Intense Instant Crush

Ah Mancera, a great entry level niche house, that much like it's sister brand montale, is notorious for naming their products in a way that is misleading from the scent...and this is definitely one of those times. I do not get even a hint of OG instant crush (EDIT: maybe a bit towards the far drydown). This is a quasi-gourmamd sandalwood scent with hints of leather. Do I like it? Hell yeah, this is a fall banger. Am I disappointed that I can't see the connection to the original? A little I suppose, but I like a flanker that can be a departure...but why not call it "Instant Crush Privee" or "Instant Crush Exclusif "?? When there is this much distance between the original, it seems disingenuous to name it and intense version. That is my only gripe with Mancera and montale...the naming.

Sweet, instense scent with some darkness (the leather?). It's a mature scent, better suited to a more mature audience and perhaps that's the reason it scores so low in fragrantica, but I've yet to have someone smell it on me and dislike it. The problem is that on me it doesn't last that long and it doesn't smell to anyone who's not standing right next to me; the ratings here are really weird IMHO. In short it's a very nice heady scent, sweet and sexy and it's a pleasure to wear even if I'm the only one to notice it. Update: After a month of wearing it, I've received numerous compliments so obviously the sillage is better than I thought it was. I even end up liking it more and more, rarely do I wear another fragrance from my 25+ collection, so it's definitely a winner.

This is glorious for a leather lover like me. It is the closest thing to my beloved Dark Vanilla which is no longer being sold in the United States (sadness). It's warm and sexy and just perfect. The leather is dark but soft like cashmere. The salted caramel makes it less serious; less threatening, and definitely more wearable. Although I think it leans just a tad masculine, it definitely can be worn by a woman. I am a dainty female and will certainly be rocking this. Having said that, I'm not sure about the projection and longevity is just OK given the price point. Anyway, I love it.

When I first smelled this I was like, goddamn the leather is really prominent and strong , wanted to sell it but then I left it in dark place for almost 3-4 months... AMAZING!!! I’m extremely surprised how the maceration here worked. I can smell the salted caramel with little bit of mandarine and the leather is just there in the background. Thank god that I didn’t sell it. 10/10 for me easily.

Ive never tried the original version because of the comparisons to br540 but when I saw that they where releasing an intense version I was intrigued. I got a sample from mancera in the discovery pack and in the little amount I had I enjoyed it very much. This is so well mixed to the point of its super strong but not cloying and everything works in harmony. This is on my to buy list for sure.

My first impression is that this smells like ombre nomade but less animalic and leans toward the sweet scent profile of the og IC and Arabians tonka, and also instead of oud; leather. It's pretty masculine. Edit: the leather takes a step back and the salted caramel becomes more noticeable. It's a sweet leather, with this metallic warm spicy vibe of the og.

Another amazing mancera beauty smells amazing. It’s a more manly instant crush with a beautiful leather scent which I like the smell of leather in frags but not when the leather overpowers the scents. This one blends it perfectly where you can still smell the other ingredients which is amazing..

Opening Instant Crush OG but punch in your face and stronger 🥵 this is definitely stronger version of OG which I was waiting for and bought immediately and not regret safe blind buy if u got OG but want stronger with leather added note this definitely worthy Anazing release from Mancera ✌️❤️🔥

It’s a darker version of instant crush with some of the same aspects as Brompton immortals extrait. It’s definitely a Beauty and very well done fragrance. The leather is in the background with the sweetness of the caramel and spiciness of the saffron coming out. Bravo Mancera 10/10

Very, very similar to Clive Christian Town & Country. If Lattafa Emeer is too loud or unrefined for you when you want the T&C experience in a budget, this is a great alternative for a little more that comes across more refined and subtle, but closer to the real Clive Christian.

This is truly an underrated fragrance. Dont believe the rating. This is definitely over a 4.0 rating perfume. It smells like every other expensive perfume mixed together in a pot and stirred, but I still think they did a very good job! Bravo!

I sampled on skin. Similar to the original but also very different. The black leather is strong, which might make this a challenging wear for some. Otherwise, I think it’s a standout release from the house worthy of some hype.

This is so strong. But the dry down is so sweet and touchy. 1 spray is enough for 😂 7/10 scent Strenght 11/10

Sampling Mancera Intense Instant Crush, a 2025 release and follow-up/flanker to Instant Crush, released in 2019, which was very popular in the months following its release. The original is a pleasantly fresh, bright, sweet blend of vanilla, amber, jasmine, and rose, very easy for me to like, though I never quite loved it enough to buy a bottle. Intense Instant Crush is a considerable departure, in my opinion, less sweet and bright, with a suede-type note as the main difference, which changes the character entirely from being a bright fresh sparkly sweet floral gourmand to a leather-centered-but-still-sweet sort of blend. Intense feels denser but perhaps less boastful since Instant Crush is quite a performer, but overall, performance is comparable. Overall, I see Intense as a quite-different offering that probably works better for more serious occasions since it’s a little less sweet and bright. Both are very good, and I welcome this new version. I feel that it’s unlikely I would connect the two unless they were so named. I quite like both, though. Unlike most of the line, which is EDP, Intense Instant Crush is extrait concentration, and has a higher price point of $235 for 120ml, sold in the US via the house website and great boutiques like Olfactif, from which I’ve bought this and other samples. As with most Mancera and Montale offerings, though, Intense Instant Crush is also available on the secondary market. 7 out of 10

Opens with a very prominent saffron note, accompanied by a “dirty” leather-rose combo. The first 20 minutes are extremely intense, almost overwhelming, but as it begins to dry down, it gradually softens and evolves into something truly magical. To my nose, this Intense version bears little resemblance to the original Instant Crush. The airy cotton candy sweetness and delicate white floral facets are gone, replaced by a richer, darker, more oriental character. Intense Instant Crush revolves around caramel, amberwoods, rose, and leather, creating a warm, sensual, and slightly gourmand aura. Longevity: Very long-lasting, easily 10+ hours on my skin. Projection: Strong in the first 1-2 hours, gradually settling to a moderate sillage that sits closer to the skin. Overall impression: A bolder, richer, more masculine reinterpretation of the original Instant Crush, with a gourmand-oriental twist. Reminds me a lot of Montale Dark Vanilla, but with a distinctive saffron-rose signature.

I blind bought this bottle and I was expecting something very different from what all the reviewers had said it was going to be like (not a big surprise). I would say the most powerful note in this frag is leather, which obviously gives way to some softer notes, which can be seen in the breakdown. Now for the HUGE problem. I used this stuff after showering and moisturizing, and it literally burned my skin so badly that I turned red. My face, my neck, my chest. It felt like somebody poured straight acid on my skin. I have only ever had an experience like this with one other bottle - Tobacco Touch, by Maison Alhambra. I think they use WAY too much alcohol in this frag.

Pretty unique fragrance for such a low level niche house. Hard to describe, similar to instant crush ofc but it smells alot more masculine and projects much more. its not smoky like most say, i dont know what kind of nose they have, its more spicey and less caramel based. Honestly this is red tobacco level projection and longevity, its on the cusp of being too much. not a bad frag just there are better, instant crush would be a better buy than intense. do not wear this during the day. 7.3/10

I get what everyone says about having to be in the mood for this fragrance. I definitely get the saffron and caramel. It smells very similar to Initio’s Blessed Baraka It’s definitely long lasting 12+ hours It stays on skin as well as clothes and the projection is great as well. I like it a lot but it’s not a love.
