Fig Me Up

To call myself a fig fanatic is an understatement, so thinking about how I almost misjudged this scent is heartbreaking. I was really excited a while back when the launch was announced (AI ads aside), and then, once I smelt it in store I just got a wiff of artificial freshness that didn’t get close to what I was hoping for. THEN months later, one of my friends blind bought this fragrance and I got to try it on my skin, it opened my eyes. Fig me up is a juicy realistic fig that gets a deeper sweetness from the plum, long lasting, great sillage. This is the fig scent that represents the sweet and fragile fig that becomes undone all over your fingers as you bite into it. Reminds me of finishing work at 9pm in my little Spanish coastal town. All I looked forward to after every shift was eating purple figs on the beach with the summer breeze carressing my shoulders.

Very nice upfront. I get a lot of God Of Fire vibes in the opening with some mango which I was not expecting. Think GOF with Plum and’s fig. Definitely loud for the first 20-30 minutes. It’s very uplifting and fruity but not sickening sweet whatsoever. In the dry down it becomes much smoother, softer and completely transformed where the musk and sandalwood linger on throughout the remainder. Longevity is sub par on my skin. I get about 4-5 hrs in total which is unlike most of my Manceras. This is NOTHING like Fig Ecstasy, which is very earthy and Robust. I see myself wearing this more in the Spring and Summer than Fall and winter but it’s easily well rounded. More unisex than expected as well, but I’ll let it sit and do its magic like most of this line, give it 3 months and it’ll probably fries from good to great.

Fig Me Up completely caught me by surprise. This fragrance is incredibly smooth, effortlessly elegant, and refined without ever feeling too formal. It's the kind of scent you can wear every single day and still feel put together. The fig note is front and center, beautifully supported by a creamy sandalwood that gives it a soft, comforting finish. From the very first spray, this fragrance just made me happy. Mancera has done it again—another home run. This is easily one of my favorite additions to the collection.

This is beautiful!! Fig Me Up opens with a sweet, juicy fig and candied violet smell. I don't detect any oud. This is a linear fragrance IMO. There's a slight greenness to the fragrance, possibly from the fig leaf note. Other than that, it's a massive appealing sweet and fruity fig fragrance with a candied violet smell in the background, giving it a slight powderiness and making it lean slightly feminine. Really nice. Easy reach.

Blind smelling I can pick: - Definitely fig - Some sweet fruity sourness that gave me tingles in the chin, like mouthwatering (cherry or smth) - the stronger note so far - Some kind of fresh moss quality that feels almost piny - Creamy sweet tonka For me its the perfect fig fragrance, it gives you the sweet crisp dry fig note with juicy and sour fruits and a sweet creamy base.

This is very sexy indeed, it's fresh and airy, not too sweet, not too bitter, just perfect, I'm not lying, nor I want to give credit to a perfume thats going to make you upset due to the cuality and performance, is good , fresh and sexy, not your tipical freshie, you will stand out in the crowd.

Well, for me and my nose is a MUST. Not manly or feminine, in the right spot. Herbal, fruity, and a little touch of sourness-sweetness. Excellent sillage and long-lasting fragrance.

I love this. It's a bit fruity (not green and not sweet, kind of in the middle), a bit floral (the violet comes out on my skin), and a little woody (a smooth sandalwood).

This is good stuff. Tobacco, fig, oud and plum. Pretty good performance too. 8.5/10.

Sampling Mancera Fig Me Up, a 2025 release, a mixed sharp, sweet, floral blend that’s not so fig-intense but rather a blend of various elements, a sort of choral ensemble of notes that suggests its purple coloration a bit, with notes of violet and fig leaf blending with plum, geranium, tobacco, and musk. The opening is sharper and more floral, whereas the dry down feels more like a blended unisex tobacco scent. I think it’ s a nice option that does not immediately remind me of any other Mancera/Montale scents, but definitely has a general familiarity and 3-season wearability, being an interesting option except perhaps in extreme heat, in my opinion. I don’t feel that it is too loud or overbearing in any one area, and is not especially fig-heavy as its name might otherwise suggest, though the fig is certainly there, a great counterpoint to the violet in the opening. Fig Me Up is EDP concentration and has the standard brand pricing of $190/125 for 120/60ml, sold in the US via the house site, some department stores, and great boutiques like Ministry of Scent. Presumably it will be available on the secondary market at some point, as is generally the case with Mancera and Montale offerings. Overall, I like it, even if I’m not especially moved by it, but I’m thinking that this is one example of a fragrance that I need to wear a bit more, perhaps revisiting another time. Still, it’s very good and certainly worth sampling for fans of the brand and their many multifaceted offerings. 7 out of 10

In the shop I've smelled them on bloater and they were fun, energetic, spacious, light and I've decided to give them a try even though they are vastly different from my usual perfume profile. The next day I've been trying them out and I somehow smelled an absolutely different perfume from what I've bought. It felt dark, harsh, smoky and there were no light fruits. In dry down it was a pleasant woody tobacco fragrance. I was unsure about the results and today I'm wearing them again and they somehow smell more light again, fruity. I kinda like them today. Today the smell correlates with the perfume pyramid though I feel it more leaning towards sandalwood, figs, plums and tobacco. I might update the review in a few days but in general this perfume is not a blind buy unless you are 100% sure that you are familiar with such scent profiles. Update after using the whole tester: I definitely now like the perfume more and it works better in warmer weather without much wind and with some sun. Not sure that I'll be buying a bottle of it but I'm no longer as apprehensive about this idea as I was 2 weeks ago

This starts out green and fruity, with a brown sugar thing happening as well. The opening is quite nice, my favorite part of the fragrance, and it’s most unisex. As it dries down, you get more of that milky fig, and it turns powdery and starts to lean feminine. You get the sweet plum and the pickle-ish sandalwood, but It’s never unpleasant. The tobacco in the dry down is also excellent with the toffee/tonka sweetness. Sillage was ok, longevity pretty good, maybe 7 hours before you had to put ky nose to skin to find it. Over all, I like it, but it’s not for me. To my nose, this is more what I wanted fig extasy to be based on the name. Great for cooler weather, non-offensive, could be worn in the office without gassing anyone out.

I purchased this from a site in Belgium that ships to the US. For reference, I own Diptyque Philosykos, Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi, Ferrari Noble Fig, Sean John 3 AM, and D.S. & Durga Debaser. Compared to those, this one opens much more in what I would describe as a typical, sweet, mass-pleasing women's perfume profile, then dries down to a slightly woody scent where I can pick out the fig more easily (more fiq leaf/sap in the vein of Philosykos), though it is there in the opening, too. Therefore, I would classify this is unisex leaning feminine. It does smell like a very carefree and happy scent somehow. Definitely seems like a warmer weather scent. Will keep it for now, and see how it grows on me.

I've been wanting to try this scent since it's release. Finally, I got a sample. It's not the figg fragrance I was looking for. The figg stood out for mere seconds before falling back and blending in with everything else. It's not a figg forward fragrance. It's fruity. It smells very good in a fresh, fruity, way and while it's a unisex fragrance I struggled back and forth as to whether it's firmly unisex or with a feminine lean. Every time I thought I figured it out I'd second guess it and for that reason I'm going with it's a feminine leaning fragrance.

With tobacco, oud, and violet listed in the notes, I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised, but to me this is super heavy and borders on cloying. Still, I enjoyed the first hour or so until it turned into a powder bomb. I guess I was hoping for something more uplifting, with sharper rhubarb and plum notes. It lasted only 2–3 hours on my skin.

This is a wonderful, unique fragrance. This isn’t leaning gourmand as I expected, but it’s a beautiful aromatic fig scent. The fig starts out slightly green and settles sweet/spicy on the skin with some depth from the tobacco. A slightly dark and sexy take on fig. It leans a bit masculine in my opinion.

Another hit from Mancera there is great smell of apple and pineapple on the top with some nice brown sugar topped with a hint of marshmallow in the middle drying down to the cookie wiffs with some rum and ambroxan. Wonderful scent

Oh this is delicious! Not exactly fig, not a sweet gourmand but very interesting mix of fruity and aromatic notes. Very uplifting, joyful, fun! Mood enhancing fragrance. Leans feminine but unisex. Moderate projection.

Clean and creamy fig. could be slightly overwhelming on hot summer days but its still wearable on summer evenings/nights. Would fit on both elegant or casual outfits.

Green tobacco fig fragrance with some sweetness. Not a safe blind buy. Very unique.

The opening is a rush—a sleek plum-purple coupe accelerating along a coastal highway, glistening curves reflecting constellations. A plum note, lush and juicy, melts into the deep green of fig leaves, their shadows fluttering like silk scarves caught in the wind. There is something almost impossible here, as if the car were driving both forward and backward in time, trailing the scent of orchards and the faint sweetness of memories. Then, the violet arrives—a whisper of violet leather gloves, delicate yet firm, gripping the steering wheel. It is the cool breath of night, an indigo softness that blurs the line between floral and suede. The fragrance wears like a tailored jacket, supple and close, stitched from dreams and desire. As the drive deepens into the night, the scent slows into a luxurious glide: supple leather, warmed by skin; figs now honeyed, their green edge mellowed into golden sweetness. The plum remains, but softer now, as if ripened by starlight, while the Mediterranean wind carries whispers of violet and salt, wrapping the wearer in a private, fragrant cocoon.

A fairly weighty scent with a fruity fig. The plum dominates right off the bat. Most of the other notes remain totally in the background. After a short while the geranium shines through a bit, later on also the oud makes an appearance and finally also the sandalwood appears subtly. Over time the scent balances out nicely. Still, in my opinion this is more of an evening scent, female-leaning, and in comparison to many other fig scents this is not green or fresh but rather heavy.

Sweet opening, with the milky jammy fig and rhubarb notes being prominent but it doesn't last long for me and it transforms into something like a lingering synthetic woody sweetness with a prominent tonka of the drydown that really reminds me of Hero EDP. Disappointed, but maybe it seems to dry down like crazy on my skin?

Fig with a masculine shaving-foam vibe, yet balanced by fruity and berry-like feminine sweetness. A unisex fragrance that leans slightly towards the masculine side despite its sweetness. The scent, based on its notes pyramid, promises a richer experience than it delivers in reality.

It's unique fresh scent (figy-plum) but has a weak to mid performance, unnecessary dry down i think. It's getting spicier with time. If you don't overspray, I don't think anyone will notice after 1.5 hours. (Inmite i mean) it's not good a stuff.

Initially smells like something my mom would have worn, slowly creeps towards unisex. Not for me but not bad, just ok.

this smells very powdery and dry on my skin. i pick up on a weak fig note, but then i mostly get musk and oud with a hint of florals, possibly geranium. it’s not the worst scent in the world, but it’s a bomb. those who are prone to migraines, beware. update: smells lovely on my partner, so maybe i'm the problem.

Not a fan. Leans a bit feminine for my tastes, feels almost juvenile. Was really hoping the plum note would stick out more. It’s fruity-sweet, performance isn’t crazy. At it's best, the fig and fruit notes come across as bright, crisp and refreshing. At it's worst, it is sickly sweet and odd.

I don’t smell anything resembling fig nor any fruit. This is super powdery. So weird based on the title and description.

Every time I spray this one I smell leather which is not listed in the notes just so weird.

This is Horrible!! So dissapointed as a fig perfume connoisseur this if i had to describe it is what being nauseous smells like it has this nasty creaminess to it that is so off putting! The oud, rhubarb, and geranium are so unnecessary i sosososo hate this and the fig is so not present like the opening is very grean i guess thats tha fig and thats it

Horrifying. The notes and the visuals of this were so enticing, but it practically made me sick. Suffocating. I don't know if it's the violet and geranium? When I read others' experiences, I can't relate in any way.

God, this is fucking beautiful... It hits that sweet spot of being perfectly unisex but if you’re a guy, I’d say it suits someone no older than 35. It starts fresh / herbal then the fruits kick in very refreshing and mouthwatering. I regret not getting a full bottle of this as it was a blind buy. The sweetness and fruitiness are blended smoothly. It’s not cloying, synthetic sweetness that gives you a headache. There’s a gentle tartness from the rhubarb that balances the sweetness, then as it fully dries, the tobacco and musk kick in and wrap it in this subtle masculine edge. Never overpowering just very well rounded. I only own Cedrat Boise and Instant Crush, but this? This one just made me want to dig deeper into Mancera’s lineup. The recent releases in the community have been feeling dull and uninspired lately, but Fig Me Up has given me hope.

Oh wow I havent enjoyed a sweet fig fragrance like this since Debaser. The plum and floral notes mixing with the fig leaf and rhubarb give this a sort of green candied zing, but not at all too sweet or cloying. If youve smelled Fig Extacy, this is nothing like that. For now Im labeling this as fun and interesting and will update this post when I get a better idea of the drydown. So far really loving it, but still on the fence about whether or not it’s ‘me’. EDIT: Alrighty I know exactly why I like it. This feels like the happier, innocent version of Argos’ Sacred Flame. While FMU feels like a light, fruity fragrance with sharpness from the green notes, Sacred Flame feels like the louder, spicier older brother. If youve smelled and loved one, you’ll love the other. HOWEVER, I probably wouldnt suggest having both as they feel redundant.

Really fire. Mancera is getting better, this is definitely not the work of previous perfumers. It’s not very figgy, you only get figs for a few minutes and then they go to the background. A shaving foam note starts to appear with a fruitiness of maybe the plum. There’s a remote woodiness in the base. Will hunt for a bottle when prices go down but this smells better than 70% of the hyped fragrances these days. It’s not the same exactly but if you like initio Paragon you’re gonna love this but this one is a bit more feminine. I can now see the inspiration for this.

Believe the reviews that this will not be for everyone. I find the opening leaning fem until the slightest mancera oud comes in after about 20 minutes. It's a great blend and unfolded nicely. After about an hour top notes are almost gone, and the tobacco becomes the main player for the base notes. This was the sum of fig (25%), plum (25%), and tobacco (50%) for the rest of the wear. It's a good frag if you're looking for transitional wear, but I wouldn't get much burn from this. Sample worthy, but definitely sample first.

I hope this offers the full scent of the fruit and the tree itself... aromatic green and sweet fruity? Yes maybe... hopefully And we all know that all the votes at this point are childish and fake! 👎

People are voting without ever smelling the perfume. Ok. But how do we know the notes? The perfume is not on the official site and on the Mancera ig page nothing was leaked.

It’s uncanny how much this closely resembles Goldfield and Banks Mystic Bliss. Sprayed both on separate wrists and can’t really tell them apart. Both are awesome though.

I don’t know about the voting of a Mancera fragrance being weak. I can’t wait to sample of this one. I do agree those notes sound very interesting.
