Let's Travel To New York For Man

Close your eyes and let your mind fly away for a moment... you are inside an iconic yellow cab while you tour New York City. The cab’s windows reflect the astonishing New York skyline, The Empire State Building or the Chrysler Building just to mention a few, and the background is lit up with Times Square billboards, dazzling lights and neon signs painting the skyscrapers’ silhouettes. There you are! Let's Travel to New York resembles all of those sweet dreams and takes you to the liveliness energy of this city that never sleeps. By the way, I woke up this morning with M. Duck Let's Travel to Paris on my mind. The weather was so-so, the sky was pale and cloudy, and a crisp breeze was gently blowing. Thus, I took my morning shower, had my breakfast, and got dressed ready to go to the office... just quite a few whiffs of scent to complete my outfit. After a while, I was sitting in my car and driving to the office and I smelt a pleasant powdery and creamy note, and I wondered who or what was scenting like that... since I was on my own in the car it could only be my scent. Ouch, it was so damn good, but you know what... I suddenly realized it couldn't be Let's Travel to Paris, which is supposed to be an aromatic-fougére, rather I must be mistaken and sprayed Let's Travel to New York, which is unquestionably an oriental-fougére. Of course. it doesn't matter, perhaps it does not fit this season... let's see how it performs on a late springtime day. To start with, Let's Travel to NYC begins with luxurious bergamot, just a bit of airy lavender, and enough carrot seeds to add fruity and powdery tones. Interesting, carrot seed essential oil comes from wild carrot seeds, it doesn't come from the carrots we eat. It is a rooty, iris-like note with earthy and woody facets. The mixture results really agreeably powdery. At the heart comes an avant-garde flower blend of freesia and orris. While the freesia delivers the flowery touch to the scent, the orris root pushes the scent towards a more mellow and powdery facet, yet remaining in the masculine territory. The powderiness is however far away from Dior Homme and ain't no lipstick effect here, yet it is closely alike to baby powder that I don't mind, but that’s a subject not everyone is comfortable with. The heart is so smooth, classic, and comforting that I can't take my nose off of it, and reveals sophisticated floral notes which reminds the most exclusive and elegant facet of the upper-east side and its prestigious atmosphere. The intense, warm base is made by a combination of noble and addictive woods like the enticing charm of the city. The blue cedar, the creamy sandalwood, and the coumarin whose aromas resemble the scent of fresh-cut hay altogether blend with the powderiness of the heart, with an intense temperament, like NYC. The scent on my skin has average longevity, surely 6-8 hours, and the projection is moderate and close to the skin after 1 hour or so. In my opinion, it performs well in cool/warm weather, thus both sprint and fall seasons are appropriate for wearing it. Let's Travel to New York is closely akin to YSL l'Homme, they share the same vibe, from the opening throughout the dry down, even though few notes differ in the two compositions.

This has a very Gourmandish vibe to it ,I haven't heard anyone really mention that, it is most definitely a spicy strong kind of a scent for sure and by Mandarina Duck; known to make some other pretty strong/ wonderful smelling stuff/scents, which I like , anyway I've tried this for 2 days and the longevity is moderate the strength in the silage is pretty moderate as well ,the scent I give a 7.4/ strength and Longevity 7.0/ IT to me, has all the smells of the candy shop, Bakery Factory etcetera.. It's a decent sent in the mid $20 range, !! CIAO !!!

I don't get why there are so many dislikes for this charming little blend. It's neither boring nor challenging. It's reasonably priced and quite versatile. The drydown reminds me quite strongly of Guerlain Habit Rouge.

I like this one. Simply put, this is the perfume version of Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo (the yellow bottle). Decent projection and longevity. Heck, I got it for cheaper than a bottle of baby shampoo.

An amazing LNDL scent profile for $12. I usually cringe when I hear a fragrance described as "good for the price", but this actually is good for the price. Solid performance, and a familiar scent.

Aight I'm back with a bottle it's time for a review. The notes listed doesn't mention apple but I smell apple wood and citrus I guess from the bergamot. It doesn't project much and longevity is not up to par, if you smelled La Nuit de l-Homme you've smelled this. I have La Nuit on one arm and New York on the other and can't tell the difference. Can't tell the difference in longevity either. New York= $20 La Nuit = $75 So I'd pick New York just because this scent is more of a a lounge at home or after a shower cologne. Smells like a apple pie with a thong on Sexy. 7/10 other people might love it.

Smells a lot like Bleu Electrique but the vibe is nothing of that sort, I see this most appropriate for wearing during a stroll on an early summer morning. Starts out real sweet, almost childish, dries down into airy cleanish and powdery/mentholy iris + lavander. A nice uplifting casual smell for personal enjoyment.

A hybrid between LNDH Edt and the LNDH L'Intense - I would say 80/20! It's a really nice and little sweetened up version of the Edt with average performance - bought it for 15 Euro here on Austria. Much better than other LNDH wannabes :)

I don't know how people are detecting the supposed "notes" in the description here. To me it smells like a pleasant soap and that's it. Do you want to smell inoffensive and nice? This is the dumb reach you're looking for. It feels like a safe for work fragrance and is probably best suited for spring/summer. Sillage is moderate and longevity is maybe around 3-4 hours. This is amazing performance for a 8$ fragrance but don't expect to get blown away by a dozen different notes. It is what it is.

'Maybe' there's a hint of something like LNDL but to me it's not that similar, not even close! There's a powdery aspect throughout which from the 'reminds me of' section above lends more to something like Habit Rouge. I'm not a fan but I can see why some might like this particularly if they like orris/iris notes.

OMG I can't believe the reviews 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anyone who says that it smells like La Nuit have to get their nose check, I guess people fainted and fell on their faces after sniffing this horrible synthetic 💩 It cost around 8$ here in Israel and it's not worth a dime...so cut the nonsense

This is by far the most out of hand review section of a low end fragrance I have come across... just look below and then keep scrolling because it only gets better. Someone with multiple degrees in biology, someone calling this $12.00 fragrance gourmand...and then someone calling out the aforementioned biology guy and telling him to move this discussion to the forums! Are there forums?!? Alright, now to the review, I think this is actually pretty interesting for $12.00. Do I recommend? No, not even remotely. But if you have $15.00 to your name and need to smell like literally anything other than yourself than why not? Far from great, but not terrible.

This M.Duck is definitely resembling YSL La Nuit profile. Basically its a diluted mix between YSL La Nuit and La Nuit L'Intense. Quality is decent, like f.e. in Halloween Man Shot (which is also similar scent). Mediocre projection and longevity, up to 4 hours on me. As a gym or casual refresher it is an excellent choice, especially considering price tag on it (I got my 100ml tester bottle dirt cheep for like 4 euros and retail you can buy this up to 8-10). For what it is, a cheep, YSL La Nuit with iris inspired scent, its a bargain! 7/10

@DustyMemphis - Just give a review. No one here needs a lecture on our eating habits, perfume usage, what or how we should think about a fragrance, or insults from you. If you have a gripe, take it to the forums. That’s the appropriate place for it. Not here. As an aside, what makes you an expert?
