mancera hasn’t been my favourite house, none of the scents has made my heart flutter except this, this one is insane. it’s a creamy, rice-powdery musky mochi goodness that i cannot get enough of. i am not a fan of gourmand fragrances, and although it does have that mochi sweetness it’s not your usual cloying gourmand. love love love. one of my signature scents ever since it came out

As a huge mancera lover I couldnt wait to get my hands on it, and I blind bought it. It starts off very soft creamy powdery, u can smell the iris and rice powder, reminiscent of Putain de Palaces ELDO, suddenly the musk and ambergis kick in and it gains freshness and depth and it lasts and lasts and lastssss.... amazing amazing amazing

A creamy, starchy, mildly sweet hug. Very cozy and relaxing on my skin and unique in my collection. Really love it!

Another hit I think. Mancera kills it with the gourmands.

I get the idea of mochi here for sure. It smells only slightly sweet, nutty and flour-y (I totally get why Bois Farine was voted here). The pistachio is not overly synthetic. Overall I would call this a gourmand but not the overly foody kind that makes it kinda gross to wear. My only problem is the musk used here is exactly the same one used in Ormaie 18-12 and I absolutely hate that fragrance. It is not nearly as annoying and screechy as 18-12 but it is there. Not mad at Mancera though, they are priced at less than half of what the scam house Ormaie charges for their bottles. I got the 60ml and paid USD100 plus USD39 for shipping at Sabina (I think there was a glitch in their price that one day).

I reaaaally like this one! Strangely, I get something like Sora Dora Mallow on the opening -- anyone else? However, when it dries down creamy with a little nuttiness that makes it soft, comforting and sweet. It lowkey reminds me of a creamier, softer version of Gulf Orchid Rice Milk without the spice. I adore her.

I gave this a shot and, THANKFULLY with my full bottle, I received a sample. Sadly, I'm returning this unopened and taking the return hit because ... I just do not like this. The pistachio is SO bad in this. So strong, almost sickly strong. Wish it were a bit more tame and powdery. The musk is barely there; this is more like a sweet, sugary, doughy mochi. Some will love this, and this could easily be layered. For me, this just won't work. It also really didn't stand out on my skin, no real sillage or longevity, moderate if anything on the longevity. But it's sickly sweet and cloying on the skin; I felt almost choked out. Granted, it's super hot here now, and this may have done and likely again would do better in a colder weather vibe, but even then, this is just SO sweet I can't wear this. Nice...but I'm glad I got to essentially sample and return it. 8/10 for me, but if you can sample it, I would highly suggest doing so before a full blind buy dive in.

Was excited to get this but now I’m not so sure. I love the opening but in the dry down the iris comes through alot and not much else. It becomes overly powdery and all the other notes fade away. I’ll try it again and see if my mind changes..

Not what I was expecting. Quite disappointed. Was expecting better. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice but it’s nothing ground breaking, who knows I may reach for it in the winter.

it smells very musky, grainy and powdery sweet. I find it very soft. Like a lightly sweetened dessert

If you usually have an issue with artificial pistachio smells, like the ones in body creams and shower gels I would advice you to NOT blind buy this. It has great rice and ice cream notes but for me it's buried under that literal smell of Dove pistachio & Vanilla Cream Body Wash. If you enjoy a close skin scent and are willing to go through the first hour of pistachio it might be worth it to you.

This is not a bad fragrance but very very heavy pistachio, I had to pass it on, it was just too much for me, I could not get any other note. Still pretty for pistachio lovers.

*editing to add: I have hated every single Mancera perfume I’ve ever tried to date. And I’ve tried all of the feminine leaning ones and some masculine. This one is different! I mainly smell rice , iris, and vanilla. Pistachio was strong to me at first for some reason. The first time I tested it. But when I tested it a second time the notes were more blended and the pistachio faded a bit to the background. Wondering if maybe it’s because it sat a little while to settle. Anyways- I’m not a huge nut fan. Pistachio , hazelnut, those kinds of notes usually ruin a perfume for me. I’m not bothered by the pistachio in this one though. The musk, rice powder & Iris shine for me. It’s sweetened up by brown sugar , vanilla & ice cream. I don’t get a syrupy or dense feel like you usually would from brown sugar or ice cream. It’s more of a light sweetness.

If you have navitus eclat then you don’t need this as there VERY similar. This is strange but this is fowoma seacoco but without the passion fruit and ginger just spray the two side by side and you will see what I mean. Seacoco is the fruity summer sister and mochi musk is the creamy fall option. They both have a whipped cream salty aspect. But overall I was disappointed. This is just meh like alot of lactonic attempts atm there nothing to write home about. Will not be buying a full size. You could also satisfy this need with dirty rice or milk orchid if you ignore the fig and orchid note.

I'm not a mancera fan but this isn't half bad. Rice, pistachio, iris, vanilla ice cream and musk. Yes, it smells like vanilla ice cream and not vanilla. 4160 Tuesday has a fragrance (the name escapes me) that smells like hyper realistic vanilla ice cream, and that note is done a bit better there, but it's not a main player here like that one.. Strangely, if you want to smell like an ice cream shop, Mugler Over the must smells like you stepped into an ice cream parlor. But I digress, this isn't either of those perfumes, but still a solid release.

I really wanted to like this as the notes sound amazing! But I’m sensitive to amberwoody molecules and unfortunately they dominate for me. Some people don’t experience them in the same way that I do, so please do try it for yourself. If you know you’re sensitive to amber wood synthetics, test with caution.

A nice classy rice musk. Main notes I pick up on are pistachio, rice powder, iris and musk. Pistachio doesn’t smell artificial or overly sweet. It’s a natural pistachio scent. Iris kind of overpowers the rice powder in the dry down
