Près du Soleil

Got this gifted from a friend the other day and at first initial spray it smelled so fresh and clean. The opening does smell like violet and pear, which after a short while dries down to a muted Lancome Idole. I think this is a nice freshie, if you like coach edt, chloe and ritual of dao. However it doesn't last that long like the other perfumes mentioned, it disappears and becomes a skin scent. If you're on the go and want scent that doesn't offend anyone I think this is safe. I can picture a healthcare worker wearing this as it's a very soft and pure scent. Like fresh out of the shower or sunday rain. I just wish the longevity and silliage was stronger, but it's a nice spring scent or dupe for lancome idole.

Again, the notes listed are completely off. This is the 5th fragrance - and the last I promise as all were a huge disappointment- from Mango I purchased based on the notes listed and what i got intstead left me surprised and puzzled because i smell a completely different thing. Pres Du Soleil is a soft, unappealing powdery flower mix. It starts with a huge...banana smoothie. Yep. Add the fact that i hate the banana smell. But it transforms into a flowery mix, very artificial. Peony? Pear? The notes listed are the same as in other frags of the same line, yet the result is different but.. identical in its low quality, poor ingredients and underwhelming result. I was hoping to smell a nice powdery violet, all i get is ironing spray (ok it smells clean but i am not looking for that in the fragrance i wear). No sillage no longevity (could be a positive thing as the perfume is so... meh). It's a very very watered down version of the long gone Romance ( 1998 ) by Ralph Lauren. Save your money.

I don't know why nobody else is writing about it but this perfume line has the worst packaging ever. The cap leaks, breaks easily, disitegrates over time from contact with the juice and the paint from the cap stains any fabric that it touches. I bought PdS and Hedonisme and both have the same issue. I even went through the trouble of exchanging the faulty bottle only to find out that they all have the same construction. The scent is nice for the price, floral and inoffensive. But the packaging takes away a lot from the overall experience with this product. Big minus.

I bought the little bottle just walking by a mango and didn't gave to much for it, but I fell in love with this perfume. It's clean, fresh, with a fruity touch. I can see the resemblance from Idole, not sure it's exactly a dupe but it's really good on its own. In my skin it lasts a lot, on clothes a bit more. I'm buying the full bottle for sure, a great summer scent! Edit: Mango, why did you discontinued this? 😭😭 I'm so sad that I haven't bought backups 😭😭😭
