Roseaoud & Musc

Very nice! Although not my favorite rose-oud fragrance from Mancera, I find it to be a more subtle, toned-down, and well-behaved than many of Mancera's beastly rose-oud combos. But don't be fooled into thinking this perfume doesn't perform well because I still get a solid 10-hours and above-average projection on my skin. Being a huge lover of Mancera perfumes ,and having more than twenty bottles in my weaponized Scent Armory,, what sets Roseoud & Musc apart from other Mancera rose-oud offerings is a noticeable jasmine note along with, what I perceive, is a hint of neroli giving this fragrance a slightly more feminine edge to it - still unisex, but I prefer others in the Mancera lineup such as Black to Black, The Aoud, Aoud Line and Black Intensitive Aoud since they, like me, are a bit rougher around the edges. All in all...very nice and, as an added bonus, my girlfriend liked it and didn't give me her, "smells like Band-aids" quip whenever she smells full-flavored oud perfumes. Overall, Roseoud & Musc is an excellent fragrance and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it but, in the end, it's just not a love connection. Onward to sampling Red Tobacco, Black Gold and Gold Prestigium. Cheers!

I have been checking out various rose oud fragrances and enjoyed them all, but then this gem showed up in my mail and I was in love head over heels at first sniff. This is a unicorn fragrance for me, scratching that illusive itch to find a rose oud fragrance that entrances. On its most basic level it is a spicy rose fragrance--but to call it such makes your mind wander to OGs like Opium. However, here there is no sharp noted spices--here the spice notes are warm, rich and smooth mixed with a somewhat medicinal quality (the oud I imagine). The opening is a sweet satiny rose blended with a new leather note that transmogrifies to a medicinal bandaid note to a metallic note and back again, a journey that is truly delightful. The dry down is where this fragrance shifts from a unisex scent to more feminine one as the slightly soapy rose scent is joined with a hint of jasmine and the warmth of sandalwood and musk. Its like wearing a luxurious cozy sweater while sipping a pinot noir by the fireplace on solstice night. Definitely try this one--it is a bargain from fragrancenet and it is truly a wonderful fragrance.

This perfume is just wonderful! Opens up very spicy, almost foody spicy, with a strong note of turmeric among some other spices. The oud note is medicinal and strong in the opening, and the rose is on the fresher side (it becomes sweeter afterwards, but never powdery or thick). After a couple of minutes turmeric goes away and I smell mainly rose, sandalwood and oud with a hint of saffron, - a classic combination. I cannot say that I feel any jasmine here, but it's probably because all the notes are very well blended together. The musk I do feel, and it's clean and smooth. The oud note here is slightly smoky, deep, but transparent, not heavy. Lovely lovely perfume! And a friendly one. A bit sharp in the opening, but easy to wear later on. Certainly on the top of the roses and oud genre.

Very nice fragrance, deeper than its cousin "black oud from Montale". The rose and oud are there with additional musk, as described in the name of this perfume. There is a mix of black and white musk. Black musk gives it an animalistic edge, more prominent at the beginning, and later on the white musk kicks in giving it a clean soapy feel. Very nice combination. Excellent for rose lovers who want something more complex than the usual rose oud combo perfumes. It feels more masculine becuase of the musk notes too. I am on a rose-oud sniffing experiment at the moment, so will be comparing more of these in due time. So far I have sampled Black oud, Noir de noir, Gold rose oud, rose aoud and musk, Aseel. Clean but slightly spicy rose/oud combo. Safe entry for oud novices. I let mine macerate for a month which made the rose & spicy notes more prominent. 🥰The saffron & jasmine are great complimentary notes. This has enough versatility to be worn year round no matter the occasion. 👍🏾 Has grown from like to love & mega appreciation for its longevity & sillage. I get 8+ hours with it before it becomes a skin scent. 😊 Very adjacent to Montale Attar. 7/4/23: I paired this with Jo Malone Rose Blush & we have a winner. RB tames the astringency of the oud & magnifies the rose note...sweetening it up considerably. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoy this fragrance in hot weather strangely enough because its beast mode may be found unsuitable by some in the heat. The opening is quite medicinal, which I don't mind, but once this dries down it settles into a spicy and powdery rose. The trail is crazy also. I really enjoy the oud in this, it's quite well balanced and not overpowering. This was my first Mancera and a blind buy. Lucky to have fallen in love with it. I'd caution against overspraying!

The musclle is real! Rose mulled with saffron and jasmine waxes an hedonistic nectar accord that is intoxicatingly sweet. Spices heighten the warmth, like flint sparks, from the wintery fur bundle of musk. Beautiful and reminiscent of attar ensconced spaces. Glints of golden dawn peak through stone carved buttresses as fawns prance upon snowcrest fields in lands of The Roses.

Mancera has several that smell very similar to each other. This smells similar to both gold aouds. Great scent but performance is a bit toned down when compared to those 2. I'll give it an 8/10. Leans a touch feminine. The rose is definitely more prominent than the oud and the oud is a more western oud.

This one is a beauty. I bought this for my own collection but my father smelled it and went all Gollum on it and took it as his "precious". Never saw the bottle again (though I can smell it when he wears it).

This is a lovely, clean-but-spicy, rosy scent. The oud is strong at first, but settles down. The white musk base and jasmine give it a lighter olfactory weight than many rose-ouds when it has fully dried down. Overall, this is very approachable and pleasant, IMO. I suspect the batch I have is a little tamer than what others have because the sillage and performance aren't as aggressive as I was expecting. Other Mancera fragrances in my collection are more beastly. That's not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you may want as a wearer. Once I run out, I probably won't purchase it again, as I have other rose-ouds I like a bit better. However, if you need this type of scent for your collection, and you're wary of more "offensive" ouds, give this one a try. (Also Fragrancenet has it in travel-size decants if you want a serious sample first.)

This is a stunner and really lives up to its name. I have Roses Greedy and Roses Jasmine that smell nothing like their names but this is indeed Rose, oud and musk! The scent itself is alluring, sexy and perfectly unisex. I would love to smell it on a guy, therefore, I will decant some of it for my boyfriend. On myself, I found mixing it with Wild Roses Aoud to be a perfect match. Although even on its own it is a love for me! It’s actually a really nice scent but there’s a chemically almost chlorine type smell lingering somewhere inside it which reminds me of the swimming baths, once I noticed that smell I then couldn’t unnotice it, and this spoils what otherwise is a really nice fragrance.

Sweet, synthetic rose oud; like a middle eastern cheapy but without the rubbery accord. A touch of musk with depth and accents. Gets weak quick. I’d prefer a small bottle of this unisex gem to 15 large bottles of cheap lattafa-like rose based knock-offs.

This is identical to Montale attar which I own don't understand why one scent is being sold in 2 different brands??? If anyone knows??? What's going on here???

All I can say about this perfume is that it's just about ok. It was a blind buy and it wasn't what I thought it would be, after reading on here beforehand. The scent itself is quite average, if you're into Arabic rose oud types. It's blended quite nicely and I think the saffron boosts it. It leans towards being a bit synthetic. There are similar on the market, that last longer than it. As for the longevity and sillage, I don't get what others are smelling. The scent disappears on my skin within 2 hours and while it's often a problem, I've had cheaper choices last longer. It disappears from my clothes in about 4-5 hours. People can't smell it on me, so it appears I'm not becoming anosmic to it. I don't know whether it's a batch issue, but the performance is genuinely really disappointing, especially for this style of scent and the price point.

Oudhy and chique fragrance, which is very comparable to the intensitive black and gold from the brand. It’s unisex and can be weared all year around <25 degrees. This can be a signature scent just like the other two intensitive aouds.

Roseaoud & Musc is very close to perfection in a bottle. This is one of the best spicy roses I've ever smelled — imagine pulling rose petals and sprinkle them on a spice bowl. Agarwood is in the background, it never steals the scene but is definitely there, perhaps in a vaguely potpourri sort of way. Jasmine adds sweetness, a dry gorgeous sweetness. Deep & irresistible — I am mad about this perfume. Longevity is great, about 10/12 hours, out of which 5 with strong projection. On garments it lasts forever and can fill an entire closet. Side remark — I would have named it Roseaoud&Safran or Roseaoud&Épices. The first time I smelled it I couldn't help but think about the installation Campo de Color ❤ ••• Christmas 2017 update: right now I'm wearing Roseaoud&Musc and almost one year later I don't like it anymore. I used to love it but something has changed. Possibly it's me...

Not sure what has gone wrong here but for me, this scent smells very synthetic and I can't wear it all day. I was really disappointed after ordering a small sample on ebay but it's not for me, sadly.

I received Roseaoud & Musc as a sample with the purchase of another Mancera fragrance. The first time I wore it, I immediately fell in lust. Wow. Now THIS is SEXY. It's the fragrance you know you shouldn't wear, but you just can't help it. Consequences... what consequences? The classy Mancera aoud is the main note, followed by a muted yet sultry rose with a lick of musk. The sandalwood & saffron refine the perfume with a subtle creamy twist however it's the jasmine that backs up the entire fragrance giving it a champagne sparkle. Last but certainly NOT least - a very delightful dash of spice gives Roseaoud & Musc a SUPER SEXY kick & an animalistic twist. Nothing is overpowering, including the aoud making this a wonderfully well blended fragrance. Roseaoud & Musc is an AMAZING scent. Perfect for any season, lovely in Winter but also Summer. This is Unisex in my opinion & personally I would certainly find it sexy on a man. Some men may find hearing that it has jasmine a little daunting but due to the spice it would 100% work on a man very well.. Vice versa, men would definitely find it sexy on a woman. You know, I have hardly had any compliments on Roseaoud & Musc but, I suppose I mainly wear it to work so perhaps they don't want to mention it. But, you know what - I don't care. I know I smell good. :D I bought the 120ml bottle & love wearing it. Would I buy it again? Yes, but lets face it, this bottle will last me forever so another Mancera would be in my sights.

A lovely ROSE/spice/ FLORAL fragrance with captivating Oud, clothing the wearer with poise, ambiance, and much delight! Ooooo la la... Roseaoud & Musc has a mighty punch when struck. Rosy with spices sitting in the background. This is from the Saffron, Agarwood, and Sandalwood. The Rosy, combined with the Jasmine and White Musk is very much in your face as the spices come around. Again, a very distinct rose with the musk following very close behind. This is very reminiscent of Aoud Sandroses; (I mean VERY similar; I mean like I sprayed Roseaoud & Musc and thought I sprayed Aoud Sandroses similar). [Now, different from that of Amouage Lyric's rose note. As we know, Amouage is in a category of its own, yet Mancera's intense rose fragrances are being done very very well.] Similarities/differences between AoudSandroses, Roseaoud & Musc, and Gold Intensitive Aoud. IMO..... Roseaoud & Music is more of a dry floral, oud rose scent. AoudSandroses-is a much more spicier rose, even creamy. Gold Intensitive Aoud is a lighter and much sweeter oud rose fragrance. These are all nice and unique in their own right. Some might fine Roseaoud & Musc leaning more feminine, however, I think it is unisex all the way due to the musk. Great silage, great projection, and great longevity. A must have in one's wardrobe.

Unfortunately this was a bust for me! I have read several glowing reviews of Mancera's Roseaoud & Musc, how it is a rose and musk scent that lasts for hours and how the musk lasts and lasts, how the safron blends with the rose... I received my bottle yesterday and I'm very very disappointed. The rose was fleeting, the Aoud was non-existent, and the musk was very low voltage to say the least. The rose literally lasted about 9 minutes before dying down to a skin scent. I own about 11 other bottles of Mancera's perfumes and have no complaints whatsoever. Black to Black is amazing, Wild Cherry too. Sand Aoud is like nothing else I have ever smelled. Black Gold is a stunning recreation of men's colognes from the 70's only much much better. Red Tobacco and Cedrat Boise are both go-to frags for me too. Aoud Vanille and Aoud Cafe too. So it is with disappointment that I say Roseaoud & Musc is just a big nothing. It's possible that I received a bad bottle, or it's a boot-leg imitator. Who knows? I was originally going to purchase Roses Vanille, but I went with Roseaoud & Musc. One of my criteria for buying perfume is that it is long lasting and powerful. This Roseaoud just isn't.

Sexy, spicy, oriental to the bone. This is Wisal with a stronger Oud note. And it is magnificent! It starts very spicy and overtime the rose and Oud develop beautifully, its like a barnyard full of roses with a sprinkle of Saffron and Jasmine. Spray it on you and you will find going back for more, its like being with a sensuous and very erotic lover. Hugely aromatic, very deep and with an enormous sillage añd longevity. Best of all is the fact that it is true to its Arabic roots and inspiration, quite heavy and pungent but utterly sexy and addictive. I would like to explore more of this gorgeous line. Glad to own a bottle of this very alluring juice.

Got this 60ml bottle and I must say this scent is heavenly. I thought it would be too feminine but it's equally unisex. As a man who love rose scents this is amazing. The Oud helps the rose blend well with the saffron and Jasmine notes creating this elegant atmosphere. Scent-9 Longevity-10 Projection-9 Silage-8 Affordability-8 Overall- MUST BUY!!

Basic rose-oud-saffron combination with added spices. I am not crazy about this one. First of all, like most ouds from Mancera line, I find it to be too sweet. Second, spices in this mix don't smell that great to my nose. I actually got a little nauseous. Peculiar smelling fragrance. Definite must try before buying.

This is another favourite from Mancera for me. It has a definite echo of Armani's Rose d'Arabie, but yet it is still distinguishable. Perhaps most would consider this an evening fragrance, but it can certainly work for daytime too- it all depends on the confident lady or gentleman wearing it.

Finally a Rose/Oud perfume that works in the summertime. The bandaid smelling oud dissipates within 30 minutes to leave a lovely rose/oud/floral spice delight. One of the best out there....especially for summer use.

Scent - saffron & rose musk. Season/Time of Day - I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night. Projection - I did get noticed, I didn't get a compliment. Longevity - I get 8hrs consistently.

Reminds me of monotherme rose oud however mancera roseaoud and musk has a strong cumin note. Dare I say the dry down is a slightly better version of the body shops rose oud.

Hi lulubaba.plz may I know which one is closer to Armani rosed'arabia , Roseaud Musk Mancera or Voyage en Arabie Gold Intensive Aoud by Mancera 120ml Eau de Parfum. Thanks

Very well put together, the Aoud is dominant in a balanced way with the other ingredients.

Similar to al-Rehab Sharquiah. I wonder if one is a clone of the other.
