Rougewood

Rougewood is a very interesting fragrances for me as it start of sweet from the peach blossom mix with a hint of citrus from the pomelo, as it dry down the fruity sweetness still remain but the amberwood and caramel start to reveal itself which create a very warmth scent profile while adding a slight bit of creaminess from the caramel. As a man i really enjoy this fragrance even though it does lean slightly feminine, and i feel like this can be used for all season even though it is slightly warm.

Recuerda a Baccarat pero más floral. En la salida me recordó a Baccarat pero a continuación salen notas florales por lo que lo hace más fresco. Es dulce en el secado pero sin la pesadez de Baccarat, es más versátil y menos empalagoso. Tampoco tiene la nota metálica. Me gusta como alternativa más fresca, floral y original que Baccarat.

Bright fruity/citrus opening & then the caramel amberwoods in the dry down takes over.. it lingers & creates a great scent trail. Easy reach for the cooler months.

The opening is light and fruity and floral, while heavier amberwood and caramel notes become more prominent as it dries down. It seems to be fairly well-balanced and isn't too sweet. Performance is good, although I find that I go nose blind to it quite quickly. I'm not the biggest fan of amberwood, and I personally wouldn't wear this as it's too feminine leaning, but it does smell nice and is probably worth trying if you're into this kind of fragrance.

While it is in the same profile of BR540 it’s not exactly a dupe. It is more fruity and sweet making it more feminine leaning. It’s more of a “like” then a love. Great for the fall as it has a little of that warm spice trail to it.

Blech. The combination of black currant and caramel is gross to me. A definite no.

BR 540 in an alternate universe, where the elementals reside, where it’s slightly sweeter and has a bit of magical moss and bubbly fizzyness. It smells clean and mystical; almost fairy like. Unlike other “BR type dupes” that don’t ever smell like BR to me, this version is worth it! Callie Subtil by Orens Paris is very similar but that one has more amber and musk; can’t decide which one I like most between the two.

Not sure why this is getting compared to BR540, other than the ethyl maltol (caramel) note. BR540 is loaded with evernyl (oakmoss). And this has no oakmoss whatsoever. That said, this didn't impress me. While I love the bottle and packaging, this scent was just a little "been there, done that". All I got was another overdosed caramel scent. Wish the spiciness of the black currant came through more.

Delectable. A perfect woody amber with a caramel sweetness and fruitiness. Blended beautifully, very long wear and lovely sillage. This is mostly a fruit forward scent with the perfect balance of resinous, almost gourmand richness behind the fruit. The bottle is GORGEOUS- heavy and olde world.

This smells very similar to BR540, and I’m disappointed because I was hoping for a more floral/jammy scent. It does smell a bit like rose in the opening but the amber kicks in immediately and in the dry down, all I can smell is a less-smooth version of BR540.

I have the Greenwich Village Bond No. 9, and it reminds me of it so much although this fragrance more gentle and fresh and little more feminine

Just buy instant crush or red temptation zara this isn't original, unique or worth it when the others are so inexpensive.
