Red Tobacco Intense

I have a 4 ounce of the original Red Tobacco I got on clearance from local discount store. Honestly? It was ok. I never grew to love the fragrance as I thought I would. My collection is mostly scents of tobaccos, leathers and resins. Some sweet some dry. Some extremely challenging for the average wearer. My problem with Red Tobacco the original EDP is that what many refer to as a fruitiness For me was just an onslaught of sweetness of different shades of red. And super medicinal. Which i normally dont mind. Something about it though, I never could get to the drydwon. The opening and the what I disliked about it made me count the hours of my life wasting away. But oddly enough I would reach for it every once in awhile to smell the atomizer because a single whiff I am able to appreciate it but I dont want to smell like it. Enter Intense Red Tobacco. I will admit. This was the craziest full size bottle blind buy I ever rolled the dice on. I watched videos and read reviews just trying to get an idea of what to expect and unlike other fragrances opinions were wildly different. But this was a sealed bottle for a stupid low price so I said why not lets see who is right. Turns out for me this is what I was hoping the fragrance would have been from the get go. Its much smoother. It is still synthetic to my nose but those screeching fingers on a chalkboard insanity is not there. In fact for me, it seems to kinda skip the opening of the original all together and starts where the mids are in the OG. My key take away differences are it is more appealing and less loud for the sake of being loud. If you want your fragrances to announce you have entered the room like a flamethrower the original is what you want. But the intense version for me IS more intense just in differnent ways. You get a really good scent bubble. The scent is leather heavy, woodier but the aura and essence of the original is there but instead of that being in your nose making me cry you catch the dna in the air as the sillage is really where this shines. The atomizer is a HUGE step up from the flimsy old fire hose sprays and is pressurized with a very good mist distribution. The oud is present but not your typical montale, mancera oud. I cant say that its clean, but its not a barnyard or over medicinal oud. Its balanced. And the saffron seems very apparent giving that leather a fine fresh suede that has a tobacco accord that is much more present and creeps up more in the drydown. But even the vanilla is toned down. So in drydown it doesnt get overly sweet and still remains anchored by the leathery qualities. I find it to be quite beautiful. Final thoughts. They are both not safe blind buys. But if you were to get one and want the more mature yet wearable version i would say get the intense all day long. If you want the WMD linear mashup of the original that will depend on the individual. As a a long time collector if you were to put a sample of each of these in front of me and I sprayed them (both equally oily very very oily) side by side on skin I would think Intense Red Tobacco was a niche fragrance that was done well and i can appreciate the balance and evolution of the scent and its artistry. Smelling the EDP og blindly would give me vibes that one of the lesser quality clone houses tried to make a dupe of it but didnt have access to higher quality synthetics or they just got the blend wrong and made it sweeter on accident or intenional. Final rating 9/10 In my vast tobacco collection I dont have anything quite like this. And while other may smell like this some of them are quite expensive in comparison. If you can get your nose on it before you buy it I would highly recommend giving it a sniff. And if you liked the og but just couldnt get past the opening and want a more rugged scent that wont announce you but people will remember you walked by you may just want to grab a bottle.

So when I hear people say, “This one’s not as loud,” or “That one’s better,” I just smile. They don’t get it yet. The opening? Sure — one of them can be a little rough, a little wild at first. But don’t cry🥲Give it a minute. It’s gonna be alright.😁 once it settles, that magic unfolds — smooth, deep, and confident. It doesn’t need to shout to be unforgettable..But it is going to shout anyways 🤣❤️ And will also Take your heart captive in time. Patience 🥰 Because, honestly—I’m in love. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a fragrance more than Mancera Red tobacco and Mancera Red tobacco Intense. Both of them own me. I can’t stop thinking about them. They ooze naturally from my sweat glands , and I swear I even dream about them. That perfect balance of patchouli, cinnamon, and oud hits like a Winston-Salem tobacco shed bursting open into the open air from the heart of the Carolinas to hills of California —sweet, warm leaves filling the air. And that scent trail? Unreal. I look behind me and see women floating through it in hindsight 20/20 like Fred Flintstone following the smell of a brontosaurus BBQ. “Oooh, you smell so good,” they say— and I’m standing there feeling like Fred Durst in the Nookie video. All these ladies floating behind me No need to go chasing anything—just turn around. They’re already there. Only problem? Ooops My wife’s swinging through the mist, clearing them out of the air. 😂 There she stands just Beating them out of the trail with her high heel shoes. Wait ! Is that a high heel? Or Is that a bottle Good girl blush Elixir? But Still !HA HA HA HAAAAAA! It’s no match for both Mancera red tobaccos . They smell me coming for miles. And nobody knows what it is. But they like it . Not even Good Girl Elixir can over shadow the power of Mancera Red❤️❤️❤️❤️ Man, I could sit alone for hours just smelling myself. I even sprayed my dog after a bath. “Damn, Chew—you smell good!” Now I know what those women mean. ❤️ Come here boy. I hold them both close to my heart-Mancera Red in my left hand, Intense in my right. I spray them down both at once, because why not? It hits different that way. It blows a hole straight through the night ❤️ Then I hold them to my chest like old friends and whisper, I hold you both close to my heart. I spray so much on , people smell patchouli every time I fart ! “Damn, y’all mother fuckers are smellin good.” ❤️❤️❤️ I love you, You Mancera Red Tobaccos Mean it. Muwah!💋

I have not smelled the original but description alone of it being more fruity and sweet puts me off. Then i read about Intense and peaked my interest. I love tobacco in perfume. I also love leather and also a collector of REAL Oud attar. I enjoy some florals. But sweet to me=gourmand and gourmand=cloying. This is subtle sweet. There is a cherry smell on the initial few wet minutes. Its not listed but it smells cherry. Others too have pointed this out. reminds me of dr. Pepper and tonka. I was immediately intrigued. I love Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco over TF tobacco Vanille due to its clove(i also surprisingly to others, find it less sweet then TF). i got a familiar spice love here and it was also so different. I was excited. Initial drydown, the Dr. Pepper fizz smell leaves and tobacco comes in. Tobacco and leather, the smoke. it was enthralling. Masculine, and most of all STRONG. This stuff has a massive kick and scent cloud. Definitely NOT blind buy safe. I couldnt stop but smelling myself every few minutes. Then a few hours later more love for it. I could smell a VERY subtle vanilla tonka which made me happy as i cant stand cloying smell of vanilla in perfume. The guaiac wood and ambergis, the musk, its all there, perfectly balanced in just absolute rugged manliness. Not cowboy rugged. But an old school 3 piece suit pocketwatch gentleman rugged. This perfume exudes absolute confidence. You definitely have to be comfortable with it because people WILL notice it, for good or bad because as many have said, it is BEAST. This is so solid. I absolutely love it. This is definitely cold weater and evenings for sure. Its a polarizing scent that a small decant for a blind buy would be a safe purchase. I took a gamble and bought a 5ml decant based on the insane (and funny) positive and negative comments here. I just had to try it because it just sounded absolutely one of the most divisive scents ive read on. And it sounded like a winner to me so i wanted a larger decant to enjoy. Now own a full bottle and its one of mt alltime favorites.

One of my favorite scents of all time❤️ so many reviews complaining that its not more intense that the original red tabacco but....is that really what we needed? The original is already nuclear and i love that about it, but taking it up a notch would have been overkill. Yea the name could have been different but at the end of the day does that really matter and does it really take away from what this scent is? Questions I ponder on the toilet. If you ask me red tabacco intense is a phenomenal fragrance, certainly a refined version of the original but it still holds that same sexy vibe I fell in love with in the first place. The notes dont seem as smashed together in the intense version, I can pick out the leather, musk, tabacco, vanilla and incense easily yet they still blend into a beautiful concoction. Leather is probably the most noticeable difference to me between the two versions. It isn't dominant but can definitely be picked up throughout the scent, almost that sweet leather like ombre leather. I also dont notice the cinnamon and incense as much as I do with the OG though they are still there just muted back a bit. The performance is not as good as the OG but thats not to say this fragrance doesn't thump! I still get better performance than 90% of my collection especially if I spray on clothes then this scent will last days easily. I would smell both and make a pick for yourself! Can't see a reason to own both, if you want performance go with the OG, if you want a imo better scent then get the new Intense version. Either way they both smell to similar to own both. I plan on wearing this a lot this fall. 9/10

Scent: 9.5/10 -- Intense. The scent carries itself kind of how Matt Damon's character does in Bourne series when in control of the situation. Whenever I apply this after a long time since the last use, the opening makes me take a deep breath. But heavenly dry down is where I am like "take my money Mancera". I get every bit of leather, tobacco and sweetness with little bit more animalic in opening versus pure smoothness in drydown. Longevity: 10/10 -- Lasts for 15+ hrs on skin (yup tested 6 pm to 10 am next day). Lasts for days on clothes. Performance: 9/10 -- Projection is above average (though not enormous) for first 2-3 hours with thick silage. I always get wafts until I shower. I typically do 4 sprays (2 sprays on arms and 2 on back of the neck). Too many sprays and you are going to choke yourself and possible people around you. Versatility: 5/10 -- Really only meant for dressed up events or cooler nights when going out. I would not wear this if I am going to be in small enclosed spaces. This is manly scent and I don't think this is appreciated by majority of the folks. Only men have complemented me on this fragrance. Wearing Experience: 10/10 -- I am couple of inches taller with broader shoulders while wearing this. Overall: 9.5/10 -- Only reason this is not 10 is because I don't know if I will like the original better than this one.

I honestly fell in love with this perfume when I had first tried it. I was going back to Germany from Dubai, so I had the chance to visit Dubai’s duty free. I had some extra cash lying around that I wanted to spend on a brand new fragrance. It was either this or a PdM perfume. I unfortunately didn’t find the PdM perfume that I wanted so I tried both Red Tobacco intense and the OG. My nose instantly gravitated towards the intense version, it smelled like a much mellowed out cigarette that doesn’t leave the stale smell after being smoked. I sprayed it one time and I kid you not, I literally felt all the heads behind me and in my direct vicinity being turned around. Due to Dubai’s Duty free having no tax on products (perfumes and makeup, etc...) I got it at a very cheap price compared if I had gotten it from inside of Germany or Dubai. Back to the smell, the beginning smells natural, but the true beauty shines when it settles down on your skin, it literally radiates off your skin. It feels like another chernobyl has landed on your skin, but instead of getting of radiation, you get phone numbers. I’ve had many students stopping and asking me what perfume I am wearing, and because i’m a gatekeeper, I would tell them it’s a custom made perfume from Dubai. It layers amazingly well with Tom Ford Ombre leather EdP.

#933 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Mancera "Red Tobacco" on the back of my right hand. Mancera "Red Tobacco Intense" on the back of my left hand. Red Tobacco opens with a chemical blast that Intense doesn't feature. The Intense opening is smooth and leathery. If you already have Red Tobacco it'll be worth it to you to go ahead and get Intense. If you already have Intense, don't even waste your money on Red Tobacco. Intense is so much better. That smoothness makes it car pool, elevator and small office safe. The comparative harshness of Red Tobacco would be iffy in tight quarters, for the first half hour anyway. I think Intense is a safe blind buy for men. A lovely lady at the coffee shop complimented me on it and asked what it was and said she'd love to wear it. So I think despite tobacco usually being men's wear, women can totally rock this scent. Red Tobacco on the other hand is more masculine and is not a sure thing IMO, so I'd try it out first. I think if you have both you'll wear the Intense and the original will gather dust.

This fragrance reminds me of an old Tobacco centric coffee shop I used to visit... walls costed in resin, ceiling fans circulating various types of smoke through the establishment, hippies drinking spicey aromatic tea, old bearded men lighting tobacco pipes with matches. Incense burning behind the bar. The aroma when one would open the humidor, blasted in the face with the robust scent of 10,000 cigars. A person with dreads walks by you, doused in patchouli, drinking a vanilla latte, smoking an American spirit, wearing Vintage suede boots and a leather jacket that was stored in an attic. I love the fragrant memories I retained there from hours spent chainsmoking with friends, drinking dirty chais, attempting to read through the veil of tears in my vision from the absolute lack of breathable air. This also reminds me of being a small child, opening my uncles cigar box just to breathe in the strange aromas of those taboo things that were not for children.

To keep this short, it's basically the same Red Tobacco with slightly shorter longevity (still 8-10 hrs!), still nuclear projection but the opening is where the two differ. Intense is much smoother, less chemical-forward and right into the smoke and spices whereas the OG is harsher in the opening for the first 15-30 min. Both then dry down into this sweet, sexy smooth powdery vanillic DNA. To me Red Tobacco is far more reminiscent of Triumph of Baccus (Argos) than Carlisle (PdM), mostly because Carlisle to me has this harsh urinal cake opening and apple pie drydown whereas if you remove the rum from Triumph and replace it with pear, you get a lot closer to Red Tobacco. Comparisons aside, Red Tobacco is awesome value for the money. It lasts forever, it's very sexy and will get you compliments. Dress this up and you will be the center of attention. Careful with the sprays however, especially inside and in close quarters, it's very strong.

I have not tried the original. After reading reviews, I decided to blind buy this one. I enjoy tobacco fragrances. The prior reviews mentioned the intense version as being more refined. I certainly enjoy it. Great tobacco, slightly sweet with a hint of vanilla. Other tobacco fragrances add too much sweetness at times. But, now I am curious about the original. With this not being offensive, I wonder if i would like offensive better. May have to listen to @RokinRandy and just get both. Great performance. Comforting if you love tobacco and inoffensive. I also enjoy Royal Tobacco from Amouage. However, it is different. I think this one is more wearable for everyday and Royal Tobacco more so for myself or special occasions. With this being a hit for me and the fact I was able to find it at a discounter, I will certainly try more from Mancera. If you know of a great dry tobacco fragrance that is not too sweet, feel free to tell me.

I have both the OG and the Intense. The OG is amazing, but it needs a bit more pomp and circumstance to pull off. This one is calmer, denser, and more grown up. I can't tell which one is better, this one is more elegant, and the other is more sexy. They both last a good time, but this one is thicker and projects less. As for the notes, the OG is sweeter, and while this has the better opening the OG has the better dry down. That said, you have to know I am splitting hairs here. If you feel this one or the OG are hard to pull off, I would go with a designer option like Boss Bottled Absolu, or if you have the cash, go with PDM Carlisle. These two are simpler, and less potent than the two Red Tobacco flankers. I have those too as well (and I compared them). But if these are also too outlandish, then go with Borouj Perlador. That one has some amber and sweetness borrowed from something like Oajan or Angel Share in its DNA.

Got a full bottle the other day. It’s not “intense” to my nose. The pear is gone from the top and pick up saffron/incense/leather in the opening. The Red Tobacco DNA is still there but the rough edges are gone. As it dries down, it starts to veer towards Carlisle. The nutmeg, patchouli, and pear pop up around the 2 hour mark and are there for the duration. I can’t stop sniffing my hoodie!! It definitely turns darker and more delicious as the hours go by. Easily 8+ hours longevity. Carlisle comes to mind every time I catch a waft. Red Tobacco is on my Mt. Rushmore. Fans of RT might be put off with the direction Mancera went with this. I think they could have called this something else besides Red Tobacco Intense. The DNA is there but it does its own thing in the dry down. Easily 8+ hours on my skin. Project is arms length for 2+ hours. Not a blind buy....but a decant or sample first. Cheers!!!

What a fragrance. Quintessentially Mancera. The signature Mancera oud accord is in here, but everything, including the features of the original recipe are smoothed out. Some may expect the "intense" variant to be more explosive and, well, intense. But really, this is a refined, almost mellowed out version of the normal Red Tobacco. In the earlier stages of this fragrance, something very subtly reminds me of Tonka Cola. The tobacco note, though still prominent, is beatifully blended in with the woody and spicy nuances. Unsurprisingly, you get all the performance you could want from such a fragrance. It lasts and it projects, especially for the first couple of hours. Honestly, if you own either this or the original Red Tobacco, you don't need both. I think it becomes a matter of preference. With that in mind, I think both fragrances have a deserved place within Mancera's extensive catalogue.

My favourite fragrance. I cant meet people without getting compliments. My friends always joke with me, saying that they can smell me before they can see me. Noone ever said it is weak or it is too strong or smells bad. People say it smells bad because they smell it right after spraying it, or they smell the atomizer. Spray it, wait 10-15 minutes, and then smell it. Its amazing, and it will fill the room. I apply 4 sprays every morning at 7:30, and people can still smell it on me at 5-6 pm. Only three scenarios where I dont wear it: 18+ things (if you lick my neck you will basically start choking xd), gym(people will get dizzy if they smell this for hours), and summer daytime (in the night its fine). And one more advantage, the prizes dropped so much, but the quality is the same. Already used 3 120ml bottles, but I will use this until the world runs out of red tobaccos❤️🌶️

I own Cedrat Boise along with the intense flanker as well as Aoud Exclusif. These are fine fragrances but Red Tobacco Intense is on another level. This is the best of any Mancera I've tried so far. It is so smooth and masculine. The tobacco note is gorgeous and dominant with a slight sweetness. This is a banger fall and winter fragrance. This has to be the most smooth, cozy, manly cold weather fragrance I've encountered. There are similarities to PDM Carlisle but I think this is better and it's half the price. It doesn't have the strong apple opening and in place of patchouli/vanilla you get an equally smooth, sweet, moist tobacco that is very calming and masculine. I can't imagine wanting more beast mode than this. I put in a half a spray on my wrist and it utterly envelopes me in a cloud of smooth pipe shop tobacco. This stuff is good. Way to go Mancera.

I have both and the main differences between this and the original red tobacco: - Oud is more prominent - Leather note is detectable - Much smoother from the opening - Less fruity overall - Less sweetness in the dry down (still sweet, just not as much vanilla as og) - Not as "intense" as the name suggests I love both this and the original. If you love the original and want something smoother with an emphasis on the oud/leather then the intense version is a nice addition to your collection. If you're buying this thinking you're about to get a nuclear version of red tobacco because of the "intense" added into the name then you're going to be disappointed. Both are brilliant in terms of longevity but people really over do the whole "OMG RED TOBACCO IS THE STRONGEST FRAGRANCE EVERRRR" crap that I've seen thrown around over the years...

This is for the people who are confused by the low rating. Like I was, given the youtuber reviews and the not so hot fragrantica reviews The whole premise of this is very simple, I have a decant of red tobacco and a full bottle of this. This is a smoother, higher quality, slightly darker version of red tobacco. A good way of putting it is how gents scents put it, imagine red tobacco but a couple steps closer to carlisle, which I love which probably describes why I prefer this. This has similar longevity, but given the extrait concentration, it sits much closer to skin than the og. So overall this definitely deserves at the least the same rating as the og, you get a darker, more mature, and higher quality scent at the expense of projection imo, Longevity is the same between both. tldr; more refined smell, this more projection, og

Okay. Two wearings and I love it. The pungent spicy tobacco overdose from the original really is toned down here, while having an identical scent. This is so much more smooth. There is the same tobacco heavy, spicy and slightly animalic oud profile, while still lasting 16+ hours, but this smells closer to the dry down of the original after like 8 hours. Intense red tobacco has a gorgeous creamy and woody base that really balances the pipe tobacco and smoky oud that pushes so much which makes this a lot more wearable. It’s not an intense version of the OG, but it is an improved version. First impression of this was a 3/5, and I give it a 5/5 now. Montale was able to perfect one of the greatest and most polarizing/inspiring DNA’s of all time, and it’s incredible.

Absolute unit of a fragrance, power in a bottle. Touch of sweetness in the opening drying down to hyper-masculine dry woods and warm spicy tobacco. I don't get how this could be marketed as unisex. This thing is a monster performer too, I've never tried the original but I can't imagine anyone needing more performance than this. My skin is particularly good with fragrances for projection, and with this, one spray fills rooms, and it lasts way beyond 12 hours. I wasn't the biggest fan of this for a while, it just smelled so polarising. But it's one of those smells that grows on you, at least for me and from what I've heard from many others. Don't blind buy, there's nothing safe about this lol. Real statement-maker. Such a damn good smell when you get used to it.

This is not OG red tobacco! The original red tobacco is quite nice, but as we all know a beastmode. Screechy tobacco, extremely spicey and smoky. Hard to wear and not so mass appealing, often described as a "Dr Pepper ashtray" Red tobacco intense, far from its creator. A far deeper, richer and more mass appealing red tobacco. Its remains the same with the tobacco and spice, but toned down and balanced out with some slight sweetness, leather and a green touch. The synthetics are also definitely toned down. This fragrance is a gorgeous cold weather scent for a dressed up night. Penetrating through the air, and your nose, while creating a deep, rich, complex and gorgeous sophisticated masculine scent. The performance gose without saying

So I was flirting with it ever since it came out , never bothered with the OG cause of the opening but I contemplated getting this because I heard left and right rhey fixed it but also changed the fragrance making it more leathery. I finally pulled the trigger on it and got it today and ... What a magnificent fragrance , wonderful combination of cherry and tobacco which btw is a wonderful tobacco. Leather is a nice heavy leather and aoud ia not animalistic at all. Patsouli is there ro add to the blend and of course the saffron. I could go on and on but point is , this is a wonderful one that you can wear any time any place except summer time and please dont over spray and keep away from your nose.

I want you to walk with me a moment You're at a hotel pool, maybe a less reputable hotel but one that can at least afford to over-chlorinate the tepid blue water. A hairy, large but not unpleasant looking man sits down next to you, smelling of an almost overwhelmingly sweet not-quite-cinnamon that plays soprano to the chlorine's bass When he rolls over to you and asks where you're headed, releasing that skin-soaked chlorine scent along with a burst of spice, that's what this smells like. This is a scent you wear to flirt with women half your age in an inappropriate place, with surprising success. It would work on me.

Taking no points off from Red Tobacco Intense but for some reason I didn't feel the same kick as I feel when I go for the original. Having said that, absolutely stunning fragrance, which feels a bit more heavy on cinnamon but almost feels same in the air as original version. The longevity and projection is nuclear - not beast. Intense seems to be way heavier so I think it will last even longer and may project to a lesser distance but still for more time. I have both versions now but a part of me does think if I really needed to be get intense one when I had the option to buy another and different perfume. :).

Is it redundant ? I think it depends. If you love tobacco like I do . If so you can’t have enough. Maybe I have 2 bottles of original Tobacco red because I seen it on sale under $70. Redundant ?!! Lol When it comes to Tobacco I have the originals and the cheap inspirations. I have about all of them. Some 3 bottles of the same. Just buy the damn thing !!!! You can find it way under $100 if you look.. I got intense for around $60.00 Either way I will still smell like a million dollars 20 years from now 😂 The way prices keep climbing maybe even 2 million dollars 😂

10/10 This fragrance is one of the best "Intense" type of perfumes, it takes everything that was praised from the original and adds this elegance and depth with the oud and leather, magnificent and I get a lot of compliments wearing it. Esta fragancia es una de las mejores "intense", tiene todo lo bueno de la red tobacco original y lo mejora con las notas de oud y cuero que le da mas elegancia y profundidad al perfume, magnifica y la recomiendo encaresidamente es una de las fragancias con las que mas cumplidos recibo.

After trying it again, I think I might like to re-review this. I stand by what I previously said, but I would like to add that this has a subtle dark leathery accord which brings it cliser to carlisle than the og red tobacco. If I had to say, this would be 70% RT + 30% carlisle. If you are wondering whether you should buy the OG RT or the intense: go for the OG if you want something bolder, and go for the intense if you want something more mature and sophisticated. 10/10 imo (I like it even more than the first time).

I have the Bottle and am wearing it in my hand right now. This is my first wear and it’s very similar to the original. It smells richer, deeper, but less strong. It still lasts 16+ hours is a room filler, but not as strong as the original. I like it, but I don’t love it, but I feel the same as the original. Honestly, they are too similar to have both, and both go for around 85-90 dollars on discounters, so just pick your preferred projection. First impression on skin is a 3/5, but I’m sure it will grow on me more

My favorite thing about this fragrance is the hate. I love ❤️ how there are people that vote the silage and performance as weak or those who say it’s over priced I just got it from fragrance buy.ca for $115 for 120ml that’s crazy cheap for a fragrance that lasts 24hr and smells this good even at retail the price is worth it. But for real RT and IRT are my favorite mancera dry tobacco that Move into a sweetish pipe tobacco red, spicy, rich and powerful like Donald Trump what’s there not to like.

Warm, dark, deep, spicy, elegant and quite masculine. I feel mostly tobacco, vanilla, agarwood and sandalwood. Very well blended and smooth. I don't find it too strong, overpowering or punching as many people say. I personally spray 5 times from this fragrance even in summer. For me, Red Tobacco Intense has the same vibe as Carlisle Parfum de Marley and Tom Ford's Oud Wood. I mean, if you like one of these, you will most likely enjoy the other two as well.

My GOSH, this nuclear bomb is AMAZING! Worth every penny. I was worried about the oud note, but it’s actually really tame. What you get is a spicy rose/floral, oriental-ish fragrance with a slightly sweet tone — and now I truly understand why “Red” is in the name. That spicy floral heart instantly reminded me of Toy Boy — not a clone, but the same fiery rose vibe. It’s like Toy Boy’s peppery rose matured into something deeper, warmer, and wrapped in smoke.

I’ve never smelled the Original, but this is beautiful. Im not a fan of strong leather fragrances and this is not that. While there is leather in the opening it isn’t too strong, and within a few minutes becomes a smooth, semi-sweet vanilla and wood scent complimented by tobacco. If the OG is Kramer- kicking the door open and announcing itself before you do, then this is Jerry. Not obnoxious but definitely grabbing the attention in the room. 9/10

If you like tobacco fragrances and you don't own the og red tobacco then get this. If you already own the og then get this. It's that good. How the og has a better rating than this ill never know. I suppose it's because this isn't as intense as red tobacco. While it may not be as intense it's just overall better and more refined. I'll never own a bottle of red tobacco because this is so much better even though it's not that different. 10/10

This is fragrance that you will either gatekeep or discard. IF YOU ARE 30 AND ABOVE, YOU SHOULD TRY IT OUT. try a decant cos not everybody would like a bossy perfume that just slaps. i have got compliments and iv also got looks. I adore this smell. its like DONOT F WITH ME VIBES. if you appreciate unique fragrances give this a whiff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUT NOT BLIND BUY WORTHY. SCENT : 10/10 PERFORMANCE AND SILLAGE : FOREVER

Love this fragrance. You get the leather and tobacco immediately. This is more “restricted” than the original. But by restricted I mean more versatile and easy to wear. Very mysterious feel. Definitely draws you in. Update: furthering this review after having it for a few weeks, the longer I have it the more I love it. You find yourself hoping to catch glimpses of it in the air constantly, and when you do...it is amazing.

I got a sample with my last order and even though I didn't expect it, I really really love this one! So sensual and sexy 😋 if this was on a man, I would not only turn my head, but stroke his arm and say hello! Very nice blend, reminds me of Tabac Rose from BDK. But TR with rose and chocolate feels more feminine while this one paints a picture of a topless man with skin overheated from the sun. I want full bottle of this!

this thing is amazing, although i wouldnt reccomend it as a blind buy, the smell is extremley strong and you will DIE, if you use it during any other season, besides the winter and even then DO NOT overspray. High qualty tabbaco/ leather smell great at this price point i love layering it with tonka cola, it smells super good. beware of the caps they re very easy to break and it really messesd with the atomizers.

I did a full day wearing of this scent. I really really enjoyed this fragrance from top to bottom. The one thing that stands out to me is the oud and the saffron. They’re both more present than in its predecessor. The oud is almost sharp, and it’s a woodsy type. It makes this fragrance more masculine. To me this is a lot different than the original in a way that it’s the Layton Exclusif, to the original Layton.

Despite the fact that I don't always agree with @JusttheFactsMan, I 100% concur with his assessment here. I personally love the OG, but this is a perfect example of a flanker or 'intense' version truly done correctly. Even if not in overall power, the well-roundedness of this iteration makes the OG pretty obsolete IMHO. I have a decant now, but will probably rehome my OG and pick this one up. Really enjoy this.

This is a great fragrance imo. Despite the name, this is definitely NOT a more intense version of the og red tobacco. This is a less 'in-your-face', smoother, and more subtle take on the og red tobacco. Though this smells more elegant than the og red tobacco, I must say that I still prefer the og over the intense ever so slightly (the og is just so charming in such a bizzare way). 9.6/10 imo

Like the original, this is STRONG. One spray lasts all day and continues to project into the night. And speaking of projection, the scent bubble that this creates smells amazing. However, it does not smell so wonderful on skin until late dry down, somewhat like an ultra-concentrated product with "extended release" of scent molecules. Once the late dry down arrives...this becomes sublime.

Wow! Strong is an understatement. Stuff smells amazing and projects like crazy. I get more of a vintage pipe tobacco aroma from this more than cigar. The leather notes are strong but nicely smoothed out. When I wear this, I usually get between 12-16 hours out of it and sometimes it even survives a shower and can still be detected on my skin the next day. Crazy voodoo going on here...

I came back to my bottle after about 4 months and DAMNNNN THIS IS GOOODDD. I’ve been buying so many Amouage’s, zoologists, and exploring more artisanal niche brands that I forgot that Mancera has some BANGERS. Intense red tobacco and black prestigium by mancera are up there with the best Amouage’s. I’m not even lying (if the quality was a tad bit higher though)

Delicious and eternal. Much more tolerable than the original RT imo. One of the rare instances where my girlfriend and I are on the exact same page regarding fragrances on myself. As everybody and their mother has noted, spray with caution. I'll corroborate some points made in the reviews just below me: if used aptly, this fragrance simply oozes sex appeal.

Beautiful, classy, and sexy if you play it right. To me the OG straight up evokes an expensive humidor, this is more complex and less on the nose. More leathery and less fruity, and lacking the pungent "cherry medicine" thing on the open that I didn't love with the OG. The oud is less front and center, achieving a nice harmony with the tobacco.

A VERY masculine piece here. An artistic one, nevertheless. Oud, leather, cherry-like lobacco. The opening smells like a red cinnamon candy you would find in a free candy bowl at an office. Delicious. As it's drying down, the leather and tobacco slip in. Maybe even a bit of the vanilla. Then the drydown is pure art. Tobacco, Oud, And Vanilla.

I’m a fresher guy. I love citrus, melon, youthful, clean scents. This is, obviously, not that... but I love it. It’s dark and mysterious yet sweet and approachable. It projects at an arms length for a few hours. 5-6 ish. In that tight scent bubble you are the king. It’s a beast!!! 10/10 for me. I’m so happy for late fall/winter with this.

Great, but it's a neutered version of Red Tobacco in my humble opinion. The performance is good, but not comparable to its daddy. The leather note adds a bit more class vs the OG. I prefer the sweetness of the OG though overall. I'd buy Maison Alhambra's Exclusif Tabac above this, it's 4 times cheaper and very close to it. 8.75/10

This is really great. Wow I think for my nose and skin this is beter then Boss Absolu. It becomes fruity in the drydown. Smells alot like Cedrat Boise Intense without the citrus notes in the drydown. 9.5 out of 10 This is a must have in the serious man collection. Not unisex at all. Very muscular. Especially in the beginning.

In my top 2 favorite scents of all time. This is fantastic stuff and to me way better than the og. This one is more refined than rt and a lot smoother. I can smell the tobacco more in this than the og as well. I will say they shouldn't have called this intense red tobacco because it isn't as intense as the og.

I'm dumbfounded how this has lower scores than the og red tobacco. This is better in every sense. More refined, smoother, I don't go noseblind to this either and I do with the og. I go back and forth between this and royal tobacco on which one is my favorite. This is the best mancera in my opinion. 10/10.
