Imperial Vanilla

I was really excited to get this when I saw a review for this talking about how good it was and how nice of a vanilla it was. I won’t lie, was disappointed when I got it, sprayed it, and found it was basically Vanilla 28 in a different bottle. Don’t get me wrong, though, Vanilla 28 is one of my favorite perfumes, but I wasnt expecting this to smell like Vanilla 28, especially since there is no patchouli listed in the notes for this fragrance but it’s definitely there and prominent in the opening just like with Vanilla 28. After trying V28 and this one side by side, I do find that this is just a tad sweeter than Vanilla 28 and it may project more, but do you need this one if you already have Vanilla 28? No, definitely not. If you’re trying to decide between the two, though, I think I would choose this one. I’m wearing Imperial Vanilla on one arm and Vanilla 28 on the other. After an hour, they’re still nearly identical but I’d say Imperial Vanilla is still smelling a lot stronger and projecting more than the Vanilla 28. If you love V28 but struggle with the longevity, you may love this one more. A couple notes from my nose. I don’t detect any rose at all, which I am happy about. I definitely am getting patchouli in the opening, just like with Vanilla 28. Shes beautiful and sophisticated. She’s sweet, she’s vanilla, she’s sexy. If you hate V28, I definitely would not blind buy this because they’re nearly identical. Overall, I’ll keep both, because I do love it.

Majouri’s Imperial Vanilla is a masterpiece — and no one can convince me otherwise. On my skin, it’s a dark, almost smoky vanilla: hypnotic, sensual, and incredibly refined. It feels more mature and multidimensional than most of my other vanillas, yet remains effortlessly elegant. There’s sweetness, but it’s never syrupy or cloying — instead, it’s deep, warm, and slightly spicy. At first, I was surprised to notice a strong patchouli note that made the opening feel a bit chaotic. Patchouli isn’t listed in the notes and it’s not usually my favorite, but after about two hours it faded into the background, leaving a smooth and enveloping vanilla. Over time, the patchouli settled beautifully and now balances the fragrance perfectly. I don’t detect rose or jasmine at all. Longevity is excellent — easily over 8 hours on my skin and much longer on clothes. It layers beautifully with almost any perfume, adding warmth and softness. Completely unisex in my opinion, Imperial Vanilla is simply sophistication bottled. I think it works best during the colder months. Would not recommend blind buying this, but you should definitely give this one a shot, if you’re looking for a more sophisticated vanilla! This one will always be in my collection for sure.

Finally! A vanilla to make you go weak in the knees, without breaking the bank! Price to quality, this is a 10/10 for me. I see many comparisons to Kayali Vanilla 28, and I would have to strongly disagree. Vanilla 28 is high pitched and musky, and leans more gourmand whereas Vanilla Imperial is smoother, rich and ventures more into an aromatic vanilla territory. The caramel note beneath the florals is so buttery and smooth, so much so that it can almost be mistaken for a creamy orris butter note. Though note listed in the notes, there is definitely a friendly, inoffensive resin/balsam accord lingering in the background which pulls this even closer to the likes of Guerlain SDV, Byredo Vanille Antique, Arabian Oud Tarteel Silver, or Coty Encore un Fois. If you love the aforementioned, then this needs to be on your shelves.

Absolutely divine!! I've had this now for maybe 2 months (?) and I'm almost finished my bottle because all I want to do is smell this everywhere. My blanket, my clothes, etc. This is OPULENCE in a bottle. Pure vanilla and brown sugar. I get none of the other notes. I agree that this does smell like Choo Vanilla Love but that is a whisper compared to this one. It also smells like Kayali Vanilla 28 without the patch and 10x stronger. I just ordered another bottle. This will ALWAYS be in my collection as long as I can obtain it. Love. 10/10. I love to layer this with Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli. Also this layers beautifully with Ledda Bourbon Brulee. This one also amps up the vanilla in Kheir 7 Minutes which is another 🔥 10/10 perfume. If you love vanilla, this is a no brainer. Just get it.

Very underrated vanilla floral perfume. I thought it’s be like roses vanilla but the vanilla on this perfume is sweeter. Kind of has the same vibe as Kay Ali vanilla perfume but this is more floral. The roses on this perfume is very light as first I wasn’t sure what floral note was on this perfume, but I do get floral note. It gives this perfume an airy vibe. The projection and longevity is great it last all day. I think this perfume would be a great perfume for all age types as long as like floral and vanilla notes.

Love from the first sniff! This is a sweet vanilla, but the sweetness calms down a bit during dry down. It has some fresh flowery and even fruity notes but thank goodness I don’t pick any rose. I could definitely imagine wearing this all seasons, but maybe as an evening scent in the hotter months. For me this is like Kayali Vanilla 28 and Silk Santal had the most beautiful baby, and even much better than that! This is absolutely stunning.

If you like Vanilla 28, this is a pretty safe blind buy. They share a similar vibe, though they’re not identical. Imperial Vanilla is softer, sweeter and even a little floral. While Vanilla 28 is a bit musky, heavier, ambery.

This is lovely and is similar to Vanilla 28 but better. I feel like some woody base notes are missing from the breakdown. Sweeter than Vanilla 28 with better performance and smells higher quality. She's a keeper.

Absolutely fabulous, sophisticated vanilla perfume. It has such a rich, pleasantly sweet, multidimensional vanilla profile. When sprayed a lot, I can sense caramel much more. I am in love with this scent. 🙂

A warm vanilla perfume... Gourmand, sexy, bold, cosy! Mature and elegant for a vanilla scent. I recommend.

I love this one: perfect fall/winter scent. It's a smell of Apfelstrudel.

My christmas gift, it’s a LOVE !

When I first tried it I hated it so much. My skin chemistry tends to make smoky notes very prominent and so when I sprayed this on my skin it smelled very smoky and woody. No vanilla in sight and absolutely not gourmand so I was very disappointed. I let my sample sit for a couple of weeks and tried it again: this time it was love at first sniff! It was a gourmand yet sophisticated and sexy vanilla that projected well and lasted for two days on my clothes. I hate vanilla 28 so I would not compare the 2 even I see why they can be similar (there's a warmth and a burtn sugar side in both). I think you can wear all year round as it is not a cloying perfume. It will be comforting in winter and very alluring during a hot summer night.

This is primarily mono-note, I was unable to purchase a decant since they did not have the full bottle in store. It is nice, and for its price I am sure people will love this. However, it is not very interesting and on paper it took a while to stand out, I did not smell it at all at first. But then it is a lovely vanilla and if you have very persistent skin that holds fragrance I am sure you would love this - it is a more mature version of Bianco Latte.

Imperial Vanilla is a really great vanilla, especially for the price. It reminds me of Trudon 45 degrees. It has that same sort-of funkiness that Trudon lists as Honey in 45 degrees. I will definitely enjoy my 5mL decant, but I won't likely buy more since I have plenty of vanillas that I like more.

You cant smell the rose. I normally dislike rose, so its okay. This is similar to Vanilla 28, but it is more floral /mature because of the rose. I like Vanilla 28 better, but as a Vanilla lover I enjoy this.

This has certain facets that Kayali Vanilla 28 has but it’s far more sophisticated and discreet than Vanilla 28. I was hoping the Rose and Jasmine notes would have been more prominent in Imperial Vanilla. There’s more sweet notes and ambery deeper notes in it than floral. On my skin, it also has woods-y, smoke-y and tobacco aspects that make this fragrance almost masculine...but that’s my skin, not yours. On others, it’s a totally different ball game, I’m sure. As I said earlier, it’s not a bomb, it’s quite discreet and quiet making this perfect for the office. I like it but not enough to have it in my collection. Not when I already have bangers such as Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain or Black Tie by Céline. Both of these aren’t necessarily the same as Imperial Vanilla but they are far better Vanilla frags that are superior in quality, projection and overall scent wise. Worth a try though ✨

Not what I expected. If you are thinking this is vanilla 28, let me tell you, it is NOT! The floral overpowers the sugary vanilla aspect one would expect. The vanillin gives it a weird synthetic lotion-y smell not the true vanilla pod smell. Dries down EXACTLY like a floral vanilla scented body lotion. This is EXACTLY the same as Vanilla Bean Dream by Barrett Fragrances. No brand can dupe or copy Kayali's Vanilla28. Tiktok overhyped this and most of them got it for free, stuck with a full brand new bottle. If you enjoy floral vanillas with a lotion-y feel, you are in for a treat!

Well, people are talking here about Nobel rich vanilla. Why? It's even specified in the pyramid, it's vanillin, and it really smells like this artificial baking vanillin. If you are looking for thick, stringy dark vanilla, then this is not the fragrance you need. At the same time, the composition is pleasant, sweet, but not gourmand. I could even imagine it on a man. I don't smell any roses or jasmine at all.

I agree, it’s a lot like Vanilla28 but I like this one more. Vanilla28 feels a bit artificial to me and a bit too heavy. Imperial Vanilla is more mature and grounded version of that [Vanilla 28]. I do like the addition of tonka bean, it gives this “Arabian” feel to it without going the standard lataffa / oud vibe (no offense). I prefer this one definitely more and I’m glad with it!

This is a dead on dupe of Kayali’s Vanilla 28, primarily a sweet brown sugar and vanilla scent. So if you already own the Kayali or a dupe of it, Imperial Vanilla will be redundant.

Smells identical to Jimmy Choo’s Vanilla Love. Stop hunting vanilla love and get this instead. You are welcome
