Bois d'Enfant

I am most of the way through my Maison Rebatchi Discovery set, and I think Bois d'Enfants may be the one I admire most. Bois d'Enfants is meant to capture the brand's founder's childhood memories of walking through a pine forest to reach the beach in a small town on France's northern Atlantic coast. The primary accords here are conifers and earthy wild berries, though i can distinguish the rose, freesia, iris, incense, and vanilla too. Sweet, but not too sweet! Very layered and absolutely lovely. I have the same feeling about Bois d'Enfants that I did about Feu Patchouli from the same house - I would love it if this were released as a mainline designer fragrance. It's super creative, it's unique, high quality, and smells great. But again, not something I'm dying to add to my collection. PS: Reminds me of Cartier's L'heure Folle - another oddball berry fragrance.

if you like fruity and floral, then this is the perfect one. its a luxuruious floral scent. its not to sweet. its oily on the skin wich makes it last really long. it may be a little bit overpriced, but i like it.

love everything about it, kinda pricey

The notes entirely do not correspond to my experience. Or the fir, vanilla and blackberry combination creates something completely unique. It is clean and fresh, yet warm, comforting and creamy. Also I am getting some nuts and perhaps a touch of green tea, so it reminds Attar Collection - Queen of Sheeba, only less potent or Mendittorosa - South, only less warm and nutty or Carner Barcelona - Tardes, only less clean. It it is still fresh, warm, nutty and clean. I would really like it, but performance is very poor - not long lasting with almost non-existent sillage... Upd: the more I wear it, the more I can feel the pine in it :)

Creamy, musky iris with a topcoat of poppin' fresh pink pepper, plus a smidge of rose and spritz of bergamot. The forest green base and bright red raspberry begins to peek through as it dries down, slowly phasing out the top notes. Super effervescent opening well balanced by its green woody base. Moderate protection for 2-3hr, longevity 12hr+.

It's pretty, uninspiring and uninteresting. There's nothing offensive here, but it's so bland. Immediately forgotten.

Abnostalgic and subtle mix of fruits and flower with a touch of wood. Very poetic and soothing, I really like this.

Cannot find anything “bois” which means “forest” in here. Just a tiny tree branch with some creamy-musky fruity-flowery favor.

A too light perfume of a too sweet syrup of blackberry with a touch of evergreen tree. not bad but nothing interesting

Fruity and aromatic opening, later joined by some green notes and a light, smoky quality which I'm guessing is the incense. I find it to be a rather strange blend honestly. It doesn't have any rough edges but the heart has some weird note which seems out of place. Perhaps it's the floral heart notes mixed with pine and incense which smell off. In any case, I get the black currant in here more than anything else. It's woody, but lightly so, but to me it's more of a floral-fruity fragrance with some woody accords. Overall it's nothing really special, nothing here which needs to be sampled and otherwise you're not missing out on much. If you enjoy unisex fruity fragrances I could see one liking this but otherwise it's fairly bland. Performance is okay for the first hour and then gradually becomes a standard skin scent. Average at best. 5/10

Bois d'Enfant opens with a spicy-sweet combination of jammy berries with a piquant pink pepper-incense blend. The latter prevents the fragrance from getting overly sweet, but may also come off as a little abrasive or jarring. There's also a slightly green woody note reminiscent of pine/fir trees hiding in the background, but it's not really noticeable. As it dries down, the underlying creamy vanillic tone comes to the forefront, smoothening out the scent. To my nose, it's far from woody as the name may suggest; it's more of a spicy-fruity scent. It's also not quite as reminiscent of nature as I would expect based on the founder's description of the fragrance as a recollection of the summers in his childhood years spent in the forests of France - but it's pleasant enough. Average longevity, below average projection.

بوآ دُن فُو یا شاخه کوچک عنوان عطریه که کانسپتش برمیگرده به زمان کودکی محمد رباطچی تو پارکی نزدیک خونه که تابستونها بازی میکرده . از اینکه دارم عطری رو تست میکنم که ی آدم از ناکجا آباد شرو ور تحویل مردم میده حس خوبی ندارم . بوآ دون فو عطری با حسی زنانست . ملایم . موسکی . چوبی . گلی . انگار روی الوار های تازه بریده شده از درخت کاج شاتوت و تمشک پخته شده بمالی . کور بویی از رز هم میشه توش احساس کرد بنظرم عطر جذابی نیست . خیلی ملایمه .هنوز یکساعت رو پر نکرده کاملا اسکین سنت میشه ‌. این عطر تقریبا شبیه عطر آمیتیس لالیک هست ولی بسیار ملایم تر با حس شیرینی خیلی کمتر

green aromatic yet somehow sweet and fruity too. Not similar to anything I've tried before. Really solid composition, definitely spring-summer season in mind. This is a good house for niche beginners. Very elegantly made and everything is unisex. So far very pleasant experience with this one. Will pick up a small bottle

Weird in a good way! Sweet, woody and sour at the same time, which only makes this zesty, fresh and vibrating. Too bad I can't tell anything about the drydown, cause this beauty is literally disappearing after 20 minutes. Literally. :(
