Cinque Terre

WOW. Just... WOW. This is my second review of Cinque Terre, and somehow it’s gotten even better with time. When I first bought it, I wasn’t impressed with the performance projection and longevity felt weak. But after sitting for about a month, this fragrance transformed. I went a little wild this morning (about 10 sprays, not gonna lie), and the reactions spoke for themselves. At school, one friend immediately said, “Once you walked up, I got a huge whiff of perfume.” Okay, cool yk just sprayed it. But then six hours later a friend standing a few feet away asked, “Are you wearing fragrance?” By that point, I had gone completely nose blind, but she still caught it instantly. That’s when I realized: Cinque Terre had leveled up to full-on beast mode. Opening (first 30 mins): A salty, bright lemon with piney freshness better than you’d ever expect with oak-moss to keep it with a masculine undertone Mid Notes: Here’s where the magic happens. Juicy, sweet, and almost addictive fig takes center stage, softened and enhanced by the smooth sweetness of tonka. This stage is where it truly shines and becomes something special. Dry Down: Still figgy and sweet, but more balanced lingering beautifully for hours without losing character. Performance (After Maceration): Projection: 10/10 (people will smell you easily) Longevity: 10/10 (8–10 hours, no problem) Scent Itself: 15/10 (yes, it’s that good) Final Thoughts: Cinque Terre is hands down the most underrated Mancera by far. It’s salty, fruity, fresh, sweet, and just addictive. Honestly, part of me wants to keep this a secret; this fragrance deserves more love, but at the same time, maybe it’s better if it stays a little hidden gem. Overall Rating: 10/10 (Underrated masterpiece. Don’t sleep on this one.)

My newest pickup and honestly, it blew my socks off. I’ll admit up front: I’m a sucker for anything fresh, woody, and lemon-forward. But even with that bias, this one stands out. Cinque Terre smells like pure summer. Imagine a blazing hot afternoon, sitting outside under the sun, maybe on a freshly mowed lawn. You’re sweating a bit, but it feels good like that kind of cleanse only summer heat can give. You’ve got a cold lemon drink in hand, the air smells faintly of pine and spice, and there’s a sense of calm wrapped in the buzz of the day. That’s the exact vibe this fragrance delivers. It’s citrusy but not sharp, woody but not heavy. There’s a spicy warmth beneath the brightness that gives it body and complexity. It doesn’t just sit on the skin, it lives on it. Its powerful for the first hour then goes into a skin scent for me 8 hours, And in the best way possible, it makes you feel clean, alive, and just a little bit sun-kissed.This scent is beautiful, underrated, and 100% gatekeep-worthy. It’s not trying too hard it just is what it is: a clean, refreshing, elegant fragrance that nails its concept. If you’re into summery lemon-woods with a classy twist, this one’s a no-brainer. Rating: 9.5/10 I will be gatekeeping the hell out of this

This stuff is amazing. I let my gf smell it quickly from the atomizer at the mall, and she said it smelled like me. So I ordered it even without testing it on skin, which I know is usually a mistake. It turned out to be one of my favorites in my entire collection, and probably my GOAT for the summer. It lasts forever (12+ hours on skin, and I’ve only had it 3 days but it’s still very strong on my clothes). I even wake up the next morning getting whiffs of it... which rarely ever happens for me. On clothes, the dry down sorta reminds me of The Flight of Passage Avatar ride at Disney World (IYKYK). To me, it’s such a clean, slightly salty and slightly sweet, aquatic fragrance. It smells like no other cologne I’ve smelled. I’ve only had it for 3 days and already got a compliment from a waitress that wasn’t even near me when I walked in the room. I wear cologne all the time and it’s rare when I get a compliment out in public. I know it projects like crazy. For a fresh, summer scent, I would say the performance is BEAST MODE. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beast mode summer fragrance that is mass appealing and addicting.

I get the green but there's just as much if not more blue notes I detect also, refreshing opening that matures into the dry down where this fragrance is a little reminiscent of sauvage eau de parfum but dialed back and more refined, this is a scent for spring and summer that can be worn confidently knowing you're covered with the typical mancera performance. Definitely blind buying safe and certainly worth a spot in the rotation, this is a niche fragrance that's mass appealing and it does smell really good, this is one of those easy to reach for can't go wrong fragrances. Edit- after 4 wks i can confidently say this is the longest lasting fresh scent i know of and will easily last a full day wearing but of course if it's absolutely stinking hot and you're sweating profusely nothing's going to help that situation although this would fair better than most other fragrances, definitely full bottle worthy.

when i bought this fragrance i sprayed one spray on my hand i kid you not I could not get it of my hand for 2 days first 6-7 bours it had a strong silage literally it was leaving a strong scent of salt pine tree and little bit of sea smell very similar to megamare after that it settled to a nice sweet amber but yet still salty and fresh its so nice day two absolutely the same i must say i washed my hands multiple times a day and had a bath at night it still stayed on my hand the second day the performance is immaculate its currently winter outside temp is not going above 5 degrees celsius and its absolutely crushing it i cant wait to wear this at summer and see how it performs in heat if you love sea perfumes and dont want to smell generic like everybody around you this is a go to perfume and easily daily scent and all year round

Tried this on skin at a local scent bar and went to buy a full bottle the next day. At the start it reminds me of 40 Knots, a woody scent with that saltyness coming through that creates a false sense of the sea despite not smelling overly blue or aquatic. After a couple more hours on my skin I struggle to explain it but it has the same addicting smell as megamare. I cant take my arm away from my nose when wearing this it's just too enjoyable to smell. I adore megamare and I adore this as well. I think scents like these are not the most liked by the general public so I would hesitate to overspray or listen too closely to the reviews on these scents. If you like woody dark aquatics, or megamare, I think this is worth testing on skin. Especially when considering the Mancera pricepoint from discounters.

By far my longest lasting fragrance I own, it is also very versatile, I could wear it going for ice cream on a summer night or in the morning during winter. I wouldn't wear it in super formal occasions but it definitely isn't horrible for that. now for what it smells like, it smells like a woody Pina colada, that is the best analogy I could make, smells wonderful I dont have anything that smells like it. it will definitely make you stand out. only complaint is that one spray projects immensely and stays on for literally days. I put one spray on my neck Saturday night, took 1 shower when I got back home, took a shower Sunday morning before work and I could still smell it until about noon. 9/10

I opened an account to comment this but this fragrance actually smells the most similar to the discontinued boss bottled pacific. That is one of my all time favorites and I bought a 100ml bottle for wayyy more than I should but now I just got this mancera and man do they smell similar. They aren't a 1:1 because this mancera lacks the coconut, but definitely one of the closest matches. I've been on the hunt for something similar to pacific for about a year now and trust me the ones that are voted here don't work, not the issey miyake and not guess 1981, especially not le Beau le parfum. This mancera is the closest to the legendary boss. Now I just have to find a boss Marine look alike.

Nice fresh fragrance that can also be worn on cooler days. The opening combination of Lemon and Rosemary gives this composition a hint of Italian-style cogone vibe. The combination of Ambergris (declared on the Brand's Website), and the rest of the notes, results in a sweet, oceanic, woody, citrusy, aromatic, green and earthy fragrance (Ambergris may also have earthy, musky and sweet nuances). Office-safe, unisex (leaning masculine), versatile, with moderate projection and 8+ hours of longevity. Holiday in a bottle, and then some.

This is not your typical aquatic or blue fragrance. I really enjoy this scent, and I think it’s extremely wearable. I’ve smelled Megamare before and personally didn’t like it, but I loved Cinque Terre. To me, it smells like a rainy day by the ocean, with waves crashing against wet rocks. It has a fresh marine feel, but also something darker, moodier, and more atmospheric than most “blue” fragrances. (All of this in the best way possible) (leans more masculine)

Got this at full retail directly from Mancera since noone had it at a better price. I mean, 80 percent of Manceras can be had at discounters for like half price, but not this one. Sampled it during my stay in Thailand. It smelled super nice and fresh and had great longevity in 35 degrees celcius. So I had to have it. Yeah, it does smell a bit synthetic, but I still love it. Very masculine and with a great summer vibe.

I love it and I quite honestly do not understand some of the comments here It projects, you can get the salt in spades (one of the reasons I wanted it) , I find it perfect for spring and summer (I live in greece so it should be perfect for a walk by the beach or anywhere close to the sea sore) , and It is oily (meaning it still shines on my skin after applying it. Worthy addition to my mancera collection !

For me, on my skin - I get rosemary and salt and boy oh boy do I get it, honestly makes me feel like wearing linen shorts or shirt walking on the beach with my wife, after 1 - 2 hours the tonka bean comes through and it’s honestly becomes sweet enough I think it could be worn in fall. For sure a day time fragrance and safe for and office setting

Opening is quite fresh and citrussy. Get a bit of rosemary too. After about 10min it starts to lean more woody and masculine and the citrus dies down quite a bit. Also has the standard mancera longevity which is quite good. Honestly my favourite Mancera so far 9/10.

Some similarities to hacivat X + merchant of venice the blue one but with sweeter note ..i feel like it smells like sunshine and sand 😍.. i give the smell 9.5/10 i really liked it.. but for longevity and sillage still under trial

This has quickly moved into my top 3 from the house alongside Intense Cedrat Boise and Aoud Lemon Mint. I can't stop sniffing myself while wearing this! Long lasting and great projection and sillage!

This is summer nights. Or spring/fall days. It's amazing. Woody. Green. A little sweet. But I don't get the aquatic vibes. This a great cool weather date scent. And it's long lasting. 9.1/10

French Riviera gets all the hype but i prefer this. Green, clean, fresh, aquatic. Absolute beast performance.

Sampling Mancera Cinque Terre, a 2024 release that’s part of the Azure collection. It’s a lively blend of citruses, herbs, and woods, feeling like the Italian coast meeting a vibrant forest with resins, ever so slightly sweet, but overall a citric, green, woody, signature-scent-type experience. Its opening is definitely the most interesting part to me, in which the balance feels best, some tartness, rosemary, green woods, and sea salt coming together quite nicely in something that I feel like I could wear every day in summer and most days in winter, an invigorating daytime scent that’s classy enough for the evening. In its dry down, it becomes a bit more sober, as the woods, resins, and tonka make their way into the mix, still pleasant and interesting, but not as outstanding as the opening. Cinque Terre is EDP concentration with the current standard house pricing of $190/125 for 120/60ml, sold on the house website and via great US boutiques like Olfactif and Ministry of Scent. It performs well and overall I think it’s a nice, versatile entry that, while not stunning, is quite pleasant to the point that I might consider buying it some time. 7 out of 10

Very teal style fragrance, bringing blue and green elements. The pine is prominent throughout. The opening has a slight lemon note with cool spice. Very cooling feeling overall. The drydown keeps the pine prominent. I get almost a creamy coconut suntan lotion scent. There is warmth now compared to the airy coolness of the opening. The salitness and cedar is there, making it feel very dry and coastal. There is a earthy moss smell, but not overally dirty earth. Just green. The creaminess and pine is the main profile so if youre not a pine person, youll likely not enjoy this. While less aquatic-blue definitely falls into the teal category. French Riviera is lemon forward and more aquatic, Cinque Terre is pine forward and a salty wood profile. Think some driftwood on the shores of the pacific northwest. The sillage is great, longevity is good. Im not a big freshie aquatics guy but Cinque Terre is a good one in my book. While it doesnt compete with Bleue de Issey for me (the best teal style fragrance ever), it is a great summer scent for those who want a little more masculine edge and less fruity or citrus.

This is definitely a lighter version of Megamare. It has a salty, aquatic, marine vibe, but I don't get Invictus. I applied 4 sprays to the skin and 3 to my shirt, and 30 minutes later, my wife could smell it strongly from 50 feet away in our house. It's not as synthetic or harsh as Megamare; it's a lot smoother, but I can still pick up a heaping helping of amberwood carrying this. The opening does go its own way, but once it hits its stride in the mid to the dry down, it's megamare toned down and a lot smoother. It's 10 hours later, and it's skin scent. Not beastly, but if you think this isn't strong, it's because of the ambroxian/amberwoods are playing tricks on you. I thought this would be more of a freshy and not a megamare mashup/alt. Nonetheless, it's good, 7.5/10 good. I may revisit next summer and see what it does in the heat.

i usually dislike anything mancera but this one was actually surprising! it's very sea salt and fig heavy, which i personally like. i can imagine this being a daily wear for the hotter days. it reminds me of sous le pont mirabeau by ELDO but without the spices (thank god). it's sitting on a rocky forested beach and breathing in the salty air and all the other marine qualities... might upgrade to a full bottle if i keep on loving this

A very decent classical good quality cologne, manly man, the kind my grandfather used to wear, and I mean that in the best way, because he was great. It's strong and long lasting, so be careful not to overspray, it will lose the charm and not be pleasant. Spicy and herbal in a Mediterranean way. I use it as a room spray, not in a degrading way, but as a mood lifter.

Yes, if you love Invictus Parfum, you’ll like this one too. It’s not the same at all—it’s less soapy and synthetic, more aromatic, and has a niche-like character. It also feels a bit more unisex. Not my favorite, but still really good. I’ll wait for a good price at the discounters before buying it.

Jesus christ this is ETERNAL and strong as fuck. This opens up super beautiful and it made me immediately think of the Rabanne Invictus family but absolutely nuclear. If you think Invictus line is for sissy sprayers but you like that sweet marine DNA then this is for you. But anyways the first opening and the first hour is sweet bubblegummy and marine, everything is happy and energetic. But then the drydown hits and you're now dragged into the deep waters of nuclear performance, in the base at first you think this is kinda ambroxany, a bit sauvage. Except this just lasts and lasts until that oakmoss tonka combo start to become cloying and grating on you and your nose wears out. But it doesn't stop, you smell it everywhere, it's overwhelming you. This fragrance has that same problem that Amberful has where it starts very appealing but when all the surface is washed away you're just left with a barrage of super masculine base notes that just keep pounding you down. But if you thought French Riviera was too feminine then this is the fix for you. ASSERT DOMINANCE and wear 8 sprays of cinque terre. Note: NOT GYM SAFE

Nose Note #953 Yeah, it's indeed like a mix between Megamare and Invictus. It's kind of a cool (literally) mass-appealing scent of lemon and something slightly tropical and sea-like, not exactly salty. It's not bad, but something about it I really don't like, maybe it's the calone molecule, it's something slightly semen-like (yeah...), seaweedy, but that's if you try to dig into the scent. I think the intention was to make a Megamare adjacent summer fragrance, but more mass-appealing and sweet and I think the goal was achieved, but the overall result is not that beautiful, let's put it this way. So no wonder the rating of 3.8. Almost unisex, but slightly masculine. Strong for a fresh fragrance. OK sillage. 5.8/10, some people refrerences Rave Now Intense - that's spot on. Similarly underwhelming and a bit strange and somewhat like Polo Blue, but bad

This is not fresh, nor aquatic. Any freshness lasts about 15 minutes. Suitable for spring, but I wouldn't wear this in hot weather. Dry down: - Sugary sweet, making it relatively generic and unidimensional. - 80% similar to JPG Scandal or its clone Armaf Odissey Mandarin Sky. I agree it's unisex. Smell nice, like a designer fragrance, and by no means this will make you to think you're near the beach in Cinque Terre in Italy... as most of Montale and Mancera, their naming is usually misleading. Overall 6.5/10 If you like very sweet fragrances, go for it, but for sure nothing you've not smelled elsewhere.

I’ve blind a sample of this fragrance. Can’t say I’m in love with it but it’s definitely on the pleasant side. It smells warm, ambery, salty, a bit citrusy in the beginning. I also get tonka bean and cypress. I’ve seen comparisons to megamare which I’ve worn for quite some time and I can assure you the only thing they got in common is the note of salts but even it is much different in megamare where it’s like marine note but here it’s more of a salt sauna note. Not sure about buying the whole bottle though I’ll wearing it a bit more.

dark-ish salty amber aquatic fragrance. First thing that popped into my head upon smelling this was ADG Profondo Parfum. Super salty and green but dark/heavy at the same time. Typical nuclear Mancera performance, however this one is not for me. I highly recommend sampling. Don’t listen to these goofs with broken noses on here about how this smells. If you want an accurate representation of what this smells like, go by what TLTG says on YouTube (even though I hate him), he is quite accurate in his interpretation of this one.

I think all the notes work really well in combination with each other. The only issue is that it feels like it is close to 3% actual concentration, even less intense than a cologne. I could not smell this scent after about 90 minutes on the tester strip or on my arm. If the notes here were way more intense, prominent, and long-lasting, this would be a really amazing fragrance.

Tested on strip : very faint smell, tested it on skin the same. Opening is Light, woody, salty/marine/bleach, citrusy scent. Dries down to a heavy marine, slightly green scent. I dont like the marine aspect of the scent, smells like a swimming pool. Longevity is also ass - about 3h.

I was looking for this one for a long time and this is actually so underrated...

Opens up to a semi-synthetic lemon juice and rosemary. When I smell it initially, it actually reminds me somewhat of some of the JPG le males (le parfum) - the cardamom and tonka feels kind of bisch-y which I'm slightly disappointed by. it feels like the lemon goes hand in hand with a lavender-like tonka that smells a lot like Le Male Le parfum. It doesn't strike me as particularly airy or salty, it's warmer than I would've hoped for something that advertises itself like this. It's pleasant smelling, an easy crowdpleaser, but the tonka is a bit too strong, and it feels like it's removing its personality. I'm getting the tiniest hint of salt and pine, but admittedly it's something you likely would not be able to notice on a bypasser wearing it. Dry down is mostly a tonka with some sharp woodiness and slight aromatics, wood is reminiscent of pine, but very synthetic. Smells like a slightly woody JPG le mele le parfum. Mancera have had some good ones in recent years, but this one is very middle-of-the-road. I was hoping for a fresh, airy, salty, piny and lemony scent with a base of oakmoss and sandalwood, but instead, it's like washing your floor with lemon soap while you're wearing JPG le Male

I just tried a sample of Cinque Terre from Ministry of Scent (one spritz on my wrist), and while it would not be the first time that my nose (my taste in fragrance) runs counter to nearly everyone else, I must say that I find it unpleasantly overpowering, cloying, even suffocating. In short: I really do not like this. I tried washing it off my wrist with Dawn, but it's still there and I suspect it will be tomorrow even after my morning shower. Normally, given many of the notes described, I at least ought to like this, but there is something much too peppery, sharp, and strident even after having washed my hand, that simply puts me off. One reviewer mentions a similarity with JPG Le Male, which I dislike, so perhaps my reaction is just true to self. Normally, I would give a sample I didn't like to a friend, but then I wouldn't want to smell it on him even with the possibility that he might like it. Memo to self: try on a paper strip first.

Have you been having the toughest time finding that perfect scent that will make you smell like a grade-A douche bag stuck in the late 2000s-early 2010s? Well look no further. I got you. It's Cinque Terre. This stench smells like a night terror involving pina coladas and a bar counter freshly applied with lemon disinfectant (the bartender definitely sprayed onto the surface and NOT the cloth, if you know what I mean). The rest is just the garden variety high impact aromachemicals that the Mancera/Montale crew love to overdose to elicit migraines on the unsuspecting public. No I don't get a bit of rosemary. The funniest part is reading other reviews stating that this a relatively weak performer. Are you all on heavy drugs?

I completely agree with the review PrinceofWhales gave. This is not fresh at all. Whatever is in the base clings to the skin and is very overwhelming. I wore it to the gym and nearly choked myself out, then trying to scrub it off was unsuccessful. It’s very confusing that the marketing for this portrays a fresh, seaside, carefree, sunny day out on the Italian coast - this scent is far from that! If you are looking for a freshie, this is not it.

This is an exact copy of Montale's Herbal Aquatica. I just received my sample and from the first spray there it was Herbal Aquatica. I guess Mancera/Montal has too many fragrances that now they just copy from their own house just in another bottle with a different ml sizes. Glad I tried it before purchasing a whole bottle.

This is complete garbage but perfect for a 17 year old.

Just a first impression. First I would like to say that this fragrance for me is right up my alley! Now that I'm pushing the big 40 my palate has changed big time. I still enjoy a lot of youthful fragrances but I now have fallen in love with most of the mature ones at this point in my fragrance journey. I actually wear fragrances because I .... "I" love them and not necessarily because I'm trying to garner attention. That out the way. This to my nose is a very mature fresh fragrance. To best describe this fragrance in my opinion if you imagine Polo Green, Megamare, and Boss Bottled Pacific mixed together with a bit of Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme just a hint of it into one fragrance. Now I can't give an accurate longevity time because I've only tested this once. But with that test I got about 6-7hrs of longevity and about 2hrs of above average projection. This is not a beast mode fragrance but it will fill a pretty decent midsize area. If you like any of those fragrances listed above you will enjoy this one. While I can't see this one being something a younger person would like, it wouldn't be a far reach for them either. Price point. This is not worth the full retail price. I actually got mine for under $95 on Fragrance Net with a 40% discount. At that price I think it's pretty fair. So I encourage you do a little looking around from trusted discounters to find the right price first. I see this one eventually being in the sub $80 range when the hype dies down. Enjoy.

This one quickly became a summer staple for me. In my highly subjective experience, I get at least 5 to 6 hours of wear out of it. This one makes me homesick for the mediterranean coasts and beaches. The opening pierces my nose with sharp lemon, salt and a blue wave before breezy rosemary kicks in. The drydown to me smells like if you'd rub a rosemary branch against your skin. In general, I'm not the biggest fan of blue fragrances but this one stands out for me because of how "natural" it smells, the salt, the rosemary, the citrus, etc. I wouldn't classify this as a straightforwardly "blue" fragrance either way, it is rather a sort of blue-green balance and it has plenty of heft and typical Mancera weight to it thanks to the woody undertones. I personally prefer this one to "French Riviera" because I'm not the biggest fan of the sunscreen note in that one. Huge fan and so versatile in its application. I'm addicted to the transformative sensory ride this perfume provides. Wear this in summer when it's a million degrees outside and find yourself cooling down and grounding when you smell your wrist. Perfect for solitary sea observations and long walks in a small village with white walls perched on top of a cliff.

It’s not a bad thing when I say this fragrance reminds me of fresh rich soil. This fragrance literally smells like you are in the woods near a fresh water river and damp rich soil. This 100% smells like the earth. I get water and soil at once and it’s very interesting and unlike anything I’ve ever smelled before. Perfect for spring or fall, but perhaps not for the high heat summer. I’d even say perfect for a hike or an outdoors outing- you’d blend right in and become one with the forest. And although I like it and find it interesting, I would find it hard to go out wearing this if I am hanging with friends or at a get together. I have so many other favorites above this one that I’m doubtful if id ever reach for it. And on a side note, I really love the gradient colors on the bottle, it shifts from blue, to green, to yellow- like being out in the woods by a lake on a sunny day. Ultimately, I give it an 8 out of 10.

Opening: Boozy, fresh Mint a bit like mouthwash - loving it (rosemary + cardamom), Amberwood (woody sweetness), Moss/fresh musks in the background 8 mins in: the minty freshness gets laid over the amber wood, creating a creamy pine/minty strong core with the moss/fresh musk giving it a sensual/addictive facet. 1 hour later: the piny/minty note is now fully blended into an overall green creamy freshness. The sandalwood stands out enhancing the creamy quality while the moss/fresh musk intensifies and still holds strongly. For me this just keeps getting better... Final thoughts: The minty/piny note gives it a green fresh vibe that pushes me away, but then the cozy, creamy and warm sandalwood pulls me back in and the mossy/fresh musk holds and addicts me. wow, did not expect to like this that much, gives me mixed emotions just like an intense relationship of love and hate Sample it if u can, it's worth

Cinque Terre is a dense salty marine fragrance with a deep herbal seaweed effect that you will not really find in Orto Parisi Megamare, even though both share that powerful oceanic DNA. The best way I can describe it is like Megamare interpreted through a darker and denser seaweed lens — less airy freshness and more mineralic depth. It smells like wet sea rocks, salty wind, green herbs, and compressed ocean water with a rich textured feeling. Megamare is still amazing for its massive fresh oceanic impact, but if you want something with a heavier seaweed atmosphere and a more concentrated marine character, Cinque Terre goes beautifully in that direction. Longevity is also very good. It stays on skin for hours with a persistent salty marine aura that keeps evolving slowly throughout the wear.

I needed to give this some time in my collection before making this claim. But after many wearings at this point, to my nose this is the best Mancera fragrance. It's pretty close to perfection really. A bit of green, a bit of blue, a bit of sweet and a bit of salt. My partner isn't a fragrance person, she rarely says anything when I wear different fragrances. But Cinque Terre evoked a 'Wow, you smell really good, what is that?'. This can be worn pretty much day/night and any season, it is absolutely a signature scent. Like most Mancera's the performance is spot on, in fact I think this one is quite potent where 2-3 sprays can do just fine for most scenarios. The word masterpiece is thrown around a bit too liberally perhaps, but for me, Cinque Terre is very much all of that.

This was far more impressive when I initially smelled it on a test strip at Niemann Marcus. It has Paco Rabanne DNA at its core and I feel as though it's almost a 1:1 for One Million Gold/Elixir with very, very subtle differences. Performance is well above average, per the usual for most Mancera fragrances and the presentation is solid. I got it for a very good price but I do regret making this purchase due to the redundancy of owning the previously mentioned Rabanne fragrances. It's very sunscreeny, nice summer scent with the potential to heighten a mood but nothing groundbreaking. This is for someone, IMHO, who may be starting a collection but if you do have a vast selection to begin with, this is gonna collect dust.
