Wild Leather

Wild Leather came out of nowhere to become one of my favorite perfumes. My friend who I buy my perfumes from sent me a decant of this and I wore it for a day and then straight away ordered a full bottle. Contrary to the name, leather is a player here but does not have the starring role so dont blind buy this expecting the Mancera version of TF Tuscan leather. (Get Montale Aoud Leather for that itch) Here, atleast on my skin is a combo of Bergamot, Violet and oud and patchouli mainly with the leather giving the whole thing a nice dry feel, keeping it fresh and bracing all day. pretty amazing for a frag named wild Leather! It does have an animalistic feel, maybe from the Guaiac wood/ oud so the "wild" monikor is not fully misplaced. The closest things it reminds me of are Lalique's Hommage a la Homme ( mostly for the Violet and oud combo) and to some extent, Tiziana Tirenzi's Ursa but is sufficiently different to be doing it's own thing. (oud is not listed as one of the notes but i definitely get the synthetic oud note that all Montale/Mancera frags have) This is my third Mancera after Cedrat Boise and Aoud Cafe that I got full bottles of and I am in love with this house. Pierre Montale/Durrani/Batman, whoever he is, if he is truly the nose behind Mancera/ Montale frags, is a very talented perfumer. Granted, they are not all hits and a lot of them are very similar with one note removed but when he has a winner, he knocks it out of the park and Wild leather is a winner. Beast mode projection so 1 spray only and even that will give you 12 hours plus longevity. ( It may actually last longer than that, all I know is its on from 8 am after my shower til about 7.30 pm when I return home and take a shower) A very underrated hidden gem. 9/10

Wow- this really deserves the leopard print bottle, because the stuff inside is an absolute beast. It opens up with some quite pungent, spicy notes that seem to claw and swipe at you, but after a minute, it starts to dry down into the most beautiful leather/rose/animal combination that swirls around you like a graceful feline. Usually, rose is a bit of a turn off for me, but I would go as far as saying that the rose in this has made me look at rose fragrances in a totally new way. It's super addictive and very unique and I absolutely LOVE the way this all blends together. After 4 hours, sillage is still going strong and so is projection. I would say projection turns into a skin scent by hour 6 but personally, I continued to get whiffs all day. By the end of the work day, it's turned into the most gorgeous rough leather rose soap on your skin. Call me crazy, but I actually wore this to work (in a school) and it worked perfectly. What's more- it's the ONLY TIME I've walked back into my classroom and thought "hmm that smells good!" rather than "oh god- I must have been desensitized to the aroma of sweaty 16 year olds!" I am a huge fan of this, and I really don't think it's as brash, harsh and animalic as many people are saying. Yes: it's a powerhouse fragrance but it's not a war torn, beaten and bloody boar- it's a lithe, beatiful glistening wild-cat of a perfume. You should definitely make time to try this- you will not regret it. Mancera Wild Leather is the first unique scent I've experienced in AGES!

This to me is quite a unique scent among the perfumes that I have smelled. I am a newcomer to Mancera perfumes and this is one of the first scents I have picked up. As a lover of heavy and strong perfumes, I have always wanted to try Mancera. After trying this perfume out a few times, I am can say this is a wonderful scent. It surely is not for everyone as can be seen from the varying reactions in the reviews below. I personally bought this not to please others but to please myself. One thing that is common among the descriptions below is the potency of this scent, like it or not everyone agrees that this is strong like typical Mancera perfumes. The strong projection and sillage is one of the reasons that I like this perfume. With its potency, a light trigger or two on the sprayer will go a long way. Now for how it smells like, for me this smells medicinal, balmy and has an Eastern vibe to it. It reminds me of my childhood when I used to visit my grandma often. I remember accompanying my grandma to her garden and watching tv together later afterwards and doing other stuff. I would complain to her that I feel itchy all over after the garden walk and she would open her cabinet and get some stuff to rub onto me to relieve the insect bites. This perfume somehow smells like the cabinet of my grandma that had her purse, balms and other things inside. Because of this nostalgia I get from smelling this perfume, I feel relaxed and comfortable wearing it.

This perfume has grown on me in a significant way! Blind bought this almost 2 years ago and still have about a quarter bottle remaining, despite being an avid oversprayer. A little goes a long way! The light citrus in the opening is (not surprisingly) shortlived, and the leather/dirty rose takes over quickly and lasts for the entire wearing experience. All that being said, it's the sweet and sticky amber drydown that I LIVE for. Though oud isn't listed as a note, the combination of hard hitters such as oakmoss/leather/patchouli create a sort of phantom oud accord which is extremely pleasant. And NO it's not the same type of oud as Oud Mood (Lattafa) or Oud Bouquet (Lancome). This enigmatic and complex beauty is my layering queen. I never wear her solo since she definitely reads more stereotypically masculine to the untrained nose. I layer her with any sweet/sugary/girlie fragrance to create a more sophisticated and grown up appeal. Wild Leather layers extremely well with Pink Sugar (Aquolina), Cloud (Ariana Grande), Intense Cafe (Montale), Girl of Now (Elie Saab), Fabulous Sweet (Zara). If you love complex and challenging fragrances, and aren't afraid to experiment a bit, definitely give this one a try!

Fantastic fragrance focused on the idea of a wood smoked leather jacket. Notes aren't verbatim so don't expect a literal formulation. The woody notes are dry and warm as if the last ember of firewood has just gone out. The leather is comfortable but strong with a lingering accent of musk, moss and a touch animalic charm. Performance isn't what I expected from Mancera with it lasting roughly 4 hours in projection and then another 3 as a skin scent, however the initial blast may be enough to turn people away. It's at its best from the 2 through 4 hour mark. This is the kind of fragrance one buys for themselves and not for others. Test before buying. Update: After close to a week of daily use, a good 10 to 15 minutes with no shirt on let it settle nicely into a proper dry down. I would drop it's longevity rating to the low end of moderate with 3 hours projection and 4 to 5 hours skin scent. The benefit is you get a more honest dry down which brings out the cleaner, powdery white musk with just a hint of dry wood in addition to the added warmth of the base amber note. Overall surprised it wasn't a stronger performer considering the opening.

I cracked open my bottle of Wild Leather and I am wearing it this evening. Mancera Wild Leather is a full-flavored leather fragrance and there is nothing light, aromatic or wimpy about this bad boy. Most people think of Tuscan Leather when they hear the words "full-flavored" but I assure you they are nothing alike; Tuscan Leather is a luxurious polished Italian leather sofa whereas Wild Leather is lion, tiger, zebra and bison hides stored in a dark wooden coffret. The words leather, animalic and dark-woods (almost oudy) pretty much capture my thoughts. Some floral tones, patchouli and musk are pushing forth as this scent transitions into the heart/base notes. I see rose and iris listed in the notes pyramid, but it's too early to identify them as they are still being overpowered by the leather and animalic tones. This is only my initial impression and I will update and provide a full review soon enough. So far, I like this kinds of fragrance but it will be challenging for others who do not appreciate this kind of fragrance.

This is described on Mancera's website as a "cold intense leather with woody notes." Intense it is in terms of projection and longevity, but on my skin this is less cool so much as leather suffused in green smoke. It then warms up beautifully with the rose, amber and violet predominating the longer it is worn. The leather here is present but restrained, the buttery softness of kid gloves versus a barnyard howl. It grounds the florals and lends just enough sourness to make Wild Leather interesting but approachable. There are some fragrances you buy for compliments and others you buy for yourself. When I sprayed Wild Leather I assumed this would be a "me" fragrance because of its tangy-sweet-smokiness. But people LOVE this fragrance. I have gotten so many compliments wearing this. During my last waxing appointment, my aesthetician paused, inhaled deeply and was like "you smell like luxury." So folks if you're on the fence I can promise that Wild Leather will distract from even the most ... ahem ... hairy... situations.

I just got this gem, I don't know why people call it dirty leather or something like that even on the few youtube reviews I've watched, first impression is a statement and not for the fainted hearted, and yes it reminds me L'Autre Oud eau de Parfum from Lancome, which I also own and in comparison to that one (Lancome) this Montale it may be more daring, but I would need to compare them together to find out which one is more outstanding. I just tested in my forearm now to get the first smell of it since I got the package in my office, and I am pleased so far, I am liking it, although I am wearing Dior Homme Sport now and even is a much lighter different kind of fragrance my nose is not totally tuned it right now for the Montale wild leather. Well is a thumbs up for me, but I need to see how it evolves. I am not sure if is more masculine, but definitely the rose makes it very unisex, so far is the note that is taking a while to let the other ones come out. I may need to do an update. ;-)

Benoit Thibeault on YouTube does a great summation of this fragrance which helped it makes sense in my mind. In summary this is a floral musky fragrance with no noticeable distinct discrete leather note in it... The name is completely misleading. The rose is not red but instead white and the scent is quite astringent. Rose is joined by a violet leaf and guaiac wood and musk dried down. I agree with the reviewer that it is unisex and would suit a man in a more formal setting dressed in an elegant sophisticated way. It is not mass appealing. For a man it would probably be used in the same setting that something like Guerlain Vetiver may be used. If this was in a family it would be the older tougher and mafioso uncle of Narciso Rodriguez for him EDT. They don't smell the same but they are related.

In the 1983 classic, Superman 3, Superman is exposed to tainted kryptonite and becomes corrupt. His cape and boots become a dull and dirty crimson, he doesn't shave, and worst of all he could drink any scotch that he wants but drinks Johnny Walker Red and ultimately ends up having a nervous breakdown and in conflict with the good Clark Kent version of himself. I won't spoil this cinematic masterpiece but wanted to draw an analogy between Wild Leather and Memo's French Leather. Both are heroic portrayals of the underrated leather-rose powerhouse, in perfect Manichean antithesis: the noble FL for when you want to save children from combine harvesters, and the debauched WL for when you want to make out with gangster hoes and cause environmental disasters by trashing oil tankers.

This stuff is banging. I own a good bit of leathers and this one def stands apart from them all. It’s not your typical interpretation of what you’d think a leather scent should smell like. Upon my first sampling I immediately recognized this as something familiar. It took me awhile to pin point it but I get a very strong resemblance to tom Ford Italian cypress and polo green, especially in the dry down. Where these two can at times be somewhat heavy and overwhelming, this is never harsh, and a sweet fruity accord finds it way through as it settles. It opens with a prominent animalic note, but it’s very clean and earthy, professionally done. Performance is outstanding as most manceras are, I get a solid 8-10 hours with a good 4 hours of projection. 8.5/10

After reading reviews from fellow members here I HAD to try this one. It is indeed animalic and spicy. Thank goodness for the bergamot or this would be much to challenging. I imagined this fragrance to smell like Dark Rebel and Tuscan Leather mixture, but it does its own thing. There's a slight sweetness in the mid that threatens to become cloying, but doesn't. The best way I can describe this is a well worn and sweaty motorcycle jacket that has been drenched in an oriental cologne and a barber shop aftershave. It's then been worn to a bike rally and not washed. Masculine to the core, hard-core frag. Strong Sillage, and projection. This is what Dark Rebel wishes it was or should have been. This is the REAL Dark Rebel.

Picked up one of the older screw cap bottles. Opens with that typical PM rose and almost tar-like woody opening. Give it time to dry down. Once the violet makes an appearance, a smoky wood and mossy combination follow. The leather and patchouli are present and both give this a well blended feel. A much lighter scent than Ombre Leather and none of the gasoline vines from Godolphin (which I love, btw). Leans slightly masculine on my skin. Long lasting and projects well. Just missing something, though. Something that’d give it a deeper, more rounded feel. Still, a good one to have in your collection if you enjoy leather scents. 7.5/10.

The ultimate bad boy fragrance. If you play guitar and can come close to shredding like Clapton, Jimi, Buddy Guy, BB King, Gibbons, Clark or JM, and maybe you can sing too, and you love wearing a fragrance that smells more expensive than the car you drive and you don’t care about compliments or attention, and you don’t mind rocking a leather jacket or leather pants on occasion, this one’s for you.

This is currently my favourite Chypre fragrance from Mancera Paris! Jammy Bulgarian Rose. Earthy Indonesian Patchouli. Smoky Leather. With a wimpy dose of Ambery facets! "WILD LEATHER" just sums up what I should smell like on a wet, breezy and chilly Night Out with friends who some wild fun... My 3rd bottle in 1.5 years... IG: mr_cornells

A stunning scent !!! Most of the reviews on this are spot on here. However, with the leather/amber/woods...and the animalic parts of this, I find a floral "brightness" in there too. It has a good deal of sweet elements as well. Powerhouse mode. Awesome sillage/projection. A major love !!

Absolutely adored this on first-try. An instant love for me from the custom sample set from Mancera I was gifted. As a relative newcomer to fragrances, I've never smelled such a playful juicy leather like this. It's outgoing, it's very sun-kissed leather jackets to me.

Amazing! Very different from other leather fragrances out there. It lasts around 24hrs on my skin... Love it! A couple of rich oud sprays with this will give an extravagant smell!

Heavy rose-oud accord in the opening that makes you feel elegant and sophisticated. People that I shook hands with have complimented it, saying it smells like a hotel lobby.

I don't get the low rating. This is strong, masculine and long-lasting leather. Great dark scent. One of my favorites from the house,

Not so much wild as raw - the very animalic, funky, almost-sour smell you get on cheaply-tanned suede and hide bags. If you like that particular facet of leather, and some do, you'll love this. I got no flowery stuff at all, just motorbike-jacket-and petrol notes up at the top. Pretty sharply chemical, almost rank at the very beginning, though it mellows down nicely and is well-behaved overall - despite its unapologetic, unmistakeable leatheriness, it doesn't beat its chest and grunt at you, drive other people out of elevators, or turn rankly unbearable when night falls. Certainly a hit for straight-ahead leather fans, but not even close to the more contoured and tailored leathers of Tom Ford, Lutens, Dior et al. There's no hint of glorious spicing or the ancient knowledge or Morocco or Cordoba or any such artsy-heritage stuff here - it's a blue-collar, no-bullshit leather. Reasonably priced and long-lasting, though, so it does fit a particular slot in the market. (and - whisper it! - it is still nowhere near as all-out macho as say Knize Ten, which would kick its butt in any bar brawl, leather bar or otherwise. Bold women could wear this easily.)

Woooh!! Received it today and smelling this my nose is going everywhere, even my stomach churned a little. I guess my brain didn't know how to process them. First blast is dark bergamot, yes I said dark, then all hell breaks loose with mumbo jumbo of notes charging in. Just imagine a bowl fill with leather, oakmoss, bergamot, rose, wood, musk, amber, and many more, all grind together, and you can smell all those notes at the same time. I know that applies to almost all fragrances where you can pick out a mixture of different notes, but this mixture turns into an oddball. I cannot tell if I like it or not. Can't tell if it's a good mix or not. Can't tell what I am suppose to feel when smelling this. You get the point. But I will give this a like because it's just so weird. haha. Update. Okay, the dry down is easier, with dominant leather+bergamot, and wood.

A Leathery Chypre. I tried it expecting something soft & intimate like Korloff Rose Oud but it turned out to be more like a softer version of Gucci Guilty Absolute (GGA). Having not been a big fan of GGA, I find Wild Leather's relative softness a much welcomed twist. The softness comes in a slightly green & fresh sense, thanks to the oakmoss & patchouli. The former also gives it a little barbershopy (chypre) aspect. Leather, slightly sharp, mildly spicy, lightly green, chypre. It's understandable that this is one of Mancera's more popular releases. This is the kind of leather that appeals the young masess, especially men. Personally, I prefer something warmer & more intimate. Masculine, cool weather wear. "Like".

#651 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I'm surprised this wasn't rated unisex by more voters as it is very floral with lots of patchouli, violet and rose. To me this leans more feminine than most leather scents but guys can certainly wear this. Last for hours, really strong projection so I'd spare the folks in the carpool and elevator. Definitely not an office scent for men. For me this would be a date night scent. I got this as a decant. Unlike many scents with bergamot I can tolerate this well. Too floral in the opening for my taste, so I almost wrote it off as not a bottle buy for me, but it settles down to a an interesting and unique leather scent that I will probably buy..

A challenging fragrance... this one has an unique composition that I never smelled before. Opening is quite dominant by note of soury like gasoline like leather. After 30 mins this leather note starts to settle down and then you can detect other notes like patchouli and rose. This pickle juice like leather note is unpleasant if you smell it directly but it has some attractiveness if you smell it in the air. This one is a very confusing fragrance I don't know what to feel about it. But it stays like forever, I really mean it. I sprayed it on my sweatshirt one month ago and I can smell easily whenever I wear it. And it projects really good for 4-6 hours.

Oh I really like this one. I suspect the Leather note is based on Labdanum (probably Birch Tar too), so this EDP is a Chypre fragrance, very well done and also unique. It doesn't get much love, because it is a very classic and dry scent profile (no juicy fruits and no sweet cinnamon, vanilla or cocoa in here). The opening might mislead most people who test it, since the smoky leather note begins to take a back seat at around 30 minutes after application, and then the rest of the notes appear. It is strong and long-lasting, but nothing too dramatic. Very mature, masculine, and a no-brainer for me, since I love Chypres.

At first a plain, animalic leather. Reminds me of a MC leather jacket I bought ages ago straight from the small factory. I can agree with reviewers that sense a kind of medicinal oud in Wild Leather, but to my nose this chord is associated with leather, a bold and slightly challenging leather. The stroke of rose, at first impalpable, slowly grinding the sharp edges of the leather is an elegant development. Even though i enjoy the initial boldness of Wild Leather, this evolution makes it wearable for many more occasions.

Not for the timid or faint of heart. This fragrance lives up to its name. I would not consider this unisex...this is a masculine fragrance. Maybe Wonder Woman could pull it off. It isn't linear...it starts out patch heavy with leather and floral as supporting roles, then after a few hours the patch and floral fade somewhat. I'm still deciding whether I want a full bottle of this one, and when and where I could wear it. I don't believe this is an office safe scent.

Smells like nothing that I have smelled before. Deep, dark, smoky. Leans masculine. On my skin the major notes are patchouli, guaiac wood, amber and leather. Some rose creeps in too. Gets smokier and dirtier after it reaches drydown. Absolutely love it! Cool/cold weather signature scent. Not a blind buy as it's truly a stinkbomb( I mean that in a positive way). If you like bold and challenging scents, give a try.

I like this even though its a little challenging. I get Heavy Leather, mixed with Rose and a gasoline type vibe from the Violet. This smells like a dressed up scent to me. Don't think T shirt and shorts would go well with this. Not sure i'd be able to go through a 120ml of this bottle, but if you can get it sub $70, this niche fragrance may be worth a try.

Un parfum fort, un charisme bien a lui avec sa touche de cuire, bois et rose, ce mixe est très présent même dans les première heur de la vaporisation, il garde un coté ambré et musqué aussi, il est pas mal franchement, surtout pour les personnes aiment le cuire il tient bien, se diffuse bien et pour sa projection, elle est vraiment bonne aussi

OK the opening hurts my senses, I kinda like it, and thats all I'm going to say about that. The dry down is what people should be waiting for. What I smell is intense leather,intense patchouli and musk. this is a strictly cold weather fragrance. Like other Manceras longevity is pretty darn good.

Men & Women could both use this fragrance. More masculine but the rose and violet develop for a ballsy woman to easily pull this off. Has a Whisky 🥃 kind of vibe, very Smokey leather too. LOVE IT, also Beastly performance as always from Mancera.

Smell - 8.5/10 Longevity- 6hrs easily Projection- mild to moderate U get whiffs of it here and there. Beautiful scent dry leather kind off !!!!

wow this is so not unisex. i do love the smell but on men. i cant pull it off. it smells beastly and animalic. someone who's tough. 😅

Unapologetic DUSTY LEATHER. Like a well worn pair of cowboy boots from a rodeo cowboy. Potent, forceful, in your face. Mancera Wild Leather is my first ever niche fragrance purchase. My initial impression, "man, I'm not ready for niche yet." With first spray knocking me back; the opening is unpleasant and pungent. My dogs even growled at me. Hang in there. If you can get through that, the leather dry down is exactly as advertised. A dirty, dusty stable leather that will last until you've showered and laundered your clothes. This can be a difficult fragrance to wear on it's own. You have to be wearing leather, in colder temps, with maybe only 2-3 sprays. However, I found it layers nicely to add a deep leather base to other fragrances. Try one spray Mancera Wild Leather, with five of Dior Fahrenheit for example. Rating 6/10

Leather Leather Leather. So beautiful and animalic it's enough to turn a man primal, the opening is not for everyone especially not for people who can not handle harsh animalic scents but god oh god the dry down! The best leather fragrance I had the blessing of trying absolutely phenomenal. I was on a date with my girlfriend going around perfume shopping and I was surprised to see mancera being available for testing and what could I say it was love at first smell, my girlfriend was sick at the time and could barely smell anything but she absolutely loved this one despite not being a fraghead like me and it lasted A WHILE before it slowly faded, about 6h minimum for strong projection than another few hours for a close scent. This is THE leather fragrance 8/10

One of the rare Mancera who doesn't seem to be made by a mix of poor notes for home spray. It's a strangely oily and compact chypré - vetiver and oud but who doesn't smell like a leather at all. It's closer of a malt whisky, intensely peaty. The smell is strangely compact, it looks like intense at first but in fact stays close to the skin and even if it lasts a long time on fabric it's not very strong. Most of the time you can buy a Mancera for 60€ on the net , it's a fair price for this level of quality but it's very far away of the quality of a Bandit by Piguet or Oud Imperial by Perris.

All I smell is Oud. If you've purchased any Mancera oud in the past, the scent is oud equivalent; Despite what the notes say.

Nose Note #970 I don't know what it is, but it smells familiar. Sour leather, somewhat zesty, piercing. Not nice. The opening has a fresh coating to it, but the scent is overall heavy, the drydown is OK, but I can't stomach waiting for the drydown. It's not that it's disgusting, I'm just not liking it at all. The bottle is cool though, somewhat feminine. Unisex leaning male. Very strong performer I like leather scents, but this here is a no 5/10, I'm almost OK with it, but I have to give it a dislike

. i enjoy mancera colognes but i am glad it was a sample buy on this one. it is stout and blast leather all around.it is loud and proud.if your into leather this is a excellent choice. if your into more complement getting and alluring , this one is not going to get the job done.would i buy it again ? no..this is a mans cologne straight up. buy a sample before getting a bottle to make sure this is what you want.

I wanted to like this but I think the combination of candy sweet rose and leather and oakmoss reads almost like a decomposing body, like the sweet smell of rotten meat. Smells hazardous actually, like I will become sick after smelling it. I want to like montale and mancera since they are more budget but I haven't found anything I love yet :(

This is the 6th Mancera that I get a sample of, I must say, they all smell cheap, synthetic and overpowering. They are so strong they practically are unwearable! Each to his taste but I don’t even who know would pull this off at what occasion unless it’s intentionally suffocating masses of innocents!

just got this and not really a fan ! so far i smell no leather, just strong overpowering wood mixed with a little rose and animalic. i love leather and have Ombre Leather, Tuscan Leather, Au Hasard, and several others. hopefully it will get better in time !

I normally like leather fragrances, but I found Wild Leather unpleasant, even abrasive. I smelled a rough, sweaty leather splashed with gasoline. I could imagine the character "Wez" from the Road Warrior smelling like this.

Smells like I walked into the cowboy bar; gasoline, dank weed (patchouli) and leather. Unmistakably a Montale fragrance, a little too heavy handed for my taste.

Leather, ordinary, Mancera-style. Not for me, pretentious.

What be the meaning of this? I've only smelled such an odor on one before in my long and storied history, and that be the monstrousity known only as Temperance. Ironic. The lass' name suggests moderation, but Temperence was a glutton of Olympic proportions. I met her in me last days of boyhood, before I turned 16. I'd just joined the King's navy. A young and inexperienced lad, long before I became an officer, and even longer still until I and fled the navy and captained mine own vessel out into the glorious open seas. We'd just arrived in Nassau after a long journey. At the lowly rank of Boy Seaman, I was oft pushed about while at sea, but after I won me first fistfight with the Coxswain, the men took a liking to me. Ashore at Nassau, they took me to a tavern and got me plenty drunk. My consciousness began to wane, and I lost hours of the night. I awoke, heaving me guts into an empty barrel, and found me feet. I steadied, and looked about, glimpsing more barrels of ale around me in the scant candlelight. I saw baskets of fruit and salted meats, and I realized I must have stumbled my way into the store room. As I steeled my stomach, and readied myself to be off, I heard a rattle of chains from behind the meat storage. I felt the floor shake beneath me, and a putrid stench startled me nostrils. From behind a wall of barrels, a massive figure towered as she erected herself. Later, I would discover her name was Temperance. The name must have been something of a joke to the lads tending the bar, because there was nothing tempered about this lass. They kept her around to take care of the wild boars in the nearby hills, and she had developed a taste for blood. She stood at least 2 meters tall hunched over, and the beast held an entire cooked chicken in her left hand, grease from the chicken glistening her swollen lips. In the dim light, she appeared to be palming an entire barrel of mead in her right hand. Her eyes were almost entirely black, and her nose unnaturally flat against her face. She spoke, and her voice harkened back to the sound of pirate's cannon fire ripping through the solid oak of the port bow. "Come to TemTem, little pig" she growled, "come feed mama." She dropped the chicken and her arm shot forward unnaturally fast. She grabbed me arm, but the slick of the chicken grease allowed me to slip free. I ran, and didn't look back. The barrel of ale smashed against the frame of the door, and I heard Temperance bellow in anger as I ran free. This is Wild Leather by Mancera. Gluttonous. Rancid. Cloying. Putrid. When I sprayed it on me arm, I was transported back to that cellar, and the unspeakable horror that lived within. I pray that time has taken care of the beast, but in my heart of hearts I am aware. When me clock runs out, it'll be Temperance's doing. Finally escaped, and caught up to me after years of unrelenting hunger. The next time I smell Wild Leather, I know that she is near, waiting to devour me with her rotten teeth, and drag me to the depths of Poseidon's watery entombment.
