Fig Extasy

I needed some time with this one.. after a few months of macerating I’m finally starting to appreciate this. The fig in this has a milky quality, like the white latex the fig tree exudes when you pluck a fig directly from the tree. There’s a smoothness to this scent that took some getting used to, as for some reason it makes me feel almost uncomfortable. It’s not a metallic smoothness, nor is it the smoothness of polished wood.. it’s a strange sort of latex milky resinous type of smoothness.. it’s velvety too, so it has a story of creamy velvet feel to it overall. The scent itself is equally hard to describe. It’s well blended and individual notes don’t clearly stand out, although the fig is clearly there. I’m getting more of the incense note that it has macerated a while. It’s an incense before you burn it, no smokiness. The ginger gives it a hint of freshness at the top, almost minty, but it’s quite subdued. I actually wish the top had something to make it more.. zingy or sparkly.. something to bring it more to life. It has gotten a tiny bit more lively now that it has macerated, but it’s still awfully smooth from start to finish. I think it also doesn’t help that I’m not too crazy about velvety fragrances, they’re just too flawless and smooth and make me want to smash something. There’s a pretty, powdery lavender and the leather has come more forward after a few months too, giving this a lot more depth than it initially had. The vanilla rounds it off, although I can’t help but think that perhaps this scent could’ve been more lively without (or with less of) it as it adds more to that creamy velvet smoothness. All in all it’s a beautiful scent, with good projection and longevity. It’s not as intense and long lasting as some other mancera fragrances, but I find many of them too intense anyway. I do feel mancera and montale fragrances tend to develop less over time than other fragrances, which makes them less sophisticated to my nose than even many cheapies. Fig Extasy is one of the more delicate Mancera fragrances I’ve smelled, but I still feel it could develop more and be more interesting over time. All in all It’s a like, not a love. I think this smells best if you get whiffs of it from another person, rather than smelling the exact same thing constantly on yourself. Still a very pleasant fragrance, that is beautiful, long lasting and inoffensive.

Adam & Eve in sewn fig leaves being thrown out of Eden by the flaming cherubim... This sophisticated beauty is an understated charmer that's a little slow to warm up, but worth the wait. Opens with burst of wood smoke, incense and fig leaf that fades to a lather of soapy sandalwood with a green fig. After an hour or so, in the air I get a green aquatic fig, on the skin I get incense and wood smoke. To my nose, the fig note is not as sweet as you might expect and doesn't lean to sweet or dried fig, but rather a faint, aquatic, slightly under-ripe fresh fig, that leaves you wistfully longing for more. To me this is not what I would expect for a fig named fragrance, but it's beautiful. Overall: Well above average performance, although some have noticed it's not the nuclear Mancera norm. The dry down is worth the wait. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Contrast to Philosykos EDP Diptyque: These are different, but Fig Extasy is definitely inspired by Philosykos with a woody fig & fig leaf. Fig Extasy comes in hot with a more intense smokiness initially, until the bottle has aged, while Philosykos has a more forward lactonic quality. Fig Extasy has a slightly stronger performance. Contrast to Figue Sauvage Laurence Dumont: These are different although both are inspired by the work of Olivia Giacobetti with Philosykos & Premier Figuier L'Aritsan Parfumeur, however Fig Extasy is a more forward smokiness, while Figue Sauvage has a more forward sandalwood. Fig Extasy has a stronger performance. Contrast to Eau Gourmandes Fresh Fig Laura Mercier: These are different, but this scent is also inspired by the work of Olivia Giacobetti. Eau Gourmandes Fresh Fig is more similar to Figue Sauvage Laurence Dumont. Fig Extasy has a stronger performance. Update 04/18/25: This has aged so beautifully. It really smells like a high quality, sophisticated fig fragrance in the air. Much more fig than initially, and the smokiness is less intense and blended in way better (although a direct sniff can still burn a little). The projection is beautiful and longlasting - 1 spray lasted all day yesterday. Love it. 10/10.

My absolute favorite scent! Let's get the cons out of the way. This takes at least 2 weeks to macerate. There is an overwhelming bitterness that makes maceration necessary. Also, this fragrance comes alive with heat; skin chemistry is the main reason someone would like or dislike this fragrance. Some might say the fragrance is versatile, but I don't necessarily agree. This is a casual daytime fragrance (I wouldn't wear this on date night or the office). This fragrance starts out green and slightly figgy, with an underlying semi sweetness. If you spray heavier, the opening is more defined. The sweetness gets your attention but it doesn't satisfy you when you take a bigger whiff. Mancera released a marketing video for FE, where someone is inhaling deeply, in slow motion. That is the exact feeling of spraying this initially; you want to take a deep breath searching for the sweetness. After 15 to 20 minutes the the fragrance turns more into the green, bitter fig leaf smell. The green bitterness is complemented perfectly by the herbs and woods and leather, but more importantly it's complemented by the resinous, earthy dry vanilla coming out from the base. One thing I wanted to mention that I don't see on other reviews is that this fragrance also has an underlying "fresh linen" clean smell. You don't truly understand this fragrance until you experience the dry down a couple of hours in. The earthy, semi sweet, vanilla smell thats been in the background the whole time is now front and center. Some of the bitter green fig smell remains (depending on how much you sprayed) but the vanilla is the main star. The dry down makes me want to reapply and take the whole ride again. Recommended for outdoors people. The best experiences I've had with this fragrance were when I got slightly sweaty. Spring and fall beast; prob not the best in extreme cold or heat.

Fig Extasy has a really nice cedar note. I’m picky with my cedar, but, when well done, it’s one of my favorite notes. I got this for a great price from a rack store. This was the first time I’ve seen a Mancera at a brick and mortar discounter. I had no expectations for FE and it hadn’t been much on my radar prior, but as a fan of the brand I couldn’t pass up the price/opportunity. It was thoroughly worth the price. Fig Extasy is harmonious, the transitions are well-choreographed and make its wearing a more pleasant and interactive experience. The opening fig is sweet, smells jammy and scrumptious, the first spray is its most traditionally feminine moment, and I would say it is unisex throughout but leans masculine, becoming more masculine over time. The opening is rather fleeting and minutes later, it's on to its next phase. It transitions to greens and woods rather shortly after applying, where it remains for some time. I really enjoy the green notes and woods in this. Later the greens begin to fade and transition to woods and leather. The leather is more of a support at the beginning, but transitions to become more prominent as it progresses. At some stages of its life cycle, it is almost reminiscent of an unidentifiable Memo Paris fragrance. You could tell me it was a Memo flanker, and I would believe you. FE is well done and smooth. Great for spring and fall, good enough in summer and I think can easily be worn winter. This could be a contender for anyone’s signature scent, male or female. I wasn’t expecting to like this nearly as much as I do, but it’s very well done. The real star of the show is longevity, with easily over 12 hours on skin. Durable, and inoffensive, smooth, and pleasant. Perhaps not a huge wow factor, but reliable and easy to wear. 8/10

Wow! It smells just as good as I had hoped it would despite subverting my expectations. It is not the same as the similar scents list would lead you to believe, but If you like Fucking Fabulous from Tom Ford, you'll like this. It's lacking that signature Mancera harshness in the opening, it's very smooth. Never tried a fig fragrance? No problem, the fig is ephemeral and quickly sinks into the back of the fragrance anywhere from 10 seconds to 3 minutes after drying. It's mostly just Tonka Bean + Ginger + Woody Vanilla + a fairly unique "green" note (fig leaf?) + undertones of black pepper so light that it's almost not there + an ethereal leatheriness encompassing the entire scent profile, not really a leather note though. The vanilla is very dry, and warm, just as it is in Angel's Share. The black pepper is really masked by the ginger. It just ends up pushing the ginger harder than ginger would push itself alone. You really can't smell it, it's only a helper to push the ginger. Everything is drowned in like 80% Tonka Beans, and that seems to be where all of the sweetness comes from. Much like any Mancera, it doesn't even TRY to be 1% natural. As mentioned earlier, unlike most Manceras, there's nothing harsh in the opening, it's weirdly smooth, and not just by Mancera's standards. It's less strong than the average Mancera, on par with if not a little less strong than tonka cola, that said, it still performs VERY well when compared to fragrances in general. At about $90 for a 4oz bottle, it's definitely worth it. Don't buy it for any more than a hundred bucks. It's probably one of the safer blind buys from Mancera, provided that you have prior experience with the house. That said, I can't recommend blind buying anything from Mancera, save Cedrat Boise.

I bought five 8-ml travel sprayers from Mancera, and Fig Extasy was the one I was most curious to try, having already sampled another fig fragrance by Mancera, Pearl, which is less woody and perhaps a smidge more femme. I find FE greener, cleaner, and fresher than Pearl, although it's probably a difference of degree not of kind. Like Pearl, Fig Extasy reminds me of walking into the Climatron, the geodesic-dome-style enormous greenhouse in Saint Louis, where I live--that vital humid green smell--although I'm sure it should more logically remind me of walking into the Mediterranean House, where there probably are some actual figs at various growth stages. To be honest, the only thing I don't like about Fig Extasy (I'm cool with the typical Montale/Mancera synthetic musks, for what it's worth) is the spelling of the second word in the name. What's wrong with Ecstasy? Is Montale one of those Elon Musk types who think the letter "x" is so much cooler than all the other letters? It's clearly not the French word, which would be Extase, nor the English word Ecstasy, so it's likely a spelling error that someone thought was clever. Well, here's a free tip for you, Mancera marketers: it's not. A scent this appealing deserves a name that doesn't sound like it was plagiarized from a convenience-store air freshener. Update: on the drydown, it's smokier, with a lovely incense accord over the woods and leather. I like this a lot, and I wonder if I lucked into an aged batch or something, since this is a travel vial. It's projecting about as far as I need it to, which isn't very, and the longevity seems above average, if perhaps not quite as nuclear as some of the other, muskier Montales and Manceras.

Sampling Mancera Fig Extasy, a 2021 release, fittingly fig-forward but with a very interesting multifaceted blend that is parts green, smoky, resinous, sweet, and spicy, featuring a robust note blend with standouts of fig milk, green fig, ginger, leather, black pepper, benzoin, vanilla and styrax. It’s an impressive confluence of varied accord, a lot to take in, and I feel that it is largely a successful experience and I’m delighted to smell it. It’s quite dense and the performance is strong, an interesting balance between a note that I generally experience as fresh, fig, and some of the darker elements that accompany it, the result being something hearty, experimental, yet also cozy. I think this is an easy one to recommend trying, on the basis of its uniqueness, performance, and affordability, as I could see the upside being high for many, though it’s artistic enough that I could imagine it being divisive, overall. I give it high marks for what I regard as a bold attempt and strong result. As with most of the brand, it’s EDP concentration with retail pricing of $200 for 120ml, sold in the US via the house website and boutiques like Olfactif (where I bought my sample) and Krystla Fragrance, among others, though it’s also fairly widely available via discounters, which is generally the case with Mancera and Montale fragrances. 8 out of 10

Named "Fig Exstasy," the fig note emerges fleetingly, taking a backseat as wood becomes the dominant character—a peculiar twist. Picture cutting the stems of a bouquet, that fresh, sappy, earthy aroma lingering alongside hints of lavender and wood. The lack of prominent fig, despite the name, doesn't particularly upset me; the fragrance, however, seems slightly misleading. It's something I'd still purchase to have in my collection. An hour in, I've decided to go for the full bottle. There's a seductive intoxication in the fresh green (fig leaf), leather, fig, and incense blend that I've grown fond of. I can imagine wearing this throughout the year, adjusting the sprays based on the seasons, given its sheer beauty. I'm drawn to scents that stand out, and this one achieves that without being overpowering. It's approachable, yet veiled in mystery, the type that would make me turn my head as the wearer passes, wondering who they are. After some time, the scent mellows slightly, revealing a sweetness from the berries and a blend of rose and musk, harmoniously combined but in a subtle manner. It reminds me of a sweet, feminine alter ego of Gentle Fluidity Silver by MFK.

Figgy, green sap and warm, smooth wood - underpinned by the chewy suppleness of leather. On me, the leather note is very mild - almost more texture than scent. Meanwhile the fig notes bring a watery-fresh sweetness that plays nicely against the soft, even-toned warmth of the wood and amber accords. Fig Extasy has a plush, comfortable vibe. It makes me wish I were a forest sprite with a cozy home inside the trunk of some great, broadleaved, deciduous tree. The home would be very quaint and pleasant, with lots of bookshelves and a bedroom nook, plus a little pantry full of preserves, and a kettle steaming on the hob. Fig Extasy is immediately reminiscent of Philosykos , and also, IMO, very similar to Matiere Premiere Parisian Musc , which is slightly more floral, and slightly less woody after the drydown. I find it only loosely similar to Italian Leather , which is much crisper, defined by its bright, vegetal tomato leaf and its more tannic leather.

Now this is something special. In a modern world full of sweet fruity fragrances and sticky gourmands, this slows everything down and gives you a breath of fresh air, quite literally, as I find the opening of this scent to smell like the first breath of fresh air you get in a damp forest after walking next to something smelly. Everything in this fragrance feels clean, even though it's got notes of leather and incense, they don't give off that dark feeling that they may give off in other fragrances. This fragrance is green, but it's not overwhelmingly green as other "green" fragrances that I've tried. After some time with this fragrance, a very light vanilla shines through, adding just a teeny bit of sweetness that smells invigorating. Mancera's Fig Extasy is something I would recommend to most, and I find that it's a relatively safe blind buy if you're looking for a fresh green fragrance with a little more than your average green fragrance.

This fragrance elevates every aspect of green perfumery. It’s a vivid blast of the natural parts of a fig tree — stems, leaves, fruit — and you can visualize each note thanks to the quality and photorealistic blend. It starts very green, with stems mixed into a minty freshness that evolves into a creamy fig fruit. It stays green throughout, then dries down into a smooth sweetness. Nothing here is too much. The balance is one of the most impressive characteristics of this perfume. There’s a subtle leather in the base, but it’s quiet — more resinous than animalic, adding depth without changing the green direction. There’s nothing here that resembles Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous. So, my opinion about it: It is a kind of perfume that you’ll keep smelling it, and you won’t leave it for anyone else. I had no idea how much I liked fig before it lol. Mancera once again proves they deliver top-tier quality at the best price on the market. 11/10.

The fig here is decent quality, almost photorealistic. Better than my frame of reference, a paradise garden. Green, leafy, fresh, and sweet fig with an undertone of spices and leather, which has a slight similarity to F*cking Fabulous, but the scent itself is quite different. It has a slight Middle Eastern vibe, which could be the spices blended with the leather. Masculine and earthy, but it can be worn by females. Performance is insane. Incredible scent that I can't wait to wear more of, so I can come to a final rating. Currently, it is in the 8–9/10 range, but we shall see. After buying a full bottle and wearing it, the leather note in this became repulsive to me. I literally couldn't wear it anymore. It would make my stomach turn. Sadly, this is another Mancera which has one note that for some reason my brain hates. I sold the bottle. Final rating 7.1/10

This is my second review, after having the bottle macerate for about 9 months. This baby needed time! There was a milky smoothness that I found somewhat unsettling and offputting for some reason, which was very dominant. But now, after almost a year in a dark cabinet this beauty has bloomed! The ginger and herbs have come forward, and now it sparkles! Their lightness and elegance balance out the milky note, making it dance around your skin. Now the milkiness gives it a warmth and cosy quality, while the herbs and spices make it pop. The leather and incense have come forward as well, albeit still being subtle, giving this otherwise very airy fragrance some body. This is now such a beautiful fragrance, delicate and transparent, with an addictive softness that keeps you sniffing. This went from a like to a love. Well worth the 9 month wait.

As someone on the hunt for some ‘not so big’ fragrances in popular niche houses - I can happily say this fragrance is class. I blind bought this for a very good price and loved the idea that there’s only a handful of reviews online about it. The fragrance itself - Absolutely love the top notes here. At first smell it’s evident of the milky fig, straight into a beautiful dry down almost like a sunscreeny smell to my nose at least. Leaves the skin with a nice clean, dry and mellow leather scent. With the humidity where I live at the moment, longevity wise I’m getting 6-8 hours on my skin with a moderate sillage (although my girlfriend says it’s too strong). Will have to see how longevity is as the weather cools down a bit and won’t sweat it off as soon as I step outside. 9/10 - simple yet so unique somehow, versatile and addicting scent.

It is what Boss Bottled Parfum could be if it were more wearable, bright, natural, and rich. I am not saying that BB Parfum is bad; it is just 'okay' once you compare it with this one. Still a masculine scent, but more wearable for all genders. I know that it is not a generic, mass-appealing, vanilla bomb or an easygoing, woody fragrance: it is more mature and classy, yet still modern. The fig here is more juicy, with more green leaves and fewer earthy stems like the Boss one. The performance is good, slightly above average for a Mancera fragrance, and for this green scent profile, it has solid longevity and projection. I love how it is photorealistic and pleasure! Fig Extasy is a niche fig fragrance elevated to a masterpiece. 10/10.

It starts its journey as a typical fig fragrance upon first spray. But I quickly realized that I was not going the typical route. There is a strong presence of incense that accompanies the fig, making this fragrance very sexy and this trip like no other. The sillage and projection stays strong throughout the journey. The drydown is where it gets even more interesting, as it makes a hard turn down a dark alley where a nearby leather factory burns and dumps its unusable straps. At the end of this alley, I arrive at my destination, a 3-way intersection at Fig Street, Leather Lane, and Fireplace Court. Not where I expected to go, but glad that I'm here.

I initially purchased the Mancera best sellers discovery set. When smelling those fragrances none of them stood out to me except this one. I instantly purchased a full bottle to add to my collection. The uniqueness of the fig scent mixed with lavender and wood leads to an instant confidence boost. When I wear this scent I imagine myself cruising on a yacht drinking a glass of champagne. I would say this scent is the epitome of luxury as far as spring and summer scents go. I would highly recommend this fragrance while it still flies under the radar.

On first test I’m not loving this.. the opening smells like pickles even if i wait a good 10 minutes. The lavender and thyme are powdery similar to Elisabeth Taylor Passion for men (a fragrance i love), but there’s something smooth/creamy in there that makes it more soapy. Unfortunately it turns into stale soap. I’m hoping I’ll like it better after a few wears (this happens often), and if that doesn’t work a few months I’d macerating might help, but at first impression it’s very meh. I don’t hate it, but i definitely don’t like it either.

This is a very friendly scent. If I could describe it in 3 words, I would say its tart, green, and earthy. Surprised people arent calling this a higher quality version of Cerruti Image. You can even see that many of the notes are shared between the two. If you want a summer scent that isnt aquatic, and like green and earthy notes, this would be a hit for you. I happen to be a fan of green scents, but I am aware that most of them arent that mass appealing, so this one accomplishes both the green vibe I like but with a friendly fig note.

I was very hesitant when i purchased this blindly due to my love for Fig. And boy. this made my day when i received it. I love it to core. This is my number 1 Mancera now in terms of scent and profile. I do not get any lactonic note. I just get a very fresh fig scent which is love at first sniff. Now i love this more than Aoud lemon mint and cedrat boise. some notes of Those scents are similar to most fragrances in market. but this one here is very very unique. UNIQUENESS = 10/10. VERSATILITY = 10/10. LONGEVITY IS YET TO BE TESTED.

Great Juice. Leafy green fig with smooth woods with slight sweetness from the vanilla and Tonka bean. The sillage is definitely average but the stuff lasts, on my skin at least. Sprayed it on in the evening around 8pm. Its still going strong 15 hours later. So strong I decided to not apply anything this morning. Perfectly unisex and could easily be worn in any season. It was -12c yesterday. This is so close to being a 10/10 masterpiece. if only the sillage was a bit better. highly recommend. One of my favourites from Mancera.

I got a sample of this and am totally up for the 120 ml. bottle of perfume exquisiteness. The dry down is surely sending me into the Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous stratosphere, sans the hefty price tag. Not a dupe at the opening, but surely and steadily reminiscing FF in the afterglow. A very well crafted composition, that I would wear all year round. The longevity is immense. You will get the maximum out of every dollar you've paid for this brilliant juice. Love. Love. Love. Excellency at it's highest point. Thank you, Mancera.

Fig Extasy comes off as quite a simple fragrance, and does not make a huge statement. But don’t let it fool you, it is complex and has incredible performance. You are embraced in a fluffy cloud of woody figgy bliss! I do get some leather and a touch of the sweetness at the end of its life, but it remains very uncomplicated. I was BEYOND disappointed when I tried this at first, I get it if you do too! But trust me, this will grow on you. Easy to layer, easy to love, easy to WEAR! Fantastic, simple, performing fragrance!

So I’m loving this fragrance, as I am a huge fan of TF F***king Fabulous. So is it a 1:1, no, is it close enough that I am happy to say I no longer need to buy the TF...... yes! I feel in my opinion that it’s a tad bit woodier, but not overwhelmingly so. The dry down is nicely close! I was going to get a travel size TF or the clone Fabulo Intense, however I feel that I have a quality fragrance that puts me in that space and I didn’t pay the premium price tag! This a Mancera fragrance that definitely commands attention!

This perfume showcases a delightful combination of dry sweet fig with green undertones, harmoniously blended with fig leaf. It features a creamy infusion of vanilla and Tonka bean, creating a syrupy sap sweetness. Complemented by a Benzoin base that imparts a resinous twist. It's an outstanding spring fragrance, radiating a refreshing and crisp ambiance. Similar to Tom Ford's F* Fabulous, I prefer it, considering it more budget-friendly while delivering exceptional performance and projection.

I got this as a sample, it’s not the type of perfume I’d normally go for but I thought I’d give it a try. I actually really like it! Opening is a blast of fig with a slight touch of ginger. After about 30 mins the leather and incense really show through. To me the dry down is very smoky and woody, with just a touch of fig to keep it unisex (although I’d still say it’s more masculine). Sillage and longevity are very good. Definitely more of an autumn/winter scent, nice one to have in rotation.

Fig Extasy Mancera: Initial scent is Fig Nectar, Leather, wood, that dries to a bit more vanilia and styrax. I really like it. I can see why some people compare it to Tom Ford Fucking Fabulos it does have a similar vibe. I think I like this one better and I don’t feel like it is trying to copy TFFF. It also reminds me of MiiM.MiiC #11 dupe, but it is way softer. I could see this one as my signature scent or some layered version. I score it 9 out of 10.

#932 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a really enjoyable fig and incense combination. After trying a sample of Spirit of Kings "Honor" I was planning on paying the painful $340 price, but this will do just fine for $85. It's definitely unisex, figgy, not sweet, and won't overpower anyone in any setting. Moderate performer. Makes it to lunch, but I'd reapply then. Nice date scent I think. I think a safe blind buy for most of us.

@nerolicannoli. If you truly have performance issues then I’d suggest you are either noseblind or have agenda. This lasts a very long time, projects well and for a long period . Lovely fig with greenery and dry nice leather and spice dry down. Great value for a superbly blended fragrance. I love ADP FIco di Amalii but it’s intimate, layer with this and it’s stunning. 10/10 all round. Best bang for buck niche scent I have

Fig-based fragrances are inherently weak performers, but being a Mancera this does better than most. Has a delicious sweet fig top with, some spice and vanilla in the dry down. I would put this over most other fig fragrances, but it is a little more synthetic than something like DS & Durga Debaser. The result is better performance and mass appeal. It is less synthetic than other Manceras.

With a name like fig extasy come on bro. This smells barely like fig and is more leathery and woody and even almond just like fucking fabulous. About 95% similar, I was hoping for a more fruity and sweeter scent. Still smells amazing but I wanted something different. Don't buy if you have fabulo intense or fucking fabulous.

Absolutely adore. Not a "gourmand" by any stretch but such a freaking YUMMY combination of velvety ripe fig, but not overly sweet thanks to the green and citrusy notes. Inviting and enveloping. Bit of a leathery drydown. My only complaint is it doesn't last very long, especially for Mancera.

This is amazing is quite similar to Diptyque's Philosykos. It's very intense, masculine, gorgeously green, very watery and realistic fig. I still think I prefer the the Diptyque's and Montale's versions of fig more, they are slightly sweeter and saltier.

Stunning and unique scent At first you get a blast of a juicy fig but as it dries down the same fig now becomes a green spicy fig leaf that is surrounded by woods and leather, the dry down smells like a creamy woody fig, very well blended

A more synthetic version of Tom Ford F****** Fabulous. I think Tom Ford blended their fragrance better and smells less synthetic but it’s not worth the price. This is a perfect substitute and lasts longer. I highly recommend 🔥

Love this one. This is number 7 mancera in my collection. But the dominant notes are Wood. I am unable to detect fig notes. Opening is quite 'hard' for me but i get compliment 9 out of 10 of my friends.

Devine, my favorite fig...which is one of my fave scents. I enjoy Father Figure as well...including the various dupes (Fine'ry, Miim:Miic), but nothing can touch Fig Extasy.

I see why this is compared to fabulous from tf. It is similar id say 75 percent. Good stuff and good performance. Very green as well.

Such a solid fig scent for fig lovers. Smells fruity and green. Strong projection and longevity.

I hope this is helpful to the someone thinking of buying Fig Extacy. So, this is my first Mancera purchase, but I have a lot of fig perfumes (Debaser, Philosykos, Premier Figuier, Nouvelle Vague, Dandelion Fig - you get it lol). This was not what I was expecting at all! I love it - I just don’t get anything green or exactly fig. There’s a sweet touch in the dry down that I want to say is the fig .... But other than that it dries down to a beautiful creamy sandalwood with a touch of cedar. For me, the opening is heavy peppery leather. It’s not .... Bad. It’s just in your face. I would definitely recommend try before you buy if you’re expecting a fig scent here (you know, with a name like Fig Extacy) but I also think it’s amazing, long lasting and smells different than anything else in my collection. ** Edit: I’ve sprayed this a few more times and I do get the figgy green opening - for whatever reason (chemistry etc) it lasts about 3 seconds on my skin. If I don’t make a point to spray and immediately sniff .... she gone! So I guess I’m getting all mid & base notes. Still think this is lovely. Still recommend try before you buy.

I had the possibility to try Fig Extasy in a Montale boutique in Milan, and I have to say, I am very much impressed. First of all, you got a semi-sweet note of fig at the beginning with a touch of green. It is not a sweet fragrance, but neither a fresh one. It is a well-rounded, versatile, and long-lasting all-year-round fragrance. In 1 to 2 hours the sweetness disappears and you are left with a very nice smell of the fig leaf itself. It reminds me of standing under a very big fig tree when I was a kid, and you would literally smell the aroma of the tree itself. Briefly, I would describe it as a green fruity fresh fragrance. The ginger, lavender, and benzoin in this, create the perfect balance of freshness and sweetness for any "fig" lover. This can be considered an improved and more refined version of Fico di Amalfi of Acqua di Parma. The duration of the fragrance is between 6-8 hours on my skin, and the sillage is just right. You won't be emptying a room but you will leave a nice smell of fig around you. It is worth its price for sure.

I love all kind of fig scents, so obviously the name "Fig Extasy" sparked my interest when a sample happened to fall into my hands. And I'm glad I got to test it: it's a good scent, and true to its name in a way... just not quite my kind of way, unfortunately. There's none of the juicy sweet fig fruit here, and just a glimpse of the delicious green sharpness of the leaves; instead of those notes that are always big hits with me, Fig Extasy focuses on woody notes, emphasized by subtle leather. This woody element is really nice, nutty and natural, and, yes, believable as fig wood. Not quite what I personally want from a perfume, but great nonetheless - it's generally just a very well-made fragrance, the kind that's balanced and obviously high quality. Finally, although there's definitely nothing "macho" about it, it is also slightly on the masculine side of unisex. So not for me, but that's alright: not everything has to be, and I like it anyway!

I had high expectations for this fragrance and was a bit let down. The fig and fruitiness are lacking, and the name is really miss-leading. However, this is a solid, woody, green, and manly fragrance. If you're not thinking about figs or fruit, this is a beautiful, strong, fresh wood. The opening was very green, like a fig leaf, with a hint of ginger. In the middle, I got a soapy smell that disappeared fast, but it was pleasant because that's where a lot of this clean vibe comes from. Now, after a few hours, all I smell is wood. The black pepper spice is strong, though it never fades, which I love. I don't get much sweetness, but it's definitely a warm, comforting manly sandlewood. I will try wearing this again in warmer weather to see how long it will last, but mancera never fails to produce long-lasting, strong scents that project like crazy. overall, an 8/10 fragrance lovely scent, but just a tad misleading.

I am not a fan of Mancera House but this one is an exception. It starts with fruity fig notes at the top. The top note of the fragrance is very fig-dominant and reminds me of many fig fragrances. But after a few minutes, other facets of the fragrance appear. It's a complex fragrance with depth. The spicy top notes of black pepper and incense are mixed very well with the fig accords, I like that combination. In the base, the fragrance is very woody. After about an hour, the fig notes are fading gradually, and the woody, spicy, and amber notes are more present. It's not similar to the Encelade but it gives you the vibe of that fragrance mixing with fig notes. If you like that, try this one as well. 7/10

I have recently acquired a bottle of the Fig Extasy fragrance by Mancera, a purchase driven by a delightful sale that proved irresistible. Upon the initial encounter, this scent reveals its unexpectedly sweet and luminous character. Styrax, benzoin, and vanilla take the lead, accompanied by the persistent essence of fig. The green facets of the fig are perceptible, yet they find equilibrium in the dulcet embrace of vanilla and benzoin. As the fragrance mellows into its dry down, it sheds some of its initial potency. Nonetheless, it lingers gracefully, with notes of fig, Tonka, and vanilla making a lasting impression in the air. A truly captivating olfactory experience, one might surmise.
