Cosmic Pepper

This smells like a beautiful sea water mixed with citrus and musk. Those saying it's feminine are wild. It only smells feminine from a tester strip or when sniffing the bottle itself, the moment its on your skin, it's a beautiful blue, slightly very slightly floral, mixing up with a beautiful musky base. To those also saying there is no pepper in this, whaa? It literally makes me want to sneeze almost at times especially in the first hour after applying. Just because it doesn't smell like a black pepper mill in a fancy restaraunt doesn't mean it doens'nt have the pepper because its definitely there. Greatly masked by the citrus, rose, musk and tonka, but it's fresh and spicy enough to put it in the blue category for me, in a bit more of a niche style as dude below me mentioned. Good performance. Made me not want to pick up a bottle of CAHSEE, especially at only 80 bucks from Jomashop. probably about 10 hours or more before it really fades to a skin scent. Relatively strong sillage all in all, but not a monster. Definitely a spring and cooler summer day kind of scent, but I imagine you could do this one every day of the year and it wouldn't really be bad. This stuff reminded me of a few frags I've encountered, namely the obvious one here CAHSEE, but the comparison is really kind of different. Like its there but not identical by any stretch at all. It also reminds me a TINY touch of Versace Eros, but this is really only in brief moments of the opening, it turns into something much more blue, like if Eros put out some sort of "Blue" flanker with touches of the original DNA. Oddly, one that's listed on here that I can kind of get the similarity of is LNDH, but this is REALLY SLIGHT, like LNDH, but if it were more made for spring and summer. Not really much more to say here. Normally my reviews can get lengthy, not so much on this one. Pretty straight forward. This for me as of this moment being it's cold af outside, I think I need to let this grow on me and hit it on a nice warm day in the coming months, and I'll likely really start to love this. Right now its just a really big like. Lol. This reminds me of if CAHSEE and BDC had some kind of baby or something.

For some reason I find that I'm the only person who gets the pepper in this, whether it be because of my bottle, my nose, or my skin chemistry? but I get an opening of aromatics, citrus, and pepper on my skin. dry down is kind of linear, where it loses some of the citrus and pepper, and the musk starts taking center stage with citrus and pepper playing supporting roles. it's nostalgic of the top tier men's fragrances of the early to mid 2000's, which I enjoy because I remember smelling something like this off of every cool older guy when I was young, and so I feel like I step into that when i wear it. never smelled allure homme sport eau extreme, wish i did so i could be able to compare it, but i haven't. a friend of mine from work who is well acquainted with BDC and chanel DNA in general says that it has a similarity to chanel's DNAs, so there's that. 9/10, can be used almost any time of day/year. and ofc, mancera's atomizer is F A N T A S T I C. UPDATE*** I now own Chanel Eau Extreme, got it super cheap from FB groups. They're extremely similar, except Cosmic pepper leans towards a spicier, peppery end, and Eau Extreme goes more fresh and a little soapy. Both musky, fresh, aromatic, peppery, but this one goes more big red gum peppery, and Eau Extreme's mintiness gives it a different take in a fresher direction. Both fantastic, I rate them the same, and if you like one, you'll probably like the other... however I let eau extreme dry down more.. and after letting it dry down I get a powdery smell that is nostalgic of prada luna rossa black at the very tail end of the scent, which is DIFFERENT than cosmic pepper. i will give the win to eau extreme, just by half a point, because it's not as linear as cosmic pepper. cosmic pepper's dry down is musky, but doesn't quite hit the powderiness of eau extreme

I have Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, and after five years, I still haven't finished my bottle since I don't wear it. I wanted to use this opportunity to test them both, Mancera on one hand and Chanel on the other. Keep in mind i don't like this scent profile. On opening, they are 85% similar, really close, but the Mancera gives off a sweeter, less pepper-heavy scent that is more synthetic but also less sharp. Both remind me of dish soap, but the Mancera more so, which I don't like. On the dry down, the Mancera projects much more and is stronger in every way, but the scent itself softens and turns into a more fruity white musk scent compared to the sharper Chanel scent. At this point, I prefer the way the Chanel smells from the start to the four-hour mark; it's just more refined and smells less soapy (still don't like it). After the four-hour mark, the Chanel turns into a skin scent, with no change, while the Mancera still projects and turns into a smooth citrus white musk blend that isn't bad and reminds me slightly of Gold Prestigium, which I love. Mancera performs better, much better. It is 1/3 the price per ml and smells relatively close to the Chanel DNA, but I feel like their take on it doesn't add anything to the DNA and just makes it more unfocused and worse-smelling. If you love Chanel's offering, I suggest trying this because it could be an alternative, but as a person who doesn't even like the superior scent in this DNA, this is a big no for me. Same grade as Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. 7/10 Update - It has grown on me greatly and I prefer it to Homme Sport. Its really pleasant and even thought it reminds of of a shower gel the extra debth really made me love it for everyday use. 8.3/10

First impressions, this is really nice. Creamy orange/tangerine, no oud, cant smell any pepper, slight rose in background, musk & tonka bean in the base. It does remind me of YSL L'homme as I tried it a few times, its also reminds me a slight bit of Amiri from Arabian oud as well. Daily wear and sexy. It's a little much for the first 45 minutes and there is a slight synthetic edge but once it settles it becomes very nice and rounded. I will come back and update with performance but I really like this as an easy reach. Most mass appealing Ive tested from this house. It was a safe blind buy for me as I mostly wear these scent profiles. Edit: This has moderate projection with moderate sillage throughout the day. Lasted a good 8 hours and would push nicely sending out wafts here and there. I cant wait for this to macerate. Happy with my blind buy as this is a great fragrance. Once it becomes more available for sampling I recommend sampling this. Stays true to the fragrances I mentioned and the ones in the "smells like" section. If you are looking for any of those profiles but are tired of poor performance check this out. A classy versatile wear. Edit 2: This fell victim to this years wave of covid. I wore it the day I came down with this years variant and started paxlovid. Now I cant go near it without gaging from the metal taste that paxlovid gave me. Ruined. moved to my swap shelf.

This stuff smells great. Projection is above average, basically arms length after first hour but people will pick up a good scent trail as you pass them, you should get compliments from time to time as others will find it pleasant. It definitely smells better when you pick up whiffs of it in the air, not when you put your nose up to it. I've found it has 6 - 8 hours of performance which is more than long enough for office wear etc. After 8 hours for me it is basically a skin scent. For a more fresh frag this one will do just fine and perform way better than the designer houses watered down rubbish they pump out. If you know someone who complains about their frags not lasting long enough then Mancera is the niche gateway to introduce them to, as you can get them for designer prices and they actually project and last. People who are deep into niche frags may find this meh and too safe, but idgaf, I find it classy and signature scent worthy for spring/summer. If you can find it at discounters for a steal its a 9/10, otherwise if you're willing to pay retail its 7/10. Scent 8.5/10 Projection 7/10 Longevity 8/10 Price: 7/10 Overall: 8/10

Probably my favorite Mancera so far. This one’s a beautiful fresh-spicy fragrance that reminds me a lot of Chanel Allure Homme Sport, but with Mancera’s signature richness and that extra pepper kick. It opens bright and energetic — lemon, pink pepper, and aromatic sage give you that crisp, fizzy freshness right off the top. As it settles, you start to catch a touch of black pepper in the mid, but the real stars here are in the dry-down: that creamy tonka bean, clean white musk, and a hint of ambergris that smooth everything out. If you’ve smelled anything from the Allure Homme line and enjoyed it, you’ll absolutely love this. It’s got the same classy, versatile vibe — just amped up in projection and longevity like you’d expect from Mancera. Not quite Red Tobacco beast mode, but still way better performing than the Chanel. Overall, it’s fresh, aromatic, creamy, and incredibly easy to wear. A scent that feels put-together without trying too hard — classy, not juvenile, and never too sweet. 9/10 — if Allure Homme Sport hit the gym and came back with a little extra swagger, this would be it.

We all know mancera definitely has unique fragrances, and this one is definitely unique! First sniff a fruit sweet slight sour peppery very aromatic all of very unique smell nothing like I’ve smelled or even read in other reviews. Even though the notes of pepper are what we’re use to seeing but that twist to how this was composed, definitely out of this world. Drying down still peppered up but not heavy enough that a floral rose hint and wood, now it’s like that Oud but it’s not the Oud that is give that OUD stink but smooth, honestly the floral and peppery tone is what in my opinion is balancing the Oud so it’s not overwhelming. Then it gives this warm tonka with some earthiness to it. This fragrance is mind blowing out of this world! Now on the more honest side, this fragrance isn’t (this is my opinion) ready to be worn instantly. Like it’s good right now, but I know with more time it’s going to be EVEN BETTER! This was a well worth it blind buy! Another fragrance I can’t wait until everyone else gets their hands on it and hear everyone else thoughts!

This is another example of how mass appealing the general release from Mancera can be. If you made an assumption by the name, you would expect something entirely different from what you're given. This is an extremely light wearing scent. Bordering on ethereal, this one has some spice to it but it's incredibly subtle. The black and pink pepper elements are swimming within the larger note structure. Never really stepping out into the forefront, or leading positions. You're getting a lot of the citruses, some sage, a bit of rose and a general sweetness from the tonka here. Not a massive projector from what I can tell, this will last the standard amount of time for a fresh type scent. It's one if the safest scents with the word pepper in the name I think I've ever come across to date. A safe blind buy if you're a fan of lighter scents, a safe office scent, it works just about any time or place, but I wouldn't take it out in really cold weather.

Think of a big hit designer perfume with mass appeal, now add turbo on it — that’s Cosmic Pepper. It opens with a WOW effect. The first thing I did was stop and say, “F***, this is good.” It’s bold, clean, and grabs attention right away. The dry down stays pretty linear, but it works. It’s still loud enough to be noticed, but smooth and easy to wear. Pure mass appeal. It doesn’t try to reinvent anything, but it nails what it’s going for. Some people mention a bubblegum sweetness, and I get that — but it leans more masculine than boyish. It’s polished, not playful. Definitely not office-friendly. It’s LOUD — room-filling loud. You walk in, and people know you’re wearing something. Probably the easiest blind buy from Mancera. Super versatile, easygoing, and fits perfectly for a 30-something guy who wants something fresh, confident, and straightforward.

Picked this up recently and I am really enjoying it. To my nose it is very close to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême. Despite the name the pepper is not overwhelming. It plays more of a supporting role that lingers through the whole wear. Performance is where it really shines. It is stronger than the Chanel although not quite as smooth. The dry down turns into this creamy almost sandalwood like vibe even though sandalwood is not listed. I think it is the mix of musk and tonka bean giving that effect. Projection is strong for the first two hours and I am getting about seven hours total longevity which I consider great for something on the fresher side. Very versatile and non offensive and honestly feels like it could work all year round. Just avoid too many sprays.

Nose Note #1077 I haven't tried Eau Extreme, but this is substantially different from the simple version. Namely there's no orange. The creaminess is very similar, but it surrounds a different kind of citrus and it's not a realistic lemon. It's just some vague orange-esque citrus. It is much more aggressive than Chanel. I never felt like Allure Homme Sport was a perfromer - but this one is definately longer lasting. It won't work as a substitute if you love AHS, but if you have no other choice because price is the main deal - this will definately do. Similarly mass appealing scent that's very recognizable and the performance is great. Not a "sport" fragrance though. 8.3/10

This is a clean, cool, and fresh scent. I would recommend it for summer, spring and the gym. Citrus, sage, pepper, musk. To me its very mineralic, reminiscent of prada luna rossa carbon. The musky, powdery aspect of it makes it interesting. There is a little sweetness, mostly on my skin, not on paper. The oud is barely there, but it gives the perfume some body. The performance is not out of this world, but still good for a freshie. I wouldn't say this is the most unique fragrance, but it is very good, even addicting. I can't imagine this scent being worn buy a woman, I think its very masculine. Its easy to wear, and blind buy safe, if you are looking for what I described.

Finally got my sample. Ordering a bottle immediately. This is far better than all of the Chanel fragrances it is being compared to in every way. Smell, performance, and price...why anyone would consider CAHS or CAHSEE over this is mind-boggling to me. This is what Allure homme sport wants to be when it grows up and moves out of its parents house. In addition to this smelling better and performing better, a 4.2oz bottle can be had (on discounters) for HALF the price of the Chanels, since Chanel is too bougie for discounters. And this stuff outlasts CAHSEE by a significantly measurable amount on my skin. This stuff is awesome. But that's just my take on it. YMMV

This is the perfect summer evening fragrance. Not a clone of CAHS, VPH or YSL L’Homme. But it does come off as a bit of a hybrid of CAHS and YSL L’Homme. Opens up with a beautiful citrus & cardamom, then settles into its soft base. I can only tell there’s Oud because of the note breakdown- but don’t expect to pick up any Oud characteristics. This has Oud in the same way Y L’Elixir has Oud- non detectable. Absolute monster compliment puller with a good 3-6 ft scent bubble. Highly recommend this gem, especially in the current $80 range- I’m seriously considering a backup bottle. 9.5/10 in my book , I’m not ready to add it to my grail list of perfect 10’s 😜

This must be one of the weakest Mancera perfumes I've tried to date. The scent itself is quite nice and truly resembles Chanel's Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. But on my skin it barely projects and lasts 2-3 hours max with 2 sprays on both sides of my neck. On a paper strip, it's equally fleeting, so I do not think it's because of my skin, I don't have any issues with other Mancera perfumes or any other brands whatsoever. Perhaps I just got a bad batch. Hopefully leaving it for a couple of weeks/months will help increase its intensity and longevity. So for now, I'd give the scent itself 8/10, will update with the longevity and sillage after some time.

Someone called this a cross between AHSEE and La Nuit de l'Homme. For the most part I agree, but the big dash of pepper in the opening sets it apart. I really like that's it not overly woody and how everything works together in the slightly powdery dry down. I don't get the oud or rose notes that some do... if they're in there (?) they're very subtle. Overall, this is a quality scent that lends itself well to everything from business casual to weekend wear. I may not buy this again as there are so many other fragrances to try - but while I have it, I won't be afraid to wear it.

I was a bit disoriented at first. I didn't know if I liked it or NOT! Over time it became my favorite! I needed time to appreciate it. It took time for it to reveal its full brilliance and to capture every aspect of it. Lots of citrus, masterfully mixed with the right amount of oud - without being overpowering. The rose - if you don't know it's there, you might not even notice it. slightly peppery with the typical Mancera longevity and shine. Powerful and projecting, perfect for spring and summer - without the hottest days!

Smells very close to Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, I think it’s better. None of that musty sweat smell you can get from AHSEE. Powdery clean, tonka bean and citrus. If you need every fragrance to be groundbreaking, maybe you won’t like it? I don’t know it’s a beautiful smooth fragrance to me. Note: I’m an oversprayer. A couple of the office ladies followed my scent trail to tell me how good I smelled. Sprayed on at 6am and at 2pm was when I got the compliments. It’s a powerful fragrance like most Manceras are. 9/10

Ordered a bunch of samples and a sample of this was thrown in for free, and boy oh boy from the first sniff I fell in love. To my nose I get a fresh citrus in the opening, that has an almost warmth to it if that makes sense, and its backed by a soft sweetness that's not overpowering, just there in the background. This is a very versatile fragrance, but I get a later in the day but before sunset in the summer vibe to it. 9/10 imo and definetely will repurchase when I finish my bottle.

Bence harika bir parfum ama kalıcılık konusunda takıntılı olmayan benim icin bile bu parfum biraz zayıf geliyor. Biraz daha güçlü olda muhtemelen cok populer olurdu. Fazla sıkmak gerekiyor. Klasik erkek parfumleri tarafinda duran ama karabiber ve ağaç yosunu ile modern bir üslubu olan parfum

Possibly my favorite from Mancera. Another contender to be a signature scent. Dress up or dress down. Fully versatile, non offensive. There is pepper but it's not dominant, perhaps they'll do an intense version that showcases the pepper. Other than that, it reminds me of Mancera Aoud Violet in the dry down just without the violet, perhaps it's the musk and oakmoss. Pretty costly, but I was able to get a decent deal through Jomashop. 10/10

Was “meh” at first sniff. Was going to sell it and get my money back. But i gave it a chance and now i really enjoy it. Ive asked the opinion of woman and they loved it. Like enthusiastically liked it. Like the level of enthusiasm when i wear gris charnel extrait (clearly night and day scents but another compliment monster). Very impressive longevity. You’re going to smell it the next day when you wake up.

The name is a little misleading to be honest. Yes there is pepper in the opening, its pink pepper but pepper isn't the main player. Dries down to a : musky, peppery, slightly creamy vanilla (tonka bean) scent, not a bad combo. Strangely enough, in the air, this has similarities to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme (Musky, peppery, tonka bean) Worth sampling, it's quite nice and unique.

Fantastic fragrance! Smells very similar to Chanel Allure Homme Eau Extreme, but has its own thing going on as well. Fresh, spicy and musky with a hint of sweetness. If you like fresh fragrances then I don’t see anyone disliking this. Smooth and versatile, can be worn dressed up or casual. Performance is pretty solid on this one too. Can be bought for a really good price as well.

Wow, I am thoroughly surprised at how good this scent is. I blind bought it based off the notes and they did not disappoint. This smells mass appealing, and unique. The quality and longevity are very good as well. This to me is the same level as cedrat boise with how safe of a blind buy it is. I would say most if not all people will enjoy this scent. Smells so freaking good

Soon as I smelled it, this is the DNA of mancera I been looking for and I think this is what really missed this brand, an opportunity to appeal to more untrained noses who yearn for YSL L’homme, Allure Eau Extrême or even Aqua di Gio Profondo. A jack of all trades, all seasons, an ace up your sleeve. Safe to blind buy imo. Earned a place on my top shelf from wear 2.

Pretty simple equation here; this is Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme + Tom Ford Noir Extreme = Cosmic Pepper. Powdery, spicey with a touch of sweetness. It’s a versatile all-year rounder. If CAHSEE / TFNE is in your rotational wheelhouse, you will love this one. And, you get a lot more bang for your buck. Sign me up! Bottle purchased.

I have a 5ml decant of this for testing because I hear this frag is polarizing but wow.. this stuff is good. Lasts a very long time, projects REALLY well the first few hours, smells bright and sweet at the same time. This will definitely get you compliments and get you some extra looks from the soccer moms at the ballfields.

I expected something more peppery but I cannot say I am disappointed. It is well blended, definitely safe and all around fragrance, I like the way the way they used the aoud / rose combination and as for the pepper , it is there, but not in the forefront which I thought It would be. It is an interesting fragrance.

I like this a lot. Tbh, is not at all similar to Chanel AHSEE or Versace Pour Homme... For me, I mean for my nose, is very similar to LNDL or even LNDL Bleu Electrique... I really don't get anything from Chanel, Versace, Missoni Wave etc... But is a fresh, peppery scent, long lasting, for summer and office. 8/10.

similar to cahs ee def better imo yes so smooth and easy long lasting and decent scent bubble this is gonna be a big player in my rotation i say a post saying blue electric and cahs ee mixed and i see it but i do get a strong cahs from this just done better sporty fresh sweet mass appealing great fragrance.

When you initially spray you get a delicous tangerine and peppery opening, and for me on the first wear i get a rosey/musky mid and the base notes end up smelling very very similiar to chanel allure homme sport extreme. Pretty good all round scent and a cheaper option then the above mentioned base notes.

Big fan a of both Chanel allure & La nuit by YSL. This fragrance is in my eyes (or nose) a mix of both. I think it smells closer to Allure homme sport than it does to the eau extreme, and you somehow theres is that la nuit dna in it. Easy 9/10, good value aswell. 80 euros for a 120ml.

Fantastic fragrance has similarities to AHSEE and LNDL however it's fresher with middle eastern touches.Therefore this shares alot in common with Arabian Ouds Amiri though this is more powdery and spicy.Lovely scent I'd rate this a 9/10 one point knocked off for originality.

Decided to revisit this, and I can honestly say this is an underrated gem. The misleading name done more damage than good for what this fragrance actually is as it is absolutely not a peppery fragrance at all. Mass appealing dumb reach that will offend nobody.

Fresh, clean, musky, spicy everyday scent. Great for office and casual . This type of cologne does everything. Longevity , projection and sillage are great guys. My current favorite cologne 10/10 You can’t go wrong with fresh and clean scents .

I have a sample of this and it smells good, nothing mind blowing but a good every day scent, a little above average perforamance and longevity but I would not buy a full bottle unless you really like this fragrance.

One of my clubbing fragrance. I dont see myself wearing this on a humid summer(37C up). Maybe for a not so warm afternoon until midnight. It lasted 14hrs+ on my skin and radiating for 2hrs if i dont sweat.

Maybe a second review, didn't check. This is incredibly higher quality than any designer despite sharing some designer nuances. It's far more sophisticated when compared to peasant quality Chanel releases.

I really like it, It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's not boring. It It smells really good and is extremely versatile imo, can't wait to see how it performs in warmer weather.

Beautiful, easily all year round and definitely much deeper scent profile than Chanels. Peppers and lemon makes it crisp while rose, oud and musk supports it to the smoothness.

This is Chanel Allure Homme Sport with a dirtier opening. After 15 minutes it’s essentially the same thing as Allure but lasts 9+ hours where Chanel fades after 5...love it

I get ice melted soda vibe idk how to describe it, is really nice I love this one, I blind bought it, I got a compliment first day I wore it, classy versatile fresh.

This is Chanel Allure Homme Extreme but much much better. The quality, performance and scent profile is an order of magnitude better than Chanel.
