Jiz

Utterly bizarre. And, ok, perverts, this perfume is pronounced “Heeth” in European Spanish. (Yes, I did have a chuckle myself because I, too, am a bit puerile.) There is a bright, sparkling, sour lemon juice as soon as the perfume hits skin and it accents a super bitter, rindy, pithy, oily orange zest. A broad swath of immortelle lays underneath. There is a very sharp and incongruous angularity to how the orange and immortelle are juxtaposed. This smells the way a Picasso painting looks. Nothing smells like it is where it “should be” and where they overlap has a very curious asymmetrical feeling. The curry aspect of immortelle is dialed way back in this absolute, presenting more earthy warmth than heavy cooking spices. The galbanum lurks quietly in the background as a sweet green pea note, the primer layer of paint for the angular oddities to be applied to. The oud, if that is what I’m smelling, is one of the most subtle and nuanced oud materials I have ever smelled - again, if, indeed, I am smelling it. Distinguishing it from the bitter and oily orange and the earthy, woody, and warm immortelle is actually quite difficult, but it is the canvas upon which all of these paints are applied, a deep, woody, and earthy canvas. This is art, not a perfume. JIZ defies categorization, and defies you to understand it. Like a Picasso painting it doesn’t make much sense for a lot of the time you look at it, but you can’t tear yourself away from it. My thoughts on this perfume are quite short for me, and particularly for a Mallo, but there is not much more I can say. What is there to say when you’re left scratching your head? Do I pose a lot of rhetorical questions? Do I repeat myself over and over, finding different ways of describing perplexity? Nope. I’m just going to sit here and quietly observe. Maybe that’s what I’m supposed to be doing after all.

A striking and somewhat mysterious citrusy gourmand centered around a lovely Andalusian orange absolute. This central note is first surrounded by immortelle and then with some light spices and galbanum. It finally settles on a base of Malaysian oud. A dense citrus infused experience the unisex scent has moderate to strong sillage and good longevity. A perfume to transport you instantly to a Mediterranean citrus grove. Enjoy! Got the chance to try it. Not sure what i expected it to smell like but it smells like some minty, fruity bubblegum. I like it :)

Never smelled this "juice". I hate that word on fragrantica, but here it's appropriate. "Jiz" in British English means spunk, cum, sperm, wank juice, baby batter, spaff. What the actual fucketty fuck was happening in that circle jerk of a bukkake marketing meeting? "What about cock snot? No? OK - love custard? Still no? I know. Two sprays of jiz behind the ears, anyone?" "oh yes... Fantastic.... Mmmm cillage of jiz - I love it!"

The Spanish pronunciation for the letter "j" sounds like H... so, in essence, this word's pronunciation sounds more like "his" or "hiz"...coming from the brands Spanish heritage (Spain), =)
