Palais Royal

I bought this after seeing it in TK Maxx before the summer and I really like it. Its very hard to describe though and I can't actually pick out any orange or jasmine specifically. But it has decent performance for something that looks like its highly synthetic and maybe it is?? Its very easy to wear and maybe some might say generic, but its one of those fragrances that's an easy reach. Its uplifting and light, but doesn't fade on you within 15mins. And I honestly wish I'd bought the others now. As there was a few more in store at the time. But it was a blind buy gamble on the brand and scent as it was. And I didn't want to be stuck with something that I wasn't going to wear. If anyone asked what it reminded me of. I would actually say. A much lighter version of Caroline Herrera Good Girl, with the coffee and the more heavy notes.

I want to love this so much, but unfortunately it's not my cup of tea. Maybe because it's winter and this is more a cooling spring and summer fragance or perhaps the very thick white floral in it, is a little too much for my taste. The opening is fine, but when it dries down, I get a little nauseous after a while. That being said, and my personal taste aside: This a fresh clean-ish orange blossom, jasmine and citrus, very classy feminine mixture. I kind of disagree with the other comment under this one, that it smells very synthetic. I find this well blended and quite natural smelling. But perhaps it's what you're used too...🤷 It lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin and the sillage is more than an armslength but it doesn't linger in rooms you've been in. This fragance sort of reminds me of old money, classic and preppy style clothes, neutrals, isfjs(mbti type), small golden jewelry, tea & cakes at a posh hotel & more conservative introverted women somehow. I'll give this another go in the summer. See if it makes a difference. :-)
