Magic Moment

Blind buy 🙈 success 😍 I'm just thumps-upping(?) on the reminds me of section, because this smells exactly like GON, Scandal by Night and Prada Paradoxe mixed together... I have all 3 btw - well I didn't know it would smell like this - instead of the pistachio you'll get coconut but not in a suntan lotion type. Smells divine to me, super feminine in my opinion, but if you like the perfumes mentioned you'll definitely enjoy this one

I don’t have anything that smells like this. It’s really unique. You really get the honey and caramel right upfront and throughout the whole experience of this fragrance. The honey is the most strong imo. I don’t get much of any coconut except for a very slight waxiness/creaminess but I do get a lot of Orange Blossom with the honey. This isn’t listed but I could swear this has patchouli along with some woody notes and amber. It’s very syrupy and sweet and the patchouli/sweetness reminds me the tiniest bit of Angel but no where NEAR as strong or as dirty. But it’s not light either it’s quite bold. I definitely see the comparison to Scandal by Night which is a honey/sweet/patchouli fragrance and quite close to it but minus the cherry/almond facets. But, this one still contains enough of its own vibe to be truly unlike anything else.

Initially I had a very odd relationship with this perfume, ended up doing a total 180 on it. I left a previous unfavorable review that I had to delete, because after backing off of my decant for a month, I tried it again and fell in love, with a newly acquired full bottle to show for it. What I didn't like about Magic Moment was its intense camphoraceous quality, coming from the white woods accord. Smelled like straight menthol. Even my husband, unprompted, said I smelled like menthol when I walked by him wearing this. For whatever reason, I've accepted this heavily cold, ozonic nature of the white woods, and thoroughly enjoy just how sweet and beautifully done the caramel-jasmine duo is in this blend. It's elegant and I actually crave it, now.

This is a very well-disguised aquatic/watery vanilla. For something in a similar vein, but more floral, try Hibiscus Mahajad by Maison Crivelli.
