Moroccan Fig

Yeah I can see how the opening would be a little kookie if you are not a huge fan of vegital green. Its like you are snapping green peppers of the garden stalk and having a bite. I love it. After the first 10 minutes of crunchy green, the fig leaf takes center stage. Its got the same vibe as Philosykos, but I think its cranked up a bit. Its got better projection on me and lasts better. Might be a bit rougher around the edges but I kinda like that. Its got a bit more of a woody fig tone than philoskos, allong the lines of Hermes Jardin Med. Lasted all day on me, turning from a bitter sappy snaped steam into a creamy coconut under palm fronds. If you love fig leaf (no figgy jam here) and can handel vegital and bitter scents this might be for you.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. This is a deeply moving, utterly amazing scent. I own a lot of fragrances, but this is almost too good for my collection. It's astounding - very green and fresh - good lord, milky sweet, but so subtly - so fresh, so fern and skin. Absolutely brilliant. Really clever. Screw the comparisons below - go and get this on you, it's a live one.

I love figs. Love to eat them, smell them, prepare dishes that include them... So when I saw the note profile of this scent I just knew it would be perfect for me. The opening is citrusy fresh and a bit minty to my nose although mint isn’t listed in the scent’s pyramid. Heart notes soon become prevalent with the ripe sweet fig stepping to the fore. I do not get the coconut from this fragrance at all although there is a vague creaminess at dry down that may be explained by the coconut’s presence. Each time I’ve worn this I did get compliments and my partner absolutely loves it on me. Those are all the good points. The bad part is that there is something here that just doesn’t agree with my olfactory senses. After a few hours of wearing this wonderful smelling concoction, my nose itches and burns and I can literally ‘taste’ the chemicals of this eau de toilette in the back of my throat as if I’d drank from the bottle. I wanted to love this and do love how it smells, but not being able to enjoy it as intended, I ended up giving my bottle to a friend.

Got this at tj maxx for $30, hard to pass up. The first few times I sprayed seemed super similar to Philosykos— good blind buy if you’re a fan. Would have to agree with the person who said this is like a neutered version, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. I think it has potential for layering. Not as creamy and juicy as Philosykos, super green and dry. Hint of rubberiness but in a good way imo. Not picking up on the green pepper note. Sits close to the skin. Mediocre longevity.

This is an interesting scent. I dont really like or dislike it - pretty neutral. To me it smells like burnt rubber mixed with coconut cupcakes lol. Thats the only way I can explain it. It is like a milder version of Fat Electrician to me. I plan to wear this more and I am sure it will grow on me. I just got a month supply from scentbird.

Moroccan Fig smells like a neutered version of Diptyque Philosykos. I was hoping for a coconut scent similar to Viirgin Island Water; however, this is a long-lasting and realistic plant-like fig. It's too realitic for me. If you enjoy Diptyque Philosykos and Armani Fig, then you could eaisly blind-buy Moroccan Fig. It's very unisex, but who wants to smell like a fig plant all day? I think the fragrance would be better suited as a scented candle. Don't get me wrong, it's a very unique and natural smell, but there is no coconut. As with Philoskykos Diptyque, I think this would be better suited on a woman. Armani Fig is excellent on a man. This is one of the highest quality scents I have ever smelled. It's 100% linear and an explosion of fig. I find it very green and extremely aromatic. Philosky Diptyque is more dense and sweet....more ripe and vegetal. Moroccan Fig is a lighter verion but still very much prominent and long lasting. It has that "sour fig" note with a touch of natural sweetness. In my opinion, the Moroccan Fig demographic would fit beautifully on women in their 30's & 40's. It simply gives me a headache.

I think ChrisSmellsGood is close... But I would say it smells like fresh rubber and not burnt rubber, and coconut. Like a brand new basketball, but the rubber smell goes away eventually. It also smells leafy and fresh but still slightly sweet (figgy I suppose) and is incredibly unique. After having this for several months and finishing up my sample from Scentbird, I have grown a wee bit addicted to this, although I wouldn't say that I love it. It is just really interesting and I like it. I am not sure that I even want to smell like it. I think I just want to keep smelling the bottle. I want more, but I would never purchase a bottle. Too expensive for something that I only like in this strange way.

Let me preface this by saying there are not a whole lot of scents that I just absolutely hate. Most I would at least say they're "Nice, but not my taste". This one.....I HATE. I can't stand the smell, it is absolutely dreadful and nauseating. It reminds me of body odor. I put it on and in less than 15 minutes I was scrubbing to get it off. I couldn't stand it. This is a pass for me.

If you can wait past the crunchy green opening, this is a beautifully soft milky fig coconut with cedar. It’s great. Never thought I’d get to experience this scent, it looked like it had been long discontinued, but the local tj maxx had one 3.4 oz bottle for 29.99. Check out those types of stores if you’re looking for it, it’s easily worth the 30$.

This is an absolutely gorgeous scent! I cannot for the life of me, understand why anyone would dislike it! This smells very similar to Votivo's Moroccan Fig candle...I had searched everywhere for a similar scent.

I'll Keep it short & sweet. The opening on this sucked, but the dry down was Amazing! Crazy how it leaves much to desire in the beginning, only to truly fulfill 30-45 min later!!

Summer in a bottle...period. This a clean green smile machine. Absolutely love it! Now, just have to convince Malin + Goetz to re-release it.
