#1560 in my "Tour de Fragrance" As leather scents go this one's not particularly a standout. Very herbal, more suede than leather. If you removed the raspberry from Tom Ford "Tuscan Leather", or any of it's two dozen clones out there, this is what it would probably smell like. Having gotten over raspberry as a note myself (after about the tenth or eleventh Tuscan Leather wannabe), I'm fine having no raspberry note, but is what's left worth wearing? It's not the price. This stuff is cheap. It's not the quality. The quality is fine. It's all the rosemary and thyme, primary ingredients that infuse every classic slow cooker stew you can name. I put them in the Instant Pot of tropical lentil stew I made just last week, and if this scent had the pineapple and mangos I put in that stew you might have something here. I like beef stew, chicken stew, vegetable stew, I'm just not sure smelling like stew will be attractive to anyone. It does approve after an hour or so, but I think there's a better way to go. There is a somewhat similar scent to this, but rounded out with woods, by Profumo di Firenze, called, "Cuoio." You still have an herbal leaning leather scent, but with birch, sandalwood, cedar and tonka. It doesn't come across as midday desert dry as this stuff as it has rose and magnolia notes instead of the jasmine. Cost can be double to triple the cost of this Majouri, but I think you'd find it way more interesting. Good Luck and Good Hunting!
