Nice, very nice. I was actually afraid because of the notes, that it will be stronger, cloying, headache inducing, but its not. Its soft, and I can feel slight rose note which is nice. Dill smell is something which is actually in the first sprays and should leave it to settle down. Ill test it more and add my final opinion. Edit: that dill smell is fading more and more, probably Im getting used to a frag. But its really nice on the skin, not beast mode but quite powdery gentle. Longevity is around 5-7 hours with sillage for 1h. Edit again: its actually very beautiful frag, wearing it for couple of months. For every recommendation.

The onset of the obsession with this one was swift! It’s immaculately blended to perfection. It’s almost imperceivable as to what it is I’m smelling. More like an experience to enjoy than pick apart and examine. Update...I get this background of tooth decay funk and I can’t shake it. Unfortunately I got hold of V.6 and it has a background the same. Ugh I haven’t encountered this before and it ruins it for me.

I adore this perfume- truly love at first sniff. the woods are deep and cozy, almost creamy but then perfectly balanced and made fresh by the bitter orange. I agree with the “Chinese Medicine clinic” comment, and realized I probably love this because of it (I’m a TCM Doctor) lol

The heart of the perfume is an Australian fire tree blended with bitter orange. It’s a rich, almost sweet, citrus blend. It is complex, yet tender and very primal. I am really impressed. Lasts for about 4-5 hours on my skin.

On me is lighter, more woodsey version of Crystal noir.

I would say I have a love-hate relationship with V.8. I noticed something rubbery in the scent profile and, when combined with smoky and balsamic notes, it reminded me of a visit to a traditional Chinese medicine shop (I know it might not make sense, but that's what I thought). The sandalwood base was good, though, and I wish it could be creamier. The performance was pretty good on my skin.

Overdose of dill. I blind tested it and thought it's a vegetable salad with dull cucumbers and a ton of dill.

I need to reveal another slough of botanical malaprops listed in Fragrantica's Notes Section. And this one might be a record, with no less than five incongruous mistakes entangled together, ...so bear with me: The Australian Fire Tree Oil used in perfumery (including Abundance V.8, Joie de Vert, etc.) comes from a monocot plant called Xanthorrhoea preissii. Unfortunately these five errors would make that impossible to discern on this site. 1. The common name for Xanthorrhoea preissii is Fire tree, not Christmas Tree or Flame Tree. 2. The listed botanical name on Fragrantica is Nuytsia floribunda. This is an entirely different species that IS referred to as Australian Christmas Tree (due to its bloom time). It is NOT used in perfumery. 3. Two of the three provided photos show Delonix regia. Another entirely different species that IS referred to as Flame Tree (due to flower colour). It is NOT used in perfumery. 4.The third provided photo shows Araucaria heterophylla, The Norfolk Island Pine. It is sometimes used as an actual Christmas tree in tropical and subtropical places. As a source of a conifer oil, it IS sometimes used in perfumery, but it is NOT the plant or perfumery material being referred to here. 5. This fifth error, is only apparent if other listing using this note are examined. it seems some conifer oil-based perfumes refer to their conifer scents as Christmas Tree (For example: Winslow's by Solstice Scents). This another note entirely. It has become conflated with this one due to the vague and misleading listed name. ...Wow.

To start with I like masculine fragrances that match my personality, however out of curiosity I ordered this fragrance because of the unisex label, I find it exotic and stimulating its inky Lip sticky and pungent the Australian Sandalwood is successfully well blended with the other notes, and its stark contrast to what I usually like is extremely attractive to my senses, this one is in a class of its own, I can see both sexes rocking this fragrance with complete sexual attraction. Its freaking sexy, it has a lipstick tang to it that is fascinating and it projects, changing notes with every whif., sometimes sweet and sometimes woody due to the heavenly sandalwood and balsamic smoky and Akigalawood ingredients. The drydown is warm and cosy. Fascinating
