Comme Un Reflet

So, so, so good. Chai spicey, just, ahh, so good. I have no other words. Edit: 11/8/21 Yes I do have more words, lol. I pulled this out bc I haven't had a chance to wear in the cool weather.........it just gets better. I guess letting it sit, but new facets are appearing. The spices seem to have mellowed a bit, in doing so they harmonize with the chai better than they did before. I'm really looking forward to this evolving further through the years.

This smells like a spice cabinet, in a very good way though. It’s opens up with a nose crinkling blast of Indian spices that’s a bit disorienting, but quickly calms down into a spicy, woody scent. It’s hard to detect the milk note because the spices are very loud. I can detect a hint of bergamot that adds a nice citrus freshness in the note, but again, it’s very faint because the spices and cardamom really dominate here. Overall, it’s a like for me but this isn’t something I would buy a full bottle of. I think it’s lacking some sweetness, which I feel like would make the scent more well rounded and wearable. This is toooo spicy and loud to wear alone, so I’ve just layered it with JPG La Belle Le Parfum, and its adds a really nice gourmond/fruity sweetness. I’ll use up my decant by layering it with other sweet and vanillic scents. One thing I will say is that this smells very spicy niche so if that’s your style, you’ll like this.

This perfume is original, fresh, 100% unisex. Chai, spicy, for cocooning during spring or fall. It is niche scent! 8/10, I will give to my husband for the week-end.

Got this hoping for a sweet, milky, spicy chai fragrance. When I sprayed the paper the milk note comes through and I had high hopes. Now that I am wearing the fragrance I only get smokey, spiced incense. The milk note completely disappears for me along with nearly all spices. It is a comforting smokey fragrance but it is not what I was hoping for or expecting.
