V.I.T.R.I.O.L

Dead flowers, hot rubber, rotting, blistering sun, BO, strange, moreish, ugly, both comforting and off-putting at the same time. Something very urban yet natural about this fragrance—an abandoned train carriage lies on the outskirts of a city, teeming with rats and foliage she tries to glister in the beating sun, cracked pigments unrest upon the smashed windows, and the sound of bluebottles is as loud as the smell of violets and lilies; extrait de dystopia. Very creative, but not sure if I'd like a whole bottle. Especially at the price point because I'm poor.

It would be really interesting to hear from someone who have sampled if this indeed smells like vitriol! That is, the cancerogenous substance that in the olden days was used to preserve wooden railway sleepers / railroad ties from rotting. Burnt tar and burnt tires in combination... Maybe the rubber note would mimic this? And, if this is a fluttery floral perfume, that would be rather genious, too...

It smells quite metallic first and you can immediately smell the animalics in the background. The opening is the most unpleasant part for me. Soon when the metal goes away, it turns into very animalic and cheesy oud. A little bit later you can also smell the strawberry. A weird perfume for sure.

In post soviet countries, if you rub your hand on trail rails there will be black substance on it. It smells exactly like this. Burnt rubber, suffocating, full scent. Very indolic but not floral and quite oily as well, like olive oil.
