Daisy Wild Eau So Intense

Holy banana Batman! Considering banana isn’t listed as a note, this opens with a blast of banana fruit. The scent is somewhere in between that of a Gros Michael and Cavendish banana, there’s artificial and fresh fruit here. A definate hit of isoamyl acetate. If you were hoping for sweet banana in this fragrance, you’ll be satisfied.. for about 5 mins and then the banana.. well.. splits! I really wasn’t sure what I was getting into initially, thinking I’d accidentally stumbled across a gourmand.. but as the perfume settled, I was very pleasantly surprised. The jasmine comes through and, to my nose, a hint of tuberose, but gently so. There’s still a fruity hint and what I also imagine then is the banana flower. It pulls the white flowers toward a yellow floral, a hint of green and creamy waxiness, and as the amber creeps up from the base, a warm resin plays with the brightness. There’s a little bit of earthy nuttiness in there too. It’s sweet but surprisingly really well balanced and very pleasant to the nose. As it settles further, in stark contrast to its opening, the sandalwood pulls all the notes together to create a rather sensual yet bright, sweet fruity, earthy floral. The dry down actually reminds me a bit of Paco Rabane’s Olympea. It doesn’t smell like it, it just has the same vibe. A sensual, almost velvety slightly, fruity floral. Easy to wear and very nice indeed. I was worried about the ‘intense’ bit. I don’t get on well with Marc Jacobs DNA, they all give me stonking headaches, which is unfortunate as my daughter favoured the cute bottles from her late teens and I’ve had to endure many a car journey choked out in a cloud of Daisy, Dot, Perfect and their many flankers. But not with this one, it doesn’t overly smell like a Marc Jacobs and it’s actually one I could wear.. and ENJOY. I thought I’d share the OH’s view for balance. When I first sprayed it he yucked it and said it smelt like a sweet air freshener lol. An hour later he said ‘oh, you smell good’ and asked if I had sprayed a different perfume, didn’t believe me and was adamant that I was wearing the perfume I ‘use to wear ages ago’.. showed him the bottle of Olympea ‘yes, that one!’.. so it wasn’t just my nose. So I did spray a bit of Olympea on a mouillette.. they are very different but there is definitely a familiarity to the feel of them both in the dry down. Collection Status this was a sample. And I could actually see me considering this as a potential holiday perfume. It really is a surprisingly beautiful perfume. I’m also hoping my daughter can get over her hatred of banana and choose this as her next Marc

Once I tried a sample of this green Beauty, I knew I would buy the full bottle. And I did 🤭 I could not resist the cute tiny meadow on the lid 🥰 It is lovely. I wanted a perfume for spring and summer - light and fresh but not too grassy, sweet but airy, unique but not too complex since perfumes with too many ingredients make me sick in the hot weather. And finally I found Daisy Wild Intense 💓 I have never smelled banana flowers, therefore I cannot say whether this note is realistic or not. However, I can say that I can smell bananas, definitely. This is the fresh part right at the beginning. In a few minutes it's time for jasmine, blending nicely with the banana flower. And then you can enjoy the sweetness of the base notes. Musk is usually not my friend, and musk is all around 🤭 You can imagine how difficult it is for me to find a perfume without it. I really appreciate amber and sandalwood here. Wish this one lasts longer. In three hours it does not project anymore although I can still get some whiffs. Very expensive for that longevity, imho. Anyway, it's a big love 😍 Got a pretty compliment about how I smelled the very first time I wore it.

its an ok fragrance, initial Spray is quite violent and smells like sour apples. reminds me a lot of carolina herrera edp, the old one. Very much on the mj Decadence/perfect style kinda frag of big time florals. time is a flat circle indeed i did two more flights with this one before purchasing a bottle! disclaimer though - im a sucker for marc jacobs and his watery garbage, having missed my chance with his previous discontinued greats, these are my conclusions: reminds me of a variety of older perfumes also: guerlain terracota edp, maybe something by rochas?, vintage amarige, yvresse, like fully Bloomed gardenias in spring. Sandalwood is quite astringent on the background, the sweet floral-ambroxan note does last long. Not quite as frooty/clean/freshie as daisy wild, more floral and sweet indeed. on drydown it becomes somewhat greener cuz It has like a orange peel vibe prolly coming from the sandalwood. Its cute, I bought a 50ml bottle to replace black opium on my wardrobe edit: a month in, I like this one better than the regular Wild EDP, drydown is somewhat shampooey which is something I enjoy a lot in perfumes.

OH MY GOOOONESSS!!! I sprayed this 648 times in Ulta today, I kept going back :D Came home & ordered the 100 ML. I love the BANANA I get from this. I am surprised to come here & see "Banana Flower", b/c I am telling you, this is a banana scent at the start & I was IN LOVE. I cant tell you yet if it stays that way, b/c I was also smelling other things, but this won by a mile. It is gorgeous & perfect for spring & summer, it's right on time! I don't think I have ever sprayed a perfume before, not even knowing it even existed, or anything about it, and picked out the green banana out of the beautiful scent. This will be a staple in my collection from now on, b/c I have searched for this for years! FINALLY!!! I will come back & update after some good wear I smelled the original Daisy Wild & got NO bananas. Way different. After a few days of wear, I notice the Banana smell does mellow out ( or maybe I become nose blind to it) & beautiful candied springtime flowers appear. Almost smells like good clean scent of "Gain Island Fresh" washed clothes on the line outside & Jasmine blooming in the yard. . Well done!

This is a super fun, BIG, bright, happy fruity floral - it has kid with a giant grin eating banana laffy taffy hanging at the swimming pool energy - you canNOT be in a bad mood when wearing this! The first moments give you strong banana notes - a bit candied but more floral - not the full on banana candy Daisy Murakami Green gives. The banana doesn’t last long on me (which I’m fine with 😅), quickly evolving into a juicy fruity floral that smells a little like jasmine flowers mixed with apple flavored jolly ranchers (as the previous reviewer referenced - I could see getting Apple from this). Is this classy and mature? No, no. But heck, do we need to be all class all the time?! No thank you! I’m waaaaay beyond the teen years and I still greatly enjoy this playful, youthful scent profile - at least on occasion! Lasting power is akin to the whole Daisy line - not great, not terrible ; I do find this lingers a respectable number of hours at least and projects nicely for the first few hours. I’m excited to smell the next iteration: Daisy Wild eau so extra! 🍌🍌🥳

Finally got.around to testing this the other day. Straight to the top of my want list , thIs will be my next purchase. ....I'd tested a few current/popular frags in Boots this weekend (big UK drugstore ) , I never do more than 5 as my nose gets too confused. This was the 5th. The first 4 were all really "meh" to me. ..... This one made me smile and say "WOW". ...SO different to all the other so-so offerings. The banana /ylang-ylang note is STRONG. If you dislike either of those you will hate it. .... It reminded me of some Ylang Ylang oil my mum had in the late 80s (body shop maybe). I was just banana/OG daisy to me , with a slight green edge. Simple but very affective . This stood out so much !! What a fun fragrance, for any age if your young at heart .b I am 48 and will be wearing this !! I also live the fun bottles. .... Im not a boring minimalist bottle person at all. .... More fun bottle please !! I love the colour green Ans green bottles too so this will be taking pride of place on the "💚" section of my shelf. Lovely !!

This was one of my top surprises of 2025. I liked the original, but it was forgettable. THIS, though? Wow. The banana is dirtier and nuttier — like crushed peanuts or earthy roasted nuts. It’s not sweet and sugary; it’s bold, grounded, and almost savory. The florals come through clean and fresh, almost fruity, which balances that earthy depth beautifully. It lasts well on skin, fading into a soft, subtle sweetness. On clothes, though? It keeps that earthy richness much longer. I really enjoy this one and honestly wish I had worn it more — that’s about to change. I’ll definitely be reaching for this bottle a lot more. I also just grabbed the “Eau So Extra”, more intense version, so that needs some wear time too. Overall, this is absolutely one to test. And if you love it? Don’t hesitate — grab a bottle.

i have the little sample bottle what a beautifully unique perfume - the banana flower note makes this perfume so interesting because it isn’t an intense, artificial banana flower note but instead a fruity note that’s playful in a mature, elegant way - this is the only perfume i’ve found that i don’t get a headache from and is non cloying enough to wear to work. it lasts so long on my clothes and i use 1-2 sprays of that teeny tiny bottle and the sillage just from that is perfect. it is a wonderfully fresh, clean scent with a gorgeous playful undertone that doesn’t ever lean towards juvenile. it’s soft enough to not be sharp and headache inducing, but not so soft and sweet that it’s cloying. so perfect, so balanced. i need the big bottle yes please.

I got a little tester of this and honestly wasn’t expecting much, since I usually go for super sweet, youthful scents like Pink Sugar and Sweet Tooth. I’ve always thought florals were either too mature or just not me, but I actually really loved this one. It smells fresh and girly, but not in a sharp or powdery way. It’s soft, slightly fruity, and just really pretty. Like a floral scent that still feels fun. As a lot of people have said, the banana smell is definitely noticeable, which surprised me because it’s not listed as a note, but it adds this unexpected creamy twist that I really liked. The lasting power is about 7 hours on me, which I think is pretty good! The projection isn’t the strongest, though. It’s more of a personal scent. 🌼🍌🌿💛✨🌸

Don't be confused by the notes---banana flower is NOT banana. This is not a gourmand. The banana flower is a creamier floral than most, but is still green and not foody. I definitely get that note above all, and it's gorgeously blended with the jasmine, amber, and sandalwood to create a sexy, feminine scent that has amazing longevity and will be perfect year round.This version is SO MUCH BETTER than the original iteration of Daisy Wild--I found that one too green, too screechy, and very uninteresting. This hits all the right spots. One of my favorite Daisies. Plus! That bottle is just too cute. Don't get the travel size, get one big enough so you can see the cute bottle in action.

I absolutely love this perfume, it's the best scent I've ever had. The banana note is just heavenly. I'm just so happy for the So Intense version, because the regular Daisy Wild was not at all as good as this. Daisy Wild smelled good on my skin for 2 hours and then turned to a powdery old person scent which I could not tolerate but had to wash away. Whereas this doesn't have that kind of change, it stays heavenly and fruity all the way. I got compliments at least from one person (maybe more, can't remember) for the awesome scent. The normal price for this scent is quite high, I probably would not buy it for that price, but I managed to get 30 ml for approx 60 euros which is good.

I tested it a day before its official launch at Boots and it was love at first spritz. I remember I kept saying how much I love the smell, and fell asleep with a smile because I was in love with the smell. It stayed on my blouse until the next day. It opens with sweet banana and bit cloying but slowly diminished. The opening has a bit of the original DNA but quickly fades away. The dry down smells like banana, very pleasant. No musky dry down at all. If you're like me, you don't like the original... you'll like this. I'm getting a full bottle of this. Projection: 7/10 Longevity: At least 6 hours on my skin, longer on my blouse Rating: 10/10

This smells sooooo good. like others have said this is similar but stronger to the original wild daisy. this one is better in my opinion. such a beautiful tart fruity banana opening, a hint of floral very smooth jasmine, that fades to a resinous sandalwood. i also notice i get a hint of smoky incense in the dry down but it’s super subtle and also not listed in the notes. i really really like this, I've never smelled anything similar. the use of all the notes together is chefs kiss. either i’m a sucker for a fruity jasmine or marc jacobs has cracked the women’s fragrance code since making the og perfect they haven’t missed. 500 stars

A Beautiful sweet scent! Even as someone who doesn't like the current trend of cloyingly sweet fragrances I like it. True, I haven't yet tested it out with warmer weather, I also am not usually a fan of amber notes, so I was a bit hesitant to try this, but so far I love it. The sweetness is beautifully blended with some fresher, more grounded notes and although it does remind me a bit of the other Mark Jacobs Daisy fragrances, it is it's own thing. For me the most different and best one of them. It does get a bit boring in the dry down, not bad, just becomes more ordinary.

I sprayed this at the duty free shop in the airport, and could NOT stop sniffing my wrists, so I knew I had to have it! It’s gorgeous. At first whiff, it smells like a mix off bubblegum, bananas, and a touch of floral. It’s sweet, but not overly so; it’s brilliantly balanced! This one has a lot more longevity than the other Marc Jacobs (which tend to last barely an hour on me). It does get a bit less sweet and fresher in the dry down- at which time, the Marc Jacobs DNA in the other flankers comes out.

Marc Jacob’s does some really beautiful, reliable fragrances, but the daisy wild intense really stands out to me. Its smells like bright jasmine tea with fresh green banana. It very unique and is my go to for spring and summer. I have also tried the Elysia sweet banana and Kayali Maui in a bottle, but this one is my favourite- it leans a bit fresher and lasts much longer as well as a stunning bottle. Definitely recommend if you like sweet, airy, fresh notes for warmer weather.

Hello my friends 👋🫶. A lovely sweet banana bomb at start and after it became similar to daisy wild so much that i had to test in the other hand to see if they are the same. They have a small difference in sweetness and more longevity(intense) and the freshness of wild. Banana vibe after 1 hours gave its place to a flowery spring scent . I love the spring vibes that it gave me and I think it's a perfect spring season scent . I wish that the Banana scent would last more ...

Just tested at Sephora. The Banana opening is absolutely AMAZING!!! It is a sweet banana laffy taffy. Then it settles slowly into that jasmine and it's been about 4hrs and now it is close to the skin and all I smell is just amber and sandalwood. If there is a way to keep that banana opening rocking the whole time, this would be a 10/10! It would make a GREAT pairing with Born in Roma The Gold Donna, in the Summer. As well as Soleil Blanc or Eau de Soleil Blanc (TF).

I think the reviews place so much more emphasis on the banana note than needed. That's a very quiet lingering thing that gives it more sweetness, but smelling actual banana doesn't last long at all. This is green, sweet, happy. It has the lightest powdery drydown. It also has that signature Daisy edge to it. What an incredible perfume! I wanted one that reminded me of playing in a field of flowers as a kid and this is that.

I don't know what a banana flower smells like, but if that's what the first spritz is, by all means, sure! I also love how the scent sits on the skin, turning into a warm jasmine, and it lasts for maybe an hour longer than Daisy Wild and some of the other Daisy flankers on me, but colour me surprised at how much I enjoyed this flanker. Darn those gorgeous plastic flowers for hypnotizing me...

This is an interesting fragrance - tropical and with a hinge of burnt banana or as the comment below said maybe passion fruit as it is kind of deep and earthy. I find it very different from Daisy Wild which is more fresh/green. This has become one of my favorites and it has a new category for me - deep green or rich green. I keep reaching for it more and more. Great find!

This one EASILY beats the original out, bar none. The original smelled way too green on me and almost pulled chemicall-y on my skin. The intense version pulls a LOT more banana on me. It's like a sweet, rich, warm banana smell with some green notes that just smell like summer. I'll wear this one OUT this upcoming summer, it's almost edible.

Love love love love love! 💞 Bright and sweet and crisp, OMG yes! Marc Jacobs deserves awards for this whole line! Mixes extremely well with sharp or ozonic scents needing a sweet boost without the syrupy stickiness of straight sugar. Just plain wonderful for a sweet bright floral perfume. 10/10 Would buy again in a heartbeat.

This smells exactly like the regular Daisy Wild but stronger, which is perfect because the regular one is one of my top favorites but the longevity on it is bad, and you rarely see an intense version of a perfume that is truly an amplified form of the original, but we have it! It also projects well:)

Love at first sniff! I really get the banana in this one, plus the Marc Jacobs DNA. I liked the original Daisy Wild, but I didn't get any banana, it's a very fresh, green, floral scent. This one on the other hand is warmer and sweeter. I can't wait to wear it this spring and summer!

It's a happy perfume. Mood lifting sweet and delicious. I applied once on my finger (a single spray in a showroom tester) then i washed my hands 2 times with soapy handwash still that smell prevailed. Ahh.. Such a my dear perfume. I couldn’t stop myself from buying it.

I love this sooooooooo much. I fell in love with the bottle and the opening notes. After a while it turns a little more basic with the jasmine but still nice. I can smell it for around 6 hours. But the projection is very intimate. Only people who hug me can smell it.

I’m addicted to this! It smells chocolatey banana at first, then green and sweet plush florals. Absolute love, it def could become cloying if you wear too much but the aquatic note makes it really nice k think. Slightly like warmed skin. Gonna buy this I think!

I tried it months ago but came back to it to show so friend who also loved it at the top of my to buy list i like the og but I adore how much more prominent the banana is here you can almost taste it just a super uplifting scent

Most beautiful bottle & best daisy scent in a while. I think it’s youthful, most of MJ is pretty mass appealing, sweet, and flankers are just a bit off one another but Wild & wild intense are a nice new take.

I'm not usually a fan of Marc Jacobs fragrances but this is beautiful. Wore it for the first time in the warm sunny weather, so sparkling, fresh and pretty. The bottle is also gorgeous. 10 out of 10.

Blast of intense banana that mellows down abit ambery. Definitely pairing this with Hempz Sugared Banana and Vanilla Edit: Fully dried down is pure jasmine.

One of the most complimented perfumes I have. Fills a room when I walk in.

I was out shopping yesterday and decided to stop in Ulta to see what new scents they had I could catch a whiff of. (I had already bought another perfume that day. I know, I have a problem!🤣) I came across this new flanker. I had liked the smell of the last two, however the longevity and silage was basically nil so I hadn’t purchased them, but this lil beauty is different. It lasts much longer, hence the word Intense. The opening is absolutely beautiful banana flower. Having owned banana trees for many years when I lived in Houston, I can say without a doubt it is a very realistic smell. Unfortunately it does not last very long before the heart breaks through. The heart is a very light smelling jasmine that’s not cloying or overly sweet. Sometimes jasmine can even lean a little pissy smelling to me, kinda like privet hedge, however I digress. The jasmine is very pleasant here. The floral note lasts into the dry down for quite awhile. The dry down still has the jasmine lingering when the Ambroxan kicks in. The sandalwood is not distinct to my nose, it plays more of a supporting roll that rounds and smooths out the amber so that it’s not so sharp. It drys down to a skin scent, but lingers a on the clothes. It’s a simple non sophisticated freshie. I can see where some folks would think this was more of a young female scent, but at 50, I have no problem wearing something like this. Heck I still buy the Escada limited scents every year. (It’s my dirty little secret. 🤫) I also want to mention as food for thought, I didn’t pay full price for this. I had 30 dollars off at Ulta from previous purchases. Had it not been for that, I wouldn’t have pulled the trigger, I would have waited to buy it til it came out at a discount retailer.

Okay, I’ll be honest... I’ve always been prejudiced against Marc Jacobs perfumes. My personal opinion was that they’re a bunch of indifferent, forgettable, but usually crowd-pleasing scents. A big reason for that has been perfume influencers, because you’ll easily find the Daisy line—or Marc Jacobs in general—on their “perfumes to avoid” lists. The truth is, I’m still not completely free of prejudice, but I’ll tell you this: this scent is beautiful! It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s very pleasant. It lacks depth and doesn’t evolve into a masterpiece, but it’s nice. In fact, I find it has a similar philosophy to Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. They’re not identical, but they’re both happy scents. If this perfume were part of a Chanel line, everybody would be raving about it, explaining how unique, how photorealistic, how great this perfume is. So, my sincere opinion is: give it a chance if you’re looking for a nice, tropical scent for the summer. If you’re tired of aquatic and citrusy blue scents, I believe you’ll find it interesting. At the end of the day, it makes you smell beautiful—so I guess it fulfills its purpose as a perfume.

From a sample on my skin: First spray:💚😍 Oh! Green, fresh, photorealistic jasmine (the jasmine shown in the photo-fouli), as if I smelled it from the plant itself with the stems and all. It's fresh, green and floral. This jasmine is uplifting; it's not the melancholic, nostalgic, romantic jasmine, nor the alluring sensual one. Also, it's a bit tart. I'd guess there's a hidden tiny rhubarb note in there to cut through the very mild sweetness of banana flower. Not banana, but a banana flower. It's a youthful, pleasant perfect for spring jasmine scent 🌼🌱. The opening and the dry down (amber+banana flower) are better, as it develops in the middle into a sharper linear generic jasmine. As a scent to my nose: 7.5/10. Personal notes: Not for me, though. The jasmine in it reminds me of moments at home, and I'm abroad for years, so it makes me feel a type of way... Like "I'm missing that old good carefree summer days at home". I don't need this nostalgia everyday 🥺🤧. So, I won't purchase it.

This really is a lovely scent. I've tested the original Daisy Wild many times. I've debated about getting a travel size but for some reason I never pulled the trigger. Honestly, the advertising with the (barely past prepupubescent) girls was really offputting (aka creepy), so that's probably part of it. I sprayed the intense the other day at Ulta and it lasted for a long time. Much longer that the orignal. The scent is fairly linear. Most definitely banana. I'm still not sure if I'll pull the trigger but, this one is a MUCH better value just due to the longevity. These are both original scents in the marketplace. I know of nothing that compares to Daisy Wild and Daisy Wild Intense. 3/26/25 Just wanted to add that Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid gives a banana scent also - if that is a note you are looking for

There seems to be an array of Daisy Wild Banana/Banana Flower fragrances. I think I may have previously sampled the first rendition of it but didn't review it. This is a sweet and simple yet short-lived scent. Some banana fragrances can be quite heavy but banana flower gives this just a little nod to sweet banana candy whilst the jasmine keeps it plupart floral. I've never smelled banana blossoms, I wonder do they smell quite strongly of banana? This fragrance would suggest they do. There is enough greenness in there to keep it fresh and light, ideal for Spring and Summer, the combo of banana flower and jasmine is almost lilac-like . Nothing complex. Fun and pretty. The bad news is it doesn't last for long and is thus overpriced for the experience. Enjoyably cute though.

I find this insanely interesting actually! Though I cannot see myself purchasing it or wearing something like this except for very, very occasionally. I honestly don't remember what the original smelled like exactly, except that it was dewy and sweet. Well, so is this. But this is deeper, more banana-adjacent, almost overripe in a way reminiscent (but not exactly, I'm very acquainted with real ylang ylang and have owned bottles of essential oil) of ylang ylang...but less natural. It's trippy. If Willy Wonka worked in a jungle and grew large flowers that tasted like banana when they exuded nectar, the nectar would smell like this. It's fantastical, whimsical, weird and fun.

I smelled this without knowing the notes and I thought the banana accord was green apple. Very interesting considering the chemical composition for the fragrance of apple and banana are quite similar. I imagined a green apple because it definitely has a tartness at the start. I also read some greenery like grass and plants adding the freshness. Im not sure about the photorealism others are talking about but this fragrance is definitely interesting and might be worth looking into if you like that sort of chemical taste of banana laffy taffy, green apple candy or bubble gum mixed with spring leaves and grass. Not my taste, but it's interesting.

A flanker that pushes the Daisy Wild DNA into a more concentrated, syrupy territory. The composition leans into a bold, high-volume fruity-floral profile that demands attention. It opens with a photorealistic, over-ripe banana accord—sweet, slightly nutty, and technically impressive in its realism. This top note is ephemeral, quickly yielding to a dense heart of indolic white florals. The jasmine is dialed up to a 10, possessing a thick, syrupy texture that is bolstered by tuberose (which, curiously is not mentioned in the notes here). The dry down is a predictable but well-executed soft sandalwood, providing a creamy base for the florals.

It smells like vacation to me, bright, fruity, fun & tropical/summery. I do really love the banana note a lot, and kinda wish that they had an actual banana note in addition to banana flower to boost that up a bit. Overall it kinda reminds me of fruit scented hair products but in a nostalgic 80s/90s childhood way so I'm not mad about it. Very wearable but it is quite strong on me with huge sillage, so I've learned that one gentle little spritz is more than enough. Not something I'd reach for everyday, but great for weekends when you just want to let lose, relax and go a little wild...very appropriately named!

Tested in store and I really like this - bright and super unique with the banana flower. Its fun and tropical, but you do have to be okay with smelling like banana (particularly at the start). Its not something I'd wear every day for this reason but could see myself enjoying on the right occasion. Lasting power on this (and all Marc Jacobs perfumes I've found) isn't great, which puts me off buying a bottle. Although being an intense version I assume performance is slightly better than other flankers? One of the prettier MJ bottles too. Can see myself coming back to this next summer..
