Daisy Murakami Green

My favorite of the new 💓 smells so good and so unique, you get the banana scent in the beginning and it's literally a journey where all stages of this fragrance are fantastic. I've also never really experienced a fragrance journey of the perfume showing off the different layers as time goes, until this perfume!! And I usually don't care for marc jacobs perfumes as I find an issue with their longevity vs price point. But not this one! It also lasts forever on clothes and a pretty decent amount of time on skin. Gonna have to get a 2nd and maybe 3rd back up honestly and I can't remember the last time I bought the same perfume more than once. Much more unique than the other flankers released. Also the dry down is much less sweet banana but it's still divine, I love 😭 please go smell in store!! It's not a safe blind buy but man it's been some time since a perfume got me like this, and I'm over here buying $200+ in niche samples a month.

Caught my eye because I really love Murakami's art and had no idea he did a collaboration with Marc Jacobs -- the perfume itself didn't disappoint!! It smells EXACTLY like a creamy banana milkshake in the best way possible The banana note definitely fades fairly quickly so my only wish is that it lasted a bit longer, but at the same time it might be a little sickly if it overstayed its welcome. Delicious and really captures the spirit of Murakami's artistry with how playful it is. Highly recommend if you're a fan of sweet gourmands 😋

Oh wow. This is a less heavy and thick version of Enrico Buccella Blue Java. It really smells nearly identical but BJ would be a winter version due to its thickness and Murakami would be the spring summer version. Straight up vanilla and banana pudding. Love it!!! It's very gourmand. That's how it varies from the three Daisy Wilds. They all have a floral touch to them. This is pure mashed bananas, whipped cream and Nilla wafers. Yummy!!

Wow this is so much nicer than I thought I’m so happy I managed to try this in the shop and I absolutely love it. It’s a very sweet banana candy scent it reminds me of those banana sweets from pick and mix. At the dry down it’s still sweet but we get the vanilla and amber. So I bought one and I’m so happy with it I also do love the full collection definitely getting the others

Runts banana hard candies! I'm delighted by how cheerful and bright this feels upon application. But the sugary sweetness quickly fades into a more grounded, ripe banana. It ends up trading playful whimsy for a more realistic perspective... there's a metaphor in there somewhere. A huge pick-me-up nonetheless! For cherishing childhood joys and nostalgia for simpler times.

I'm so happy I was able to snag my Nordstroms last bottle. This is the banana scent I've been looking for, that actually lasts longer than 30 minutes! It's literally a banana laffy taffy. Smells divine ❤️ longevity is impressive while still keeping the banana smell throughout the day. This one's definitely a must have unique scent for your collection.

Very candy-like banana, followed by a beautifully sweet jasmine, almost like bubble gum? I really love it so far! Much more floral than Maui in a Bottle in my opinion. Almost smells like lily-of-the-valley to my nose.

It's an amazing perfume, banana is all over the place but unfortunately it fades away very fast. I don't think it even lasts for 10 minutes and it's such a same as this is a very sweet, intense fruity, fun scent.

This is an absolute love! The most sweet and bright banana scent ever. Smells like a banana milkshake on a bright sunny day. Wonderful fragrance but shame it doesn’t last as long as I would want it to.

Fresh, sweet, tropical, delicious banana! I ́m in loooove It ́s quite similar to Maui in a bottle (which I also loved, but sadly was allergic to) This is gonna be so delish in the summer ☀️

Beautiful gourmand scent- banana, vanilla, praline. It gets better on the dry down. A cozy, warm scent, safe for warm weather. It can be worn all year round. Love it!

Smells exactly like banana candies or that banana flavored amoxicillin. Purchased the second I smelt it.

Finally got to smell this in store today. It`s a fun and youthful banana candy fragrance. Really light and easy to wear. Only to my taste it`s a little "too" light. I`m currently visiting Germany. It`s dry and freezing. Still, just shy of 2hrs after spraying it on my skin, it`s barely there anymore. I really don`t see this holding up in the hot and humid climate I usually live in where light fragrances like this just go "poof and gone" instantly if they don`t have some oomph to them. And then there is the Murakami fee on top of that. Originally, I really thought I`d purchase this no questions asked just for having the Murakami bottle. But 100 Euros (116USD) for 50ml(!!!) of a fragrance that is barely there... The bottle is really really cute and all, but man... 50ml of a barely there fragrance at a full bottle price... I don`t know (yet) Edit: Who am I kidding? Obviously, I am a complete clown and ended up picking it up from duty free yesterday after all. At least it was 90Euros rather than 100 in the German department store I had checked first. Will update on wear in tropical climate in some time.

This was a blind buy, based on the notes and previous reviews. The opening is a sweet banana, which I really like but, alas, it only lasts for a minute or so. Immediately after, I get a sweet, vanillic and ambery jasmine. Thankfully, the jasmine is not too indolic or cloying. I would even daresay that the jasmine note is quite natural and smells just like the jasmine bushes at my parents’ yard. I think that at times I may get a faint whiff of banana, but not as bright and sweet as in the opening. Very safe for the office.

Wow! This smells like a bag of tropical sour gummy worms. It's vibrant, happy, and playful. The Daisy Wild line is warmer and more of a cloying floral banana. This smells very candy-like and brighter. I must not be getting as much of a banana effect as everyone else. I don't think it's redundant to own this one and the Wild series. The performance is okay. It's not a powerhouse, but it doesn't just disappear either. It opens strongly though. I think this one is the most unique and memorable out of the quad.

Sampled. Literally just Straight-up liquid Zyrtec-R ("banana" syrup-sugary flavored medicine). Hell yeah I love that shit. Really, it’s nice. Settles much more mild and wearable, softer and a lil powdery, but still retains its syrup-sweetness. Kitschy cute bottle and great scent. Wouldn’t buy it but I would wear it And most importantly I’m just glad that it exists

This one starts off smelling like photo realistic bubble gum. As it dries down the banana comes through. It was pretty but definitely evolving. It changes as you wear it. I liked this more than the pink one. But the pink one was really pretty too.

When you first spray this it's kind of awful, sickly artificial sweet. I think it's the banana. But after a while it softens up; it kind of smells like oud now, it has an Arabic gourmand vibe to it. It's nice but might be too sweet for some.

Out of the Murakami line, this has the most distinct scent. It smells just like a banana taffy taffy, which is a fun scent, but would much better be suited for a body spray than a full price perfume bottle.

opening is like banana taffy, dry down is like a ripe, spotted banana peel. but more like the brown weird fibery part of a banana. not as sweet as i would like

This is great! It’s like a candied banana with a floral touch. Fresh but sweet and unapologetically gourmand. Fun, feminine and sensual. Thumbs up 👍🏼

The banana note came off like bubble gum on me (in a good way) but unfortunately that quickly fades away into an average mediocre Daisy scent.

I don't get green banana,more banana bread in the opening. In dry down smells like Prada candy. Deffinetly not like Kayali to me

the only banana perfume i like! the banana and vanilla are delicious together but it lasts maybe an hour :(

Okay SO.... Spray tested this in Sephora yesterday.. it’s a cute fragrance. The Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild family are also banana fragrances but much juicier with such enjoyable layers that they make this Murakami version nothing special. Daisy Wild Eau So Extra is the stand out IMO. Also if you love this banana profile Sisters B4 Misters by Jusbox is gorgeouuusss and milky!

this one is kinda fun! very much “bananabananabananabanana” and then subtle vanilla, nothing insane. i think it’s a creative and playful fragrance but not exactly one i’d purchase for my own collection (edit: came back to say that i do nawtttt like the dry down of this one, it’s just pure amber on my skin for some reason, no vanilla after about 15 mins,,,,)

Juicy fruit bubblegum. I get a bit of the green banana on initial spray but this quickly dissipates.. very sweet, a bit synthetic, just like juicy fruit because it does not last super long. Almost no trace of the banana after 30-minutes, dry down is strange and linear. Not bad but something I would really have to be in the mood for.

Anyone who came here looking for banana notes oughta know its a fresh unripened GREEN banana peel note not like banana bread. Definitely a spring scent, sweet and clean smelling

After weeks of waiting, I was finally able to get a sniff of this today. Unfortunately for me (since my favorite color is green), I had to pass. The banana & jasmine notes are lovely – sweet and creamy with a hint of greenery. It gave a slight nod to the sadly discontinued BBW Butterfly Flower's banana leaf note (I have never been able to find anything like that one – wish they'd re-release). The top notes fade quickly and the base went extremely vegetal. After digging around for additional notes online, it appears there is an ambrexolide note as well as two types of vetiver – Haitian & a South Indian one apparently grown in sand that is more mineralic. I generally like vetiver, but the blend of this base was truly awful on me. So grateful I didn't get tempted into a blind buy. Definitely test beforehand to make sure it works on you.

the banana note is incredibly strong and smells exactly like those banana hard candies - so i guess if you’re into that then it might be for you? i got a migraine from spraying this on my skin & strong scents rarely bother me. the extreme synthetic smelling banana on top is wayyy too much for me lol

Despite being represented by green colour, to me this smells like blue bubblegum. I honestly thought this was limited edition released for toddlers. They would love the smell. I find it a bit weird for an adult woman, with crazy price tag for what it is.

I had high hopes, but I do not like it! 😥 For me smells more ambery than banana! I feel it heavy, linear. Not similar to original Daisy. Has something in common with Daisy wild, I like that one more, being more sweet.

I love banana notes in fragrances. And I loved Runts especially the banana. But I do not want to smell like a Runts banana. Hard pass.

well i feel so bad even doing this review cuz i am a huge daisy fan and i loved the murakami pink & yellow bottles BUT the green one was just weird on me :( i see it got a ton of rave reviews but at first it gives off a super sweet banana scent but that lasts for about 2 seconds then it goes into this odd alcoholy chemical smell that was just nauseating.......i unfortunately had to return this one :( i actually thought it had ambroxan in it cuz of the way it smelled but i dont see it listed.................has anyone else had this experience with the green one ??? well even tho this one didnt work im lovin the pink & yellow ones :) and hope to find the blue but so far hard to find & macys sold out of it lol

I love this so much! I've always been a fan of Takashi's art and as a fragrance lover its the best of both worlds! The green is my favorite. It smells like the perfect banana, jasmine vanilla mix. The banana doesn't last the whole wear length but it's still tropical in spirit. This to me is so so similar to Kayali Banana. But this one has the cooler bottle. I really like it, although the wear is somewhat short and close. Would love to see this offered at a lower price point even if it doesn't have the artist bottle.

I love banana, so this was easily my favorite of the Daisy X Murakami collection. Banana Laffy Taffy & jasmine that dries down to amber & vanilla. Simple, but well done; this is honestly what I wish Daisy Wild was. That being said, if you already own Daisy Wild Intense this is very similar(this swapped banana flower for banana fruit). I see the similarity some might find between this & Sud Pacifique's Vanille Banane, but I find this one is less sweet & a bit more subtle and refined

This is yum! If you've been looking for a banana floral fragrance, this is definitely worth a sniff! Daisy Murakami green is one of those fragrances that you really just have to try on your skin because that first blast of banana might hit hard. But after a few minutes it mellows out and is really just lovely. Still youthful and sweet, but the banana is much more subtle and gives way to the vanilla. Of the 4 Murakami Daisy frags, my favorites are the green & pink.

I sprayed this on and it smelled so strongly of banana I thought I was having a stroke or something. I was convinced there was something wrong with me for making this fragrance smell just like a freshly peeled green banana. I came on here and was so relieved to see to top note is indeed banana. OK now that it's settled, I'm not sure who would want to smell like banana, but at the same time I'm intrigued.

smelled today in person and really surprised myself with how much i liked it. The banana in this is really fun and playful; candied but not sickly sweet, tropical but not sunscreen-y. After a bit the banana gets a little greener and the jasmine note shines through, not heady or indolic but light and airy like walking past a house with the flowers blooming in the yard. really cute for summer

Marc Jacobs Daisy Murakami Green is exactly like a banana laffy taffy made into a fragrance in the opening. The dry down is more of a peel of a really ripe banana or even plantain. Still not very green but more of a natural banana sweetened with vanilla and a pinch of molecular amber to help with performance. And does because this lasts and projects pretty decent.

Very sweet banana, edible. However the dry down is much more muted. Still delicious, however does not compare to the very fruity first sprays. The banana really projects for about 10 minutes and then this becomes a more mellow vanilla jasmine. The whole collection is worth trying.

I tried this in store yesterday. On paper the banana note was bright and sweet but on skin was gone in 2 minutes or less. Disappointing because if it stayed like the opening it would have been buy worthy.

Murakami is doing so much lately, Artycapucines VII @ Art basel 25 for LV collection (so many unique pieces!) ,this collection with MJ, ect 🐙 the world needs more Murakami flowers/creatures

Sickly foam banana sweets, over a very strong, cheap n ropey smelling amberwood of the unscrubbable kind. Such a shame considering its happy little flower face :(((

Smells EXACTLY like those foam banana sweets. After the banana it’s a really nice jasmine and vanilla combo with a bit of warmth from the amber. YUMMM 🍌🧁🤎

HEAVY heavy banana that eventually gets lighter as time passes by then the vanilla powers over the banana till it’s barely there

The banana scent when first sprayed is EVERYTHING. It disappears almost immediately though, so disappointing!!
