Mancera Sicily I was fortunate enough to obtain a sample of this fragrance, and I can't help but want to share my experience. This is one of the best openings I have ever smelled in a fragrance. It smells as if you've entered a fresh and bright citrus fruit orchard. I detected grapefruit, bergamot, peach almost immediately, and also, lemon, even though it's not listed as an official note. Not sure if the combined notes can give off a lemon/lime vibe, too but whatever the case, it's SO beautiful. I definitely picked up a powdery lemony grapefruit vibe as it started to dry down with a very bright, fresh and fruity background. As it completely dried down and you're entering the mid, the musk and florals start to come out but the grapefruit is still dominant, supported by the other fruits. The rose starts mixing with the citrus in an intoxicating twist as the opening starts to fade and the mid takes center stage. The initial blast of citrus starts to fade a bit although it's still got a very fruity and fresh vibe. The jasmine and violet start to come out more as the mid takes full dominance and the base of woods and musk slowly gain ground. The citrusy/rose combo becomes less intense but still prominent. As you flow through to the base, the fruitiness fades to just a faint background as the musk starts blending with the florals. The jasmine and violet start weaving in with the musk and the rose starts fading behind them. The woody notes start then to support the musky florals and the fruitiness fades almost completely. The floral aspects and woods start to blend and the fruit starts making a bit of a comeback in the background, so it retains this fresh quality through the life of the fragrance. Testing this out was quite an exhilarating experience. I have never smelled anything this fresh before. It is the most natural smelling "fruity freshie" I have ever smelled. It is so well blended. I could not stop smelling my arm where I had sprayed the sample. The only problem is that the opening is so amazing that I wanted to keep respraying it to experience the opening again. I am in love with this fragrance. This is the first Mancera fragrance I've had the opportunity to smell and sample and I must get a bottle. It is really that beautiful. Although it does lean a bit feminine, I feel as though it is still very wearable for a man. Smell : 10/10 Longevity : 8/10 Sillage : 8/10 Overall : 9.5/10 I know that math doesn't add up, it should be overall 8.7/10 based on the scores but the SMELL is always most important, and for that reason, it gets bonus points because this one is really out of this world.

Love at first sniff! On par on quality MFK Aqua Vitae Forte(my most favorite freshie and an outstanding house for me). Smells really an expensive freshie. With high quality florals. Non pungent but vibrant citrus fruits. Maybe one of the best fresh perfumes that I have tried this year. Good thing it doesn't smell like soap and it smells like a lemon oil rather than lemon juice which really sets it apart from other freshies. Smells like a mish mash of fruits extract and florals. Jasmine and Ylang ylang is the backbone of this perfume. This is similar vibe to jour d hermes. unisex leaning at bit feminine. It has that fresh and elegant sillage. This does not smell like typical citrus cologne but rather a citrus perfume. I can definitely detect high quality jasmine and ylang ylang in the dry down, they might have done a same process of enfleurage with TF Champaca Absolute(yellow floral), or Aqua universalis forte(white floral), Rose Absolue(red floral). It has that potent aroma of a flowers, but this one instead of being pungent, it is rounded with fruits and high quality(meaning it does not smell designer synthetics) lemon and bergamot oil. It's definitely high quality(except the slightest hint of the Mancerian peach note :D). I'm thinking of adding ice and sugar to this and drink it, it is that juicy. and it last and last. :)

I absolutely love this fragrance! This is my type of fragrance 100%. As a lover of fruity-sweet fragrances this one owns my heart. This was a blind buy from few reviews and the very first bottle from Mancera brand, and I would say that this is a safe buy if you like this type of fragrances too. The top notes open up strongly with mandarin and a bit of a bitter grapefruit that also blends very nicely with bergamot and peach (although peach here is very smooth and almost unnoticeable). Then after one minute the middle notes come up with ylang-ylang and a bit of jasmine that makes this fragrance more equilibrated and appealing, feminine and agreeable. I don't feel very much the violet and rose which is good. The amount of floral notes is just perfect here in my opinion. And in the base notes I feel mostly woodiness that gives this fragrance a very good base and depth. It has a good longevity about 3-4 hours and an average silage. Generally speaking, it has a fruity not overly sweet vibe. I'd say very good for spring, summer and maybe hot autumn. It is a day fragrance good for office too. Inoffensive, fruity, soapy, long-lasting, summer fragrance, with good quality ingredients.

A splash of fresh mandarines and grapefruits!!!! This is such an uplifting and happy "mood" type of scent, wow! I loved it at first spray. The opening is a sunny warm day by the sea, you get the citrus and the sweet but fresh clean parts come and go in the meantime, is a loud opening and very bold, but do not panic it is not like that for ever, after 15min you would start feeling the jasmine and the ylang ylang very soft and well mixed. This is a tropical/warm/sunny weather fragrance, the fresh wind and the nice warm temperatures would boost this fruity notes to the maximum! Once this dry is a new slightly sweet musky perfume, I really like that part, because it works amazing for the night time like if suddenly you just put on a new perfume, perfect. Silage is of course incredible, I mean is Mancera so... you know how good they perform, projection is strong but nothing offensive! I am getting a big bottle because this perfume is really well balanced in the notes and fragrance style I enjoy. If you are not into strong citrus/musky scents I suggest you to sample it first. but blind buying this is completely safe in my opinion, a perfume this beautiful can't never go wrong.

Hear me out: citrus might be the note in fragrances that I dislike even hate the most and I usually run away from citrusy perfumes as far as I can, probably because it reminds me of dish soap, floor detergent and all kind of cleaning products (almost all products dedicated to cleaning in my household were and still are citrus scented because my mom loves it)...but Sicily from Mancera smells DIVINE ! While trying out several Mancera perfumes at my mall (in particular to compare Rose Gourmand from Zara and Roses Vanille), this one just kissed my nose! Wow. It's Limoncello liqueur but in a perfume. A homemade lemonade with real lemons, on the rocks and sweet. I detect the brightness and sweetness of Ylang Ylang and Pineapple in the back; and I think this is why I am not running away. So bright and fresh, perfect for summer and if you want to smell like an edible cocktail. On my wish list because it was love at first snif. As citrus is really not my cup of tea usually, I still hesitate to purchase it but this is a scent I will remember.

Nomen Omen Il "Sicily" di Mancera, secondo il mio modesto parere, ha un solo difetto e quel difetto sta nel proprio nel suo nome. Mi spiego meglio. In realtà, se questa fragranza si fosse chiamata ... che so ... "Arabian Sicily" (per citare la più famosa "Tonka" dello stesso naso profumiere), immagino che avrebbe reso perfettamente l'idea di quello che monsieur Pierre Montale desiderava rappresentare. È vero, questa non è la Sicilia dei limoni e delle arance, la Sicilia di Tormina o Cefalù. È un'altra Sicilia, è una Sicilia araba (e, perché no?, normanna), una Sicilia in cui islam e cristianesimo convivono nella stessa terra, una Sicilia fatta di mandarini e ananas, di gelsomini e rose ... una Sicilia ben visibile a Palermo, tra i palazzi della Zisa e della Cuba o a Mazara del Vallo, nella sua affascinante Kasbah e in tutti i luoghi in cui gli arabi hanno messo radici. Per me rimane uno straordinario agrumato orientale, un orientale unisex che, non appena annusato, mi ha evocato la mia amatissima isola conquistata dai mori.

PLEASE dont listen to these people saying it smells like a cleaning solution (maybe very very slighty). I don't know what fragrance there smelling but it ain't this. I was about to refund my order because of those reviews but I am glad I didn't. It does lean feminine maybe cause its a little fruity, but as young man I definitely feel like I can pull this off. Its perfect for the summer, because of the very clean fruity feel it has. I don't really like ylang-ylang in my fragrances but isn't very heavy in this fragrance, just the right amount. Out of the four I own this might be my 2nd favourite, I own cedrat boise, instant crush, aoud lemon mint, and this. I have also smelled more from the brand and feel like the reviews on this platform don't do it justice, every review on youtube I see postive reviews but for some reason on here people are hating on it. Its probably Mancera haters or fragrance snobs so don't listen to them and get it. Better than French Rivera in my opinion, which I also owned before.

After a couple years looking for this perfume, I finally got it and here's the verdict of my experience. This perfume is like Kenzo Homme EDP version; meaning that it performs awsomely at 90o weather, so it's a beast of a fragrance during hot summer days only. Seriously, try to spray it during a very hot weather and a chill temperature. This is a citrousy bomb so, when I spray all I get is a mix of orange with jasmin and then, when it dries down, the peach, grapefruit and pineapple pops up in tandem and, after a big while, all I can wiff is the citrousy mix with jasmin and musk. This juice is really appropriate for daylight outings with friends, a little brunch with family and it's inoffensive to wear in the office, in my opinion. The performance of the fragrance on my skin lasted me 8 to almost 9 hours and that's it. Also, the projection is quite nice people can smell it without being too close to you. By the way, I have the newest batch of Sicily, the cap is magnetic which is better and screw cap.

The opening is an explosion of juicy, sweet Amalphi lemon rounded out with grapefruit, citrus, jasmine and musk. Not a particularly complex fragrance but fresh and uplifting. The dry down is linear except the musk takes up more space while the full lemon accord diminishes into a standard sweet citrus. Didn't love it on first spray but after wearing it for a week I rather love it. As with all freshies, it may smell of cleaning products to your nose so sample before purchasing. In terms of Mancera's Mediterranean fragrances I've tried thus far (French Riviera, Soliel d'Italie, and Melody of the Sun), this one is second in performance after French Riviera. I've discovered that Mancera struggles from the inherent challenges of warm weather fragrances as Sicily is a decent performer but modest compared to the brand's overall reputation. The performance is a downer, especially for the brand but still worth a try. Not sure if this one is full bottle worthy but sampling is recommended.

Sicily is absolutely divine! 10/10 fragrance and one I have a backup bottle for out of my 70+ frag collection. Starts off with a burst of citrus and fruits, like a fresh tropical lemonade, breezy, and uplifting. It does have a soapy clean feel to it, but not like a cleaning product. It smells like when you walk in to a 5 star hotel/casino in Las Vegas. It transports you immediately to your vacation on the beach or a very nice outdoor sunny plaza. Longevity is 12+ hrs with about 10 sprays, projection is medium. It is unisex and very very slightly feminine leaning but it is very appropriate for a straight man to wear. I wore it to work the other day and layered it with a few sprays of JHAG Pear Inc and got 5 compliments that night. I worked a 12hr shift and I still got a compliment from someone I've never met whilst in the elevator. Overall it is a very fun and playful fragrance that will make you feel good when wearing it. It will make you feel like you're on vacation.

I get a huge burst of bright, juicy fruit notes, with the kind of intense sweet-tartness that makes your tastebuds ache. This is underlaid by soapy-yet-elegant florals. There's also quite a bit of greenness to Sicily; a crisp, zesty greenness, somewhere between herbaceous and pomelo green. It gets soapier and less juicy as it dries down, but remains crisp and fresh throughout. It smells like if Jolly Rancher produced a 'new Tropical Citrus flavor!' and you were rolling one around in your mouth, feeling it click against your teeth, as you handwashed sudsy laundry in the backyard on a sunny summer day. I kind of love it. It's definitely not subtle, nor is it particularly sophisticated, but oh my god, it's so saturated and energetic; bursting with summertime joie de vivre. It makes me want to blast Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift, host a bunch of fun parties, and tie-dye t-shirts with my friends in the backyard or something.

I marvel at the expert noses that not all generations of Guerlain do it justice, "that if this fragrance is very synthetic or that if it smells of bath freshener . The fragrances of Montale and Mancera are totally synthetic as well as many other brands such as Thomas Kosmala, especially this Sicily is one of its best achieved fresh fragrances the opening is bright, fruity, that invites to smell and conveys joy, the note of jasmin is quite prominent and I think it is the one that can feel many pulling the feminine side, but as a friend said that sad life without flowers, and this perfume is perfectly unisex. For all those who don't like to stop repeating like parrots words that they hear from any pseudo-influencer, that the vast majority of perfumes are pure chemical aromas and olfactory molecules, or do they still think that poppy has some smell?

One of my favorite citrus fragrances, without a doubt. It smells like a real, juicy orange instead of a generic citrus accord, which makes it incredibly refreshing and natural. I love wearing it on its own, but I use it even more for layering. Whenever a fragrance needs more brightness, a juicy citrus burst, or a little extra sparkle, this is what I reach for. It’s amazing with Velvet Vanilla (honestly, the only way I enjoy wearing Velvet Vanilla for now), and it also works beautifully with Prada Paradoxe and Kayali Eden Juicy Apple. It’s wonderful by itself, but what makes it truly special is the way it adds a realistic, mouthwatering juiciness to so many other perfumes. This is one fragrance that will always have a place in my collection.

I wonder if the people who mention bananas and soap are actually wearing Sicily by D&G and not by Mancera. Anyway, I would consider this fragrance a crowd pleaser. It suffers a little bit from the Mancera thing where the fragrance is strong enough but pretty one dimensional. I get the top and middle notes at the same time and there's little development for several hours until the musk remains. I found myself craving way more of the bitter citruses and way less of the floral notes. As far as I'm concerned this wants to be an orange peel and grapefruit fragrance. It would have been better that way. In any regards, I do really like it, thankfully the rose note isn't overpowering or I might have hated it.

This reminded me some of Acqua Di Parma's Blu Med line. Particularly Chinotto di Liguria, because the citruses are so bright, fresh, and juicy. The difference is unlike the ADP Blu Med line, this one lasts long because it's a Mancera and that's what Mancera does. I get really fresh bright oranges, freshly picked. I can see how some get pineapple or peach as well. Also the jasmine and just a really lovely white floral. A lot of guys might feel this is too feminine. I feel this is really right down that line of unisex, good for any gender who loves citrus and floral scents. And again, Mancera knows how to create a beast fragrance. The price of Mancera compared to performance makes it a good value.

There is no way that Banana is not a f**king note in this !! I smell the orange- its amazing. The Ylang-ylang is good and then all i get is earthy banana peel. I wore this for a week straight thought it was just a sort of soapy Ylang, but then the familiarity hit- it smells like a photo-realistic ripe banana with the peel. I am impressed with the fact that the orange and Banana smells so realistic (if that is even what they were going for) but i don't want to walk around smelling like a banana lol (Not offense if you do). That being said; when i wore it the longevity was amazing, as with most Mancera fragrances. Its still a very nice fragrance for the right person

I had a tester of this and i absolutely loved it. Sweet and bitter orange that dries down to a nice clean scent- not a typical Mancera. However, when i bought a bottle it must have been the pre-reformulation (Screw-on cap) because it just wasnt the same. The reformulation seemed sweeter and soapier while the pre-formulation seems waxy and reminds me of sunscreen lotion. I assume this would work well in the summer, blended with light tropical notes from sunscreen. The pre-formulation smells much more like a realistic orange than the reformulation though. (This is my major issue with Macera Fragrances- theyre not consistent in nearly every sample ive tried)

Wow! Pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting to love Sicily this much because of the "eh" reviews. This is an absolutely fabulous, rich, bursting juicy fragrance.. I'm getting strong nectarine, raspberry, and juicy mandarin notes.. Very juicy and citrusy without being girlish, sweet, or sour-- which is hard to come by as a juicy frag lover. Just a nice, relatively linear uncomplicated expensive smelling fruit fragrance. Only thing I wish for this fragrance is for it to have a vanilla dry down. That would round it out for true magic. I love it though, I will try to layer with a linear vanilla Mancera.

This is not a fragrance I would have even spent money on for a tester. That many fruity notes would have caused me to turn my eyes away immediately, so I am very grateful that I got a sample for free because I REALLY enjoy this scent. It smells like sitting in an orange grove underneath a trellis of jasmine flowers with the wind of a perfectly un-humid summer day blowing through the grove. Plenty of orange peel scent with a perfect, non-cloying jasmine. This is very well-balanced and a great spring and summer perfume. I will definitely be spraying it a lot the next couple of months.

BEST CITRUS FRAGRANCE IN THE GAME.!! Sweet, candy, a bit floral, sexy peach! DAMN.!! 🔥 This was my 2nd Mancera fragrance...I have this baby for 3 years now, and i still remember that I was blown away from the first spritz.! Yeah, I totally agree that leans more on the feminine side but I don't care AT ALL.. Perfect for the summer time, day or night! Oh, not to mention the longevity and the sillage, BEAST MODE..!!(I have the older batch)Easily 10+ hours on my skin.! I wear this and I feel so confident, cause I know that I smell diferent from anyone else around me!! 💪🏻

Blind buy , I live in Florida and want a sleu of summertime scents since most of the year is hot. I have blue scents, florals, and citrus freshies and this one caught my eye. This is my 3rd mancera and doesn't disappoint. I feel this is a dumb reach fragrance. I'm in love with the opening and the dry down is nice as well. The fruits dry down to a more floral fragrance but it is very nice and stronger than my other floral fruity fragrances. The atomizer is very nice and sprays better than my aoud lemon mint and French Riviera bottle. It is pressurized.

This is a nice fresh, juicy fruity scent! It was super strong citrus on my skin for the first few hours but then it calmed down into a lovely sweet, fruity musk that was really well balanced. This lasted forever on my skin so that was very impressive. I think this is totally unisex! I'd love to smell this on a male. For me the floral notes are very quiet in this, though I do get the jasmine. It's winter right now so I do feel like it'd be a bit much to wear all day during this weather but I feel this will become a strong favourite during the summer :)

Orange Fanta in a perfume bottle. Or sipping orange Fanta lemonade in blooming garden in Italy. Very sparkling and effervescent in the opening, smelling literally like juicy orange Fanta, plus florals. As it dries down it trades fresh sparkly citruses to more sweet nuances of fruity and musky base with also quite a bit of jasmine and violet, giving it slight, slight powdery, soapy touch. Really youthful, playful and happy fragrance, with absolutely sublime and mouth watering opening.

I had a sample of this and it was bright and dried down to a nice soapy smell, so i bought a bottle- batch no 21d118b/i and it smells, not as bright and much more earthy. im not sure which scent profile i like more though. I also found the same type of inconsistency with a bottle of Instant Crush i bought, it seems *not as strong*- like the notes were slightly altered from the sample. I really enjoy this house but because i value consistency i may have to stick to designer brands

It's hilarious that people judge Mancera just by the name when if they were doing a blind test, we all know they'd rate it significantly higher. This smells like fruits, flowers, and musk in a very pleasing way. Totally unisex, imo. Not only that, it performs exceptionally well like most from this house. Now, if these accords don't suit you, that's understandable. Not everyone likes everything. If they do, though....this is definitely worth sampling for a little while.

This was my first full bottle niche perfume. My fav scent is always a citrus heavy. In my bedroom, living room, toilet freshner or car freshner, its always citrus based. This one opens up with heavy fresh citrus that I can imagine with a lil touch of sweet juicy from peach that balance it all. The drydown doesnt have much different but the ylang ylang really last long than I thought. Worth to blind buy even it falls a lil feminine but hey everyone has different taste.

Great sexy citrus summer scent... In the vein of D&G light blue intense for women but not the same scent. It is Moschino Toy 2 on steroids). It is like a citrusy yet sweet, fruity and creamy in the background, I prefer it over Mancera lemon line. Very refreshing and sexy in the summer. Carefree scent that will get attention. It is very unisex and any age can pull it off. Performance is great for a citrus. I will be getting a bottle, I love such scents.

If you've ever had a japanese popsicle called "Gari Gari Kun", this is bascially how it smells like + some clean white musk soap/shampoo quality. The fruits in here is like a combination that you can find in a blue syrup that dress on top of ice, so yeah it's perfect for summer for sure. It's cheerful, fun, soothing and safe fragrance. I find it leans toward feminine side in the dry down as it reminds of a nice bottle of soap/shampoo.

A more complex and well rounded scent compared to Light Blue. This is more citrus based but very pretty! I can see this being unisex but leans a little more on the female side. I wish I bought this sooner because this works so well in the high heat. Lasts so long too. I am definitely going to layer this with sweeter/ vanilla fragrance while transitioning into fall. If you don't like citrus/ fruity scents, this is not for you.

I used to just OK/like this/not care about this fragrance much. But as of late, all the usual, big niche houses come up with some citrus/aquatic takes that smell like uninspired versions of this one, that aren't any better and they charge 2x 3x sometimes 4x more for theirs. So now, I change my "just like" to LOVE, since this really is good going back to it. Mancera was ahead of the trend, when they released this in 2016.

Frankly I don’t think this fragrance gets enough credit. To me this has some striking similarities with LV Meteore. I can see the juiciness that people are talking about, but I would have to really set my mind to distinguishing those notes. Overall it is a very clean and palatable scent that is hard to go wrong with. That being said, it leans slightly more unisex than Meteore.

Gloriously citrus! More, slightly bitter, blood oranges than sugary sweet orange juice. Fresh, sweet (not in a sickly well), and summery, I love it. It also has mild undertones of fresh leaves which gives it a lovely, mild earthiness to it. Has good staying power and makes me smile every time I use it. Got a sample size and now need to save up for a full-sized bottle!

Got this as my signature scent for this summer, i’ve worn it a couple times so far when it’s been warm out, I was skeptical because of the reviews, but honestly, this is beautiful man, soo fresh, citrusy, soapy, clean, and elegant, it does NOT lean feminine imo. Really nice performance for a freshy, literally over 8+ hours with great sillage, you will be noticed!

Splendid, just splendid! Perfect for the spring and summer times. So juicy, fresh, and balanced in sweetness! Voce Viva smells very similar to this, which is lovely to me! From both of these fragrances, I find the Italian bergamot as the most striking note! I guess Voce Viva is a great dupe for Sicily, which I don’t mind in the slightest! 12/10!

As someone who gravitates towards testosterone-labeled scents I bought this as a blind-buy despite references to its feminine nature. I have never been more impressed! This is a wonderful fragrance and totally appropriate for spring and summer. I'm glad I went out of my comfort zone to try this and hope you will give it a try as well.

I got this in a sample set and i finally got the chance to wear it for a full day. wow! This more than reminds me of a bubbly Italian citrus drink in the top notes; in the dry down i find it changes to something incredibly clean smelling in a soapy way, as opposed to a citrusy type of clean. My favorite by Mancera so far

Sicily by Mancera is a wonderful scent. On first spray the opening scent reminds me of a citrus based cleaning product, a bit jarring, sharp, and lemony. The bridge of this cologne whiddles away at the strong opening, a whole bouquet of beautiful florals, the ending serenade is a comforting musk, gentle and warm. 9/10

Great memories associated with this fragrance as I had a sample with me on vacation. The opening is beautiful, imagine a fuzzy peach with citrus. My issue is this doesn't stay unisex. It dries down extremely femme and perfumey. Unfortunate because the opening is so nice that this would've been my summer signature.

Mandarin, Peach and Jasmin. Fresh and playful, like a fruity candy. The first spray was "Nope! I don't like citrus, why do I do this to myself?" but after a few seconds it bloomed to my wishlist, straight away. If you are not a citrus fan, but want to challenge yourself, try this one. I can't get enough!

I got this for me, turns out my wife smells so goddamn nice with it, she smells a sweet, fresh, juicy, tasty... I cannot help myself and hug her and kiss her and smell it, it ́s a very sexy fragrance for women and perfect for those hot summer days with little clothes on

This is really good. Starts out with a strong orange note and dries down floral. The first 15 minutes the sillage is borderline enormous and then as it dries it becomes softer. Longevity is pretty good but isn't beast mode. Definitely an overall good freshie. 8.5/10.

Fresh, citrus with a seamless transition into a fresh clean musk. I think it's great for spring and summer because it's so fresh. Unisex, perhaps slight feminine leaning but absolutely unisex. Personally I feel like this is spring/summer in a bottle.

The first long lasting citrus fragrance that I have ever worn. I bought a full bottle immediately. This is fresh, bright, happy. It’s perfect if you are in a dull, sulky mood. Definitely will lift your spirits and lighten your soul. It’s wonderful!

I really like this one. It is definitely unisex, but leans more on the feminine side of things, but overall good projection. Good smell. I would wear this one even though it's a bit sweeter. I like the smell. Smells fresh and just clean.

For those with no reference or idea of how this may smell, it smells initially like a more refined light blue eau intense for women with a bit more sweetness/fruit, but the dry down deviates towards a more sweet white floral scent.

I wore this for the first time at a festival in the park. I had walk through a group of girls and as I was walking away one of the girls said out loud, "that guy smelled like fresh bananas..." So, there's that.

Projects well; a school crossing guard got a whiff and said my perfume smelled so nice. It has a nice citrusy opening that stays for about 3 hours. Smells like you just took a refreshing lemon infused shower.
