Amber Gaze

These fragrances are made without alcohol or solvents. I was directed to spray on the skin and rub in like a cream. I love Antoine Lie's creations and I think the white florals and the creamy sandalwood combine with the amber accord to make a beautiful combo. Quite long-lasting, too. Getting it for 25 percent off didn't hurt. :)

The color and viscosity of this fragrance freaks me out - it looks like strawberry nesquick. Besides that, this is a very amber resin heavy womens fragrance. Quite sweet and relies heavily on florals to try and round it out. The smell is kind of uninspiring, I guess that makes up for the presentation.

Dang! Man, I must have gotten a BAD batch. This smells gross! It smells like butt crack. Like someone that hasn't bathed for many days. Gag-able. Disgusting. After a while it mellows out a little, and you get more amber but... I am grossed out.

Absolutely not for me. Smells like nursing homes. The powder is strong with this one, but instead of it being light a la Delina, it's heavy and not sexy.

This is a true unisex amber scent. It went on a little bizarrely, I think due to the contrast of the amber used with violet and white florals. It’s a cold spicy amber in the dry down, but the spices do not smell like kitchen spices to me (I dislike the cumin and bay in Ambre Sultan) and the tolu balsam does take center stage. I smelled it around me for a few hours before it became a skin scent. I do not know of anything else quite like this. Worth sampling if you can. I think I will continue to try it out more, but so far not FBW for me.
