Cherry Cherry

I blind bought this one as the price was great and the reviews here made me think this was something I would enjoy. Many of the descriptions here match my own experience. Just after spraying I got a definite cherry cough syrup scent but as soon as it dried down it went through several phases: a slightly spicy black cherry with almond/tonka base, a powdery anise with dark cherry notes (think chocolate covered cherries or cherry liquor) and as its settled the heliotrope comes forward and envelopes the dark cherry and there is a very nice base of patchouli and clean musk--the reviewer who mentioned Lolita Lempicka definitely nailed it. It's not the same but a very close cousin with the anise/spice notes. Its a really nice fragrance and definitely has silage. I would wear this everyday to the office (hey thats me--I don't care to blend in) and for nights out. Its not so heavy you couldn't wear it in warm weather but having so many lovely summer fragrances I probably would save it for only cool summer nights out when some warmth and spice are on order.

Other people say this is synthetic smelling or too feminine, I think it's perfectly unisex, on skin it smells like a not too dark, floral and slightly smoky Cherry scent, Black cherry and realistic incense are the two things I smell during the dry down perfect for fall and spring but it Is possible to wear this in winter or summer. As of right now this is my favorite Cherry smell

This reminds me of the moody chick at that party last week sitting all by herself, not talking to anybody...a compact mirror in one hand and a tube of lipstick in the other...I love it. This is heliotrope/orris/patchouli-heavy with a huge dose of juicy cherry. At times, it reminds me of cough syrup, other times cosmetics. Either way, I love smelling it.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Dark, boozy, and leathery, with cherry undertones. My skin does not react well to jasmine, but here the jasmine note is barely noticeable. The hypnotic orris comes through prominently until the dry down. One of the sexiest fragrances from this house.

As an incorrigible cherry lover, I believe I will love this perfume without even trying it yet. my love for iris is head to head with cherry. i only have concerns about blind buying, so I hope I can be patient until it is displayed in stores in the country where I live.

Tried this when i was in Paris. The opening is a little bit harsh and attacking like most Manceras but the dry down is incredible. Attacking black cherry at the top with a smooth but punching vanilla and patchouli with hints of lemon. Nice fragrance

Creamy Sour Cherry fragrance, heavy on Patchouli. Great spring fragrance, it is fresh, fruity but earthy dark in background. So well blended, Projects so hard like most of Manceras. Good Club fragrance in my opinion, so unique and loud. 10/10

Wearing it today...8 sprays Projection, ON POINT! Sillage, LOVELY! Longevity, 5hrs so far and still going strong! All in all...a candied cherry-vanilla, slightly powdery floral. BEAUTIFUL! Major play this summer. 8.5/10

Had a sample of this come through with a recent Mancera purchase, beautiful powdery almost photorealistic cherry in the opening, good sillage with beast mode performance! Definitely grabbing a full bottle.

I'm really enjoying this. It reminds me both of La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto and Cherry Ink (not identical to those, but in the same family). Longevity and sillage are both pretty good.

Sampling Mancera – Cherry Cherry, a 2024 release that blends a boozy, tart, sweet black cherry with sharp florals of orris, heliotrope, and jasmine, initially a bit biting, but also almost candied, drying down to be a bit more muted and of the ilk of most cherry scents in recent years, relatively easy to wear after the initial pungency. I find the opening a little challenging but after that, the fragrance does not stand out very much to me. I imagine some might like it a lot, as it doesn’t feel unlikable in most respects, but I do not find it especially great, just reasonably good, but definitely above average in the Mancera/Montale catalogue, so a solid score from me even if it doesn’t make a big impression, and it performs well. As with the rest of the line, this is EDP concentration with retail pricing of $190/125 for 120/60ml, sold in the US via the house website as well as great boutiques like Olfactif and Ministry of Scent, among others, and some department stores. 7 out of 10

What’s intriguing here is how the cherry unfolds—slowly, allowing it to settle without taking over, which is a refreshing twist compared to many cherry-forward fragrances. As it moves into the heart, delicate florals take the spotlight, with jasmine and heliotrope lending a clean, almost white floral quality. The fragrance continues to evolve, and as the initial citrus fades, it transitions into a fresh, airy profile. Aldehydes and musk bring a lightness to the scent, while a touch of vanilla rounds everything out, adding a smooth finish. True to Mancera’s signature, Cherry Cherry offers excellent value and craftsmanship—a silky-smooth, well-balanced take on cherry that’s both unique and memorable.

I tested this alongside a few other cherry fragrances, and this one stood out with its smooth powdery touch and sweet cherry note. It leans more toward a fall or colder weather scent in my opinion. As a man, I personally find it a bit too feminine to wear on its own, though I could see it working if layered with something more woodsy. That said, I really enjoy the fragrance overall especially when compared to others like Tom Ford's Lost Cherry. I personally think that Cherry Cherry by Mancera is better even without price in question. While some might find it a bit cloying due to its synthetic quality, I actually think it resembles a nice cherry candy in a pleasant way. Solid fragrance. I'd consider buying it, but only for layering or possibly gifting.

This has an addictive quality to it. The opening is hard cherry candies and it dries down sweet and powdery. The patchouli is noticeable and gives this some backbone. It is reminiscent of the La Petite Robe Noire line but I enjoy this more as it feels less heavy and syrupy than those. I plan to wear the heck out of Cherry Cherry in current Autumn season here.

This perfume is also labeled unisex, but it has a more feminine side. The fragrance features powdery cherry lemon from the Orris root, a blend of bergamot in the background, and a light almond finish from the valerian. I also detect a slight lipstick vibe, which makes it more feminine. I don't think the longevity is very good.

I'll be honest at first, I wasn't crazy about Cherry Cherry. But after letting it sit for a bit, it's developed into something so yummy. That powdery dark cherry vibe is there, but now it feels more playful and totally perfect for the summer heat. Fun, flirty, and growing on me more every day.

I definitely get medicinal cherry at the start, but I like it more as it dries. I just wish the citrus was just a bit more noticeable for me.

It would be a wonderful scent if it weren't for the patchouli and iris...

cherry opening, than dark sakuras

Today I'm going back to the familiar house of Mancera to check out one of their newer releases, Cherry Cherry. Now I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a fan of cherry notes. I know that they're featured mostly in feminine fragrances, but I just love cherry notes, and I know they can be used to great effect in masculine fragrances as well. I'm not sure what to expect, whether it'll smell like Tom Ford's Lost Cherry or something entirely different. My only wish is that it's not too syrupy sweet or feminine-leaning. Let's get into it and find out what we have here; Scent: The opening is sweet, fruity, and floral. The primary notes I get are black cherry, bergamot, lemon, and heliotrope. The strongest of the notes are the black cherry and heliotrope. True to the name of the fragrance, the black cherry takes the lead in the opening. It's dark, sweet, and has an almost boozy aroma, reminiscent of cherry wine or cherry liqueur. The heliotrope comes in behind the black cherry with a floral and powdery accord. It doesn't have much of the almond or vanilla tones that heliotrope often has. Up next is the bergamot and lemon. Both notes are citrus notes and give the opening a citrusy kick on the back end, but the bergamot lends its characteristic spicy and aromatic tinge while the lemon confers a tart and rindy nuance. There's also a distinct licorice-y accord in the opening that I'm guessing is coming from the blending of the heliotrope and black cherry. The dry down is sweet, powdery, and fruity. The primary notes I get are black cherry, vanilla pod, orris root, and heliotrope. The strongest of the notes are the vanilla pod and black cherry. The black cherry has retained its dark and sweet fruit accord, but doesn't have much of the boozy facet from the opening. Meanwhile, the vanilla pod has emerged in the dry down to provide a creamy type of sweetness, differentiated from regular vanilla by its dark earthiness and complexity. This is followed by the orris root and heliotrope. Both notes are focused on powdery accords, but the heliotrope retains the floral aspects while the orris root leans more into the dry, rooty, earthy realm. Performance: Initial projection within the first hour is strong at around 6 feet. Sillage is very strong and leaves a heavy scent trail. After a few hours the performance was pretty much the same. At the 7-8 hour mark the projection was about 3-4 feet and the scent trail was still easily noticeable. The fragrance lasted about 11-12 hours before becoming a skin scent. When to wear: Cherry Cherry is a fall/winter fragrance that can be worn during the day or evening. It is a fairly versatile fragrance that can be worn casually or formally. Special occasions like date nights or anniversaries would be a great choice. I wouldn't wear it to the office, though. Blind buy: If you like cherry fragrances, but prefer them with more subtle and nuanced cherry notes rather than just loud cherry all the way through, Cherry Cherry might be a good blind buy for you. Don't go into it thinking it's a cherry bomb, because it's not. Final verdict: After wearing Cherry Cherry for a day, I can safely say that this is nowhere close to being Lost Cherry. It is absolutely it's own fragrance and owns that completely. The black cherry note is very pleasant in a gourmand way, especially in the opening. However, the amalgamation of the different notes makes the scent profile lean much more feminine than I am comfortable wearing. On the topic of performance, Cherry Cherry is very typical of Mancera in that it doesn't disappoint. Strong projection and sillage for at least the first few hours, and lasting at least 11-12 before fading away into a skin scent. When it comes to versatility, although it is definitely a fall/winter fragrance, it's suitable for both daytime and evening wear, as well as both formal and informal situations, making the versatility overall above average. In terms of mass appeal, I think Cherry Cherry is above average as well. There's plenty of mass-appealing vanilla to go along with the black cherry, making it a fragrance that will easily get compliments. In conclusion, I think Cherry Cherry is an interesting twist on cherry-forward fragrances, but as I stated, it is much too feminine for me to wear. If I had blind bought a full bottle, I would be giving it to my wife, as she absolutely loved it. I can appreciate it for what it is, but it's not something I'll be adding to my collection. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 8/10 Sillage: 9/10

Despite the juicy cherry-colored bottle and the double cherry in the name, you're unlikely to smell cherry in this fragrance. It's quite a retro scent, with a dominant iris-powdery accord, surrounded by vanilla, earthy and spicy notes. The scent sounds quite interesting, but this interest is akin to the intriguing acquaintance with a vintage perfume, about a hundred years old. I find it hard to imagine it on a young woman or man, perhaps with age and experience it will feel more appropriate.

Cherry and orris with a hint of heliotrope, all well-balanced and blended. Smooth, powdery, slightly synthetic, sweet, lightweight gourmand, simple, and unique. Very good sillage and longevity. A slightly mature-feminine bottle. The orris and cherry combo comes off as a lipstick/makeup-like synthetic smell with a hint of medicinal/cough syrup facets, in a good way. That being said, it is not a usual cherry scent composition you notice in many cherry fragrances, so I'll give it that.

Now there's not just cherry for women, but for men too. A slightly tangy, boozy cherry sits atop an unremarkable masculine base. The promised powderiness is absent. It’s a unisex scent leaning towards the masculine side. Honestly, these flirty attempts by Mancera to create unisex vibes in their recent releases like Fig Me Up and Cherry Cherry have resulted in something "neither fish nor fowl," so to speak.

This should be called Cherry Ghost. It opens up with a beautiful feminine candied cherry type scent and immediately disappears once it dries down. There is nothing except for a vague essential oil type scent. Very strange. I have never experienced that with a perfume before. I even resprayed it with the same result about 10 minutes after; strange.

Has a beautiful cherry opening, then completely disappears after 5 minutes. There is barely any scent left except for maybe a vague cherry like essential oil type scent if you sniff close to your skin where you sprayed it. Hello? Where did you go?!

VERY similar to Guerlain Black Perfecto, but to my nose more sour.

They need to stop playing with us. Cherry where? Siiiiike Cherry? Wannabe Cherry? This isn't a gourmand cherry. This is blah unripe gmo cherry. Stop playing in our faces! Even if this fragrance had a different name, it still would be disappointing. This sits close to the skin and feels like yet ANOTHER lazy perfumery easy money grab. This ain't it yo! The dry down smells like generic $2 soap in a hole in a wall restaurant or gas station.

slumbergr , In my experience, this one is not similar to TF at all. I personally don’t get much cherry, it comes across very strong and quite spicy, with the spices being the most dominant part. It actually reminds me a lot of Tonka Cola by Mancera in terms of that bold, spicy profile. I bought it as a blind buy expecting a fruity cherry scent and it just wasn’t what I had in mind, so unfortunately it was a miss for me.

I tried this in the store but the spices reminded me of Chinese food probably anis mix with cinnamon, it was a not for me.

All I could smell is jasmine. No detectable cherry.

I can't smell any cherry in this, except a rotten cherry that you've left behind under the kitchen cabinet, dipped into a nauseating mixture of patchouli and an excessively powdery iris. Very mature scent, smells vintage but in a bad way, a fragrance that a grandma would wear. Sillage and longevity are great though.

What a horrible, old lady, cleaning product type of smell us this? No cherry at all

Sour Cherry note, Powdery, Sweet, and white floral. • Cherry Cherry starts with a strong Cherry scent, with a powdery aromatic sweetness aroma that dominates the air around you for the first 10 minutes. After about 30 minutes it turns to a white-floral sweet combination with the Cherry note. • I sprayed a total of 5 times. Twice behind each ear, twice on the front of neck, and once in front of my chest. The longevity is extremely good, it lasts approximately 9+hours on my skin, and a few day on my clothes. This fragrance projects great too. (Depends on skin types) Overall Rating (8,5/10) If you like Cherry note, this would be the most gentle, aromatic and floral cherry fragrance. Mainly a feminine fragrance, it is still a fantastic release.

Let this sit in a dark cool cabinet awhile after shipping & retry,I disliked this when I first tried it,I received a FB for my birthday & did alot of researching videos& reviews,so I was extremely disappointed at first,until 2 full month's later, tried again I think I was expecting a sweet cherry& it's not that,however unexpected twist,ended up liking,it smells like a dark fizzy cherry-dr pepper soda,little xmas spice,little sweet,im definitely wearing this in colder weather,strange because I hate the smell of soda,yet I like this,gothic vibes I get, is probably why I like it, for sure liking it now. ALWAYS let your fragrance sit AWHILE after shipping in the mail,before you decide,so I'm learning,even with samples...definitely FB• This scent also has a dark cinnamon vibe if that makes any sense. 《STAY WEIRD 》

This reminds me of the original Lolita Lempicka from when it was first released. I smell licorice even though it's not listed . This is haunting and beautiful to me. It is very nostalgic. The first time I ever smelled Lolita I just put a spray on each side of my neck and then went to the coffee shop and I smelled Licorice cherries and violet so strong and I could never find that exact scent again even though Lolita has released what they claim to be the original formula or close to it is not the same but cherry cherry smells exactly what I remember from the original Lolita I've only had it on for a half hour so maybe it'll change but right now I love this.

Anyone missing Cherry in Cherry Cherry's scorched their olfactory system to oblivion. Put down the fumes and cleanse, friends! It's a hot little cherry bomb with a big blast that'll send you straight to Anosmia City as exhibited below if it's in your face. If you're one to macerate in a pile of nuclear creations daily, don't be surprised if you can't find what you're looking for in a fragrance labeled with the star note, TWICE.

I have not smelled Cherry Cherry but I do own Wild Cherry also by Mancera. The notes from their IG page and everywhere else are exactly the same. Wild Cherry is a very powdery fragrance and it's extremely loud. It's not fruity or tart at all. It's mostly cherry, Iris and the infamous Mancera musk. I'm almost 100% sure Mancera re-released Wild Cherry in a new bottle.

Just a reminder that frags with the EXACT same notes can small 100% different just like MFK gold & silver fluidity. I think from the sounds of it that this one will present the cherry more than the wild cherry version, but still hold the same DNA, and powderyness as wild cherry; but I guess we shall see. I hope it's different and as good as it sounds.

The heart reveals blooming iris, jasmine, and heliotrope, forming a delicate floral accord. The composition is rounded off by warm notes of Sumatra patchouli, Madagascar vanilla, and sandalwood.

The opening is fresh, sparkling, and cherry-like but leans too feminine. After 1–2 hours, it dries down to a fruity-powdery scent - reminiscent of Oudmazing, with similar heart and base notes. It’s pleasant, though hard to find an occasion to wear it, and I wish it were more unisex. Longevity is excellent; sillage untested (wrist only)

This is the exact same fragrance as Wild Cherry also by Mancera. It's a cherry powder bomb. I don't understand how anyone considers this as a juicy fragrance? It's mostly heliotrope and then cherries ground into talcum dust. You must like powdery fragrances to enjoy this.

People should stop voting notes on things they have never tried...This is a heavy black cherry scent for the most of the scent until a hint of vanilla and lemon comes in. Personally i dont think its pleasant, way too attacking and heavy as i said but smooth dry down

I really don't understand why ppl feel the need to vote and review fragrances on here that they've never even smelled before smh dumbest sh*t ever. Your opinion doesn't matter at all if you haven't even experienced the fragrance before lol ppl are ridiculous.

Cherry Cherry, by Mancera, smells like the most mouth watering, freshly squeezed, cherry juice. This gourmand fragrance, doesn't make me hungry, but it makes me thirsty. I think that any cherry perfume lover will also love this one.

Joining the cherry party a little too late ... with a mediocre offering !! Almost identical to guerlain's la petite robe noire series but a tad more earthy ( strong patchouli ) .. Does not worth sampling imo

Opens a bit medicinal, kind of giving cherry cough drop. But after about 10 mins it's lovely. Powdery cherry, and a bit woody. I like it, but I think I still prefer my fave- Cherry Ambition by the 7 virtues.

In this I get the cherry in the opening and then in calms into the Orris and patchouli mid lasting and then the vanilla drydown. As I of now I like it but have to rest it some more.
