Silver Intensive Aoud

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Mancera and have almost 30 bottles, but I have never seen this one on the shelves and it's not its not listed on Mancera's website. Does anyone have this elusive elixir? Update: I contacted Mancera Customer Service regarding availability and here is their reply, "This item was discontinued in 2015. Currently no vendors that we work with and distribute to in the US have stock of this item, however third party retailers may still have the product for sale. We have contacted our European team to ask if there is any available stock and will notify you should they have the item." I have no idea why this one was discontinued, but I believe it is the only Mancera fragrance that is no longer in production. Cheers!

I have this but have to say that it's one my least faves of the Mancera's I have in my collection -- I have about 10 Mancera's, most of which are an Aoud of some sort. Silver Intensitive starts out quite interesting with lots of woody-soapiness that I quite enjoy but 20 minutes in, it starts to smell mostly of a metallic whitish musk that really isn't all that pleasing or of interest to me. I find this to be very much a special mood thing -- it's almost a craving I get for this once or twice a year only to realize once again that it's not very pleasing or of interest to my sense of olfaction. Perhaps it was discontinued for reasons similar to how I feel about this Mancera creation -- briefly interesting then rather ho-hum 20 minutes onwards.

Those bastards... We need to start a petition for rereleasing limited quantities for diehard fans that got to the party too late.
