Vanille Exclusive

This is very beautiful. Compared to other mancera fragrances it’s very light, but i don’t mind that at all. Unlike some other commenters i do not get a harsh green note in the opening at all, which could be due to my skin chemistry as fragrances often lean towards the sweeter side on my skin. There is a freshness in the opening though there’s something somewhat green there, but it’s barely there.. it’s somewhat grassy maybe, not screechy citrus bugspray like.. perhaps it can lean towards pickly on some skin types? I think it’s the woodsy notes that give it this greenish quality. This whole fragrance is very very soft, like being surrounded by voile. It leans feminine, but isn’t very sweet. It’s very airy and dewy and soft due to the violet. The vanilla is there in a supporting role; this is not really a gourmand. The association with sugar cookies is there, yes, as is the whipped cream, but the floral and woody notes balance it out completely. This is definitely a white fragrance, but not a very creamy white (although there is cream there), nor is it a very fresh white. It’s the type of white that’s delicate and airy. The vanilla and whipped combined with the musk (this is a clean, creamy musk, not at all an animalic musk), make it feel like a comforting hug, whilst the wood notes and florals makes it light and bright and airy. This is an atypically light scent for mancera, so don’t go for this if you’re looking for a strong, beast mode fragrance. It does have decent silage, whilst feeling more like a skin scent, due to its light and delicate character and transparency. I absolutely adore it! It’s very wearable without ever being boring. It’s safe for the office too 😊 I think it’s light enough to be an all season scent, but i suspect that the cream can get a bit nauseating on the hottest days of summer. I feel like it’s best suited for spring, due to its lightness, but can be a very comforting scent in winter too. I personally prefer more melancholic, moody and stormy or mossy fragrances in fall. Could be good as an evening fragrance on cooler summer nights, but it’s most suited for daytime wear imo

I think this is the third review I write about this. I got this about a year ago and loved it at first, but after a while I felt like there was a note that didn’t sit well with me. A note that could lean very masculine in certain conditions (humidity and heat). After comparing it to other fragrances that had the same note that bothered me, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s most likely a (what I believe to be synthetic) cedar note (here mentioned as woodsy notes). In fragrances that I know with certainty to have a natural cedar, the note doesn’t have this quality. Now, a year after I’ve purchased this, the note that bothered me, seems to have faded into the background and this fragrance is absolutely stunning. It’s creamy, yet translucent. It’s warm, yet light. It dances around you and is so bright, but also so cosy. It’s gourmand, but also not. The floral notes and peach give it a lightness and elegance to counter the sugary creamy gourmand warmth. The brown sugar smells almost burned in a good way, giving it just a hint of darkness to keep it from being overly sweet. The whipped cream makes it so comforting. It’s just so gorgeous, elegant and addictive! It’s simultaneously luxurious and elegant, but also comforting and cosy. It’s best worn in colder weather and can be absolutely horrible in hot, humid weather.

I was looking for a vanilla scent to my collection and tried quite numerous scents of Montale and Mancera scents on vanillic theme. This one didn’t impress me at all in the beginning, I thought it smelled not pleasant and harsh. Until 3 months passed and I tried it again on Tenerife, i was seating in a restaurant and enjoying every whiff of that smell. Now it smells luxurious and unique, I wouldn’t think of vanilla actually if someone is wearing it. This scent is not easily describable. I’d say like flowers some fruits and a bit of vanilla, but it’s only while looking on the pyramid :) To summarise idk if its due to maceration, climate change or just my nose has changed:) But now I want to have a bottle of this scent. It’s signature scent worthy ;) Edit: now looking at the list ,,reminds me of” i remember at first i did get sc baccarat vibes so i see why people mentioned Burberry her, but it’s just in that relm not similar actually. Also in the beginning this scent reminded me of Montale’s intense cafe but not as sweet and Novellista’s rouge prive but again less sweet.

I blind bought this perfume knowing you can't go wrong with a vanilla perfume. I was right! This perfume, unlike a lot of other vanilla perfumes, tries to hit the middle spot between being a warm wintery vanilla and a fresh one. this works out because of the peach and whipped cream in the top notes. I don't really smell the whipped cream as much as the peach, but the peach is sharp and fresh. The perfume isnt very strong in the beginning, barely anything special but once it dries down it becomes a beautiful, well blended vanilla scent. its sweet but not too sweet, flowery but very airy. Creamy but holds itself together. I wouldn't say this smells like a cupcake, more like a French vanilla cake decorated with peaches. My husband took a whiff as soon as i sprayed it but he didnt like it, once it dried down he was in love with it! Update- i think i might be a little sensitive to perfumes at this time of the year but God, smelling Vanille Exclusif is so worth it!

I ordered a decant of this and fell in love with it at first spray. Within a week I’d ordered a bottle! The scent opens floral and sweet, and you think that maybe you won’t get the vanilla bomb you were hoping for...but just wait. The dry down gives you creamy white peach simmered in brown sugar topped with whipped cream, with just a touch of those floral notes to take the edge off the sweetness. For me, that’s where it stays for a while. Then, it drops down to the beautiful vanilla and whipped cream notes. I get a good 8 hours on skin with this scent, and I sniff my wrist all day long. It also works beautifully to layer with other scents and adds a creamy, gourmand note to make them even more beautiful. All in all, I recommend this fragrance!! It’s my favorite Mancera/Montale I’ve tried, and I’ve tried lots of them. Beats Coco Vanille any day of the week. I’d compare it most to Intense Tiare with less floral and more vanilla and fruit.

This is my least projecting Mancera fragrance. For me, Vanilla Exclusive comes across as s a peachy, osmanthus, violet vanilla ice cream with brown sugar. That is exactly what I get on my skin. The vanilla in this is not like vanilla extract but more creamy like a vanilla ice cream and it is not at the forefront of the fragrance but more of the base. The leading players are the peach, osmanthus and violet with the brown sugar sweeting things. The Violet is quite dominant on my skin. So, if you are looking for a true vanilla gourmand fragrance you may be disappointed with this because of the floral/fruity aspect of this perfume. Also, although marketed as unisex, it does lean more feminine. Personally, I like the scent profile, I like the perfume but I'm a tad disappointed with the performance. It does not project and I get maximum 3 hours on skin, with zero projection, which I would never expect from a Mancera.

Stunning! I can see where people get the GGGB vibes, but for me it only smells like good girl gone bad for about 30-45 minutes. It starts with very strong osmanthus, but still sweet. After about an hour though, the sharp floral notes start to subside, and a light peach kicks in. And oh my gosh, when it does, it’s amazing! It definitely has a strong vanilla base throughout all of this, but it’s such a nice, creamy vanilla. The vanilla really shines after hour 2-3 on me. That’s when I lose the peachy-floral notes. I was really hoping the peach would be more prominent in this, but it isn’t center stage for me. That being said, I’m still head over heels. It is quite a beast when it comes to performance. Overall, a fantastic perfume. I think this shines in every season except for summer. A fantastic blind buy, I can’t stop smelling myself! 😍

I had high expectations for this perfume, my first from Mancera. Unfortunately I can smell a faint cigarette smoke in the beginning which slowly disappears but anyhow ruins it for me. This is not a sweet fragrance (cannot detect any vanilla or flowers/fruit) so I Iayer it with other perfumes like Lancomes Parfait de Roses to get some sweetness out of it and that's how I get to use this perfume. I am sad that it does not work on my skin, because I have heard so much good about it. I regret my purchase but will probably continue using it from time to time and see if it changes in som way or if it is better in cold weather. ...yes, so I am still on the hunt for a good vanilla! 😊 Edit: After using it for some time I really start to like it a lot! Even bought a backup! 🥳 A new favorite! 💖

I was worried it would be masculine but the majority of the reviews stated it leans feminine. I love it. I get no peach 🍑 which is fantastic to me. I just sprayed it so, let's see Edit: easily one of my favorites Projection- strong for 2 hours then it mellows around hour 3 In my opinion it's not a loud fragance because the tuberose is quite tamed, but when I sprayed my fiancé said it was too strong! I get brown sugar, whipped cream, osmanthus and violet the most, and precisely in that order. I'm wearing it on a hot day, not too hot around 26°C I'm deeply in love with this one, the vanilla is so sweet and sexy but it's not cloying, a bit powdery, amazing.

When I saw both Kilian's Good Girl Gone Bad and Montale's Sweet Vanilla in the "This perfume reminds me of.." section I was really confused. I have samples of both and they seem so different from each other that I couldn't imagine this smelling like both, but it really does! The opening is similar to GGGB and also to Wild Python. The vanilla becomes more and more prominent over time and after 30 minutes or so it does start smelling like Sweet Vanilla! I have been thinking about purchasing Sweet Vanilla because it is very comforting to me, but I also think that it is a bit simple and almost a bit childish. The florals in Vanille Exclusive make the perfume more complex and more versatile. I can see myself wearing this from fall to spring.

I agree with a previous reviewer who mentioned the significance of letting this perfume sit for a while. I bought Vanilla Exclusive in August without trying it. At first, I couldn't smell the main notes like osmanthus or vanilla that everyone talked about. I tried wearing it for a week straight, but it just didn't work for me. Even after trying it again in September and October, I was close to giving up on it. But after 3 months, something changed. Suddenly, the beautiful scents popped out, especially the osmanthus, which felt even stronger than in Good Girl Gone Bad by Kilian. Now, it's a delightful perfume that changes throughout the day. So, if you're thinking of this perfume, give it some time. It might just surprise you.

I blind bought Vanille Exclusif after many attempts, and some fails with the Mancera and Montale houses. I can surely say I find Mancera offerings more wearable overall, than Montale. VE is one of my faves, along with Wild Python. It's creamy and very pretty. I have a scent memory I associate every time I spray this beauty: 90s Cupcake Surprise Princess dolls. I smell the peach, the tuberose, creamy sweetness of the whipped cream, and then there is a dolly element which I adore. I feel super cute when I wear this fragrance. I understand the comparisons to GGGB, however, sprayed side by side, I can smell the cedar base of GGGB from first spray which gives me a different vibe than VE.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! This is a fantastic Vanilla fragrance, it is smooth, creamy and sweet, and not in a nauseating way, it is delightfully sweet! A dreamy gourmand with a perfect blend of brown sugar, whipped cream and vanilla.. yum! The florals, perhaps the Osmanthus, prevent it from becoming cloying. Great performance as most Manceras, and sits perhaps a bit closer to the skin than most. I love it and I’m so happy to have added this to my collection.

i love this combination from brown sugar and peach and osmanthus they also bring me some unique sweet vanilla ( since osmanthus have some vanilla vibes ) i agree it's softer than most mancera fragrances.... but longevity is good. 7 hours plus on my skin and this is not linear i got some whipped cream on drydown.... projection? like. i said this is soft fragrances don't expect too high from this

Get some apricots on a pot, cover them with some jasmine/white floral scented water (maybe neroli water?) add tons of sugar to cover...add vanilla essence, add vanilla pods, add vanilla paste. Let it cook till the jam is done. All that apricot and vanilla scent floating from your skin. Good enough to eat. Handle with extreme caution...this is HOT! Sexy hot! use at your own risk! ;)

With this one, you need to be smart.. What do I meen by this? Well.. At first spray it feels like really nothing special but you walk maybe 5, 10 or 15 minutes and you start to realize that something smell really nice.. Then you smell the perfume and realize its it! Its unbeliveble but make you very happy... thats how you should approuch Vanille Exclusive... Good luck!

Tested this for the first time in hot weather, just for the sake of it, and the fruit or green note (or both.. it kind of smells like a green apple) in the opening is really overpowering and unpleasant in summer. It also turns quite masculine. I recommend reserving this for cold days, as I experienced it as comforting and cosy on cold wintery days.

The opening is an almost green type of flowery scent, then it dries down to a strangely airy peach jam & vanilla pudding smelI. really love it, it's unique and I can easily wear it during spring too, it doesn't become overwhelming.

Leans feminine but so seductive and enjoyable l think is more for colder months cuz it is too sweet like some creamy vanilla ice cream

Vanille Exclusive is one of the three new releases from Mancera, along with Jardin Exclusif and Aoud Exclusif, and it's a pleasant floral vanilla with some fruity touches, namely, peach, itself seemingly a common additive to floral vanillas (is it a floral-leaning fruit, I wonder?). In Vanille Exclusive the floral blend (violet, osmanthus, tuberose, jasmine) has a similar effect to the blend in Jardin Exlusif of simply seeming like a well-blended/varied white floral mix, without any in particular jumping out at me. The dry down involves identical notes to Jardin Exclusif: vanilla, sandalwood, white musk, and amber. Like Jardin Exclusif, the sharper, brighter spots in the opening are expectedly tempered during the dry down with each hour on skin. It’s agreeable, fairly well-blended, leaning heavily on the eponymous vanilla but still blending in the florals and fruits as well. It’s a nice experience to wear it. Very pleasant, and a good offering of a floral vanilla fragrance—some can come off too candy-like, or too feminine, but this is well done. It's not a huge perfumer but significant enough that its performance is not a detractor (I've never really come across Montale or Mancera offerings that I'd classify as weak performers, anyway). Surely worth trying for most of us that can enjoy vanilla and/or floral fragrances. 7 out of 10
