Plumeria

I agree that it smells similar to the old BBW plumeria, but it's much more beautiful. It doesn't have the high alcohol content of that body spray, and it also smells so much more natural and high quality. There's a beautiful peach note that accompanies the plumeria. What I don't understand is all the reviews on the Nordstrom site saying it has poor longevity. I applied the spray version in the evening, and it not only lasted all evening but was still mildly present in the morning. That's pretty good longevity for a floral. Perhaps others had problems with longevity with the oil. Very happy with this natural smelling plumeria. I've been searching for one that was a good representation of the blossom. I love Hawaii, and this reminds me of it.

I've been on the hunt for a good plumeria/frangipani scent for a while. Unfortunately this wasn't it. To my nose, this is a suffocatingly loud, synthetic peach bomb with a vague hint of something floral in the background. Hopeful that things might improve in the drydown, I suffered through several hours of mild peach-induced nausea to no avail - I still couldn't find the plumeria, and the peach refused to release its vice-like grip. I ended up giving it to my mother, who loves it. Go figure.

I just came back from Hawaii, and I purchased this fragrance while I was out there. The sales associate said it's their most popular scent, and I can see why. If you're looking for a perfume to go with your Bath and Body Works Plumeria products, this is 100% it. It brought me right back to when I was in my early 20's. This perfume smells exactly like their version of plumeria BEFORE they brought it back (reformulated). Anyway, gorgeous!! The body creme is amazing too.
