The narcissus is definitely present and there is an ash note in the background. The fragrance shifts after a few hours to a fresh salty woody musky stuff that is dull, generic and played to the death especially in the manly designer game lately. 5/10

Smell green, of a tree and fruit. I recommend in spring and summer. The fig is made out but in the green crust. Additionally we have beautiful elegant notes what he is buying that the smell typically isn't only fruit interesting and elegant. Ending is distinct and drilling. Very nice , wow ;)

Received a sample of this about a year ago, and I'm just now checking it out. It was impressive enough for me to post a quick review. Well done. Definitely for the ladies, in my opinion. Reminds me of a super high quality Sand and Sable with the floral threads turned up a notch (regardless of the notes listed for each). Classy, sexy, knowing ... yet innocent. Not sure if this is available in the USA anymore but I will cherish this sample. Wherever you are, if you come across it: inhale. Deeply.

Not a review. I think the notes listed and the name are beautiful, but I will never ever buy a fragrance whose backstory is a woman being burned alive on a pyre.
