Pralinê & Vanilla

Wait... where are the caramel, vanilla, and praline??? I was expecting a gourmand and got a sunny fruity fragrance instead? I love it! The perfume opens with a very juicy, cheerful burst, with that fruity shampoo kind of smell. There are some floral nuances, but they stay discreet and never really take center stage. Later on, the gourmand notes begin to appear and gradually gain strength, yet it never becomes cloying. On the contrary, I found it very comfortable even for hot weather. If you enjoy lighter sweet fragrances for summer, you can go for this without fear. Note: you shouldn’t wear perfume at the beach, okay? It’s not elegant, it can bother people, and honestly, nothing beats the smell of the ocean breeze. But if you really want to wear something, keep it subtle: two sprays on your clothes and that’s it. Trust me, I know what I’m talking about. It’s not suffocating, the projection is more restrained, the longevity is decent... overall, it’s a very pleasant fragrance. I enjoyed discovering the brand.

When you see the name Pralinê & Vanilla, you might imagine a gourmand bomb, a sugary explosion, but surprisingly, this perfume is the most delicate, balanced, and harmonious thing possible. It's a fresh, floral, fruity, and sweet perfume, yet not cloying at all, and very balanced by the notes that make up its pyramid. It's a blend of the citrus of bergamot with a very refined sweetness from the perfect mix of praline, caramel, and vanilla, all in a very harmonious and comfortable way. This perfume is cheerful, youthful, luminous, creamy, very elegant and balanced, and also delicious. It's a crème brûlée of vanilla and caramel... and that's exactly it. It's extremely elegant and sophisticated. I was truly surprised by the quality of the raw materials used by Maracujá Brasil. This was my first perfume from the brand, and it certainly won't be the last.
