Amber Fever

Wow. This fragrance has really grown on me over the last two weeks. It’s not at all what I expected. When I initially sprayed it, I was actually kinda disappointed. It smelled very similar to a Chanel fragrance to me, which is not bad, but not what I expected. For days, I sprayed it and stared at the notes to make sense of it. I think it may have been the powdery accord that was throwing me off. I honestly wish that would’ve been replaced with maybe an Almond or milky, lactonic accord. But two weeks later— That caramel is extremely prominent and every once in a while, I’ll get a whiff of the whiskey. This is so sweet and delicious. The more time I spend with it, the more I understand it. I’ve seen comparisons to Instant Crush— which I don’t get from this at all. Like... at all. Though, when layered, they work really nicely together. I also like to layer Amber Fever with Angels’ Share, Choco Musk, By The Fireplace or Apres by Ellis Brooklyn. However, when this bottle runs out, I don’t necessarily see myself rushing to immediately replace it, but I would, at some point, 100% repurchase and I do like it a lot. I’m curious to see how it wears during the warmer months! 7/18/2022 UPDATE: One day about a month or so ago, I wore this and for whatever reason just was not feeling it that day and hadn’t touched it since. After leaving this alone for a while, buying/wearing other fragrances— I came back to it TODAY. Probably no more than 10 minutes ago. And WOW. Gorgeous. I wore BR540 EX this morning and was going back to my tray (8:00PM) to respray. (btw, I can see why people are *reminded* of BR540 when they smell Amber Fever. Because of the sugary sweet, airy quality. But it’s a lot more powdery and “deep” than BR540, however Instant Crush is indeed very similar to BR540..... anyway....) I sprayed both. This is such a beautiful fragrance...... I actually realized that I had missed it once I smelled it again. I love this and contrary to my original update, would certainly repurchase. :)

I'm wearing Amber Fever today. It's the first time this season. I smell fantastic. I have forgotten how good this smells. If you're looking for a BR540 dupe, keep on walking. This is not it. Amber Fever is prominently whisky, caramel, woody. These notes are not in BR. I don't get the BR540 comparisons. Amber Fever is it's own thing. It starts off with whiskey and caramel dominating with tonka and hazelnut in the background. It's very appealing. It's not a sugar-bomb. The caramel note they use is not overly sweet. The whiskey note is blended with the caramel in a way that creates an accord that is not overly boozy as if you have been drinking. But as the wearer you know it's there. The drydown is fantastic. Amber, musky, woody, with slight florals in the background. Whiskey and caramel are noticable through most of the lifespan and gradually moves into the background. You get more and more woody as it progresses. Amber is not the dominant accord at any point, despite the name. I would say that the opening is unisex, the drydown is unisex leaning masculine and the late drydown is leaning more masculine with the woody notes and oakmoss getting more prominent on my skin. Musk and amber keep it from getting too far into hairy-knuckles territory. It's unisex down the middle. It will smell more feminine on female skin and more masculine on male skin. Amber Fever is casually dressed and fun-times for me. It's too fun and flirty for a suit or the office. The longevity is very good. I get 9+ hours on my skin. Projection is above average. It leaves a very nice trail. It's great for hugs too. For me, this has a similar usage as PdM Pegasus. They smell nothing alike. I just wear them for the same types of occasions. This is a cool weather fragrance. Late-September to late-May (Great-Lakes region). It might work for summer nights too if you adjust your sprays. I luv it. I find it very comforting with the cool weather. It melds very well with the cool air. I can't stop sniffing myself.

Mancera Amber Fever's TLDR review is that it is the boozy more gourmand masculine version of Instant Crush. Instant Crush being Mancera's take on a Baccarat Rogue style fragrance. Mancera Amber Fever was my third Mancera. First came Cedrat Boise, their Aventus inspired fragrance and later the aforementioned Instant Crush. Amber Fever lives up to the hype I have for Mancera releases from the past two in my collection. Amber Fever is a caramel and hazelnut with whiskey take on Instant Crush. They took Instant Crush open and replaced it with the notes I spoke of. Amberwood was replaced with tonka in the open leaving rose and jasmin dominating the mid. The base is an amber musk replacing the vanilla in Crush. Amber Fever like Instant Crush will work great for fall/winter nights. It is a date and club scent. Performance and projection is good but I think the one thing Instant Crush has on Amber is that it can linger nearly 24 hours while Amber Fever doesn't. It is however sexy and masculine. Not that Instant Crush and Baccarat Rogue can't be, but this shines as that style fragrance. I think if you reign in the sprays, you may make it work for work settings, but know you may be told it is too much despite that. Amber Fever is a Baccarat Rogue fragrance that takes it and spins it into its own lane. This is what I love in derivative scents. It is easy to clone and copy a fragrance. Instant Crush does that more than most Mancera fragrances do. For this, Amber Fever is better than Instant Crush. I rated Instant Crush 8.1, this gets an 8.5 out of 10. I am not sure if Cedrat is better than this, but it close.

This is simply one of the best smelling gourmandish niche scents ive ever smelt. Listen this a more wearble version of instant crush. You can wear this in the heat vs instant crush really being harder to wear in heat. Everyone that has smelt this on me loves this scent and cant figure out what i am wearing. This is niche complexity with designer mass appeal. The combination of caramel and rum and then in the mid you get hit with florals, makes this a very complex fragrance. The base is musk and powdery. To me this is the perfect daily gourmand scent. It does lean a bit feminine but you should know that most unisex scents that lean feminine are the most well liked by the general population. Women love this on me, it doesn't get cloying no matter how much you spray which makes this a signature scent worthy. I go nose blind to this pretty fast so I cant speak on longevity. But on clothes this last for 2 - 3 days. As far as silage, youll leave about 4 feet of scent trail behind you. Imo this is a baby between Oud satin mood from MFK and Instant crush. Keep in mind I have the updated bottle with magnetic cap, equality fragrance on YouTube mentioned he has terrible performance with his but his was a screw on cap

HIPNOTIC!!! wow!! this perfume is one of the most beautiful, elegant, and just precious scents I have come across. The opening is like a glass of whiskey by the fire while marshmallows are being slowly roasted in it and you have a caramel candle lighted up to soothe the mood. is very strong yet so delicate, then you can pick up the hazelnut and sometimes the rose, what a lovely transition. I can see how someone can smell some "similarity" with BR540 because the amber note is paired with the white musk and has the same "frequency" as in the heart of BR540 once it dries down completely. but the dry down on this one is more delicate and romantic in my opinion, while in BR540 is more energic and sexy. I am ordering a full bottle right now because I fell in love THAT hard right away. Silage is marvelous as projection! got compliments at my house as soon as I sprayed on my wrist. You can blind buy this one easily and love it! specially if you are an amber lover, if you are still not sure because of the whiskey and hazelnut notes sample it and be prepared to be amazed, or at least be more than pleased with this fragrance. BRB I am going to buy this one ASAP! :)

I though nothing can beat my signature fragrance... But I think that place is shaken with this fragrance. I simply love it. By all the reviews it will says it's sweet, boozy, here there flowery, woody and all extremely well blended. Yes. It's all that and I wasn't expecting much. I expected sweet well blended perfume. And probably to some it will be just that but to me No. I have problem when there is tonka bean, oakmoss or musk. It usually hit my nose hard. Otherwise there was so much potential everything to go wrong or lean on more male side heavy sweet fragrance, but no. If I have to define it, that's not easy because it's really blended to perfection, as someone already said that. Like well aged whiskey is made it's like the caramel tonka flower juice is put in wooden barrels for aging. I think the whiskey note comes from that warm feel of it. But also flowers make it not so heavy, but easy to nose and addict in some way. About the longevity and silage. I can't smell it around me after few hours, but that don't bother me. When a man gives you compliment, that's says it all.

As it opens, the perfume evokes the light and airy sweetness of 540 but that doesn’t make this identical to it or even similar to Instant Crush (IC) You could say they’re from the same genre/family of perfumes. This takes a distinct turn with the emergence of a refined boozy, caramel-y floral scent along with a subtle hazelnut/nutty undertone. The hazelnut isn't as strong as in Choco Violet, and the rose is subtle, blended well with jasmine and violet- perfect for me since I'm not a fan of overpowering rose notes making this a safe blind buy but only if you are familiar with the Mancera DNA. Compared to their other offerings, its performance is somewhat lacking, but on its own merit, it lasts decently – around 6+ hours on skin with moderate projection and all day on clothes. While not their strongest scent, it's still a pleasant surprise and much better than IC imo, though I wish it matched its performance. Nonetheless, one of my top 3 from the house and it smells addictive the more you wear it.

The opening is very strong I get a lot of whiskey. Go easy on the trigger and don’t overspray the same area more than once. However! Holy mother of god! when this stuff settles dry down is when this gem starts to shine. If you like BR540 or that DNA then Mancera’s Amber Fever goes towards that direction of being airy and sweet but with it's own twist and take on things with the whiskey and the chestnut note. Which Mancera is closest to BR540? I say instant crush is the closest. Amber Fever smells great still. If you blind buy this you won’t be disappointed. However, you got to let this stuff settle on your skin to fully immerse the scent to its fullest potential. Blind buy worthy? 110% Masculine or feminine? All genders can pull this off Sillage: 9.5/10 (really shines in the cold evenings) Rating: 9.5/10 Compliment factor 9.5/10

I get about 2-4 hours of SOLID projection then it starts getting closer to the skin, 6 hours in and I get constant whiff while sitting at my desk typing and with good silage trail when moving about. Performance wise; I'm easily getting 10+ hours from this on skin and 15+ on clothes. Definitely a banger, but not as beastly as Instant Crush This fragrance is very delicious when you smell it in the air, the whiskey is prominent throughout the life of the fragrance but is balanced out nicely with the rose and caramel which makes unisex, (the whiskey gives it that masculine Character while the rose from the mid comes out in the opening and makes it feminine). I wish the hazelnut was more prominent. The amber only comes out in the late dry down, so it's not an Amber Forward scent despite the name, and I'm kinda glad for that.

Not a review, more of quick story : *ok short review : super delightful, persistent and sweet. booziness is there throughout the life of it* sprayed it 3 times around the neck area at ~ 2 P.M. , kept smelling it without even trying. come 10:30 P.M. I heavy-spray Spice Bomb Extreme (5 puffs) after a shower. went on a 3hour bike ride. came back home. showered. left for the gym at ~ 2:30 A.M. Guess which fragrance kept hitting me in the face during the workout ? Of course the Spi... nah just kidding. It was the F-ing Amber Fever. This bamboozled me so hard. As those 3 sprays were "borrowed", this really made me consider buying it for myself as well since it was a gift , and even consider Precious Oud instead. We'll see. Phenomenal scent & performance. More ambery than woody. Definitely unisex.

#621 in my "Tour de fragrance" Not much to say about this one. This is about halfway between Mancera Instant Crush and MFK's BR540 Extrait de Parfum. I have both. I probably like this better than Instant Crush, which has a bergamot note I find a bit irritating in the opening. I maybe like the bitter almond note of the BR540 Extrait better than the hazelnut here. But overall there isn't a enough of a difference between the three that you'd really expand your options by having them all on your shelf. But that hasn't stopped me yet, so I'm ordering a bottle of this. I think this is carpool, elevator and office safe, but more of a date night scent to me. I get tons of compliments on Instant Crush and BR540 Extrait and I would expect the same with this.

As an amber addict, this hits the spot amazingly. It is the perfect combination of the typical Mancera signiture rose DNA, with loads and loads of amber, as well as some gourmand notes in the opening. The gourmand notes become super strong and prominent after having macerated the bottle for almost year, where I can smell almost chocolate/ praline notes. The dry down is where this fragrance shines, where it becomes really ambery and musky, with slight hints of woodiness (hard to detect if you are not looking for it). For someone who is not used to unisex fragrances, Amber Fever can come across as a bit feminine leaning and a bit off putting for users who mainly lean masculine. Do not let this put you off, as it quickly leans unisex after 20 min.

Its like instant crush but more wearable and boozy, i love this whisky and carmel combination at the opening, first 30 minutes is just sweet boozy gourmand, it smells kinda like advocat, but thru out the wear it gets more ambery and rosey. And its still light enought for a dayly winter fregfence, amber in this one kinda reminds me of stronger with you amber, its sweet and realistic. Lasts quite long, 6-8 hours on skin and few days on cloathes, projection is way to loud for my liking so if i would get it i would layer with Fresh Brewed Coffee by library of fregrence just to air it out a lil. It might not be for everyone, this is very sweet fregrence. 8/10 Way too loud projection

This simultaneously smells modern from the sweet caramel and strawberry notes but old fashioned from an iris face powder note. A close sniff delivers ambroxan to your nostrils, but it’s not overpowering at arm’s length and seems to help to boost the strawberry note. I honestly don’t detect most of the notes it’s supposed to have (like, whiskey, hazelnut, rose, teakwood, and oakmoss) and instead catch notes that aren’t listed (like strawberry and iris). It smells extremely feminine to me, and there are similarities to BR540. However, it’s its own thing, straddling 2 different fragrance eras beautifully.

Yes I get that Sensual Instinct vibe and they smell most similar on opening, but diverge quickly as time passes. SI is slightly sweeter with the praline note and AF has an undertone of floral where SI has none of that. They both have the amber note but in AF, the amber comes off as more resinous. While SI doesn't list the whisky note, it's there but more prominent and longer lasting on AF. They both stand on their own but could be layered as well. If you're looking for resinous amber with a floral touch go with AF, but if you're looking for amber with a slightly gourmand leaning, then go with SI.

Yo get this very sweet cherrylike, caramel like wiskey, and a beatifull rose accord that it feels like heaven, truly an unslept fragrance. This is just too good, the only thing i struggle with is performance it sits a bit too close to my skyn... The wiskey accord is delicous and so is the rest of the fragrance, very smooth amber and vanilla gives a punch to the fragrance itself. def a fall winter fragrance, also wearable in the day in my opinion, it really riminds of a cocktail you would drink in a night out with friends. MARK: 9/10 it would have been a 10 with better projection.

I love this fragrance I apply 4-6 sprays and get compliments everytime To be honest I feel this is a more masculine scent It’s sweet but not Roja Sweetie Aoud sweet I don’t get much rose or violet I do get Amber and musk I thought it was Chestnuts Because I get a “Armani - Stronger with you “ Vibe I guess hazelnut is not far off Definitely not watered down BR540 Leave that up Arianna Grande - Cloud Everyone wear scents Different and to me this one is amazing Pretty shocked to see all the hate

I got a bottle of this fragrance for Christmas last year, and I liked it but I didn’t love it. So when the warm weather came I put it away till fall and when I came back to it today, I fell in love, and it might just be my favourite fragrance in my collection. It projects loud, lasts long, and smells delicious while remaining classy. I don’t find it leans masculine or feminine, I can pull it off but a woman could easily pull this off as well. 10/10 fragrance, would highly recommend!

More of a masculine take on the BR540 DNA. It’s got the masculine whiskey note which to my nose dominates the fragrance for most of the wearing. You get that sweet caramel and everything else but it’s more in the back ground as the whiskey note takes center stage. After it’s all said and done you end up with a less sweet more spicy woody BR540 vibe. Not very feminine to me anyway, at least I wouldn’t want my wife wearing this lol to each their own of course though.

I quite like Amber Fever. It’s a warm amber with sweetness from the accompanying notes to add depth. I don’t rlly smell the violet note. Before seeing it here, I already felt it had a very similar scent profile to Baccarat Rouge, the same warmth and depth; it’s less offensive/intense, making it a better option for everyday wear. I am so excited to wear this beauty and understand it more as it develops on my skin and clothes. I adore the magnetic caps also!! 😍

I get the BR540 comparisons but it’s definitely it’s own fragrance. To my nose it has a “cool” effect in a similar way to MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver or Terre D’Hermes Eau Givree, something about it feels chilly. So in the sense that BR540 is warm, this would be its cooler/smoother counterpart. I chose this over Instant Crush because it’s more unique but I’m waiting for my bottle to macerate to really decide how I feel about this

I absolutely love Amber Fever. This is a more subdued version of Instant Crush. The caramel, whiskey, hazelnut and the floral notes are blended to perfection. I love this from the initial spray to the dry down. It projects and it has longevity. This is unisex, but it does have that sweetness from the caramel and the nuttiness from that wonderful hazelnut. Mancera did that! This is beautiful done!

Gorgeous delicious fragrance. I love this. Caramel, amber accord and hazelnut predominates on my skin. Some cool tone florals come through in first 10 mins then dissipate. The scent trail from this is intoxicating: warm sweet, slightly spiced and slightly nutty. Perfect name. Great amber fragrance. To my nose it is more weighty/ thicker than BR540, more spicy and way more delicious.

I'm surprised people don't talk about this one. At first I wasn't sure if it liked it and this is now one of my main go-to fragerances. I never get compliments and my uncle and cousin instantly told me I smell good when I went in for a hug. Its pretty cool because I truly think this is a unisex scent and if I smelled this on anyone I would compliment them on the scent.

This is how I imagined BR540 would smell like. Hell, with all the fuss and hype that BR540 is receiving, it SHOULD smell like this! This is very smooth and sweet and fortunately it lacks the screechy medicinal component of BR540. Sadly, Amber fever leans a tad more masculine than feminine for my taste. But I imagine how it would smell on a man.. my oh my 😍🧲🔥

I like it a lot. It feels mature but not 'old' and a nice sweet amber fragrance. The whiskey and Carmel notes really jump out at me, so it gets cloying very fast. I love it but at the same time I really can't stand it. I think once I get through the sample, I'll be over it. It is very lovely just a bit headier than I like my stronger perfumes.

Love this one. Not as sweet as I thought it would be, and that's a good thing. Reminds me of Instant Crush but this is more masculine and doesn't project as much, which is why I prefer this one (IC is just too much for me, can't wear it). Overall, a nicely done "polite" gourmand.

those who say it smells like alcohol i really have nothing to comment on that. this is by far one of the best and safest Mancera which will always get compliments and last all day. but not as loud as instant crush. its a sweet candy boozy whiskey and tonka. LOVE IT 10/10

This is sweet but not overly sweet, on my skin the whiskey stays throughout the whole time but very subtle. The caramel is nice. I don’t feel it’s trying to be a dupe of anything. It’s really unique. It ́s elegant, I think it could be worn in any season.

My first impression when I blind-bought this one wasn't great, but now I love it so much and looking to buy a bigger bottle of it! It does give a similar scent to Mancera instant crush which I also really enjoy wearing. A very good unisex perfume.

Very fantastic fragrance. Boozy, sweet, ambery, musky!!! Absolutely unisex, leaning masculine! several people mention instant crush. So categorically not similarity... maybe to sweetness. Nothing more... by the way instant crush is more feminine.

Similar to Instant Crush just remove metalic note sweeter muskier unique scent my batch from 2023 and Mancera never disappoints with longevity and projection this stuff is strong 12hours plus amazing release my 19teen in collection of Mancera🔥

I can’t smell it. I don’t get any of the notes. I got my bottle from Bloomingdale’s so it’s authentic. I just get nothing . Oh I so wanted to love this one. I do like Mancera very much and I love everything amber. Sadly this is going back

I recently compared this side by side with Instant Crush, this one doesnt have that rubber smell, this one is warmer and amber whereas instant crush is spicier and citrusy (more masculine), I like amber fever more.

Boozy and Cozy! One of my favorites Mancera. It is not a beast and the projection isn't crazy but the scent is very unique and sensual. Perfectly unisex, leans a tiny bit masculine because of the whiskey opening.

I don't know why this smells like BR540 to you. To me, the scent is lovely and reminds me of a much gentler and airier La Vie Est Belle or La Nuit Trésor, which won't give you a headache or put off the breath.

Powdery, musky, light and fresh. Initial spray might not be much, but there's something about it, especially on the dry down when you come back to it.

I've had this for almost a year now. Did not initially like on first spray. After experiencing the dry down, this is now one of my signature scents.

Yeah could see some resemblance to br540, but this one is smother and not as spicy. Very nice though, a lovely masterfully blended scent

I actually think the sillage and longevity on this is better than instant crush. I also think i prefer the profile on this. 9/10

A very boozy whisky opening that leads to the Ethyl Maltol sweetness from Br540. Anyone who likes Br540 would dig this for sure!

Very similar to BR540. Unchanging scent Dna. You don’t smell unique, you smell like a candy shop.

Dior Ambre Nuit is a good amber, roses, and spices fragrance; Issey Miyake Noir Ambre is a great amber fragrance; Montale Blue Amber is a fantastic, strong projection, amber, vanilla, spicy, and floral fragrance; Prada L’Homme EDT is a soft, mildly sweet, floral powdery, violet, iris, and ambery fragrance; Prada L’Homme L’Eau Men EDT is a slightly sweet, very powdery, iris, and amber fragrance; Mancera Amber Fever Unisex EDP is a moderate projection, versatile, resinous amber, sweet caramel, boozy whiskey, powdery white musk, and woody fragrance. SUMMARY: A moderate projection, resinous amber, sweet caramel, boozy whiskey, powdery white musk, and woody fragrance with some floral accords. The fragrance feels boozy, casual, clean, comforting, delectable, delicate, dry, elegant, exotic, gourmand, intimate, inviting, light, mature, moderate-quality, modern, powdery musky, playful, resinous, refined, relaxing, sweet, unisex, versatile, woody, and pleasant.

This is my first wearing of one of Mancera’s newish late-2019 releases, Amber Fever, and it’s pretty good. Headily sweet, boozy, slightly nutty, and slightly creamy, it feels more of a sugar rush with boozy and resinous undertones than a full-on “amber” fever but it’s still fairly agreeable, as most of the sweet Mancera/Montale offerings tend to be, at least to fans (like me) of strong, sweet fragrances. I feel like I detect the sweet notes above all others: hazelnut, tonka, and caramel are all strong, after which there is some amber, whiskey, and florals. The florals and musk temper the sweetness and booziness somewhat, but Amber Fever, at least for me, proves to be a case where the name is a bit misleading. It’s more of a whiskey-and-nuts fragrance than it is an amber fragrance, at least on my skin. I wouldn’t say I’m completely neutral toward Amber Fever. I like it but know full well that there are better options within the same Mancera/Montale brand that are better. For example, Mancera Precious Oud achieved a whiskey rose/oud blend that was lovely, sweet, boozy, but still with the rose/oud. Amber Fever is almost like Precious Oud without the rose/oud. It’s sweet and boozy and somewhat resinous but is just a little less interesting than some of the more multifaceted creations from Mancera/Montale lines. Sometimes simplicity is nice, though, as in Montale Oud Dream, with its succinct note breakdown of rose, oud, and patchouli, which hit the spot quite well. Amber Fever’s performance is quite good, though, loud from the onset without much projection lost over the first few hours of wearing. Currently in the US, Krystal Fragrance is the only retail seller of Amber Fever, at the standard pricing of $180 for 120ml, but with time, I expect it’ll be available for less via the grey market, as seems to happen with all Mancera/Montale perfumes. Krystal all sells samples, too, for those interested in trying it out. I’m always happy to participate in splits myself and try out new Mancera/Montale releases, myself, since they’re reasonable priced and high-performing, but some stand out more positively than others. 6 out of 10

So, I'm not sure what I expected, or what prompted me to purchase Amber Fever. I'm seeking a vanilla-centric "with additional notes" gourmand that I can afford to liberally apply at bedtime, to help me sleep. Somehow, Amber Fever's notes spoke to me. And I own (and like) some Mancera Fragrances. Thought I'd give this one a try. I'm pleasantly surprised by the opening. Expecting a heavy and thick, nearly cloying nutty-boozy-whiskey crush, I'm taken by the lightness of the fragrance. The opening is an aldehydic, spritzy, airy, floral-berry-fruitiness (almost). Some people list "cherry" notes in the fragrance. Cherry I'm unsure about... This perfume goes right to sweet, floral notes on my skin. As the perfume develops, I definitely detect MUCH booziness, some rose, violets, white florals (jasmine). It's nice. Perhaps within 10 minutes, a faint caramel, or toffee fragrance is noticeable. And as the perfume develops, I'm DEFINITELY detecting violet, which is nice and not over-bearing. But not much else. Florals. As the perfume wears, I detect lots 'n lots of floral notes. The drydown is definitely amber-woody florals with some musk, definitely a bit vegetal with the oak moss. I do not detect much vanilla. Wish there were more vanilla, or caramel, or hazelnut notes. But I unfortunately do not detect much beyond florals, amber, woods and whiskey. I would think with all the listed notes, Amber Fever would be a heavy, thick and syrupy fragrance. But it is not. In many ways, the fragrance feels "forgettable" to me. There's nothing unusual, or outstanding about Amber Fever. To my nose, Amber Fever is definitely a safe, mass-appealing crowd pleaser. Not sure about this one. Not regretting my 120ml bottle purchase 'cause I got the perfume at a great price. I like Amber Fever. Just not sure it's quite the soothing, enveloping, comforting bedtime fragrance I'm seeking. A solid 7.5/10 fragrance.

It's taken me a little time to warm to this scent as it isn't typically what I'd purchase. It's nothing new or mind blowing but it does offer a comfortable, pleasant, lasting wear, and it's a little luxurious to boot. What it does, it does well! It's a fairly linear fragrance for me, but that's ok. When I have a tired mind and body, it's a soother! I don't want to have to think about another thing and this is a spray and forget experience in regards to scent evolution. It's a nice blend of amber, whiskey and caramel with a slight underpinning of floral and vanilla. Warm and golden, if you know what I mean! Just about unisex in my opinion. Nothing to dislike, rounded and easy to wear. In its defence it could be worn during all but the hottest season at pretty much any time with confidence. As previously mentioned, it is a great product for a lazy or recovery day. It wouldn't be out of place at an event or an evening out either, it's a pretty flexible product. Pretty good value when you consider the price, performance and the larger bottles offered by Mancera. Never overwhelms but although it fades a little over the first couple of hours it continues to offer a decent sillage and comforting personal experience for the best part of a day....easily more if you are just at home taking it easy!

My sample arrived today in the mail so I sprayed it the second I took it out of package! I expected a scent similar to Madonna’s Naked perfume but it is not like it at all. Opening has whiskey, caramel, buttered popcorn scent on my skin but that quickly changes to a linear whisky brown sugar scent that lasts about 3 hours in 83 degree heat. Projection was a skin scent from the start then fades rapidly. Most fragrances are absorbed and fade fast because I live in Arizona desert with high heat. It’s only March 6th so 83 degrees is cool but summers will be 110-129 degrees. I enjoy this perfume but wish it was stronger and lasted longer on my skin. I thought I would hate the whiskey note but surprisingly it is okay mixed with caramel. After 15 minutes I only smell those 2 notes not the others. I bought this because of the chestnuts note plus tonka & hazelnuts hoping for By The Fireplace perfume twist but it is nothing like my favorite scent. I may buy a full bottle to layer both perfumes for days I want a sweeter gourmand scent.

idk what's wrong with people's noses but clearly there is some wide spread nasal congestion or olfactory dissonance running rampant globally..right off the atomizer this smells similar to BR 540..sprayed in the air it also shares a similarity to BR 540..but oh when applied to skinnnn..no, no ITS STILL VERY MUCH LIKE BR 540..more whiskey..more woods..blah..blah..blah..not deliberate enough..detectable but more Tito Jackson instead of Michael..it does exude a effervescent pleasantness though..a confectionery sweet floral amalgamation im sure most women under 40 will gravitate to & im ok with that..yeh it's me baby, im the candyman..still craving a more dominant whiskey forward note so off to trying Kutay I go..
