Giornata Perfetta

is this a ground.breaking scent? no, not at all. but it's still lovely. it's a super refreshing, clean and a bit sophisticated take on a a mainly floral but fruity pear scent. the lasting power is not outstanding either nor is the sillage but i'm satisfied by the scent quality itself. it's like standing under a pear tree while it's in full blossom in your lush green garden in a sleepy mediterranian town with cobblestone roads while your freshly washed and hanged laundry is drying in the warm sun. the air is not too warm, with a gentle cool breeze mixing the delicate smell of pear, greenery, flowers, clean clothes and the lightest promise of a nearby sea. i throroughly enjoy this scent personally, despite all its flaws. i love to wear it on a hot summer or even a warm spring day where i want some olfactory refreshment during the day, which by i mean, the maximum of 3 hours this scent lasts on my skin. but those 3 hours are marvelous from beginning to end if you ask me, this perfume is not obnoxius at all, i can't seem to get tired of smelling it again and again.

I loooove this fragrance. It’s quite different from what I usually wear (Replica By the fireplace f.e.) but I fell in love with this. Though it wasn’t love at first sight (or sniff as I might say), it just simply grew on me. It’s a perfect combination of floral and fruity notes. I think this is a very feminine and elegant scent which I would wear most likely in spring or summer.

Nice, but nothing to write home about: you would, if this were your perfect day (= giornata perfetta, in Italian). It's a summery, light floral day scent with an herbal quality that verges on lemongrass (mosquito repellent), but i agree, also rhubarb has that green herbal feel. The sweet notes of pear and melon are present, so is the freesia. They're short lived, because all you are left with is a cozy musk amber drydown. I wouldn't say it's well crafted cause the notes do not meld together well, they are separate and distinguishable and the fragrance doesn't have a proper evolution or transformation. It's linear, upfront and not telling you any story nor a journey (side effects that I love in perfumes, the good ones keep you company telling you about places, people and events). Lasts 30 minutes on my skin, but it's pleasant enough to smell during that time. Sillage almost non existent. All in all, nothing groundbreaking. Save your money, as this fragrance will not make it to a perfect day.
