Delight in Despair

I genuinely love this fragrance, I've started to wear it super recently and the long lastingness is very impressive, it's a real compliment getter, people have asked me several times what i'm wearing. It's a rather strong fragrance, especially for a woman but this gives it all its power and sexiness according to me ! I don't feel too much patchouli but the smoky side is super strong and captivating pairing super well with the milky saffron start.

I’ve totally fallen for this one. There’s something so poetic about it. It actually reminds me of the end of a long summer—that bittersweet feeling when the air gets cold but the light is still golden. The combination of creamy saffron and cedarwood is stunning. It’s deep, woody, and feels like a warm hug in a bottle. Truly unique.

I had the chance to try the whole collection at Galeries Lafayette in Paris and probably this is the most intriguing one. It's spicy, slightly sweet, with a saffron-like warmth. It smells glowing and rich, almost like it evolves every few minutes on skin. Definitely gonna be in my wishlist!

Uncommon but beatutiful scent. Opening with spicy, soury Oud&Saffron added with creamy milk scent. And opulent Iris comes up after. Dry down is bit sweat like caramel, cannot find Oud as much as opening does. I blind bought this and it was worthy and has the scent which I expected.

Saffran cream and sensual musks, my two obssessions !!! This fragrance sillage is amazing, euphoria in a bottle, the most addictive fragrance from the collection. I've been wearing it everyday since 2 weeks and I get so much compliments !!

Probably the most complex and interesting fragrance I discovered in a while... undescriptable scent, you have to try it to understand. seems to be a big success already in Asia where it was launch at first.... obssessed xxxx

Very addictive!! When I tried it on my skin, at first it had a very strong leather scent (which I love), and then the more delicate notes started to uncover. Super interesting evolution.

Straight up the notes are misleading in my opinion. I get a really nice leather , woody scent off this. Maybe it’s just me but, that’s what I get. After a while, it does really sweeten up in a nice way. I agree with some others, this is a tough one to describe. Something about Margiela scents, they all have some kind of similarity, they’re all related in a way. I’d say try the sample pack of this new release and get your nose on it before you drop the 400$ on a bottle. Personally, none of these scents were for me, all dried down too sweet, so sample if you can. I’m also into niche and Oud and stuff so tailor this to your own taste. My first time buying Margiela and I likely will not again.

This is one of the best oud fragrance I tried... A Margiela good surprise. People around noticed and stopped me. Enveloping without being overpowering. Captivating yet subtle... Iris and patchouli bring this mysterious scent to a brilliant close. It leaves no one indifferent. The woody-leathery notes at the end brilliantly round out the experience.

Think oud maracuja. Spicy oud. Heavy on the patchouli and oud. The dry down has just the faintest sweetness from the lactonic and iris accord notes.

Masculine leaning, smells a bit smoky with an unpleasant oud. It’s a bit of an odd scent. Not a love or like but a big regret.
