Hindu Kush

Wow this is gorgeous! I love it! This one leans more masculine imo, more so than Red Tobacco to my nose. Red tobacco had more warmth and sweetness than Hindu Kush, which makes easier to wear as a woman. They both share a grassy note, which is a bit more wet and muddy in Red Tobacco, and a bit more dried and hay like in Hindu Kush. Looking at the notes in both I think it’s actually the green Apple in RT that I pick up as grassy , as I have the same with the green apple in Light Blue intense. The grassy note in Hindu Kush is probably the cannabis, as it’s more herbal and dried/hay like. Funny how the nose and brain work. To me the cannabis note does not overwhelmingly smell like weed, there’s a resemblance, but my first association is not with weed. I do agree with Ariodante_invictus that the opening smells like dried field grass. There’s herbs in there, maybe some wild flowers. It’s definitely not plain hay. It’s more green and fresh. There’s a huge blast of spices too, definitely cloves and cinnamon, perhaps some black pepper. There’s little to no sweetness. Whatever sweetness the cinnamon, incense and vanilla provide, it serve more to soften than to sweeten. It is classed as an Amber woody fragrance, but I would personally describe it as more of a fougère. The amber is barely there, and it has a strong herbal foresty vibe going on. It’s quite smooth and leans a bit blue for an overall green, herbal scent. Which is the reason I feel It’s a bit too masculine for me too wear. Even though I enjoy wearing men’s fragrances, I have found that blue fragrances are the category that’s hardest to wear as a woman. And this fragrance has exactly that quality. I think it might be something in the combination of amber, patchouli with aromatic and somewhat wet green notes.. regardless of what it is, this fragrance makes me feel like I’m wearing aftershave, there’s this specific type of smoothness that reminds me of freshly shaved chins. I think a lot of old fashioned after shaves have that same blue, clean smoothness. which is just a bit too much man for me. The musk also gives it a hint of armpit smell (which I adore in warm fragrances), which combined with the freshness of this, makes me think of men deodorant, not because it actually smells like that (is much More classy and beautiful), but because it seems out of place on my female skin. All in all I think I will give this to my brother. I’m sure it’ll smell much better on him. Despite how this may sound, this fragrance doesn’t smell cheap at all. In fact It smells very elegant. It’s a pretty natural smell. There’s something slightly synthetic, but it’s not as present as it is in some other mancera/montale fragrances. It’s a fresh smell, but warm and spicy at the same time. The dried grass and herbs quality in this makes me lean towards fall as the best season especially with the spices in it and sometimes I smell wet leaves.. However the freshness is reminiscent of spring and even summer. Sometimes it smells like freshly cut grass too. I believe this can be worn year round safely. It’s not a safe blind buy imo. Definitely not for women. I assume it’s somewhat safer for men. You have to be into aromatic, fougere and blue scents though, and as this is such a complex and constantly changing fragrance, I strongly recommend testing it first, not once, but a few times as I also think this is the type of fragrance that requires a few wears to truly understand it.

Six years after the commencement of Viktor&Rolf's lauded Spicebomb franchise, Mancera ascended to the challenge. In the Dune universe wars would be fought over the spice that is Hindu Kush. Supremely indulgent, it exclaims its wearer is the youthful heir to an empire with prowess and powers of seduction beyond compare. Oh, and there is also absolutely zero cannabis on this spice world. Let me explain... Hindu Kush is an ornate box full to the brim with authentic incense sticks that were hand rolled in a mountainous Indian village. Composed from a combination of locally harvested spices and expertly crafted perfume oil, the incense will soon be reached for, a stick will be lit and carefully placed to smolder, the smoke will drift into a ray of sunshine, illuminated as it melds with the vapors of cannabis freshly exhaled by two lovers. A sitar is expertly plucked in the distance. Hindu Kush is an element of this scene - the box full of incense - but it is not the entire scene. The spice of Mancera's Hindu Kush belongs in two extreme climates: the raging desert heat of Arrakis, where such a muscular fragrance will endure a summer's onslaught, or the frigid cold of a Siberian winter where the magic stays close enough to not inadvertently leap out and cast a love spell upon every passerby. Absolutely not office safe if sprayed on the skin just before leaving for work. Only acceptable if sprayed on fabric the night before so it has time to settle. As I sit here writing this review I can almost taste it. Monumental radiating projection, sillage, and longevity. Hindu Kush can be found on sale through various spice smugglers for below $90 on occasion. Be daring: at that price the generous 120 milliliters is a definite and immediate blind buy.

Wearing it right now and unique is definitely the right word. Firstly, right at initial spray is the only time I smell cannabis, but it’s strong and definitely cannabis for about a minute, combined with a baby wipe alcohol scent. And honestly for the first minute I was scared I wasted my money, but immediately the sweetness and woodiness came in, and it stays for a long time. The incense, spices, and patchouli come in as the green from the cannabis leaves, and it honestly turns pretty fruity, mixed with a very dry, powdery wood, and some spice. I was surprised when there wasn’t mandarin or bergamot notes. Cause it stays pretty bright refreshing and fruity for a while It just continues to develop so smoothly and nicely for the whole life of the scent, as the green and fruity feel fades, it just gets more woody, sweet, and spicy. And towards the end (8-10 hours later) it’s a nice woody, alluring skin scent. On clothes it lasts days and comes off a lot more sweet and woody than on skin. Overall it’s amazing and unique, but absolutely an acquired taste, if you don’t like powdery, or intense then don’t go for it. Projecrion and longevity are great. Only drawdowns are how harsh it is at the very beginning, and sometimes in the first hour it can smell like grandma or grandpas house when the powder, spice, and patchouli all combine. Other than that I LOVE this fragrance, definitely get a sample and see for yourself. 9/10

An incredible offering from this perfumer, somewhat unique among their fragrance line but also has that "dense" Mancera footprint. Warning that this has a Mancera opening, meaning you need to give it anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes to settle into its true opening. I also suspect that this one will macerate in the bottle over time much like Red Tabacco did for me as it was largely absent from the sample of Hindu Kush I bought before purchasing the full bottle. Opens with dried field grass (not hay) and a strong medicinal note from the spices, incense and cannabis but manages to sit light in the air due to the overall dry heat of the accords. Not overly sweet but with a lovely floral accent to soften the other openers. The dry down of Hindu Kush is sublime, dominated by Patchouli and woody notes with a leftover hind of floral and green from the opening and a mild, rising sweetness from the base. The fragrance has a solid end, loosing the floral but somewhat retaining the patchouli and even a lingering green spice as it settles into a wonderful woody, musky, vanillic lullaby. This fragrance is very difficult to pin down seasonally. The notes seem to skew cool to cold but there's a dry heat to the total composition that lends itself to summer as well. You could technically wear this all seasons, though it may skew daytime over evening wear. Would suggest sampling first over a blind buy.

Ive been hesitant to try this due to the cannabis note. But people told me its not what i would think. Its opening is a sweet green, incensey smell. The cannabis is not "pothead/marijuana." Its a very sweet herbal note. As it dries down, patchouli is VERY prominent. A very earthy soil dirt scent with the cannabis and spices. It smells VERY organic and natural. It would be like lighting a stick of incense in a forest. The patchouli is the main note to my nose, so if you are not a fan of patchouli, stay away from this one. I cannot smell the vanilla or white musk. Once it dries down, it stays a very warm wood meets moist earth smell with a sweet smoky vibe playing in the background. Hours in it settles into a calm sweet spicy green ans earth accord. This is definitely a unique scent! I want to say I love it, but I find it so strange. I dont dislike it at all. I just havent smelt anything like it. Ive even dpuble checked with others to see if I smell like marijuana and they all say no 😆 Great sillage and longevity as many have noted. The patchouli makes this quite masculine. Spring and summer is where Id feel this fits the best. Fall as well. I feel winter it would feel out of place for me personally. Its a popular one by Mancera and definitely unique. Im still trying to decide if I like it or love it and if I want a bottle.

I'm still not entirely sure how much I enjoy this fragrance. Like other mancera fragrances the opening is not the greatest but once it dries down it becomes very nice. After a few wears I've realised that less is definitely more as if you overspray you get this vegetable scent. The dry down is fresh and slightly sweet and is actually a gorgeous scent once dried. However the issue I have is you need to wait 45mins before the fragrance starts to shine. It is unlike any other fragrance in my collection and can be a bit challenging to wear considering I have other scents I would wear over this one. Despite this my wife has complimented this fragrance several times whilst it's dried down so I do think it will garner lots of positive attention from women so if that's important to you then maybe it's worth a punt. Performance like other manceras i've tried is beastly which helps as once the fragrance has settled on skin it lasts easily 8hrs+ and leaves a gorgeous scent trail which is why I think this goes down well with the ladies. I would definitely recommend you sample this fragrance before you buy a bottle as its not gonna be for everyone mainly due to the questionable opening but if you have the patience to allow to dry down to shine you have a solid fragrance that a lot of people will love.

Sampled this...loved it...purchased a full bottle...now I'm not so sure :-/ To my nose, it is relatively easy to identify the emerging fragrance notes. HK opens with a very fizzy, green-herbal, aromatic note that I'm certain is the cannabis and labdanum accords. A definite, initial "spice" push is absolutely present upon application. Seems like the full bottle fragrance (versus the sample I received) remains "greener" and "woodier" than I recall. With time, other notes emerge balancing the herbal, medicinal initial opening notes. However, I fail to detect much vanilla, musk, patchouly, or amber, etc. And IF patchouly is present, I would say it is the fresher, greener type patchouli. The fragrance wears much "cooler" than I originally noted. Doesn't envelope me in a warm and caressing way, as I hope for with fragrances. And I have a difficult time detecting anything that resembles incense, or smoke. And unlike my recollection with the sample, I feel the fragrance is VERY masculine leaning. I'll give it some time and see if my impressions change... ETA: So, after MANY hours pass (several hours after initially writing this review), HK lands as a soft, gentle, fragrant, ethereal, patchouly-amber-musk-wood fragrance. Now I recall why I initially fell in love with the fragrance!

Scent: 9/10 - I really like sweet powdery scents that aren't overwhelmingly sweet or powdery. Only reason it's not a 10 is because it isn't super interesting for me since I couldn't smell pretty much any of the head or middle notes. But it's unique and pleasant for me. I found this scent to be powdery and kinda girly? Like it felt like a very light, happy, and sweet powder IDK. Most of the listed head notes I could not smell at all, I could only really smell the base notes of Vanilla pods, Guaiac wood, and vanilla pods. Strength: 7/10 - it was strong enough at a close distance, but not strong at all from more than an arms length which is good because some people don't like powder smells. Projection: 6/10 - about an arms length away for the first few hours, Longevity: 10/10 - literally lasts the whole day and to me it was consistent smell for the whole day. Sillage: 8/10 - I could still smell it on clothes I had worn when I sprayed it AND on clothes I had changed into after about an hour of wearing it (so wasn't sprayed directly on those clothes). I also could smell hints of it in my room after about an hour. Not a higher rating because the scent footprint wasn't as strong in rooms I didn't spend a lot of time in, but was still there.

I have been an advanced indoor cannabis cultivator for over 15 years. An actual grower with a purpose built facility... not some goofy closet grow. I’ve bred several strains, bought MANY different cultivars over the years, and have germinated over 700 seeds in my lifetime (cloned tens of thousands). I mention that because... I KNOW the smell of cannabis. And this? This is not it. But boy does this fragrance smell amazing. It’s definitely not for everybody. I cannot see the younger generation wearing this and I cannot see women pulling this off (for the unisex crowd). But I do genuinely love this fragrance. That initial spray is very unique and “green.” If there is any resemblance to cannabis, it’ll only be that initial spray. But shortly thereafter, that incense takes over. Making it smell like a more restrained version Interlude by Amouage. Followed by a girthy dollop of tobacco. This fragrance reminds me of interlude, red tobacco, and wind wood mixed in one. I believe this may be Mancera tops 3 fragrances. However... it is NOT a safe blind buy. If you’re looking for a mass appealing fragrance, this won’t be it. If you do like unique fragrances, this would be a safe choice. It smells so damn good. I’d rate it an 8.8/10

I approached Hindu Kush with caution ... a drug-referencing missive from our Palmer Eldritch of perfumery, Pierre Montale, who returned from the East in the early 2000's with the mystical "oud" and proceeded to found his brand of powerful, often beautiful scents. However, as his catalogue spirals into inanity - equivalent scents reappearing under multiple guises, a sister brand all-but-indistinguishable in purpose, perfume names so absurdly misleading they take on the quality of zen koans - web searches reveal the man's identity disintegrating, as though he never existed at all ... And so I try this, his notoriously powerful, druggy scent, perhaps at no small risk to my sanity. And the result is ... well rather anti-climactic actually. This is an appealing, sweet, designer-y scent. I find it super attractive and easy to wear. Is there a cannabis note? Lol no, unless your only experience of cannabis was a bubblegum-flavoured vape pen. But despite the initial bathos, out of the dozen-or-so Mancera's I've tried this is the one I find the most basically appealing, just a nice sweet ambery bubblegum & incense I'll happily wear all the time.

I feel this Frag gets a lil too much hate vibes online....????Not sure if it's the "weed" associated name and expectations of the "cannabis" vibes which it doesn't project or push through really any apart from a greenish vibe which I do get .I think it's actually a bit of hidden gem really and most strange fragrance Ive ever owned in a weird unique way ,as it's not a scent people ever recognise ,plus you can wear anytime /anywhere but it's all the questions I get....Ive never had a fragrance trigger so much interest in asking what am I wearing??? with intriguing questions and not negative all positive just mixed opinions of the scent from person to person but one thing common is it gets people confused I laugh and give them the name & apparent cannabis note vibe and people still keep thinking about (Im not talking handful of people but seriously pretty much everytime I wear)...usually unable to put the finger on "exactly" what the notes that they feel are which I ask (most more claim "fruit" vibes)=people are puzzled or just straight up complements from it which I have had perhaps more than some Mancera "Bangers" I own.

This stuff is definitely its own little thing. Gave it a good wearing today, and it did not disappoint. Great sillage, great projection, and great longevity. Got a couple of compliments off the rip with it. It starts off, like most Mancera fragrances, a slight mess of things happening... I get a good sharpness of something a little feminine, but it quickly is overridden by a sweet incense with a very musky amber vibe. I do also get a bit of the vanilla note. As for it smelling of cannabis. Lol. I am an all day every day type of guy with cannabis. That said, it doesn't have that sort of smell to it at all. Maybe as others have said, there's a little of something "green" in there, but it doesn't smell like weed. Lol. If anything, they took weed and made it smell 100000% more pleasant if that's what this is. Happy with this... Like everything I've bought lately, it was a blind buy, and I would say, for most, I wouldn't blind buy it, but I had a pretty good inkling I would like it, and I do! I would imagine it not handling a really hot summer day, but to me, its an all season, day or night vibe. 10/10!

This is ALOT softer smelling than people are making it out to be. It’s a warm, powdery amber fragrance with some green notes from the cannabis leaf (not bud) and a little smoky from the incense. It smells like how Lenny Kravitz and Lakeith Stanfield look or a hygienic hippie woman in the 70s. Clean and fresh but in an outdoorsy way. I sprayed this on around noon as well as Cedrat Boise and both are still going strong at 12 am. When I say this is a soft fragrance the longevity and projection are an exception for sure. Im getting whiffs of it as I type it with a spray and a half on my wrist. The mention of an incense used to hide the smell of weed is an accurate description there’s a sweet, almost creaminess to this scent that reminds me of those incense you’d find in a convenience store (in a good way). Could be worn all year in my opinion if you pay attention to the temperature and adjust sprays accordingly. It may not be the best in high heat but a summers night would be amazing. I would rate this an 8/10 but it could change once I actually give it a full wear

I blind bought this one after spotting it online for an extremely good price, I couldn't resist. I was a little nervous waiting for it to arrive, especially after reading and watching mixed reviews, but to my surprise, the initial spray brought instant relief. To me, it comes across as a spicy, herbal, woody fragrance with a touch of sweetness in the dry down. There's plenty of amber, a subtle reminder of the amber similar to Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée. It's a crowd pleaser, both my wife and daughter said they liked it, and they’re usually tough critics of my purchases. As for the cannabis note, think of it more like the scent of hemp seed oil. It adds an earthy, herbal quality that complements the overall composition. Projection is good, above average, and the performance lasts a very long time on clothes. I’d say it’s office-safe, inoffensive, and offers something unique compared to typical designer releases, right up my alley. I find it to be unisex. This is probably my favourite blind buy to date. 9/10.

2 fragrances...Terre d'Hermes edt and this one (Hindu Kush). Out of the hundreds i own and have smelled, neither of these top any of my lists for me personally. I feel like wearing them sometimes, but TdH is too dry and austere for me usually and Hindu Kush is too damn sweet. So where am i going with this? These two fragrances garner more unsolicited compliments than practically every other fragrance i own combined. Especially the HK. It is what it is, they were made to smell good. I think i reviewed this previously but if not maybe ill do one up. P.s. This actually could be a contender on my list of strongest fragrances ive ever experienced on second thought. 2 sprays and it will not go away until you next bathe. Even if youre sweating like crazy or its super hot out. I think the "cannabis" note is just what they're calling the sweet incense accord in it, but im very familiar with that smell both fresh and whilst being consumed, and i dont think it really smells like that at all lol.

As a long time fan and collector of Gucci Intense Oud & Black Afgano which are agreeably within the same scent profile of Hindu Kush - I can confidently say that Hindu Kush is the most unique and wearable of the trio. Gucci Intense oud for me could sometimes get personally overwhelming and boring whilst black afgano May sometimes be excessive to those around because of its large potency. However Hindu Kush is the most realistic cannabis offering for every day where and as a daily signature fragrance. It’s not so serious like black afgano but surprisingly performs just as good. Superb longevity, projection and spillage. As for the notes it’s a predominantly Banana, leafy, smoky and spicy fragrance. I totally get the incense notes but struggle for the cannabis but I know it’s there, it’s the similarity between this and black afgano. This is a sweet, woody fragrance. Not overwhelming. Don’t blind buy but it’s performance and quantity is well worth it’s fair price.

AMAZING! When wearing a sample of this „nectar of the Gods“. Love at first sniff! I felt transported into another time (and world). The Middle East Souk, or 1970s rock concert surrounded by hippies, or being in a deep dark head shop. Delicious incense notes combined with green, spicy (clove), amber, animalic, sweet vanilla and a touches of powder and earthiness. Sweetness decreases on dry down, and is replaced with a woody, amber, greenness. Dry down is a bit sharp, less „churchy“ (sweet incense notes). I don‘t pick up any distinct cannabis notes at all. Incredible projection and sillage. A little dab will do ya! It lasts just about forever. Make no mistake...This fragrance is heavy, intoxicating, and insanely sexy. A selection for experienced noses. Purchased a sample, and absolutely investing in a full bottle of EDP. This will be my in my winter fragrance collection.

I have had it over 1.5 years now and I have barely managed to get it half way through ! It is a rather peculiar fragrance, extremely earthy and green. Opens up with a cough syrup like sweetness filled with extreme moss green notes which I believe is the cannabis and dries down to a woody scent. The performance is highly nuclear, I sprayed it 5 times 3 on skin and 2 on clothes and went to my class. My friend pulled me away and asked me what was I wearing as the entire classroom smelled like that however, I couldn't notice due to the nose fatigue this causes. Not worth Blind Buying this. I really enjoyed this in the peak winter time during snowfall, those are the only days where this perfume shines the best and smells airy, high quality incense-green-woody. I am glad I got it for cheap or else I would've wasted 100+ quids on this.

Greatest fragrance of all time. It genuinely smells good but very unique. The dry down is completely different from the way it smells for the first 3-4 hours, and it lasts for DAYS on fabric. It starts off spicy/herbal and sweet. There might be a little oudy-woodiness in there too. A bit of wood incense in there. Then it dries down completely different, fresh and sweet in a green kind of way. The dry down smell is addictive, it's the most unique scent. The dry down is the main character, the opening lasts 3-4 hours, but the fresh green sweet dry down lasts for days. If you spray your chest, your t-shirt will have this scent for 3 days. It kind of has a cannabis scent in the opening, but not really. It's so blended into the warm spices and sweet pepperiness that you don't think someone just hit the bong. No skunkiness.

Mancera!!! One of the best brands in perfume line, after Red Tobbaco, Hindu Kush is the best in line anyone saying mancera is a bad brand they are either nose blind or have not used luxury perfume mancera sure beats a lot of top brands when it comes to smell, projection and longevity. Mancera Hindu Kush is a masculine perfume, it opens up with a blast of spices while you are enjoying it as you are in a field of cannabis with breeze of incense smoke surrounding it, it takes you being lost in your dreams of light cold lush green hills man i love that feelings. Its a strong perfume in a fantastic fresh way with great longevity and head turner sillage, imagine you passby someone and that person smells the freshness and keeps looking at you until you dissappear. One of my favorite perfume I Love It

I just got a little sample of this, since I was interested by the notes and OH MY GOD, is it amazing! It leans slightly masculine, but surely not something that couldn't be "tweaked" a little by layering with something else. I layered this with Chloe Nomade Absolu and it is INSANE how good they go together! The fragrance itself is very, very well blended and balanced, on my skin I don't get anything bad smelling like rubber or fish, like someone had mentioned. I get this evocative earthy, herbaly, incensy, vanillic smooth wonder that just keeps on giving on my skin. Btw, I put it on a freshly moisturized skin with a coconut oil with Tiare flower aroma and it makes most fragrances DIVINE! I'd love to own a bottle or a decant of this, I think this might be one of my favorite Mancera fragrances!

I'm a 56 yo F. I bought this with Sebastian The perfume guy, in mind. I love a lot of fragrances that he does. In saying that, the cannibis note scared me so I didn't blind buy it. Once I tried this on skin, I didn't smell weed, I just smell the incensey patchouli and green tropical mountains. I bought this in Thailand as my holiday souvenir and I think it fits. It's a big like for me, not a love yet, but I think we could get there. I believe I will layer this with something a little sweet and musky to give it more of a "me" smell as we are getting to know each other. Overall, it really is a beautiful earthy fragrance, unisex. I would wear it 3 seasons in Aust, not high summer but maybe summer nights. 8/10

Wow, I like this so much. I blind bought it when I found it for a great price, and I’m glad I did. I thought I’d like it based on the notes/reviews, but it’s better than expected. To my nose, I get similarities to Sloth by Zoologist. It’s less damp and earthy, and more herbal, but still a similar vibe to me. I don’t really get any cannabis, but it has a dank, dirty greenness, and just a slight hint of smoke. It’s a bit weird, not a mass appealing or designer-esque scent. I’m not sure how typical this is of Mancera, the others I’ve smelled definitely lean more towards mass appealing. Longevity is pretty good, but projection/strength is about average... I have to get up close to really smell it on me.

Old school weed leaf, pre-skunk pre-hydro. If you know what that means, you'll get it. Way back in the 80's if you got very dry weed without the head, with pretty much just outdoor grown leaf, this is the cannabis note in this mix. Don't expect resinous head smell, it's not that at all. Took me aback when I first smelled it, but it grew on me to the point where I love it. Has some great punch and is surprisingly versatile and unique with this profile. Obviously the cannabis is not the only note, but it plays a part amongst the other notes, like patchouli and subtle woods. Definitely not blind buy for most, but I would never get rid of my bottle. BTW, it's got insane staying power and projection.

I love this scent - it's definitely in my top 10 or even 5. I know it's an amber fragrance but I think if it more like a fougere - it smells very green to me. Not really like weed green but like growing plants. I love how unisex it is - I like a lot of 'masculine' leaning scents and this is one of them. I really don't get the vanilla or sweetness that many reviews here discuss. I definitely get the patchouli and spices - but to me this will always be a green fragrance. Not a sharp green more softer and spicier. I frankly think this is one banging scent. Gorgeously blended Long lasting Unusual Totally signature scent worthy! And yes you could wear this to work! 10/10

The categories/note profiles pictured here (red, brown, grey) is NOT what I am smelling! On paper it seems a bit funky and woody so I was hesitant, but on my own skin it turns quite green and fresher than imagined. Really not getting cannabis either, compared to say the Bad Boy perfume, which is on a whole different level. I do not smell Banana, but I can see where that is coming from. A mildly sweet fruity tropical vibe is in the mix. The frag is - unlike the other 10 manceras I tried - leaning masculine, quite fresh and highly original. Edit: Ah. The drydown goes to that earthy funky territory. Not sure I like the direction.

i dont know whats wrong with the nose of "toilet vibes" users here but to my nose that's just nonsense, it's purely a heavenly fruity creamy scent that my nose was wowed by and i just ordered a full bottle of now, also, just so you know this has a similar dna to Intense Cedrat Boise which is also delicious in its own aventus-y fruity vibes. Now that i have a full bottle i definitely get the banana and cannabis, but more sugar coated banana from this and it also has a similair vibe to Tom Ford's now discontinued Plum Japonais. This is a beautiful scent but gets much better after it calms down a bit. 9.5/10

When I first apply this it's strong to the point of being unpleasant, but then it just keeps getting better and better over time. The performance is unbelievable, lasting certainly into the next day but even for many days, sometimes I have even smelled it from my mouse pad just from my wrist having touched it the previous day. As far as the scent itself goes, incense, smoky, and spiced. I personally found it very similar to Amouage Jubilation XXV Man, and they do have several key notes in common. Overall this is one of the best Manceras to buy, it's unique and has huge performance to justify its price

This fragrance is highly underrated. It is a beautifully blended fragrance that, to me at least, is calming and unique. I don’t think the comparisons or “smells like” are near or similar. I get the cannabis, incense and woody notes the strongest. Moderate sillage and excellent longevity. Soft and smooth, it lingers and I never become nose blind to it. I’ve introduced this fragrance to several and they are always surprised at how pleasant and soothing it is. Again, very underrated and not well known. Definitely signature scent worthy but would take an equally unique person to pull it off.

I recently blind-bought this fragrance and have worn it 4 times now. It will surely end up on my profile's "favourites" list. Respect for Mancera for making such awesomely performing fragrances. This one has superb sillage, great projection and lasts an exceptionally long period of time. This is the case will well nigh all of the Manceras i own. Don't fear the cannibis note. Its not skunky or screaming, but rather herbal and fleeting, giving way to a bright woody incense vibe which lasts and lasts. Definitely niche, but tame niche and office appropriate. Highly recommended.

I just picked this up about a week ago and have worn it a few times. I am in the exact same boat as licorice_goat. Exact same. A greener, fresher version of Black Afgano. I would deem it more publicly acceptable. But wear what you want. Except Kerosene Followed. Don't ever wear that. This was a blind buy for me based off of recommendations from this community. Specially JusttheFactsMan who has yet to steer me wrong. Fantastic purchase and I may wear this more than Red Tobacco Intense. And I absolutely love that one. There are just more opportunities for this.

This is amazing scent, For those who want to step in herbal green scent this is perfect one for them, Open with Hint of smoke cannabis and fresh spicy with cannabis, it turns more smoky in the middle for sometime then becomes woody amber scent with vanilla playing role in background to give that little sweetness to it, totally awesome not too linear not too complex, not too herbal and smoky..Projecttion and sillage is strong and last 24 hours straight..i dont think its winter scent i can wear it anytime of the day or night....something unique from mancera

Had this for over a year sitting on my vanity. Liked it at first but didnt love it. Recently started wearing it again and cant put into words how much I love it. The balsamic vinergary-ness in the opening is gone and it has become a slightly sweet, very spicy, aromatic, green explosion with incense. It has become more pungent, deeper and darker after letting it mature. I shall start wearing it more often. The cannabis, as stated by others, is not the bud, but the greeness of the leaves and you definitely get that. Overall, it is a love from me.

Hindu Kush by Mancera is one of my absolute favorites. It's got this amazing incense and patchouli combo that just does it for me. Whenever I wear it, I'm instantly transported back to the '90s, when patchouli was like, everywhere. I don't get any cannabis vibes from it, though. It's more like a clean, fresh scent that's perfect for work or any occasion. Plus, it lasts forever and has a great sillage, so you know people will notice you when you're wearing it. Easy 9.1 out of 10 from me! I think it also mixes well with vanilla, or pistachio.

It doesn't smell exactly like cannabis, but it reminds me of my stoner friend's place. The cheap incense, the vanilla perfume, the patchouli oil, the clove cigarettes, all covering up the lingering grassy musky smell of previously smoked blunts. All coming to together in a way that may be reminiscent of weed, but doesn't smell like fresh, dank buds. And because it doesn't smell exactly like weed, it's actually perfectly safe to wear to work and school. It's a green spicy, ambery compliment getter that's perfect for autumn weather.

Ok if you're looking for a big push of cannabis, this isn't it. Now you will smell the smoke, and that amber is very appealing. The spices are going to greet you with excitement and a claiming patchouli and vanilla, hits the nose with such elegance it'll make you blush. Now the star of the show is going to be this dry cannabis aroma that combs in goes in the dry down. Honestly I get the aroma of the weed man's house early in the morning. Wtf we talking about the weed man's house on fragrantica smfh 🤦

After more time and wearing of this fragrance, I have had to update my previous review. I have come to really enjoy this fragrance particularly in colder temperatures. Pretty much every time I have worn this fragrance I have been complimented either by work colleagues or family. The spices and amber are by far the main accords in the fragrance and smells absolutely phenomenal in the air. I still recommend to sample before you buy however for me personally I have really grown to love this scent.

This one behaves a little strange. The opening is syrupy sweet, lovely, with a hidden green note, a nice one, the mid is my least favorite, it's amber-green and on the sharp side. However, in the dry down, the sweetness comes back, and that green sharp note gets refined, and it is to die for at that point. I like it, I like it a lot, and I would use it year round, but I would go easy on the trigger in summer, it is a soft mild beast, and it lasts a long time getting better as the hours go by.

So... I just got a bottle of Gucci Oud Intense yesterday (blind buy). Sprayed in the air, and swiped to my nose. I loved it, I thought it was amazing. This morning I thought I would give it a full wearing, and as I started going about my day I was like this reminds me of something in my collection. I was like what is it.... Then it came to me Hindu Kush! I don't know what it is maybe the Amber, but to my nose as Gucci Oud Intense drys down alittle it smells like Hindu Kush.

Its very very mot blind buy safe! If u wanna something very unique, not ur typical fragrance then go ahead and try it guarantee you that probably you havent smelled smth similar. Very strong and room filler , people will first smell ur scent then probably will see you), this how one of my classmates (girl) said to me, she said even if ur not in classroom but ur smell will stay there for alot of time) But not for everyone, its like 70% people will dislike it , 30% like it !

Another Mancera hit. UNique. Woody herbal with a green backbone - fougère lovers will get it immediately. Works year round, not locked into a season, which makes it more versatile than most of my heavy hitters. 5/5/5, beast mode performance, fills a room. Gentlemen, classic profile, no age ceiling really. Pricing around $60-70 on discounters for 4oz. I get heavily complimented on this. Would buy again. Highly recommended.

This smells like sweet banana, topped with cannabis oil and tree resin/amber, has a clean and body lotion vibe. Perfectly unisex, maybe a little bit masculine, but if I were to smell this on a woman, I would be pleasantly surprised. It lasts over 12 hours - literally all day and has great projection. Best suited for fall and spring in my opinion. Of all the Manceras I have smelled, this is probably number one for me!

Recently I opened my second bottle.. the people still confused.. wondering... what is that I am wearing ?? ... and I still keep it as a secret.. Indeed this is the number one in between all the Manceras.. a fragrance for the four seasons.. in winter u will smell cannabis and insense.. in summer u will pick banana and olive.. only for the leaders not for boys .. magical sillage and performance ✨️

Agent String, yes I get a banana note at the start! This isn't bad by the way very unique. This is beautiful, unsure how it smells in the air but I dig it. No where near as dank as Black Afagano definitely a mire wearable cannabis perfume. Absolutely didn't expect it to smell like this, again a good thing. Delicious, dark, mysterious. 9/10 - Losing a point fir versatility.

Hindu Kush is a sweet, resinous, smoky fragrance with some earthiness when the patchouli kicks in. The cannabis note is mixed down and you won't smell like pot in any way. For me this scent makes the most sense in Spring and Fall. Might be too sweet for the dog days of Summer. Quality fragrance with above average performance. Could well be a signature scent. 8 out of 10

Like the person below me, was expecting a lot stronger cannabis scent. Girlfriend smelt it and said it smells more like walking into a Shamans home. Or wearing a designer close and breaking down some weed with your hands then bottling that scent. Very nice and different for a green scent, get more leather than incense 7/10, blind buy worthy but wouldn’t pay retail.

Lol, putting 1 out of 5 with no comment makes that much sense :DD As for the perfume itself: well, to me it's something between B-612 and Laylati Green and bitter as the first one, sweet & warm as the latter I must agree something u...ish maybe be felt until some time goes.. For those who love something unusual and not a safe blind buy definitely!

Layer with Aoud lemon mint since it has similar vibes and you will smell amazing. Very unique. Hindu Kush is not for everyone as it has that balsamic note and not too many people like that. Layering it with a sweeter perfume from Mancera or Montale would be great. I tried this in summer and it works well so I feel it's kind of versatile.

This lovely green herbal incensy scent joint my collection recently. The note of cannabis is misleading, there is none. The whole nasal journey is like walk in lushy woods with mild incense sweetness alongside I find this scent quite easy to wear, but also understand why it is NOT for everyone and NOT a safe blind-buy.

#627 in my "Tour de Fragrance" As others have noted this is in the same ballpark as Black Afgano, but with less of a cannabis note to my nose, and I prefer this as a little less dark and more floral. I think this is fine for any environment and purpose. Good longevity and sillage. Definitely worth the money for me.
