66 Avenue

Today I received my big 200ml flask of 66 Avenue Maïssa. After trying the first random puffs I had to agree that I was in a presence of a very, very similar fragrance to BR 540 EDP although with a higher essence discharge. The Maïssa fragrance is distributed in elixir concentration and I believe that its performance is even superior to the Kurkdjian Eau de Parfum fragrance. Actually, in what concerns longevity and sillage, the fragrance is a pair with the Extrait de Parfum version of the Kurkdjian fragrance. As far as the scent is concerned, I also could only tell it barely apart from the more expensive Baccarat Rouge version. In the Maïssa fragrance, I just don't detect in it the bitter almond undertone that distinguishes the two original BR 540 versions, apart from their concentration. My first approach to this still infant house of Maïssa left me with an undeniable curiosity about other possible fragrant achievements. The presentation is quite nice and both ingredients, flask, sprayer and round, white cardboard box, are made with care and demonstrate superior quality. I am really convinced that this brand must deserve essays on their other perfumes. I'll keep in touch about this particular fragrance after a full use test of it.

I love this fragrance!! Its a very sexy cloud of fluffy sweet woods that surrounds me. A beautiful pink dream. It does smell extremely close to br., But, i like this one better, its a love for me!

I am completely nose blind to this fragrance, I get none of the notes listed, after reading other reviews I have to say I wish I could smell what they are smelling. Packaging and presentation is excellent though. I had never heard of this fragrance house before I purchased this fragrance but they look like a quality brand.

شروع ای نسبتا آروم که در ادامه قراره حسابی شلوغ کاری کنه به تعبیر خودم؛بعد از اسپری مولکول های دُرشت عطر به سختی به پرواز درمیان و به مشام می رسند اما تقریبا بعد از نیم ساعت،هیاهو ای از شکست مولکول های درشت ایجاد میشه که میلیون ها مولکول معطر به بینی می رسند در ابتدا رایحه ای نسبتا شیرین با تم ماسکی و کمی انیمالیک حس میشه که خیلی شبیه به باکارات نیست اما با گذشت زمان متوجه میشید که این عطر هم مثل صدها کپی دیگه،هیچ خلاقیت و جاذبه ای ایجاد نکرده و صرفا از روی دست کرکجیان تقلب کرده چند دقیقه بعد از اسپری،رایحه زعفران رو به خوبی میشه حس کرد که در درجه اول اسپایسی و در درجه دوم کارکتر ای نیمه چرمی داره و در این مقطع شیرینی عطر هم بیشتر میشه رایحه پویا و غیر خطی ای نداره و به جز چند تغییر کوچک،اتفاق چشمگیر ای داخل اش نمی افته ماندگاری خیلی خوبی روی پوست داره و روی پیراهن کلافه کننده است و وایب اسانسی هم شاید ازش بگیرید هیچ نکته مثبت ای نداشت و در نهایت باید بگم حیف پول ***************** scent:5.5/10 longevity:9/10 sillage:9/10 purchase value:1/10 ******** overall:6.1/10

I wanted to like this, but the ambroxan is just too much for me here. My husband sampled it as well, and also found it too strong. I haven't tried BR540, but I can see how this is in the same family as Cloud (which I do own) - it is sweet and woody too. it you're an ambroxan fan, I think this could be really great especially as the longevity is over 12 hours! The notes on the website are: Top notes : Jasmine Sambac Absolute, Saffron, Tagete. Heart notes : Caramel, White Wood. Base notes : Ambroxan, Dry Wood, Oak Moss. Although I must agree that sugar is the heart note as I don't get caramel.

I don't believe I received the wrong sample of BCR 540, but in my opinion, BCR 540 and 66 Avenue have absolutely nothing in common when it comes to their notes on the skin. While BCR 540 is rather intense upon application but later settles into a soft and noticeably high-quality blend (unfortunately, it doesn’t last very long—just a few hours), 66A is more like a fragrance explosion, and not in a good way. It lasts so endlessly that you wish a perfume remover had been invented. If you want to be the person whose scent arrives miles before you do and completely overpowers everything around you, then you might actually like this one. (And not necessarily in the sense of, “Oh wow, what a high-quality and enchanting fragrance cloud floating here,” but rather in the sense of, “Whose perfume just kicked the door open?”—as people start looking around for the fragrance offender.)

I think my sample from Luckyscent boiled in my mailbox, or something. This sounds like it should smell good, but it smells like cheap cologne. I will have to try this again some time.

Baccarat rouge dupe, a little bit floral. Overall a good scent, especially if you like the OG.
