Cannabis Perfume Oil

This is a bright and uplifting oil scent in the top to middle notes. It does have vibes of cannabis, like smelling a less pungent cannabis flower and getting that similar uplifting feeling, but without actual cannabis in it. Instead it is a very aromatic and refreshing scent that I could imagine would be good any season or time of day. Even without actual cannabis, it cheers me up and uplifts me the same way as smelling actual cannabis flower would. This sensation lasts awhile before fleeting and then disappears leaving the woodsy base notes. I believe this is the floral middle notes of magnolia. The base notes are very clean and remind me of one of the essential oil mixes I'd make myself. This is a very clean smelling fragrance without heavy synthetic vibes at all. There is maybe one synthetic note in the top that gives it a more masculine character. Almost a hint of barbershop but not quite a barbershop note. It may be from the citrus middle notes. It has a very green and *high* quality scent that surprised me in how nice it is to get whiffs from it throughout the day. The mid to base notes lasted pretty long due them being high quality citrus and woods.

i love this. got it as a trial with scentbird. i want to purchase the whole bottle, but I cannot afford the big spray bottle at $140 on ebay. However, the $50 oil they sell on their website and Amazon is curious as it is supposedly more concentrated and strong as an oil. In the trial spray form that I have, I find my nose gets used to the scent pretty quick so sometimes I spray every 1-3 hours. I'm not sure if I'm over doing it, but I just like to smell it more. I find it interesting that they named it Cannabis. I'm curious if they found Cannabis to be of similar scents. Cannabis is a beautiful medicine that has helped many including myself. This definitely reminds me of fresh plant, some aquatic features, fresh, citris, bergamot, patchoulli , magnolia and i slightly smell the sandalwood. I love sandalwood! I look forward to smelling more of this companies perfumes. I do wish it was more affordable, tho. Thanks to Malin and Goetz.

Not usually something I go for but delightful nonetheless. While this smells nothing like weed, I can see the relevance of the name. It's herbal and smoky, yet fresh- a bracing, muddled citrus, paired with a woody herbal incense note. Most scents don't last long on my skin, or I go nose blind, but this one I can smell all day. The oil does seem to be longer lasting than the spray. It's potent for the first few hours, and then becomes a nice, persistent skin scent. It definitely leans masculine, but isn't stereotypically masculine. And even when the smoky base notes come through, there is still a hint of citrus to brighten it up. It is definitely a modern scent, though I feel like I've smelled similar fragrances, maybe from contemporary urban brands like Aesop or Le Labo (though it's more of a similar vibe than a dupe of anything.)

Every time I walk past my co-worker's candle, I can't resist shoving my nose in. This oil doesn’t have the same addictive quality, but still draws you in. Wonder how the Eau de Parfum compares? Loamy, mossy forest with a spicy bite from dry peppercorn. If there’s citrus, it’s bitter pith buried under smoky sandalwood incense. Strong performer. Normal application filled a large room so much that co-workers instantly commented. My signature scent for years due how unique, edgy, and evocative of nature it is. EDIT: The EDP pales in comparison. Lesser in almost every way. Don't bother.

Really nice green scent that you could wear everyday. As others have said it doesn’t really smell like weed but it still has great smoky, grassy and peppery notes. On my skin this oil lasts a really long time, especially when compared to other perfume oils. Would definitely recommend, perfect for warm spring days.

a beautifully dry, almost dusty patchouli and citrus combo resting on a solid woody base. this smells identical to the eau de parfum sample i have, but in a much better format that's perfect for lighter applications to your arms, back of the hands, or your beard.

Very beautiful citrus spicy and Green-Smokey combination. Very true to its name. Semi-Dry, stimulating and addictive. Great lasting power as well. Works beautifully in cold nights or in a temperature controlled environment

I love this as a layering base! I am not a ouid enthusiast by any means but this is amazing. I usually pair with daisy wild and it smells so herby and sweet and delicious highly recommend

this has been my summer scent for the last few months. it blends well with sweat and heat. to me its a peppery citrus to start, which turns incense-y as it dries.

I am really enjoying this fragrance as it eschews a masculine element. It's woodsy, sensual, and lasts for ages. Pairs well with citrus-y products!

At the opening I got more fuzzy, slightly floral patchouli. Wish it stuck around longer. After about thirty minutes I'm left with a woody citrus. Reminds me of Terre d'Hermes with it's orange and sharp pepper but less of the mineral vibe. Some of that typical man cologne smell here; can't pick out much fig. It doesn't smell much at all like cannabis the plant. I was excited at the opening but it got stale quickly. Pretty good performance and impressive longevity. Cannabis lasted all day on me. I'd say unisex leaning masculine. Suitable for most occasions but not really sexy; has some of that mass appealing cleanliness. Pricey for a scent that's not too interesting in my opinion. I'm not a fan of Terre d'Hermes so I don't care for this. Not bad but nothing special.

idk what i was thinking when i bought this. €36 for 9ml of perfume..... it’s really not worth it. i bought it over 6 months ago and barely ever reach for it. it’s zingy and fresh; very invigorating with a great longevity. but it’s nothing outstanding. if you adore this fragrance and want to carry it with you everywhere you go, then obviously it’s worth having. but i can’t imagine anyone falling head over heels for this scent..

Bought this for my partner as an anniversary and out of all of their stuff this is what I steal the most lol. Super lowkey hemp + citrus that evolves to be greener over time, super sexy and androgynous. They always get lots of compliments on it from friends, parents and random people. Very safe blind buy if these types of scents are your sort of thing.

barely a cannabis perfume, evokes the idea of hemp. very clean. good fresh professional herbal scent. less cannabis in the sense of cultivating or consuming it, and more in the sense of purchasing an overpriced woven hemp basket from an interior design store with a lot of beige and white.

I agree, NOT an expensive smelling perfume. It’s a nice, common citrus perfume with a little wispy patchouli. I’ve tried so many perfumes these past few years, it may have impressed me when I first started the perfumista journey, but it doesn’t do much for me. Too dull.

smells a bit like lemon wet wipes (as some other people have said) for the first half hour on my skin, but then i get a bit of the sandalwood and something sweet and peppery. unfortunately still prominently smells like lemon wipes for a long time, which is really sad bc i loved this in store. maybe it’s my skin chemistry that makes it go really sour on me?

I'm biased because it was the 1st malin and goetz fragrance I tried and it was a candle. So I had like 80 hours of burn time to settle on it. I like the fragrance. It is one of those one's that you can't quite put your finger on what you are smelling but are ok with that. I don't know where you come up with Oriental or woody or whatever. I also find the term "oriental" to describe anything as offensive just like calling all people "Asian." But... it must be said, the malin and goetz line is not a $160 a bottle offering. In fact it reminds me more of something from Bath and Body works, or Lush in Australia. Not to mention the false advertising naming it after an illegal narcotic. I guess try the oil, it's more affordable but you'd be nuts to pay $160 for the parfum. The candle is also a more affordable option.

Here to say that I have bought it x3 times as a gift for my female friends who all adore it! We live in big, busy cities and this perfume oil is a victory over the cacophony of pollution! This also doubles up as an energising pick me up in office, similar to the effect that grapefruit aromatherapy essential oils have. Energetic and stimulating. I find that it performs wonderfully, and when purchased on offer from the M&G website it is worth every single penny.

Oriental and fresh; Juicy without being melony. It’s multi-faceted in its use; starts off a little obvious but dries down nicely into Something more complex. I don’t have the knowledge to identify specific notes but there are some familiar ones in there - I don’t think it would invite any WTF IS THAT!? reactions. I like this on me more than I would on a woman I think. And it smells nothing like cannabis.

I like this oil. It's reminiscent of sandalwood to me, although I'm sure it's a vibe instead. It is made up of slightly bitter citruses, sort of a juicy (clean patchouli) resinous vibe and a nice woody character. It's not like most spray scents-- unique and enjoyable. I don't know about the cannabis name, but it can give a hint.

Pleasant enough but far from the magical scent I grew to love in the M+G Cannabis candle... Regretful blind buy considering the price tag and poor performance. Edit: This review is for the EDP, not the perfume oil.

Good stuff, an out of ordinary scent. I love the fig with the patchouli, it gave it a nice sharp kick. this is definitely unisex.

Smells exactly like Jimmy choo. Was definitely not expecting that.
