Grapefruit & Neroli is a perfume by Primark for women and men. The release year is unknown. The scent is green-citrusy. With a very mystic layer. It is still in production. Fresh grapefruit and zesty lemon make Neroli and Happy a vibrant fragrance, guaranteed to put a spring in your step. Blossom and Calm blends orange, ylang ylang, and tiare flower with base notes of amber and heliotrope in the creation of a warm and calming fragrance. And this is said to be a dupe of Jo Malone! For once, I can really recognize all the notes and also almost in the exact order they are placed on the pyramid! I get the tobacco, the spiciness of the ginger and the fruitiness and sweetness of the plum. Then I smell the rose, the cloves, vanilla, a touch of musk. Then I can spot the wood and the resin lying underneath. Not bad!

Fleur Narcotique is the new perfume launched this autumn by Manila Grace and the curiosity pushed me to give it a try. I understand why they called it Fleur Narcotique - this scent is so addicting and smells different from the other oriental vanillas. It has also a gourmand vibe thanks to the praline that sticks along through all the time until the scent fades away. This is a strong scent full of personality and character. You can't go unnoticed if wearing this one. In the opening I can mostly smell the floral-fruity notes like the rose and the plum. But after a few minutes the other notes show up: the praline, vanilla, tonka bean and benzoin. It's like a party of oriental elements. But what I love the most of it is the warm spicy vibe. All the notes are so well blended that there is no risk that one of them can be intrusive or invasive. It's like a beautiful simphony where all the instruments have their own role but together they become one. It has already become one of my favourites orientals and can't wait to have a bottle. Even though the perfume is quite long lasting on skin, on clothes it has a monster longevity and sillage. I applied it on the sleeve of my jacket three days ago and it's still there as strong as the first applying! Oh and the bottle is so stunning with elements that remind me the ornaments and the style of an arabic room.

Oh it's beautiful. Thick, jammy, spicy, sweet and dark. This is what I want when the weather turns grey and cold and I'm all snuggled up in black. It reminded me of Dior Poison a little. Not calling it a dupe, mind you. It's just of that type. The fact that it's called Fleur Narcotique really drew me in because I'm a sucker for names that promise mystery and darkness. Same old, same old. So it's disappointing when they don't deliver. But this did. What a good blend. The design on the bottle reminds me of something that could be on a Depeche Mode album cover. All in all, a big win for me.
