Aoud Blue Notes

My first official Signature scent!! This juice is amazing..Truly personifies who I am..Powdery clean (ylang ylang violet), extreme depth (amber patchouli), with a mysterious edge (leather oud)!! I actually threw out some of my older lesser utilized fragrances after smelling this..I've decided I dont want anything in my arsenal that's not on this level..That's how amazing this stuff is..Performance is off the charts and although prior reviewers have stated sillage or projection is moderate I couldn't disagree more!! I was actually coming out of an elevator & walked to my car, about 10 minutes later a guy walks up to my window and motioned me to lower it,I was a bit startled because this is NYC at like 4:00 in the a.m..I responded a little aggressive because I didnt know his intentions and he said with no shame I just had to find out what the hell is the name of that fragrance you're wearing..lol I cracked up told him the full name as he input into his phone..I would say sillage is monstrous..Love this scent , it is my signature it's now my theme smell..10 out of 10 in all categories and best in cooler weather..Mancera is changing the game frag lovers get on board theres numerous offerings to choose from.

When I first smelled this, the word “BLUE” immediately popped into my head. Obviously, the fragrance has Blue in the name, which almost plants the idea in your mind right from the opening blast. It’s a bit like when someone says, “don’t think of a pink elephant” you can’t help but picture it. There’s definitely oud here, not natural oud, but a convincing synthetic that gets the job done. It’s paired with a sweet, almost bubble-gum vibe that likely comes from the fruity-floral notes in the composition. Performance and projection are moderate; it’s certainly not beast mode like its cousin Aoud Lemon Mint. Overall, this is a pleasant fragrance, provided you enjoy oud. If you’re already familiar with the Montale/Mancera oud DNA, you won’t find any surprises. My wife and daughter both gave it a thumbs-up, and my wife even mentioned a few times how much she liked it. I’d rate this 7/10. It’s blind-buy safe, but personally I’d go for Aoud Lemon Mint, which feels more unique and performs better.

Just received today. I find this really unique. It has a high concentration because my skin is glossy for 20 minutes after I spray it. It starts off with a beast mode projection blast of fruits and citrus along with ylang ylang. Sadly the fragrance dies down within an hour to a 3 inch projection. I bought this because I thought it would be strong and long lasting. I wanted to like it so much because the fragrance itself is amazing. This is the niche equivalent to dior sauvage, better blended, and somewhat generic with a twist of ylang uniqueness. I am just disappointed because I love the bottle and the fragrance, but it just doesn't last. If people don't smell me, then in my book I've wasted money. Great addition to your collection as liquid art though. If this lasted and projected like cedrat boise, then I would hype this to the max. 5 stars for uniqueness and overall scent 2 stars for projection 3 stars for longevity

Powdery and slightly fruity sweet and fresh, there's like almost a Dr.Pepper quality to this smell and I'm not sure where this is coming from. But very gentle and loving, one of the better ones so far from Mancera. I will compare it to its sibling Lemon Mint. Blue notes is decidedly sweeter, less creamy and more juicy for lack of a better term, there's definitely a similar quality to them but they are not redundant. I'm not getting a very distinct orris presence, not like a super powdery orris like in Givenchy Gentlemen, but it could be some of the powdery qualities I'm experiencing. Longevity is very good as usual with Mancera, lasted all through a gym session A+, projection is more muted compared to Lemon Mint. Fruity sweet and clean, all year round, leaning a bit more feminine than Lemon Mint but still unisex enough to wear it with confidence. It's the more mysterious cousin to Aoud Lemon Mint. A+

One of the major ways that perfume can be interpreted as art is the complexity of the feelings and images it can convey to you. Indeed, many perfumers are given a brief to follow when designing a perfume which usually involves creative visions or stories rather than a scientific breakdown of notes. I didn’t fully appreciate what it meant for a fragrance to be blue but this one has taught me well. It transports me onto a Mediterranean summer holiday. There’s a saltiness which represents the sea breeze and a fruitiness representing the bottomless fruit cocktails on tap. The powerful woody backbone is the wooden deck chair baking in the heat of the sun’s rays. The imagery I get with this is very vivid. There’s as real niche playfulness about this perfume, one of the best Mancera has to offer. I don’t hear much talk about this one, which makes it extremely underrated. 10/10

It’s crazy how we all experience fragrances differently. I saw alot of people say that this one is very close to Aoud Lemon Mint so I got a decant of it since I love Aoud Blue Notes. I’m not going to tell anyone what they did or did not experience but to me they aren’t even remotely similar. I must have smelled them side by side,off and on,for hours and I just couldn’t understand where people were coming from. If you look at the note breakdown as well they aren’t really similar at all. I did watch an influencer video where he made the comparison and I’m wondering if people are just parroting him. I see a lot of that in the fragrance community. Anyways, my point being, if you didn’t like Aoud Lemon Mint or you did don’t base your decision for trying Aoud Blue Notes on that one.I personally couldn’t stand Aoud Lemon Mint and Aoud Blue Notes is my second favorite Mancera.

I bought it today it is a summer fragrance to me, but what I say I love aquatic and sea notes, first of all don't caught by the name there is no oud note here at all. the opening is citrusy, fruity, fresh, and aquatic like a blast of sea breeze, but all that subsides down by the woddy notes, amber, leather, patchouli after a twenty minutes or less depends on the amount of sprays, the drydown is pleasing I smell woddy,sweety notes like vanilla and fruit, and a little bit citrusy. so since it is Mancera that we are talking about it is known for its beast mode longevity and sillage, but for this one the longevity is weak to moderate, also sillage is soft to moderate maybe because most of the notes originally are not heavy or long lasting notes especially the citrusy notes. scent: 8/10 longevity: 7/10 sillage: 6/10 overall: 8/10

I wasn't expecting much from this. Upon sampling, I immediately fell in love with this. At first it reminded me of a cool breeze and sweet water. The fruity notes are not cloying, but just enough to make it pleasantly inviting. Some citrus sits behind it all and a woody base drives the whole thing. There is a powdery note that comes in during the mid. All the notes balance perfectly. Extremely office safe and mass appealing. I've been layering this with Cool Water Intense and I love the combo. I'm making Blue Aoud note my signature scent as it can be worn daily, will not offend, and is unique among the fragrance world. No one you know will be wearing anything like this. Again, I fell in love with it upon first sample and bought a bottle then and there and I've been enjoying it all day.

To me, this smells like a niche interpretation of Paco Rabanne's signature "bubblegummy" goodness, with a bit of underlying clean laundry freshness. This stuff is just happiness. Pure "feel-good" type stuff, and I'm here for it. This is very similar to the sweet-floral base of Aoud Lemon Mint, but without the oud, lemon, or mint, if that makes any sense... 😅 More than anything though, this smells like the long discontinued 1 Million "Intense" flanker, but without the cinnamon and with less overpowering rose. I've been wearing this for the last 3 days straight to come to that conclusion. They probably don't smell as similar side-by-side, but they do share most of the same notes! Moderate projection, but GREAT longevity. This one gets a HUGE thumbs up from me!

I got this in TESTER bottle with magnetic cap for cheap. At first, I blind buy this bc the bottle have nice color. But after smelling it, its really caught my attention. Its opening is sweet heavy floral. After 30sec, I can smell the powdery notes emerge, and it reminds me like an expensive baby powder. It really have a relaxing and soothing feeling. Bear in mind this lean more towards feminine side but Im a man and still rocking this with tons of compliment. If you like powdery fragrance, this is worth blind buy. *Edit: I casually layered this with SF Uomo Signature and it blows my mind. It compliment each other very well. It became powdery, slightly floral and dark leathery fragrance with super projection and longevity in cool weather. Beautiful mix.

I didn't like it the first time is smelled it. But few days later I spray it on my skin and I fell in love with it. The opening is very strong fruit notes and I know its the aoud that making it stronger. And it takes a while to settle down. Projection is very strong to my nose. one spray can fill the whole room . So I recommend not to overspray in one section. Two spray will last about 12 hours on my skin. Awesome performance. I really like the dry down which becomes less potent but still projecting. Its also a bit feminine to me I can detect slight of the leather but not strong. Another great fragrance by mancera. I think this can be an all season fragrance. Its strong and potent.

Though I like this fragrance and I agree with what has already been said concerning it becoming a "skin scent" after a couple of hours this fragrance is the younger, baby, brother to "Oudmazing" by Montale which has the longevity and sillage of LIFE!!! That being said there's no reason for me to purchase this because of the 2 bottles of Oudmazing I have. Fast forward... since I first posted this I have changed my mind after purchasing this and wearing it for a couple of months. It is very different than Oudmazing (though scent-wise they are in the same family) and the longevity and projection is about the same as Oudmazing and I love this frag more and more with each wearing.

If you're looking for a blue fragrance, look elsewhere. If you're looking for another beast-mode fragrance similar to Aoud Lemon Mint, again, look elsewhere; Aoud Blue is a subtler EDP that goes in a different, fruitier and floral direction. It's very pleasant, leans masculine, with moderate projection, but like a good Mancera it lasts the whole day, and it's well suited for use at the office, and in warmer weather. Edit: I recently wore it again for the first time in months. Very tenacious on clothes, very synthetic, very sweet, and not precisely in a good way. EDIT 2: For best results, spray moderately. This fragrance will become cloying when oversprayed.

Its similar to Aoud lemon mint which I own, but less creamy and no almond. Again there's some similarities, but they are not siblings more like 1st cousins. As far as scent profile goes, I prefer blue notes. The reason I got Aoud Lemon mint is because although I like blue notes slightly better, lemon mint performs better. It projects more, and it has better longevity. Don't get me wrong, blue notes isn't lackluster overall in performance but is compared to ALM. I would definitely be up for picking it up if I get a discount or deal even though I own ALM because they aren't clones, and I do like what blue notes brings.

How smooth and wonderful is this Frag! whew , what a great one. Very deep very smooth a touch a blue. Still one of my favorite scents out of my collection. Unique , doesn't get annoying, great lasting. This is one of those frags for me that takes me to another place in my mind. Actually mellows me out. Ive realized that I do not like Oud frags , they give me a headache. Not with this though, its done so tasteful and smooth plus subtle. Slight leather, citrus / orange with patchouli smells designer for sure and like the inside of a very classy department store next to the Italian dress shoes section.

this is very unique. on my skin the oud dominates and yet it is still fresh. this is truly a warm weather oud scent. its bright yet dark. this is awesome for the summer heat. projection and longevity are good. for about 2 hours it projects like a beast but after that it slowly dies to a skin scent. around the 7 hour mark its pretty much gone. this is one i'll keep in my collection. its masculine to my nose and very well done. slightly powdery, slightly fruity, but the oud is the star! i just wish it had the performance i get with oud lemon mint which seems to never to away. all in all i'd say 9/10

Aoud Blue Notes smells blue! It’s fruity and fun! It smells like a blue alien planet to me! It’s a little powdery and ambery but it’s mostly fruity and oudy with some patchouli and vanilla. It’s quite complex yet blended really well. It’s a fun casual day-time fragrance where you can wear it to daytime events or just casually. I love it! I really should wear it more. I really get in a mood to wear it! And I think it can definitely be worn all year round too! Performance is great with strong sillage and it lasts for hours on my (usually) fragrance eating skin! ✨✨✨

Underrated. Every time I spray this it puts a smile on my face. If you have tried aoud lemon mint, or xerjoff's comandante, this is in the same realm. I own those other fragrances which is the only reason I haven't picked up Aoud blue notes but if I am going to be honest I prefer this to Aoud Lemon mint but not looking to pay another 80-100 bucks. That being said, I think this fragrance is fantastic, my only criticism is that the longevity could be better, it projects for the first hour and goes into skin scent for the next 5-6 hours or so.

For any oud lover, this is the answer to wearing Oud in the heat. Yes, you certainly can spray on oud during the summer, but does it go well...let's be real. I once spritz for a test of Vince Camuto Smoked Oud, and my arm smelled Biblical for the next 5 hours. This is cool, and eliminates the oud in heat concern. I don't get the candy vibe others mentioned. The bright citrus, and lake water scents hit first, while the oud sits in the background calmly. This is worth a test, and one to consider buying.

If someone wants to buy this but doesn’t know what it smells like let me describe for you .. first this is my favorite mancera fragrance and in my top 5 fragrances ever !! Imagine le beau le parfum if it was a niche fragrance with more depth .. definitely reminds of that one same guaiac wood note and iris .. but this one has leather and mandarin plus violet .. you can smell all the notes at once .. if you like le beau le parfum smell you will enjoy this one but definitely still not a safe blind buy

To me, it is a unique fragrance and I love it. Smells a bit blue/green, slightly marzipan like smell with a bit of mentholic feeling. I know it is weird to say, but somehow it reminds me of a more fruity and wearable Aura by mugler (They dont smell the same, just the green unique vibe). I think it is very good for spring and summer. It is not a freshie but not dark at all. Layer this with Escentric Molecule Escentric 04 (EDT), smells like summer heaven. Performance is great and projects well.

I really like this one. Woody, powdery, creamy sweet, and a little leathery. I usually not very fond of leather, but if I can pull it off, I will definitely love it. With this one, I can pull it off on many ocassion without fear of offending anyone. Has similar vibes with Aoud Lemon Mint but with less projection and a bit darker. Still both are very versatile frags. It's not blind buy safe I must say. This is definitely one of the best scent I've smelled so far from this house.

I blind bought this bc the bottle colour looks pretty. One thing I can describe or imagine, this smells like luxury floral baby powder. The opening has sweet fruit candy with lil citrus and after 5min, it turns to floral powdery smell with some sweet, soft and non animalic leather accords on the drydown. This is a spring, summer night and fall fragrance. Very soft floral powdery and non aggressive smell. 4 sprays and it can project strongly for 2 hours.

I enjoy the house of Mancera, I have quite a few in my collection. This is one of my favorites. It is definitely unisex and great for summer. Gives me aquatic powdery vibes which is perfect for summer, there are some fruit notes which do appear more in dry down on my skin. I know a lot of people find Mancera and Montale to be polarizing but I do think there are some great finds within the house. Fragrance is a personal thing we all know that!

Wow this smells amazing! This is my first Mancera and I really love it! For me, it smells like standing in the hot calm beach. The opening was a harsh citruses, but the dry down its so good! The combination of powdery + fresh citruses + some woody notes make it semi masculine unisex frags for me. The longevity is very good, maybe 8-10+ hours. Sillage is very good too, I think 2-3 sprays is enough to fill the whole room. I really recommend it!

Good fragrance, my second Mancera in my collection, it's an interesting composition for hot weather , not too popular to smell it everywhere like Cedrat Boise but it's nice, I would like a little bit better longevity and sillage, but probably the problem is my skin, because it's difficult for me to find a fragrance that last longer than 6 hours. This one on my skin lasts around 4,5 hours with moderate sillage. 8,5/10

The blue factor of this juice is very potent. Forget about the woody notes, the fruity notes, etc.. It's not the point. If you wanna live in a blue world, this fragrance could be a way. For "blue world" I don't mean something aquatic or stuff like that, but a metaphysical world where the blue is the only color, and the only thing you can breath. Note: I don't see any similarities to Remarkable People. 8.5/10

this certainly has a strong resemblance to Aoud Lemon Mint in the opening, albeit more fruitier and sweeter and not as loud/beastly as aoud lemon mint. It’s certainly more mass appealing and will likely get you compliments, it’s less unique than ALM, but still worth having if you can find it on a deal. I have both -!: will certainly be reaching for them both interchangeably. One love 🇯🇲

One of the best summer scents from house and tnx god without citruses. I got Aoud Lemon Mint too and they are not even simillar. He ia closer to Gold Prestigium (got either) but more fresh. Performances r standard for Manceras 2-3 hours with great projection than going down to close to skin for next few hours. Compliment geather 1/1. Must have if u ask me...

It's hard to pull off leather on a hot summer day, but this fragrance is so fruity that it does it effortlessly. Very fruity and woody. A great starter fragrance if you are looking to get into niche. To my nose this is a fruity, powdery, floral with a hint of wood. I will put a 9/10 to this fragance if only last longer and project for more time Anyway a really good kind of middle east fragance for the rose that is on the smell Good for a dinner, going to a bar for beer or a romantic dinner or date 👌🏼 8.5/10 for me

As a young guy myself, I absolutely love this fragrance. That mix of powder and iris really blends in with the wood and leather. I got it for a great price off of aura fragrance and it has not disappointed since. The atomizer is always great from mancera and the longevity is great for the price.

So damn good. Fruity, fresh oud (the oud here is quite medicinal), then powdery , typical "hot weather" drydown. The opening is a bit masculine, but it quickly turns unisex. I'm a woman (a VERY girly one) and I can easily pull this off. Can't wait to wear this during the summer.

This is actually quite nice! One of my favorite Manceras that I have tried. This one is not as nuclear as the others, but 1-2 extra sprays and you're good. Extremely fruity ever so slightly fresh in my opinion with a subtle oud. Projection 7/10 Scent 9.5/10 Longevity 8/10

If Wrigley's Juicy Fruit chewing gum got turned into a wearable perfume. Not that similar to Aoud Lemon Mint (I love both!). This is for those who wanna smell sweet without being juvenile (doesn't project strongly). Good balanced versatile scent overall.

Mix versace dylan blue with D&g the one edt and add some aoud and you will get this masterpiece . Color blue if it was a smell lol . I love it it fills a room easily many compliments with this beast

Love this scent, much better on skin than paper, imediately ordered full bottle after first wear from sample. Wife loves it as well! This and Aoud Lemon Mint will be getting lots of use this summer.

Mancera is weird when they put aoud in the name but there's no oud in it. Great freshie fragrance though. Sillage is a tick better than moderate and above average longevity. 9/10.

Luxurious shower gel with a powdery vibe. Elegant yet playful. Best worn in summer evenings in climate controlled environment. One of the best smelling Manceras.

This is one of the most amazing Manceras you can get. Blended perfectly and very versatile.

#488 in my "Tour de Fragrance" So many scents claim to have "fruity notes" but not so much. They aren't kidding here. The fruitiness is really noticeable without being very sweet. The florals are uplifting and bright and definitely make this a unisex fragrance, but the woods are masculine enough that this isn't a girly scent. All in all it's a likeable, kinda pedestrian fragrance that checks all the boxes of modern scent-making. A younger woman could wear this to the office and get compliments. At first I was sure I would not use this in a business setting, but in the course of a half hour it becomes more woody and slightly masculine leaning, so by the end of the office commute it works. But definitely a good scent for casual use, day or night. It certainly isn't going to offend anyone. It lasts past lunch and projects moderately, and this is the sort scent the women in my life go for. At this point I can fairly state that after a while Mancera scents do kind of all run together and get boring. If you have Mancera "Lemon Mint" (which has no mint that I can detect) or Mancera "Gold Prestigium," this would be a completely redundant purchase. All are likeable scents. I prefer this one for the fruitier opening, but in the dry down there isn't enough of a distinction between the three to bother having more than one of them. If you like nuts and pepper more than fruit, go Lemon Mint. If you like musk and more oudniess, go Prestigium. For me, after trialing 21 Manceras with 5 more on hand to try, it's sort of To-may-to, To-mah-to. Same with Montale. Second verse is always same as the first. The differences scent-to-scent are mostly niggling with no affect on wearability ,suitability, longevity. I haven't run into any that are outright unwearable and intolerable, and only one, Mancera Sicily, that I gave away, as like all of the ADP Mediterraneo line, Sicily just dissipates too quickly. I think this is a safe blind buy at the discounter pricing, but decants are widely available for your own testing.

Opening smells fruity and almost ozonic to me. There is no distinct notes I can pinpoint on the opening, just a musky fruit ozone accord. As it dries, it takes on the scent profile of a traditonal fresh and cool middle eastern fragrance, similar in the vein of Al Rehab's famous Bakhoor. As it dries down it smells similar to the white musk oudy base of Aoud Lemon Mint, though the marzapan-lemon is switched to a general fruit note that leans synthetic. The sillage is good and has great longevity. Leans masculine. Its a nice fragrance but most of the notes listed do not stick out on their own. Its such a mix that I dont distinctly smell anything, its a musky potpourri for men. Its office friendly and a nice evening wear as well. While many voted this as a summer fragrance, i feel the guaiac and leather is too strong for a warm weather wear. Id safely place this as a cool spring and fall fragrance where the air is crisp but noting overly cold and biting. Its a nice one but not overly unique. Aoud Lemon Mint is fairly similar and much more diverse. The leathery oud accord in ALM is toned down a notch compared to Aoud Blue Notes.

Aoud Blue Notes is an exotic tropical island set piece, straight out of an early Star Trek episode, with prop trees, prop fruits, and prop flowers, all dyed shades of cyan and cerulean for this episode, for that specific planet with blue humanoids and scantily-clad blue women. But as spectators, all we care about is that our disbelief is suspended, that we are transported to that blue world and enjoy it there. I, for one, really enjoy this episode with the blue island. It's one of my favorites, and I could watch it over and over. I wish I could properly describe what this smells like, but nothing in the bottle seems to actually exist in nature. I certainly wouldn't expect to smell any oud in this. It's a perfume by and for an android in an AI paradise. Powerful performance, a la Mancera. The synthetic, exotic sweetness works in any season, and has a distinct and mysterious masculine angle to it. I'm shocked this hasn't become mainstream.

For me this fragrance Is a hit and a miss. It's fruity, cooling, and quite full, which I believe is the amber and leather (although more of a suede). I wouldn't say it's my favorite but I'm definitely intrigued by it. this is a unisex fragrance, and due to the slight heaviness more nighttime. It smells like a slurpee, or sangria - something fruity with a little edge to it. I can't exactly put my finger on it. It's almost like the perfect scent if you were out in the middle of a secluded area stargazing with that special someone. It's warming, yet cool. Expansive, yet simple. Dreamy, yet still grounded. For a Mancera, it's projection is quite low at about 2 hours then quickly turns to a skin scent. The skin scent longevity is About 8-10 hours. I could see this being a compliment getter from women. Overall I'd give it 7.5/10; although I could see it scoring higher once spring and summer roll around and I get to put it to the tests of life!

First spray and I said WOW — this is good! Bright, floral, fruity — it hits with a bold violet-rose combo that feels luxurious and unexpected. For a moment, I worried it might lean too powdery or “laundry softener,” but that phase is short-lived. What follows is a smooth masculine floral heart wrapped in creamy leather and soft woods. Then comes the drydown — and my gosh, it’s the Supra Sumo of coziness. Amber, musk, and vanilla melt into a warm, leathery sweetness that feels niche-level in both texture and emotional depth. It’s not loud or synthetic. It evolves — gracefully, confidently, and with zero designer clones in sight. If you were afraid it might be generic or have that harsh synthetic oud edge — just give it a chance and try it. I own several bottles from Mancera, and this one (along with Cosmic Pepper) was an easy blind buy that absolutely paid off.

This is a hard fragrance for me to describe, the first 20-30 minutes are leathery and medicinal, spicy and weird....but it gets SO much better. The leather calms down and becomes lighter and fresher, the citrus fruits make their appearance and blend well with the *very* soft florals, the base notes are not overpowering. I am happy I got this, but do note it is not a traditional "blue" fragrance... Lasts around 4-5 hours for me, and it's an enjoyable dry down. Not a powerhouse, its subtle, clean and uplifting to me. Very masculine leaning however, try before you buy. Office safe, great for an afternoon outing. Purchased from: Ebay

Tried this one out recently. I think it smells good. I dont have anything to deep to say about this one really. It definitely has some of that mancera fruityness+wood combo that they do in some of their fragrances that I smelled. And its pretty enjoyable. I dont feel compelled to by it, buts its a nice enough smell that I wouldnt complain if someone gave it to me. Hard to justify for the higher price of course, but its not a bad smell by any means.

Has no one else gotten a Burberry Touch vibe from this? The powdery violets, hidden under a layer of soft freshness? Just me then? I like this and while ,I have to wear my sample more to see if,I'm ready to commit to a full bottle,this is definitely on my list to go ,for late Spring along with Hindu Kush, ,I'm still trying to figure out between Sicily and Soleil de Italie as to my next citrus forward scent from the house of Mancera.
