Devil’s Breath

I'm still going through the discovery set, but this one and Favorite sin immediately caught my attention. I'm getting is a blast of tart citrus mixed with smokey base. Not a familiar combination. Maybe vetiver-gin-incense combo. There’s something unusual about it, and I honestly can’t think of another perfume that smells like this. It feels niche and clever mixture of materials It feels unique and slightly challenging. This wouldn't be for someone who isn’t deep into fragrances. As it wears, the smoke becomes addictive, and I kept catching smoky citrusy whiffs on my skin throughout the day. Not a bb, but absolutely worth testing if you like darker, more unconventional fragrances.

Okay so this is pretty special stuff. It is an absolute beast of a fragrance which makes the name so fitting. This was the first one I discovered from the brand and from the second I seen the name I knew I had to try it. This fragrances is such an amazing blend of smoke, honey, sandalwood and coffee. That’s what my nose picks up the most. It’s so addictive in the air and I absolutely love smoky fragrances. It truly is an experience wearing this and it will 100% have people wondering what you are wearing. It’s so unique and I can guarantee you will never smell anything like this so you have to get your nose on it. Maison Jaxob, you smashed it out the park with this one.

Day 2 of going through the discovery set from this brand : it does not disappoint! Devils breath are dark, smokey, heavy,can definitely smell the tobacco and spices, a little sweet. It's complex, intriguing, addictive and I love it! I tried the Asanti yesterday and layered it with this, and that for me took them both up to another level. Been trying alot perfumes at my local shops the last months, but this brand is something else, unique and so far just what I've been looking for. Highly recommend getting the discovery set and test for yourself

I came back to post another review because this fragrance is so complex and changing whether I put it on clothes or on skin in the cold weather or heat is just so complex and every time I smell something else The one spray on the scent card is projecting for days incensy sweet aroma that drags me towards it It is far less challenging than i first thought This is the most creative fragrance in the line for sure and i absolutely adore it The price though hard on my pockets Dillema...

Wow! Quite an experience. Devil's Breath (I find the name perfectly suitable) is unusual! The opening is a very strong warm citrusy spike with smoke and herbs. A minute in is where the magic rises. Burnt coffee, black berries, smoke with something sweet like honey. Extremely complex fragrance. I get whiffs of it days after whenever I pass by my coat. I don't know how I feel about it so far, but it's interesting for sure.

Masterpiece im addicted hard to this from opening to finish

In a single moment, I had to cry out, “What the hell am I smelling?” Every single brain cell was working at full throttle to find an answer. My hands clenched the test strip, my nose inhaled relentlessly, and my mind raced in utter confusion. Confused. Confused. Confused... Why is this scent so much more expensive than all the others? There has to be something special behind it. Yes, it is extraordinary—and in a demonic way, fascinating. I don’t know whether I like it, but it reminds me of T-Rex by Zoologist. Not similar—but the same vibe... only in a far more pleasant version. Green, rooty, with tobacco, roasted coffee, smoke, and darkness. There was a hint of coldness to it, perhaps even a faint sweetness. Added to that is an animalic, slightly rotten note that gives it a raw, masculine power. A fragrance of unbelievable complexity and depth—mysterious and utterly unique. Devil’s Breath—the name is completely justified. And yes, I was spoiled, I have a weak heart, and last night I witnessed this evil devour my heart. Scent : 8,5/10. Unique : 10/10.

Devil’s Breath opens dark and smoky right away. The smoke is noticeable from the first spray but it doesn’t feel harsh or abrasive. Juniper berries add a slightly tart freshness, sharp edge that keeps the opening from becoming too heavy. There’s also a subtle smoky fruity note from blackcurrant and citrus note, but it stays understated and mostly adds contrast rather than sweetness. As it develops the scent becomes warmer and more rounded. Honey and tobacco come through in the heart, giving it a smooth, slightly sweet depth. The coffee note adds a roasted bitterness that works really well with the smoke. The dry down is rich and long lasting. Labdanum and tonka bean bring warmth and a gentle sweetness. The civet and musk are subtle but noticeable, adding a natural warmth rather than anything animalic or dirty. Oud and sandalwood give the base a solid, dark woody foundation. It feels best suited for evening wear or cooler weather. The bottle and cap are a highlight for me. They feel solid and well made, and the design fits the dark character of the fragrance very well. It looks and feels like a proper niche presentation, not generic or rushed. The color of the juice is dark red, which seems like it might stain if applied on white clothes. On my first wear, it feels really warm on the skin like sitting in the woods in an aged leather chair surrounded by smoky burning sweet honey incense and soft musk flowers. Beast mode, lasted 24 hours on my skin and didn’t fade until I had to shower. I’ve never smelled anything this complex before I have 140 fragrances and my nose was in overdrive. Need further wears.
