Daisy Sunshine

I have no idea how original Daisy smells like. I know, shame on me. I started to work in perfume retail store this year (yay) and from Marc Jacob's creations we have only this one and Daisy dream sunshine. It took me 2 months to smell this one becouse for some reason I thought I wouldn't like this as I am drown to much more heavy potentious perfumes as Good Girl, Alien or Trésor. So when I saw yellow bottle with lid made out of flowers I didn't even bothered. What a fool am I! This is georgeous scent. I thought it's gonna smell like pure florals from the beginning to the end but no! I don't even know what am I smelling here but I know I love it. I hope that it really does smells like original Daisy as this is a limited edition and I need this in my collection for sure! :) Such a beautiful surprise. It proves that even though you can have your particular style in fragrances you can also find something you will love on other side of the river. Don't make opinion before you try :)

Ridiculously beautiful! I love pretty much all MJ's Daisies, but this one still managed to surprise me. It is an irresistible mixture of strawberry and marigold, with a woodsy note that keeps it delicate and makes it smell like a breeze on a sunny, warm, late spring day. I tried a few of Sunshine flankers, and while they do differ, they all maintain this breezy, warm vibe. A total must-have for this summer. Clean, delicate, close to the skin, yet still unique and interesting.

As I wear it more often, I have to agree with DarlingNikki and admit that it really has this plasticky note in it and it really can be irritating for some

On me the marigold is the dominant scent. The strawberry adds a fruity touch. It's a warm scent and I like to wear it when im chilling at home.

Lovely summer fragrance, also pretty to wear for bed. I find that it smells like a light creamy strawberry, but more fruity than gourmand-y, it's fresh. I don't find that it smells plastic at all, but then everyone's chemistry is different. I wish it had more projection, so it'd be a bottle one carries in their purse to respray now and then- if you do, leave the top at home or you'll end up breaking it.

I gave a huge review about Daisy, if you really are interested check on my profile however with this there isn't too much to say because my opinion is the same. It is just innocent and endearing. Perfect for the day time when you’re strolling around looking cute. You couldn’t find a more innocent girl fragrance if you tried, this is it.

It's very nice, I love the new Sunshine line. Just enough fruity and just enough airy. Perfect for spring and summer. It is a lovely skin scent, the violet note and strawberry are barely there, but the mix is balanced and very pleasant to my nose.

This smells like a soft strawberry candy. Normaly i don’t like strawberry fragrances, but this one is pleasant. It smells childish, but it’s nice. Sillage is soft. I recommend it to tweens who want to buy their first perfume. Final note: 6/10

The strawberry is subtle but elevates the violet to the point where the scent becomes powdery on my skin. I wore this in the office and when I caught whiffs of this, it smelled a little artificial, as if I had a bag of gummy sweets or a can of fizzy fruit juice on my desk. Not my favourite flanker. Edit: I've been wearing this a lot lately but I stop noticing it after half an hour. I sprayed this before jumping in the car once with my husband. I asked what he thought of my perfume and he said he couldn't smell anything. So yeah, it's pretty weak.

I smelled this today and the fruit is longer and more noticeable than the original. Very nice strawberry. The scent is very nice but by the time I left Ulta, I could hardly smell it on my wrist. Thisn might be even weaker than the original. Too bad because it's heavenly

Just got back from Ulta and smelled all of the new Daisy Sunshines (except for Dream which I wasn't really interested in smelling). Eau So Fresh Sunshine smelled exactly like the original to me (maybe a slight tweak but not enough to justify buying a bottle) and Daisy Love Sunshine was more of the same, just some tweak of the original. Now, Daisy Sunshine smelled exactly the same as Daisy at first, but as it dried down on the scent strip (I didn't spray it on me) it became sweeter, fruitier, juicier and stayed 'clear'. I'm going to get a sample to try out because I think I might have found a holy grail scent. I don't smell the powderiness of the original Daisy that comes from the violet and violet leaf combination and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays as clear on my skin as it did on the scent strip because that violet powder was the only reason I can't wear the original Daisy (otherwise it's a big love). Will update after getting a sample and wearing it on my skin. EDIT: I got the sample of Daisy Sunshine and Daisy Love Sunshine and I don't know what it is, but there's some kind of weird, horrible smelling 'plastic' note in the Daisy Sunshine that almost made me hurl. I thought it might be the sample (like the tape that covered it so it wouldn't leak might be smelling that way) so I went to Ulta to try it out and no, that same horrific plastic scent is there. I think it might be the marigold note because it was so strong and jarring from the strawberry sweetness. Really upset about it, too, because I thought it might be my holy grail Daisy, but no way could I get past that horrible note in there. The Daisy Love Sunshine was nice, nothing to get overly excited about, but the newest version (Daisy Love Eau So Sweet) might just be full-bottle worthy!

This one smells identical to twinkle, but not much like the original. I tend to really enjoy the Flankers of the flankers, but I dont tend to like any of the annual original daisy flankers. They take a wonderfully fresh masterpiece and turn it into a fake berry childs candy. But I think the flankers of the daisy flankers tend to be masterful in their own right

This flanker is definitely more fruity. Kinda smells like the strawberry gogurts I give my kids

My gf had this back when it first came out. I just remember it being sweet, uplifting and so good. I’ve been searching for this for quite some time with no luck. Would really appreciate if someone has even a half a bottle of this and wants to sell it to me. Needs to be shipped to Sweden

This smells summer and happiness. But the smell didn ́t stay so long. i like it anyway. If there is a body creme in this I had love to wear it.

This smells like the sweets parma violets to me, i like it , but it doesn’t last long.
