TOP: dog poo fecal MID: intensely woody BASE: juicy berries Yeah... I'm really going to have to disagree about there being nothing barnyard or fecal about this, because on first spray I was punched in the nose with a huge dose of fresh dog poo. Fortunately, it's more of a top note and dies down quicker than the other accords. The mid is dominated by a very intense woody accord that is a bit dark, slightly medicinal, oddly has both dry and damp qualities, and smells a bit like sawdust. It's a real deep, foresty oud. The base is really good stuff. Smells strongly of cranberries, some grapes/blueberries, and a hint of tart cherries. When I first opened the package I can tell that some leaked out of the bottle and went into the foam interior, and it smelled delicious! Overall this stuff smells WAY better in the air than up close because of the strong fecal smell. From a distance the fecal accord is just enough to add a bit of character and intrigue. Definitely a masculine scent. Everything comes together to paint a mental picture that you're smelling the WHOLE tree from the poo-ridden soil to the wood, a bit of the leaves, to the juicy fruits. I'm going to be using this as a layering tool to add an extra bit of dimension and oomph to a few of my scents. Although it may not be to everyone's tastes, I can see why this is Iterji's highest selling perfume.
