Glow

I just layered this on top of my Body Shop Chocomania perfume because I've been wearing it all day, and I wanted to oomph it up with something not too strong, since the only thing I have left to do today is go to bed! I realized that MMM Glow is pretty much a dupe of Demeter Sunshine, which I also have (and can be had for super cheap at Ross, etc.). MMM Glow is really a spray oil and it's meant to be a scent booster. The scent itself is warm and citrusy, just like you would imagine sunshine would be. I'd say, skip this and get the Demeter one instead since they are practically one in the same and it's way more affordable.

I’m so sad this was discontinued. If anyone knows something that’s similar (in subtlety as well as scent, that’s as dynamic as Glow) I’m dying to hear about it.

The official notes for Glow are neroli, grapefruit blossom, bergamot and rose absolute. I mostly smell the first three, which I'm pleased with, because I'm really not a big rose fan nor do I want rose to be very present in a fresh and sunny citrus fragrance. I definitely find Glow to smell less cheap than Blur. It's less artificial, less cloying and doesn't smell as much like a cheap feminine body/bath product. Blur, while claiming to be a soft ambery musk with touches of cotton flower, really just smells more of Pantene shampoo, or a cheap floral women's deodorant, and my attempt to layer it (because it definitely wasn't too nice on its own) killed the beauty of the more delicate and skin-scent Coffee Break and turned it into a nondescript and generic sweet floral. I still don't find Glow to be a must-have, but it at least fits the bill better for what these layering oils claim to be. I love how dry oils look on the skin, and I do genuinely enjoy adding a few drops to my hair after a shower and how it adds a gentle scent and some extra conditioning. The dabber samples are generous as a little goes a long way, and they're very cheap and easy to find relative to a full bottle. They're also great because you can just pour a few drops into your skin and work your hands into the split ends of your hair. This time, layering Glow instead of Blur with my beloved Coffee Break was more agreeable, despite the listed notes at first suggesting the opposite. It adds a fresh, summery and zesty touch and it does increase longevity. Glow is more of a like than a love for me, but I'm delighted I could find a Replica dry body oil I actually liked as Blur was such a cheap disappointment.

Just received my glow oil and it's very fresh and citrusy and radiant. I smell Jasmine to my dislike but it's still enjoyable mixed with lipstick on , very sunny and fresh , quite floral to my nose ! Great also for hair to tame drizzles and smooth down cuticles ! This can easily be detected or worn on its own for a fresh citrusy floral aroma. Not so weak at all. I will pear this with or under some of my Madison Martin Margielas. But I am still a bigger fan of BLUR by far. Available at Sephora online. Glow reminds me slightly of Alien and suntanlotion ,to me that's not so good,definitely radiant like it's suopse to smell.

I love this oil! To my nose it is very Neroli forward, which is a happy, summer scent to me. I use this as a base for my Banana Republic Neroli Woods which is a bit more unisex leaning on my skin, Glow warms it up a little and definitely extends the wear time. So lovely! EDIT 2024: It is such a shame this is no longer in production. My skin morphs with the seasons apparently, some days this is lovely Neroli (NOT soapy, just fresh, summery) and some days it is quite bright citrus. It is SUCH a lovely base for SO many of my summer fragrances, both neroli based and citrus. Favorite layering combos; Coco Paradise from BBW, BR Neroli Woods (the neroli in this pulls somewhat 'soapy' on me, Glow helps it stay bright) and Balinese Coconut from Nest.

I ave no idea how they bottle solar notes but this really does smell like a sunny summer day. This opens clean and zesty like a really nice soap. I also smell sunscreen and the ocean.

Its smells very good. A deep clean and fresh one. I found myself going back to this more than Tom Fords Neroli. A head turner
