Daisy Wild

To me this is a Ima enjoy nature, by going out and smelling like this perfume. It adds a sweet fantasy vibe to the very green smell it has that is a lot of fun, it's what you'd like to think a daisy in the wild would smell like only to face reality...but you don't have to with this perfume! I think this a perfect picnic/picnic date, brunch in the outdoors kinda scent. Not a fancy occasion or even indoors office scent tbh, it'd also be weird smelling so green in the dead of winter and snow. There's something "tobaccoey? earthy" about it, that reinforces that outdoor vibe, instead of a just "pretty flowers" vibe, which I personally love. I see people comparing it to bahamas by bbw...bahamas has the green element kinda but has no sweetness compared to this, it's not a fair comparison, this a lot better. A lot of people experience that type of green bahamas has as "bug spray", I can see that (I wish I didn't), but this one isnt like that. I wouldn't blind buy this, and I'd think before buying as when would you wear this might feel a little niche tbh, but I def recommend experiencing/trying it as it's not a "boring seen it" imo. I love it.

Wow! I'm honestly Surprised by this frag. I haven't liked a single Daisy frag to this day(Daisy glow is okay but very very light)! This is actually gorgeous! It's pretty, sweet, ultra feminine, with some fresh undertone. I actually have My Way Nectar on one hand, and Daisy Wild on the other and they smell SUPER similar! Of course there are differences but they smell a lot alike. Daisy wild is sweeter, projects more, and has an airy, and sparkling aura to it that MWN doesn't have. I enjoy both BUT I think I enjoy Wild more b/c of it's sweeter, and sparkling fresh effect....MWN is a flatter, lighter version of Wild. Take away the banana flower, add pear, turn down the jasmine add tuberose and you pretty much have the same scent, they smell so much alike imo. In wild I get the sweet fruity banana flower, with a fresh bright jasmine, I honestly don't get much else except a slight hint of sandalwood in the background, grounding the scent, it almost goes un-noticed tho. Will update soon if I find more notes popping out and my thoughts on longevity/projection.

I have the scent addict 8ml bottle from the fragrance shop, I wanted to try this out as I really liked it upon initial spray but when I bought the 8ml bottle and tried it on my neck and chest it didn't seem to last past 3 hours, i have the tinest bit left because I like to smell the bottle hoping it'll convince me to buy the 30ml bottle but I can't seem to justify spending that much on rubbish longevity. In the summer however when it was disgustingly hot and humid here in the uk, I layered this with nude bouquet by zara and I could smell the mix of these two around me which I really liked, I just know the sillage was good that day so it'll be good for peak summer when you're reaching 25 degrees and above so only a 30ml bottle to last me the hot summer months would it be a justifyable spend. Edit: I caved, it's my favourite summer scent as of now. I'm just glad i found a good deal on superdrug i think it was £40 for 30ml. for some reason however, I'm not loving it as much as i used to.

Just tested this today in macys and I must say at first I was not sold at all. I was picking up a "cats urine/rotten apple" (maybe the jasmine) mixed with a tropical scented fabric detergent and was put off from it - I didn't even ask for a 1ml sample from the store. Spoiler alert: I wish I did. On the drive home I kept getting a lovely waft of something refreshing, cool, green, nutty, fruity, with a hint of some type of floral. The jasmine really settled in the back ground. The banana flower is really unique to my nose. I really love it a lot! The macadamia nut is toasty and gives a nice twist. Alas, the vetiver is a really nice smooth touch. As always I love anything sandalwood. This one's creamy. Marc jacobs fragrances always seem to have a touch of plant/ herb nuances I'm h e r e for this one. I am going to pick me up a bottle asap. It needs a good chance to settle on skin.

I used to be a fan of Marc Jacob’s when he launched his first Daisy along with his 2nd perfume name after his own name. Both of them extremely floral and unique at the same time. But after the first boutique scent attempt, it just went down south like his fashion. He’s very talented but short live. After skipping all of his other perfumes ever since, this Daisy wild is the first one I think it’s kinda cute. Not sure because I am so away by all the more complicated scents in the market and sometimes you just want a cute refreshing lovely bubbly girl scent to wear, the kinda day you wake up in spring to see the sun peep out and it’s a bit cold but all flowers start to bud. You smell a bit of cool moist from the rain last night. Everything smells refreshing and thank god it’s weekend, you can relax and enjoy the simple life.

Very beautiful fragrance and bottle. It’s a spring fragrance, reminds me of when the days start to warm up and the spring flowers are emerging from their winter slumber, blooming brightly, filling the air with their sweet scent. That’s the feeling this fragrance gives, yet I don’t find it overly floral, thankfully. It has a creaminess, almost coconut like from the banana flower and macadamia with a little sweetness from the jasmine. It’s warm and inviting. Still smells of the original Daisy DNA but better. I love it! I also love how gorgeous the bottle looks on my dresser, like a little vase of spring flowers. Love the fact that these bottles are refillable, better for the environment and means I can buy the smaller 30ml for cuteness and refill for fresh perfume in the future.

macadamia and vetiver ground this composition beautifully, I had to get a box set after my boyfriend said "this one smells just like you", smells like Sun and summer but fresh and Green. Not overly sweet like so intense and so extra, which go heavy on the sweets (more akin to Mugler Aura Sensuelle on the Scent profile, remember Decadence? these are the banana cousins). To my nose the drydown is like a super freshie iteration of black opium. i used to Be a rose/Peach/berry kinda gal but I'm leaning more towards white florals as that is what the gwneral public associate to me, and also I find that this one might be super appealing to vanilla lovers! I live for Green vanillas, there is none here but It still gives the impression.

I can easily imagine using it after a shower to enhance a fresh, clean scent or during hot summer days for a light, invigorating feel. Notably, it doesn’t smell cheap or synthetic; it achieves a perfect balance that exceeded my expectations for this fragrance. However, it’s not for everyone—definitely not a blind buy! Update: After a few days of wearing it, I can definitely state that a jasmine note is suffocating and might give you a headache.

Whimsical, springy, and beautiful! This scent is just a wonderful breath of fresh air when it comes to Marc Jacobs Daisy line, they had all began to smell the same but this one stands out and really shimmers and shines! It definitely does what it aims to do, invoking a lush wildflower bouquet and the banana flower just adds to this unique experience and brings to mind this beautiful femininity that I haven’t smelled before. I also appreciate the subtle jab at the people who complained that the original Daisy smelled of banana peels, and then they turn around and use banana flower for this beautiful frag! I highly recommend you at give this scent a whiff. 6.5/10

I put this on today before work, and as I stepped outside, I was surrounded by this fresh, grassy, floral scent. For a moment, I thought it was just the blooming environment around me (flowers everywhere, grass fresh and green) - but then I realized it was actually THIS perfume. I’ve been on and off about Daisy Wild, but now I’m sold. I’ve been searching for a fragrance that captures that magical moment when you wake up and everything smells heavenly like spring. edit: Smelling it up close and freshly sprayed, i mainly get banana. Almost too fruity. But a minute later that fresh grassy scent kicks in. The drydown is green, nutty. Love

Love at first sniff. The banana flower blended with jasmine gives it this creamy, milky banana vibe. It instantly takes me back to Khao Tom Mat—that sticky rice treat with coconut milk, ripe banana, all wrapped up and steamed in banana leaves. I’m obsessed with it, and it’s the sweet my Ama would always make whenever I visited her. I absolutely adore this perfume. Scent-wise, it’s a solid 10/10. Longevity though... kinda meh, and the sillage isn’t that strong. But honestly, I don’t mind lighter perfumes—it’s crazy hot and humid where I live anyway. P.S. This might smell a little funky on some people’s skin, but not on mine!

Unique and alluring, like a fresh outfit and big plans on a summer evening. It starts out with a punchy hit of banana flower — which smells more of juicy fruits and greenery like passionfruit and papaya more than banana itself — before settling down into a little more of the jasmine and macadamia. As it settles, it gets a hint of an unruly edge, with jasmine and banana flower tangled in with dense vines and vetivier. I recognize big name brand perfumes get kind of a bad rap, and I strongly dislike many other perfumes in the daisy line. But daisy wild is something truly special, and I can’t recommend it enough. Rating: 10/10

Compré este perfume a ciegas y sin tanta expectativa porque estaba en oferta. Bueno que digo , lo amé. Es exactamente lo que usaría todos los dias para sentirme limpia , fresca , un tantito dulce , un fragancia que no molesta , dan ganas de olerla , es tranquila pero chispeante , tiene una nota de salida que es la gloria , y asienta hermosamente floral . No destaca , no grita , es relajante . Me resultó un perfume ideal para el uso diario y que no agobie para nada . Es inocente pero con carácter. Yo le doy un 10000 de 10 . Y en cuanto a duración se me hace super aceptable dura unas 5 horas decente .

I actually enjoy this fragrance a lot. I tried a tester first and started liking more and more so I had to buy a full bottle. I also love the original Daisy and I think this was a really nice flanker. The bottle itself is super cute. The scent is definitely light, sweet but also green. It stays quite well on the skin even though the scent is quite subtle. You can smell banana flowers in the opening, the middle kinda smells like green bananas and jasmine to me. The last notes are more woody. It's really refreshing and perfect for daytime use especially for spring and summer.

Little woodland flower fairy, cottagecore nature girly dream! My new summer scent. I’m a very soft, comfy, quiet and airy kind of person and this suits me just perfectly. Not invasive or synthetic, no alcoholic twinge and seems to last a really nice 5-6 hours for me before needing to reapply. It smells like you’ve taken psychedelics and sniffed plants, dense flowers, grass, dew drops, fruity trees and sparkly gently sweet fruit bowls. Settles down to a nice floral woody scent, reminiscent of a picnic on a blanket in the tall grass on a summers evening.

I ADORE this perfume, but it isn’t very versatile. It was the only Daisy line EDP the store had left, and I gave it an honest test and ended up loving it. But, it smells nothing like Daisy to me, whereas all the others in the line that I’ve smelled have at least some relation to Daisy, IMO. This perfume is very very fruity, slightly floral, but overall a good time :) For some reason, when it’s been on my skin all day, it ends up smelling exactly like grapefruit juice after having some soak into your hands. No clue why, but it just makes it more fun.

I really love this scent. The banana flower, macadamia and sandalwood are such a good combination. It settles on my skin beautifully and I don’t get any of the negative scents others have described. It also brings back feeling of nostalgia for me. This perfume smells like a teacher that when she walked by in the hallways she left behind the most memorable scent. I have been chasing finding something similar for 30+ years. This isn’t what she wore, of course, but the scent immediately brought me back. It’s a keeper for me.

Finally some creative new perfumery from a mainstream designer brand! I tested this and the Intense version just because the bottles are so gorgeous, and I actually really love both of them. They are different enough to justify getting both. The original is fresh and green and has a bright sort of fruitiness to it, more true to the Daisy line in general. The Intense is like a very different take on the same story: it is way sweeter and very juicy in a gummy candy sort of way. I’m a little obsessed, honestly.

One of my biggest dreams is to see a new version of this Daisy Wild, with this exact fresh, meadow-like notes but better longevity and better performances. The scent itself is phenomenal and is my favourite perfume ever but the longevity and sillage are very weak. I love everything about the scent, the fresh sweetness of the banana blossom, the elegance and mystery of the jasmine, the woody base notes. It’s so feminine, young and full of light

I know i'll have to revisit this because i stumbled upon it in shaws the other day while looking for a musky/powdery scent .. this smells very pleasant, floral and green to me .. i don't get all the bannana talk .. that said .. i'm not well versed in the womens section of things but i don't believe in gendering perfumes .. i lean towards florals for some reason and i can see myself buying this at some point .. so i will revisit it no doubt!
